(Might kill on off later dunno) Form: Bluepaw -- He him -- light blue parrot wings some black feathers in the middle of his wings -- apprentice he is tall white cat with black stripes and gray eyes unlike his rival Redpaw, he is know for his negativity and cold comments and is very unenthused most of the time always look bored and tired but can be trained with the right motivation Mentor is Hailfrost Cherry 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢 ❄Form: Redpaw --He him -- Red parrot wings with some blue green and yellow edges -- apprentice he is a musleular pure white cat with gray eyes he is much more bland than his cousin lack silver tabby stripes but he does have some gray spots on his legs and muzzle,he isnt exactly the brains of the family but is very passionate about fighting and hunting and is very determined and doesnt take jokes very well because of how easily fired up he is,his cousin is Bluepaw His cousin is Bluepaw Mentor is Nightchaser Cherry 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢 ❄ |

Hailfrost sighed, not quite wanting to be picked to go with the patrol, but knowing she had to. Her ears flattened a little, not looking at Nightchaser, almsot in fear of reacting any possible bad or sad looks. The Spine was dangerous and she wished she could stay, but her warrior duties had to come first. She wanted him to move a little closer, although they already sat pretty close to each other, so she didn't push it, but she kept attentive to any actions he made.
Snowfall snorted quietly, moving to pick her bundle from her den before returning. "I'm not going to give a long lesson but instead more of a crash course. I've packed some herbs here for your journey... so here. This is marigold, distinguishable by its large yellow flower. It's for infections and any inflammation, it should be chewed if it's going to be applied to anything. Centaury, it's got pink little flowers, the flowers can be used for appetite but also for infections. So two infection-fighting herbs, double the power. The cobweb is obvious, use it to cover wounds after applying any medicine, and moss, use that to clean any open wounds. Water should be easy to find, hopefully. To keep your strengths up, juniper berries and lamb's ear are here... But juniper also helps any anxious cats calm down." Snowfall paused, her eyes scanning the group of cats, although she hoped that Dawnstar would be the one to remember these, and she moved to close the bundle tightly, keeping all the herbs inside the large leaf. "Those are for the journey, but here's for today." She nosed some extra lamb's ear and juniper berries forward to the cats that were going to depart. Hailfrost only looked at them before picking one of each herb, not eating it yet, but keeping it in front of her paws.

Jayflight was pretty sure that poppy seeds calmed cats down and stopped shock and pain but snowfall was the expert so it was better not to question her."how long do you think it will take to get there?'' he asked Snowfall he doubted it would be a fun journey one of them might die if they didn't show a certain level of cation. Jayflight was already starting to get anxious but going on this journey could benefit him maybe even give him a chance to become deputy.

Snowfall replied, "Take a bit of lamb's ear and juniper berries, eat them, then eat something from the fresh-kill pile. You'll need your strength, and I assume you'll be leaving before midday." She mewed, nodding at Jayflight. "I don't know if Dawnstar has anything else to say, but I do wish you all the best of luck."

Dawnstar did her best to memorize the herbs, but already knew it was getting mixed up in her head. "Take an hour or two to rest and eat. Do not speak of this to anyone." She said before dismissing them with a flick of her tail. Then looked up with a start. "And take your herbs before eating...as Snowfall said." It seemed the leader was back to her old self. The less tense and angry one. at least, she felt less tense and angry. She could even feel a little hope.
Nightchaser stood up, grateful for a chance to leave. He didn't like any of this. It was giving him a headache just thinking about it. The tom shook out his fur. He had noticed Hailfrost avoiding eye contact and wasn't sure what that was about, but he was going to at least try to get in a meal with her. "Want to eat?" He asked almost softly.
Cloudface stood up and stretched. He shook his fur out after a second. he tapped his tail on the backs of both Jayflight and Nightchaser. "Hey, let's eat as a group. We haven't see these two," He flicked his tail towards the siblings, "in a while and plus, we might not get to for the next few sunrises." He left out the part that they could die. It just didn't fit the mood. Actually, it fit the mood too well. It was all doom and gloom, and that needed to stop.

"Yeah. The herbs aren't the best and some food might help wash it off. If any of you need anything else... I'll be in my den." Snowfall mewed before retreating to her den in silence.
Hailfrost stiffened before nodding. "Sure thing." She mewed, her tail brushing the tom's flank gently before she spread her wings and glided down towards the fresh-kill pile, nosing around before picking a rabbit big enough for the two of them. She sat near a boulder, setting the rabbit in front of her, and waiting for the tom to sit beside her before eating.
(lol its fine - i tend to do mine late at night or like early in the morining lmao )

Dawnstar watched her sister pad off into the den. She almost followed but decided against it. They might need some time apart. She still wasn't sure if her decision to leave Snowfall here was right or if it had bothered the medicine cat. She knew her sister had received the message and that she might feel some right to go, but the leader didn't feel right taking away the only cat that would know how to deal with the sickness. And, though she hated the small part of her, kept her sister here because she had the best chance of survival. The Spine was dangerous and full of predators, little prey, and shifting winds.
Sweeping away these thoughts, Dawnstar slowly got to her paws and picked up the herb bundle. She would have to take this around with her now. If she left it, the kits or apprentices might get into it. She gave a nod to Cloudface, accepting his invitation to eat. Though she wouldn't really be paying any attention, she could at least eat with the cats of the patrol.
Nightchaser did not hear Cloudface. He followed Hailfrost, with merely a flick of his tail as a good-bye to the rest of the patrol. The warrior landed softly and tentatively sat next to Hailfrost. He made sure their fur wasn't brushing. Something was weird between them and the tom didn't know how to fix or even explain it. It was like...he didn't know what it was like or if it was good or not. He wrapped his tail around himself as he thought. His eyes glossed over as he drifted deeper into thought.

Snowfall kept herself quiet in her den, resuming to her everyday duties, which would consist of throwing out spoiled herbs and organize anything that had moved into an incorrect place. She sighed. Snowfall knew she'd worry over her sister's absence, but she was being left behind for the clan's best interest. Knowing that if the sickness were to sweep through the clan early, she'd be able to halt it from spreading and hopefully heal any ill cats back to full health. But she knew that was a slim chance. The only herb that would really eliminate the disease was in the Spine, and they have yet to bring it back.
Hailfrost didn't look at the tom. She ate quietly, knowing that once they ventured out of camp, only StarClan knew if she'd return alive or not. She wished for the best, but she also wished Nightchaser would come on the patrol with her, just to make the dangerous journey a little more comforting and to keep it feeling like home. Her eyelids drooped a little and ears folded back, sadness laced into her facial expression.

Sharpsky watched with a flicker of amusement,she was surprised jay was picked not her but didn't mind stepping aside to let Jayflight shine for once,she always thought that he would become a medicine cat but he pulled through and Snowfall already wanted the position.
Jayflight swalled the herbs flashing a disgusted face at the sour herbs "How do these even help us they just taste gross and make me never want to eat again" he mewed licking his belly fur.

Nightchaser slowly came back to reality. His headache was starting to break up his thoughts anyway. After a couple bites, the tom snuck a glance at the she-cat. Seeing her made his heart drop. she just looked so...sad. He looked at his paws, grasping at things to say. He could only think of the usual, but none of them seemed good enough. He sighed. It would have to be good enough. "Good luck." He said weakly, "I would like if you came back. The twoleg nest would be pretty empty without you."
Cloudface, who had just finished his herbs, couldn't help but to wrinkle his noise. He did manage to smile at the tom's comment. "Well, that is the point. They are suppose to make you full." He said with a chuckle. He knew Jayflight had meant he couldn't eat because of his disgust, but he couldn't help but to tease the poor tom. The tabby flicked Jayflight's shoulder. "Let's get some prey to wash the taste away." He said.

"I'll be back. Don't worry." She reassured him, although she wasn't sure herself if she would be returning. A sigh left her before she nosed he remains of the prey away, then shifting closer, nuzzling the tom's neck again. "Just don't let anyone run into trouble, yeah? When I come back, maybe we can head out to the twoleg nest again and just hang out like we used to. Maybe go out for another fly, or hunt, or maybe just sleep." She smiled, knowing that hopefully it'd make him feel better, but she herself wasn't sure and she did her best to mask her fear.

Nightchaser chuckled, feeling more relaxed now. He relaxed as she nuzzled him. He returned her gesture with a couple soft licks to her head. "That would be nice." He admitted, before smiling to himself. "I'll make sure everyone is okay over here and you'll make sure no one gets lost on the patrol. Then we can spend a day just flying and talking." A small purr escaped the tom when he thought about it.

Redpaw and Bluepaw went over too Nightchaser to ask his opinion "Whos the best fight me or him" Redpaw asked he was clearly exited and hyperactive as usual,Bluepaw didn't look very amused by this and just wanted to finished this so Redpaw would leave him alone and stop getting under his feathers.

The she-cat let out a small, content purr at the licks he gave her head, "That sounds wonderful, Nightchaser." She looked up at him with a smile, nodding, then letting her tail brush his flank. "I sure hope no one will ruin the journey for us." She added quietly, "I mean, i hope it's a safe trip. That's what I mean." She was about to speak, but Redpaw and Bluepaw had approached, and she sighed quietly.

Sorry about not posting. I'm still trying to rearrange the clan for all of the apprentices. I refer feathered wings together since they have different ways to use their wings than the rest. No matter how you cut it, one apprentice has to be left out. Readpaw might be w/out a mentor unless Marceline returns or someone joins.
I'll get to posting soon. )

Nightchaser leaned away from the she-cat as the apprentices approached. His tail twitched in slight annoyance but a bit of embarrassment. He then shook his head at the outrageous question. He looked at Redpaw then Bluepaw, judging their size and thinking about what he had heard. He didn't really know who was more talented in fighting. From what he had heard, Bluepaw was, but he didn't know for sure. "I don't really know. That is a question best left up to your mentors." He said honestly.
