Sharpsky flew through the sky looking for somewhere to land,she and Jayflight had been on patrol but got stuck in a storm and had gotten lost,now she had finally made her way back too camp.her friends probably thought she was dead for being absent for so long.."Why bother they probably don't want us back" Jayflight mewed anxiously."I'm sure they will stop being such a downer" Sharpsky snapped landing on the soft grass of camp.

Cloudface looked up as he heard wingbeats. No patrols had been sent out this early and everyone had returned from last night. The brown tabby quickly padded out into the courtyard. His eyes widened when he saw the two siblings land. "Sharpsky! Jayflight!" He yowled. He grin spilt his muzzle as he padded up to the warriors. "Wait until Dawnstar hears you two are back." Then he stopped talking and looked thoughtful. "Actually, you might not want to. Something is happening. Snowfall and Dawnstar in in a secret medicine cat and leader meeting." He corrected.

"Huh secret meeting?" Jayflight mewed folding his blue wings he had been swept away for so long. at a place called sun drown place,he heard other cats call it a "beach" but what do kittypets know that he doesn't he thought remembering how scared he was when the storm drove them out into the unknown.he was just happy to be at camp again.

"Yeah." Cloudface said with a nod. After a second, the tom sighed. "You two must be tired. Do you need fresh kill or maybe to visit Snowfall?" He flicked his tail towards the medicine cat room.

Cloudface nodded before padding along to where he saw the tom disappear last night. By now, the dark grey tom was up and grooming. He blinked his mismatched eyes as the tom walked in. "Sharpsky and Jayflight came back." Cloudface announced, not being able to hold himself back. Nightchaser's eyes widened. After the storm, he had expected the worst. He almost didn't believe it. He scented the air, but sure enough, there was the scent of the two siblings mixed in.

Nightchaser let out a weak smile. His tail flicked, but he followed Sharpsky. There was no reason to be rude and he suspected it would be a very short run. He couldn't imagine she would have much energy left. It was wonder she was running around still. Nightchaser could only guess they wanted to walk around the castle to familiarize themselves again before falling asleep. The tom followed, trailing behind the other warrior. He wasn't sure where they were going but he followed the she-cat down the hallways.
Cloudface turned around. He would have to tell Dawnstar about the patrol's return. He gave one look at Jayflight before disappearing toward the leader's usual den. He used Dawnstar's scent to lead him.

Snowfall nodded. "Be quick." She mewed, quickly turning and heading out of Dawnstar's den. She headed into her own, picking an ivy leaf to begin setting the herbs. She placed a few pieces of lamb's ear and juniper, enough for a few days. Additionally, she added marigold and tormentil just in case any were wounded, as well as some cobwebs and moss. She didn't have much left, but she picked a few leaves of dock to help them fight infectuon if the need rose. Her eyes scanned the walls where her herbs lay hidden, unsure of what else to add. She only hoped fornthe best.
Hailfrost was able to catch a glimpse of Nightchaser head off with Sharpsky, and she felt a pang of sadness within her. Sighing, she wished she could've told him to be careful and stay safe.

Dawnstar soon ran into Cloudface, who told her the news. She smiled at the tom and nodded. She quickly thanked him and head on her way, with the brown tabby on her heels. She was hoping to catch the siblings and Nightchaser before they left, but no luck. Only Hailfrost remained. "Cloudface, go get the others." She told him with an urgent tone.
Cloudface dipped his head before disappearing. He didn't like being ordered around like that, but something told him the leader must have something on her mind. She had a stronger tone today. The tom shoved that out of his mind as he tracked his clanmates.
Dawnstar turned to Hailfrost. "Are you feeling okay?" She asked, looking the she-cat up and down.

Hailfrost stiffened. She felt an uneasy emptiness now that Nightchaser was out, much less with another she-cat, but she did her best to keep that off her mind. Her clan, right now, was more important. And if Nightchaser felt the same about her, then he'd come back. Her eyes fell onto her leader, to which she scrambled to her paws and nervously dipped her head. It had only felt like recently she'd been made a warrior by her. "I-I'm okay. What happened?" She mewed. Her usual openness and bubbly personally wasn't there this morning, and she feared others would notice it was mainly because of Nightchasers disappearance. "Is something wrong?"
Snowfall sighed. She didn't want to dip the moss in water, and she figured her sister would know to find a source of water if the need arose. The snowy she-cat looked over her herbs. These were the only ones that would truly help them in their journey, and she nodded, leaning down to nip at the ivy leaf and close it, making sure that the herbs she'd packed were safe inside of the bundle. She nosed it towards the wall, heading out to look for Dawnstar and see how many cats were going so she'd explain the herbs and uses.

"Yes, but I will have to explain when the rest get here." The leader looked at her paws while she mulled over some thoughts. It would be useless to explain now since all the cats weren't here. Dawnstar consisted moving it to the throne room but this was not a clan meeting nor a ceremony. The clan didn't need her mixing the rules up and she did not want to tell the whole clan about the sickness. She wanted that news to spread as slowly as possible. She sighed. This was not going to go well and her stressing over it wouldn't help right now. The tan she-cat sat up and looked over at the she-cat. "How have you been?"

"Is it bad...?" She questioned, tilting her head. Dawnstar seemed awfully concerned, and that alone grew worries on Hailfrost as well. It couldn't be something bad. If it was, the leader would have let the clan know, but then again, some things are better left unsaid. And perhaps that was exactly what Dawnstar was doing. Hailfrost looked at her leader, opening her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Snowfall's soothing voice from across the courtyard.
"Dawnstar! Have you picked the patrol yet?" She called, wanting to explain the herbs as quickly as possible and get them on their way. Snowfall didn't want the sickness settling in anytime soon, and even if some cats might've been displaying symptoms, she didn't want it to spread. The little herb would prove difficult to find - it had a similar appearance to goldenrod and the two had different uses. "I don't want to keep this waiting much longer!"

urg, the traditions are so long. I tried to base them off of a knighting ceremony and make them unique, but they are so long. x.x )
"Well-" Dawnstar started before being cut off by Snowfall's call. The leader's ear twitched. She quickly got to her paws. "Follow me." She beckoned the warrior with a tail flick. The leader bounded away. With the narrow halls and tight corners, she had to slow but she still made good time. "Snowfall." She said in a hushed tone with slight annoyance, "Don't be so loud. I don't want to whole clan hearing." She spoke a bit loud with her next words, "I haven't collected the rest of the patrol. Turns out Sharpsky and Jayflight are back and I want Jayflight on my patrol. However, they seemed to have disappeared in the castle along with Nightchaser." She sighed. "I sent Cloudface after them. They should be here soon."

Hailfrost only gave a curt nod before following after Dawnstar. She eyed Snowfall once there, ears twitching as she listened to Dawnstar scold Snowfall about her loudness. Surely, she didn't mean to, but Hailfrost shrugged it off. "So shall I wait for them to return before explaining? And are you taking Hailfrost with you?" Snowfall asked, lookign at the small warrior,offering a friendly smile. She didn't know that Dawnstar wanted to keep it down low, and Snowfall seemed embarrassed about calling Dawnstar over so loudly while everyone was probably listening.
"W-what's going on?" Hailfrost only asked. She was clearly worried. She'd never seend Dawnstar and Snowfall so concerned and serious about someothing, maybe it was a loner in the territory? She didn't know. "Is it something bad?"

Dawnstar sighed. There was no point in keeping it from Hailfrost anymore. Who knows how long it would take for the rest to get back? Hopefully, not that long but it didn't seem that way. The leader turned towards the warrior and sat down. Her blue eyes met with the other she-cat's. "Last night StarClan warned Snowfall of an impending sickness. Apparently only one herb can cure the sickness and it's in the Spine." She provided the shortest explanation she could.

Hailfrost stiffened as Dawnstar spoke, a frightened look on her face, although she did her best to brush it off. Surely Dawnstar had a plan, and Snowfall would go to help whoever went find that herb. "A sickness...? We haven't had anything like that in moons..." She trailed off, sitting up straighter as she realized the urgency the two higher ranked cats had.
"It's pretty rare, too. So the chances of finding this herb are slim, but hopefully whatever is in the Spine is still untouched." She meowed. "I've only seen the herb once, with my previous mentor. And even then it was only one time and we didn't use it. It ended up spoiling. But it has multiple uses, so if we can find a place where lots of it grow... then that'd be great for us. Its name started with a 't.' I don't really recall - it was so long ago. It looks like goldenrod, though, and has a sweet smell. Shouldn't be hard to find, because goldenrod doesn't have much of a smell whereas this herb does. The name slips my mind, it was almost eons ago..." Snowfall joked quietly, looking away. "Once Dawnstar picks cats for the patrol I'll explain what I need to explain."

Dawnstar silently watched the courtyard for any sign of the others. "I plan to take Hailfrost, Cloudface, and Jayflight with me." She told the small group. The leader grunted after a couple of moments. "We might as well eat." she said, sounding tense.

Maybe tell him something when you return? I don't know." Snowfall sighed and looked over at her den, motioning the cats to follow.

Swallowpaw -- male -- eagle wings -- apprentice
Lean and built, Swallowpaw has strong limbs and thick fur. Its a light grey-blue shade, and atop his head sit two large, triangular ears, with small tufts protruding from them. His tail is long and fluffier than himself, which makes him a deadly opponent within the sky and on the ground. There are tufts at the end of his tail which seem to fork out, almost like a swallows tail. He's very calm and relaxed and can keep his cool under pressure. He's awfully cocky at times and will not back down easily. He lives for adrenaline and adventure, something most scold him for, as it gets him into trouble at times. Although he loves having close friends, he doesn't appear to be extremely interested in forming a relationship with another cat, regardless of gender.

Bearpaw -- male -- Kori Bustard wings -- apprentice
Bearpaw is, no surprise, big. He isn't tall, but just big and fluffy. He likes the first part, not the second. This apprentice's legs are stout and his body is boxy. Also his muzzle is slightly shorter than the normal. But what is odd is his folded ears. His fur is a light caramel brown and he has white toes and tail tip. His tail, muzzle, ears, and legs are a darker brown that fades into his base color. His eyes are a golden amber color. Bearpaw is adventurous at times, but really only when others want to. He doesn't really like being alone and can be quite clingy. Despite this fact, he tends to be very straightforward and not like to sugarcoat things, which can set other cats off if they don't like reality. He is very much the voice of reason and has a strange ability to stay calm in most situations. This does not count any time someone sneaks up on him or something amazing happens. He can get pretty angry and grumpy, or excited and vocal, depending on the event. He can be easily persuaded into most anything, as long as it doesn't break the warrior code. Even then, he doesn't put up a fight.
Relations? Na they are gone

(Sorry for the late reply time zones can be a pain,Shapsky and Jayflight would probably wanna find the herbs by themselves to prove to clan their worth and make up for being away so long oh maybe i should make a apprentice.oh and thanks for waiting for me.)
Sharpsky stopped running and walked over to Nightchaser "we had better go back or Dawnstar will never stop yelling" she joked walking back to camp "Hey Dawnstar bet you never thought you'd see us again" Sharpsky mewed she was always playful and feisty she enjoyed having races and rolling down grass hills so she was happy not to be stuck racing Jayflight again and again he always lost and was a sore loser.

Hailfrost's ears perked as she heard Sharpsky's voice, and that would mean that Nightchaser would return too. She couldn't help but feel relieved, and she turned herself around to greet the tom, quietly slipping away from the small group and giving her close friend a gentle nuzzle to the neck. They were friends all their lives and she couldn't help but worry about him like she would a sibling. "I'm glad you're okay." She mewed, "Even if it was some silly outing." She smiled, then turned to face Snowfall, Dawnstar, and the other cats.
Snowfall stiffened as she noticed Sharpsky approaching. "Where were you two?" She meowed, paying no attention to Hailfrost and Nightchaser. "You had us worried."

Nightchaser grinned and quickly bushed his tail on her back. He turned to face Dawnstar and his smiled slowly slid off. He coughed before slowly sitting down.
Dawnstar scowled at Sharpsky with her ears flickering back. The tense leader did not appreciate the she-cat's jokes as of right now. The she-cat tail lashed. "Never thought you would turn up." She said coldly. Her blue eyes flickered to each cat. As she did this, the she-cat could feel herself calming. Now they were getting somewhere, some of the tension melted away. "Snowfall received a messages from StarClan last night. They warned her of an unknown sickness soon to infect the clan. Luckily, they told her of an herb that rests in the mountains." She finished to take a small breath. "I, along with Hailcloud, Cloudface, and Jayflight, will try to retrieve this herb hopefully before the sickness spreads." She looked at Snowfall to explain her part.
Nighchaser snuck a glance at Hailfrost. The Spine was a dangerous place. It was be lying if he wasn't worrying right now. The tom wanted to say something or volunteer to go as well, but Hailfrost's words from last night stopped him. I need to stop worrying as much. Hailfrost is a capable warrior and the rest of the patrol is talented. Dawnstar wouldn't only choose the cats best suited to the task. They will get through.
(Just fyi the patrol is totally flexible for anyone's characters. If they wish to leave, they can. If others wish to go, they usually can be added. Though I would prefer an even amount, it doesn't really matter.)
