"The mountains are a harsh and unforgiving environment. You've done well to arrive here." You look up to meet the gaze of the massive gray tom who stood on the rocks above you. Varying circumstances have led you here to the mountains, and almost immediately upon your arrival, four cats slid forth from the rocks to greet you, as if they had sensed that a newcomer had arrived in their land. You had smelled the scent marks as you had entered the area, almost like a barrier repelling you with unfamiliar smells. However, you had been too tired to care, and you had pressed on.
The tom continued to speak. "This is PeakClan territory. I assumed you detected our scent markers at the border." He mewed, flicking his tail down the rockslide you had just traversed. "Seeing as you crossed into our territory anyway, we must assume you're an intruder. Do you have a reason for doing so?" He asked. Although you were exhausted, you couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity. Territory? Border? You thought. You wondered what kind of organization this group of cats had. "What do you mean by territory?" You asked in response.
At this, another cat, a black tom with russet paws, lets out an impatient hiss. "Eaglestar, it's clear this cat has no idea what a clan is. We should drive them out and be on our way!" He mewed. The gray tom called Eaglestar raised his tail in response, as if to silence the black cat. "It's okay, Cliffclaw." His amber gaze turned back to you. He looked intrigued. "That sounded more like curiosity than a challenge. You don't seem like you're here to steal prey. Would you like to learn more about PeakClan?" He offered, amid mews of surprise from the other cats accompanying him. You are surprised at the offer. You had not expected an offer to join a group of cats here. But then again, you had come here for a new life -- a better life. Perhaps these cats could be a benefit for you, and you could be a benefit for them. Nevertheless, the sound of a community was deeply interesting. Slowly, you nod your head. "Alright. I'll come with you." You reply. Eaglestar's gaze warmed at your reply. "Good." He meowed, before he turned and began to make his way up the slope. Immediately, the other three cats fell into ranks behind him. "Follow us. We'll take you to our camp."
Forum Rules - - Please follow all Forum Rules. You can read the Forum Rules here Literacy - - I'm not asking that you write a novel, but I do expect correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. What I mean by that is dnt tlk lyk dis. It's annoying and hard to understand. When you're not roleplaying, you can use text talk as much as you wish. Just make sure to differentiate OOC chat. Activity - - Please don't join then never come back, you'll be wasting your time and mine. I understand if you're busy and can't come on everyday. I do ask that you try to come on once a week to roleplay. If you don't roleplay for 3 weeks, without prior notice, I'm afraid I will have to delete you. But you can always rejoin. Respect - - My most important rule. Be nice. I hate bullies with a passion. If you are mean to someone you get a strike, 3 strikes and you're out and cannot rejoin. End of story. Kit-Killing/Stealing - - Kit-killing is not allowed by any outside users. It is allowed within the clan only if it is part of a plot that I, and the user roleplaying the kit, allows it. Kit-stealing is not allowed under any circumstances and will be reported. Roleplay - - When you're not roleplaying, use (), [], {}, OOC, or something to help others identify whether or not you're roleplaying. Like I said before, text talk is not allowed during roleplay, but is allowed when you're not roleplaying. Also, keep all roleplay PG/PG-13. Anything beyond that should be taken to PM. Spam - - Do not spam or advertise. Asking someone to come somewhere every now and then is totally fine. Characters & Realism - - No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stues. This is a realistic roleplay, so I want all characters to be realistic. So no perfect characters, please. No cats with powers, wings, or pink fur. Also, try to make the warrior names realistic as well. For example, please don't use the names Dragonclaw or Magicpelt. There is no character limit. You may make as many as you can handle. But if you make 3 or more characters, I ask that you don't make them all the same gender. I'm not going to ask you to make a tom for every she-cat, but I want the gender ratio to be somewhat even. I'm not expecting it to be exactly even but I don't want it to be 1 tom for every 6 she-cats. Also, you cannot start out as a StarClan cat or Dark Forest Cat. If you are going to start out as a queen, you must have a mate and kits/be pregnant or have a backstory on what happened to your mate and why you do not have one at the time of joining. And if you want to make a kit, you should make another cat of another rank, and can only make a kit without a mother if there is an open queen willing to foster a new kit. And since there always tends to be too many apprentices, there should only be one apprentice per every three warriors. Have Fun! - - My second most important rule. I made this roleplay for the enjoyment of myself & others. If you have an idea for a plot to make this roleplay more enjoyable, please tell me. There are no bad plots. I will do my best to try to use that plot.

PeakClan is a Clan that lives in the mountains. These mountains are more low-lying and do not experience as much snowfall, so life is not as difficult as other mountainous regions. However, the abundance of rock and ice is hard on the paws, and prey is difficult to find. While most cats struggle in such an environment, PeakClan cats excel. Moons of traversing the rocky terrain have given them hardened, callused paw pads and lean, powerful leg muscles from leaping from rock to rock. PeakClan cats are also fast, a byproduct of chasing down fleet-footed hares and roadrunners that make the shrubby lowlands of the mountains their homes. PeakClan cats usually have black, brown, gray, and/or white pelts to blend in with the mountain terrain. Golden pelts are rare, and ginger even rarer. Above all, PeakClan cats are loyal and determined, and are persistent in everything they do. Season - - new-leaf [ ]

But things changed when a young tom named Boulder arrived in the moors, before any of the Clans existed. There, he met a beautiful silver tabby she-cat named Ripple. Ripple was alone, and struggling to care for her three kits. Kind at heart, Boulder offered to help her care for them. He had grown weary of his travels and longed to settle down. Time passed, and Boulder and Ripple grew closer, and eventually became mates. Their life was happy, until one day, a gang of foxes invaded the small den they called home. Starved and crazed for blood, the wily foxes hunted them down wherever in the forest they went, and they were eventually forced to escape into the mountains, the one place even the foxes refused to follow. Unfortunately, they had arrived at an unforgiving season, and in the coming leaf-bare, two of Ripple's three kits died. Desperate to protect the remaining kit, Boulder forced himself to adapt to mountain hunting to provide for it, and developed the signature hardened paw pads of PeakClan cats. Thanks to Boulder's resourcefulness, the family survived leaf-bare, and in the following newleaf, Ripple revealed that she was pregnant with her and Boulder's kits. Meanwhile, Ripple's surviving kit, Beetle, was growing older, and Boulder began to train him in hunting in the rough mountain terrain, like a mentor and an apprentice. While they were hunting, they came across a starving cat, who was clearly struggling to hunt in the terrain. Boulder offered to teach his techniques to the tom, allowing him to catch prey much easier. In return, the grateful rogue promised to help Boulder provide for his family. The tom, who was named Flame, began to visit Boulder and Ripple often. They were soon joined by another cat, a young apprentice-aged tom named Sparrow, who also hunted with them.
News spread about the small community of cats that was growing in the mountains, and more and more cats came to join them, eager to learn how to survive in such an unforgiving territory. While he appreciated having extra hands to help, Boulder was unsure how to lead such a large group. To clear his head, he decided to take a walk up the mountain. Almost as if by destiny, his paws carried him farther and farther, until he eventually reached the top of the mountain. When he reached the top, he was shocked by what he saw. Starry cats surrounded him, eyes of starlight glowing in the darkness. A single cat stepped out from the crowd, an elegant she-cat with a pelt full of stars. She told him that his group of cats was destined to become a Clan, and Boulder, their first leader. The peak of the mountain was where he had found his answer. She told him to take on the name 'star', and lead the cats in the ways of the wild. Taking her words to heart, Boulder decided to acknowledge the cats of the stars. He returned to the group, now named Boulderstar, to find that Ripple had given birth to his daughter, a young she-cat. To mark the beginning of the new Clan, as the cats of the Peak, Boulderstar named her Peakkit. He made Flame his second-in-command, who would eventually been known as the deputy, and PeakClan began. Many moons later, the current PeakClan continues to thrive. Peakkit eventually grew into the second leader of the clan, Peakstar, and took Sparrow, then known as Sparrowtail, as her mate. They had two kits, Mousetail and Icewhisker, who are now elders in the Clan. As a warrior, Icewhisker mentored a young cat called Eaglepaw, who is now Eaglestar, the leader of PeakClan.

Territory - - PeakClan lives on a large mountain. The mountain is normally a difficult place to traverse, so it isn't often visited by strangers. There are three layers to the Clan's territories. The mid-mountain territory, where the Clan lives, the lower shrubland, where the Clan often hunts and trains, and the forestland, an alternate source of prey and herbs. The Sky Falls A huge waterfall on the right-facing side of the mountain, away from the camp. The top of the waterfall is near the top of the mountain and is very hard to reach. The waterfall seems to fall out of the sky due to how high up it is, giving it its name. There is a large pool at the bottom, which is used for drinking and soaking moss. The Great Slide Many, many seasons ago, before cats inhabited the mountain, there was a rockslide that tore through the mountain's side. The aftermath of this was a long slope of rocks and boulders. It is extremely difficult for cats to traverse the precarious, jutting rocks like PeakClan cats can, and serves as their main source of frontal camp defense. The abandoned mine shaft where the Clan makes camp lies at the top of the Great Slide, and the shaft was most likely abandoned due to the rockslide. Vulture's Nest The Vulture's Nest is an area near the top of the mountain where a group of vultures make their home. The carrion birds do not bother the cats and vice versa, and the two species live in relative harmony. The cats thin out prey animals that could attack the vulture's hatchlings, such as rats, and the vultures clear out carrion in the mountain that would otherwise spread disease among cats. Despite this, cats usually do not venture too close to the nests, as the vultures are usually mean-tempered and will attack if they sense danger to their young. The Star Peak The point at the top of the mountain is sacred to PeakClan, and they treat it as a place to contact StarClan for the Clan. A massive condor calls the peak its home. The cats greatly respect the bird, and do not disturb it, although new apprentices are taken to meet the bird as a clan tradition. The Lower Shrubs The shrub land near the base of the mountain serve as the most prey rich area and is the most common hunting ground of the Clan. It can also be a source of mountain herbs. There is also a shallow dip that is used for training here. The Forbidden Valley On the back side of the mountain, away from the Clan, is a large valley hidden by dark ferns and undergrowth. Although the fringes of the valley are sometimes used for valuable catmints, PeakClan cats keep well away from it. This is because a bizarre group of crazed rogue cats call the valley their home. The rogues do not bother the Clan, so the Clan leaves them alone, but avoids them all the same. The Alder Forest A piece of forestland on the fringes of PeakClan territory. It is important because it is a valuable source of healing herbs for the Clan. It is also an alternate source of prey, and provides prey that is different from those in the mountains. Camp - - PeakClan makes their camp in an abandoned mine shaft some distance up the mountain. The shaft is a large one with several tunnels to house the various dens. Mine cart tracks crisscross most of the camp, and newcomers to the Clan may lose their footing on the metal rails, although PeakClan cats are very accustomed to walking across them. In the center of a camp is a large, overturned mine cart which the leader uses to address the Clan during meetings. The fresh-kill pile is beside it. Leader's Den The Leader's Den is the tunnel that leads farthest back into the cave. The back of the tunnel was originally going to be excavated, but was eventually blocked by a rockslide, shaping out the perfect natural den. It is slightly raised, and there is a small slope to get up to it. Medicine Cat's Den A tunnel originally meant for storage of supplies, after it was abandoned, several shelves were left behind. Eventually, they collapsed, leaving a network of platforms around the tunnel that are perfect for herb storage. There is a small natural stream that runs just behind the den that serves as a source of drinking water. Warriors' Den The Warriors' Den is on the right side of the cave, facing towards the entrance of the camp. It is a large cavernous tunnel with a rocky outcropping to keep out wind. Apprentices' Den The Apprentices' Den is a tunnel on the left side of the camp. It faces slightly inward, towards the nursery and is smaller, but longer. Although blocked off, it is one of the longer tunnels in the camp, and new apprentices enjoy exploring it. Nursery The Nursery is a cozy cave tucked in between the Medicine Den and Warriors Den. The floor of the Nursery is one of the few places in the shaft with natural grass growing on the floor, and when reinforced with outside moss and feathers, it is the perfect place to raise young kits. Elders' Den The Elder's Den is near the back of the camp on the left side, away from the apprentices. It is well padded with moss to keep the Elders warm and the den quiet.

Leader - - Eaglestar
Eaglestar is a large gray tom with warm amber eyes. He has massive white paws and a white muzzle, and a long tail with a white tail tip. Eaglestar is a benevolent and open-minded cat who is willing to do what is needed to make is clan stronger. He is accepting of outsiders if they can become assets to the Clan, but is not afraid to lead his Clan into battle if need be. As a fairly young leader, he values the advice of the other senior warriors and the medicine cat to guide him.
40 moons
~Skyblaze~ Deputy - - Snowspirit A pure white she-cat with speckles of silver along her back. Her paws and eartips are also silver. She has bright blue eyes. She is loyal, kind, and very caring about her clanmates. She always tries to put her duty before her emotions.
34 moons
Tigerlily Medicine Cat - - Stonefang A thin tom with long legs and a well built structure. Even though he's pretty thin, he does have muscle and has a lot of strength. His appearance may fool many new cats because they think he will be weak, but will realize how nasty he can be at fighting. He has dark blue eyes with light blue around the pupil and black around his eyes. His fur is thick and messy, not being groomed enough by being so busy. The color is dark gray with light gray paws, ears, and stripes running down his tail. A large scratch covers his right eye, but it hasn't blinded him. The two of his canine teeth are long and curves down on top of his lower lip. Stonefang is very observant and a quiet cat to be around. He likes to listen instead of speak up and will only speak his mind if someone asks, or he really needs to in an important situation. He also has an attitude, being snappy at times or sarcastic at other clan mates. This doesn't mean he cares less for them, it's just because he a cranky cat. He loves what he does even though he doesn't show it and whenever he fails, he will close himself off. He has high respect for the leader.
34 moons
Devil Cook Sanji Medicine Cat Apprentice - - Fawnpaw A small she-cat with light brown fur. Her underbelly, muzzle, and the bottom half of her small, short tail are white. The same white flecks are scattered across her pelt. Her nose, inner ears, and pawpads are a rosy pink while her eyes are a vivid green color. She's agile, thin, and has soft fur. Although not necesarily shy, Fawnpaw is gentle and has a soothing voice. She's also incredibly patient - a surprise to many - and has a great memory. The she-cat would never dare hurt a soul. She much rather help her clanmates than spend her time being thirsty for battle. However, despite all this, Fawnpaw is clumsy and gets flustered easily. She tends to be a victim of surprises, too.
9 moons
foxtrots Warriors - - Stormwing The best way to describe Stormwing is big. He has a big frame covered in long, blue-grey fur. He's got paws the size of a small kit and ears that look as if they're capable of hearing a whispered conversation at one end of camp with him sitting at the other. His tail is long enough to ring round himself in a sitting-up position. His clear blue eyes are great at spotting things, liars especially. Inherited from his deceased mother, he shares them with his younger half-brother Ivypaw. The biggest thing about Stormwing is probably his heart. He loves his clanmates, kits being his favorite. He tends to act like one, playful and innocent. But, don't be fooled. He's no idiot.
30 moons
thenovice Cinderstorm Cinderstorm is anything but a pretty she-cat. Her pelt is an ash-brown color, resembling the dark soot of a volcano. Her frame is small compared to her clanmates, most apprentices overtake her in size around 8 moons. Her long fur is fluffy and soft. It has the potential to be glossy and smooth, if she ever bothered to clean it. Bits of dirt like to stick to it, hiding strong muscles. There's a white splash on her chest that touches her shoulders and a bit of her underbelly. The tips of her tail and ears as well as her back right paw are black. Probably her only saving grace is her eyes. A lovely sea green, they tend to darken and lighten with the seasons. Although Cinderstorm does her best to get along with every cat, she doesn't actually have anybody she truly sees as friend. No cat she's comfortable telling all her troubles to. Because of this, she switches between being extremely sociable and retreating as a loner. This most likely off puts any possible friends as they wouldn't know why she's stopped speaking to them.
37 moons
thenovice Flamewhisker Fiery orange and light brown sandy colored tom. He has tabby stripes along his tail and bright amber colored eyes. Flamewhisker is a loyal tom who will always protect his clanmates. He has a few issues with pride and can sometimes be arrogant.
38 moons
Tigerlily Cliffclaw Cliffclaw is a pitch black tom with green eyes. He has bright russet paws and distinctive gray mottles on his flank. Cliffclaw is fairly hot tempered and quick to dismiss outsiders as useless. Although oftentimes abrasive, he genuinely cares about the well-being of the Clan, and does the best he can for his clanmates, in his own way. Although he can often come off as arrogant, it is mainly due to how direct he is in his approach.
28 moons
~Skyblaze~ Cavewhisper A slender, but fluffy she-cat with short legs and small ears. Her eyes are emerald green and her fur is black. Her black pelt is very fluffy everywhere, but can be groomed down to be smooth and flattened. She prefers her fur all over the place to keep herself warm. There's white specks on her muzzle and on her chest area. Even though she has short legs, she can still get around as easily as others, but can struggle more when it's icy out. Her small ears keep it so they don't get as old and can hear better close up, but can have a hard time listening closely when a noise is far away. Even though of her size, she can still fight and hunt pretty well. Cavewhisper got her name from being born in a storm inside the cave and many cats thought she wouldn't make it alive from how harsh the weather was. She has a very motherly tone to her, wanting to help anyone who is in need and will watch over kits if anyone wanted some time out of camp. Whenever someone makes fun of her size, she will try to fight back and prove herself to them. It can hurt at times when cats will think she shouldn't be a part of the clan since her appearance even though she's a pure clan cat.
38 moons
Devil Cook Sanji Skyfall Of a average female height. This she-cat's pelt resembles that of a russian blue, with a long and feathery tail and strikingly blue eyes, seeming like that of the sky, and a scar makes its home just above her nose. While hunting, her built and agile form makes her a formidable opponent. Friendly and outgoing, she is accepting and loves all her clanmates as if they were her family. She's always willing to listen and bend to others preferences, as well as make them content, and she will lay her life down for them. She's also awfully curious, and her eagerness to learn more often earns her trouble. When close to others, she can be sassy and playful, which others may perceive as rude.
38 moons
foxtrots Nightgaze Big and bulky, he's large and seems as if he's impossible to take down. His pelt is similar to Skyfall's, only a bit lighter, and his pelt has more scars than he can count. His muzzle is white and his left ear is nipped, while he has the same icy blue eyes Skyfall has. Though he seems tough, this tom is clumsy and goofy, and he enjoys having fun within camp. Outside, however, he takes on a more serious demeanor, and will strive for his goal until accomplished. He enjoys adventure and bears the same curiosity his sister has, only he knows how to control it.
38 moons
foxtrots Graywind A gray tom with darker gray paws and a white tail tip. He has pale yellow eyes and a slender yet athletic looking build. Greywind is reserved, patient and thoughtful. He tries to be the voice of reason and keep peace within the clan. Greywind has a strong sense of honor and justice. He lets his heart guide him and is willing to give others more than a second chance. He can be a little sensitive at times and easy to fool.
30 moons
Hawky2581 Silverheart A pale gray long haired she-cat with black flecks spotting her pelt. She has a white chest and paws. Silverheart has pale green eyes. Silverheart is hard working and loyal. She tends to be cautious about certain things mainly outsiders. Silverheart dislikes when others whine and complain about little things. She can be honest to a fault and can come across as harsh. She gets annoyed when someone gets offended by something she said and wishes cats had thicker skin.
30 moons
Hawky2581 Dusktalon A dark gray tom with black splotches big and small over his body. He has dark blue eyes and a muscular build. Dusktalon has a small scar on his shoulder and chest. Dusktalon is stubborn and bold. He is more than willing to lead his clan into a battle. He pushes himself to the limit in order to make himself stronger. He is quite protective of his loved ones and his clan. However, reckless and quick to jump into a fight. Often works and trains too hard.
30 moons
Hawky2581 Vulturefeather Vulturefeather is a black and gray mottled Tom with splashes of white mixed in on his back. He had striking yellow eyes and is very muscular, most she-cats would consider him very handsome. Vulturefeather has two white paws and three all slashes going over right eye that most would consider to be a tough look. Vulturefeather acts nice to most cats he comes across, including those in his Clan, but only his friends and true enemies know the monster inside of him. He is extremely ambitious and will go to any length to get what he wants.
30 moons
BlubberyWhales Kitewhisper A white tom with short fur and an unusually long tail. He has dark blue eyes and his nose and pads are dark grey. He has semi-long whiskers and black paws. Kitewhisper is a loyal warrior, determined to do to do his best for the clan. He's a better hunter than he is a fighter and he has deep respect for elders, the leader and medicine cat.
34 moons
Quailfeather Oakcloud Oakcloud has a dark gray color and short-fur. She has a white blotch and her eyes are blue, but with more of a grayish hue to them. She also has an average figure, lithe figure. A stern outspoken she-cat, Oakcloud is not scared to voice her opinion for the better the clan. She is known to always think one step ahead, carefully and tactically planning out the next move. She may be tactless or blunt at times.
29 moons
silverfoxisbae Spottedbelly A broad-shouldered tom with a pure white pelt and large patches of black around his body. Half of his face is splotched black, including one ear. He has bright amber eyes and a gray nose. Spottedbelly is a bright tom who is almost always perky, ready for anything. He is witty and loves to tell a joke. The downside, he can be facetious and is a lovelorn. He is horrible at fighting, which is why his apprentice training took longer than most. For what he lacks in battle skill, he makes up with his specialty in hunting.
32 moons
silverfoxisbae Apprentices - - Ivypaw Ivypaw is a small, long-legged black tom. His pale blue eyes resemble his older half-brother Stormwing's. He has long scars running along his pelt from his Dark Forest training, but he often brushes them off as mere accidents. A good way to describe this apprentice is ambitious. Training in the dark forest every night has Ivypaw's skills honed well and he isn't afraid to use them, often times getting scolded for unsheathing his claws during training. Despite Ivypaw's ambitious nature, he isn't a bad cat per say. He strives to be the best he can be and he truly believes to do that he can't show weakness. And so his face is normally a blank mask, only shifting when in the dark forest or with Stormwing.
8 moons
thenovice Frozenpaw Frozenpaw is a small dappled white and gray tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Her paws are small and gray, and she has a lighter cream colored muzzle. Frozenpaw is excitable and eager to learn. She is bouncy and curious, which more often than not leads to mischief. Despite how much she complains about work, she is capable in training and does her best to put out the effort required of her.
7 moons
~Skyblaze~ Eaglepaw A white tom with gray splotches on his pelt and black paws and a fluffy tail with a black tail-tip. Eaglepaw has green eyes with nicks on his ears. Also, Eaglepaw has a muscular build and an athletic build to make him run and train faster and better. A shy and quiet tom with a great personality. Eaglepaw is sweet and very nice to every cat to the clan. Eaglepaw loves hunting and help others in the clan mostly young ones. Eaglepaw's flaw is that he easily gets distracted when cats are talking to him.
10 moons
JayFeather23 Queens && Kits - - Fernpool Tortoiseshell she-cat with dark amber eyes. She has black paws with a white tail tip and white ear tips. She is a gentle and reserved she-cat. She can be very protective at times, especially when it comes to her kits. Mother of Minnowkit and Hawkkit.
25 moons
Tigerlily
Minnowkit Silver she-cat with dark blue eyes. She has darker silver/grey stripes along her back. She is playful and adventurous. She can get into trouble sometimes because she doesn't often pay attention and is easily distracted.
2 moons
Tigerlily Hawkkit Dark brown tabby tom with dark amber eyes. Along with his black tabby stripes, he also has black paws, ears, and tail tip. He is generally quiet but can be a bit more adventurous and open when around his sister. He is also very kind but it often doesn't show because of his reserved nature.
2 moons
Tigerlily Mistprint A silver she-cat with slick short-fur and bright green eyes. She has small black tufts at the tops of her ears and slightly big paws. Mistprint is a normally optimistic she-cat and is kind, but sometimes stern. She does her best to help with what she can. Mother of Talonkit and Stonekit.
29 moons
Quailfeather Talonkit A lithe white tom with black tabby-point markings and a slightly long tail. He has bright green eyes and little black tufts at the top of his ears. Talonkit is very playful and can be very stubborn. He acts rashly and can be hurtful in what he says.
2 moons
Quailfeather Stonekit A light grey runt with slightly large paws and the smallest hint of tufts at the tops of his ears. He has dark blue eyes with grey tint. Stonekit is very catious in what he does and can be very fearful. He tries to follow the rules best he can, but can be pressured into doing things he doesn't want to do.

Battle Moves - - Back kick Explosive surprise more to catch opponent from Behind. Judge opponents distances from you carefully, then lash out with you back legs, taking the weight on your front paws. Back rake A bit like Belly rake, if your a SkyClan cat this move works best. If your fighting a cat from the front, jump over the cats head and score your claws down their back. Belly rake A fight stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponents belly. If your pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control. Double death bite Seems dishonorable and is only used against very evil cats. A partner and you take on one cat. Once you've got a hold of your opponent, your partner helps hold down enemy cat, and you both bite hard down on enemy cat's throat. Two pairs of jaws will cut off airway and cat will choke to death. Like I said, it's considered dishonorable and would only be used against evil cats like Tigerstar. Dizzy dance Only can be preformed by a extremely small and quick cat against a larger and at least somewhat slower cat. The cat charges head on then swiftly leaped sideways, ducking under the cat then as soon as the cat preforming this attack is out from under the other cat it spins and leaps over it. Then once More spins but rams the side then jumps over/goes under the cat and rams the other side then land one final blow by leaping onto the cat's back and grabbing the scruff with teeth and using your free paws to batter the cat's head. This attack should in the end result in a dizzy or confused enemy. Dizzy tackle A great move for swift young warriors facing older, larger warriors. You run in circles around them at top speed until their to dizzy or tired (if the were chasing you) to keep up. Then you tackle them. While they are down, attack. Caution, standing directly over them makes you vulnerable to the Belly Rake. This is a One-on-one move and is not recommended in a place with many foes. Front paw blow Frontal Attack. Bring your front paws down hard on you opponents head, claws unsheathed. Front paw strike Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed. Killing bite A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. Leap and hold Ideal for a small cat facing a large opponent. Spring onto the opponents back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent paws and in the position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Leap-and-cover Ideal for making your opponent feel much pain, leap onto your opponent's back and put your paws over their eyes. For the moment the opponent is blinded, sink your claws into the soft skin around their eyes. If your opponent doesn't run away, take advantage of their temporary blindness and perform leap-and-hold move. Making sure You never know if a opponent is actually dead. When an opponent goes limp, they become vulnerable, so make sure they are really dead. Bite and slash. Claws unsheathed. When you think they have gone to StarClan, pray and leave. Partner fighting Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the others back while fending off an opponent o either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be whirlwind of danger for attackers. Play dead Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxed his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and you are in the attacking position. Scruff shake Secure a strong teeth grip in the scuff of your opponents neck, then shake violently until he or she is to rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. Tail trip The opponent moves to you and at the right moment, trip them with your tail. Teeth grip Target your opponents extremists- the legs, tail, scuff, or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap and hold, except your claws remain free to fight. Unbalancing act If a cat is going to bring down all its weight on you while rearing on its back legs, role towards your opponents hind legs to unbalance him. Upright lock Final, crushing more on already weakened opponent. Rear up on your back legs and bring full weight on your opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed. Battle Tactics - - Approach from behind your enemy The advantage is gaining the higher ground is that you can charge at greater speed at the enemy, who will be weakened by having to fight uphill. Use the light from the sun The sun should be behind you to dazzle your Use the light from the sun enemy. In green leaf, the midday sun is especially bright and cruel to cats who are used to sulking under the cover of the trees. In leaf bare, the low sun hovers around the eye line like a troublesome bee, keep your enemy from facing it, and they'll have trouble seeing an attacker from any direction. Know were the wind is coming from If there is a strong wind, it should be blow from behind you toward the enemy, blinding them with dust and holding them back like a current of a river. If you wish to preserve the element of surprise, the wind should blow from the enemy position toward you so your scent is carried away from them. Conceal the size of your force The number of cats in your battle patrols can be hidden to confuse the enemy from a distance. Cats packed tightly together will appear as a small attacking force, encouraging the enemy to be over confidant and make poor strategic decisions. Alternatively, is cats are spread out in signal file, they will look like a solid border of warriors, which will seem impenetrable to an advancing enemy. Attack from both ends of the Enemy first If both ends of the enemy line are defeated, the cats in the center of the line will have to fight the two fronts. Even if they are outnumbered, the will be out flanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Keep fresh warriors in reserve Always have adequate reserves of fresh, fit warriors behind the battle line. They will be able to replace injured warriors, launch a separate attack if the enemy tries to encircle your forces, or fend off a surprise enemy from the rear. If the battle is in your favor, finish it by sending your reserve warriors behind the enemy line to surround them and demand surrender. Feigned retreat and ambush A group of strong cats charges at the enemy, screeching, then turns and withdraws. Repeat this until the infuriated enemy finally breaks it's line and gives chase. Then the trap is sprung. Other warriors positioned in rabbit holes and other dips in the ground-out of enemy eyes line- attack as soon as your opponents have gone past. The enemy will be forced to stop and turn around to fight the unexpected threat, as they do the retreating cats must turn and charge back at them with full speed. The enemy is caught between two bodies of attacking cats and will quickly surrender. Water Combat - - Double-Front-Paw Splashes water into the face of the enemy. Underwater Leg Sweep (Front of Hind) The opponent will not see it coming under the water so won’t have a chance to brace himself before losing his balance. Push-Down and Release Almost all non-XeoClan cats panic if they are submerged, while XeoClan cats know how to hold their breath underwater. This move can be used to secure a decisive victory, because it’s most likely to make the opponent surrender. Underwater Clinch Uses warrior’s weight to hold the opponent below the surface, with a firm grip that enables the warrior to bring his enemy spluttering back to the surface before forcing him under again. Tail Splash Temporarily blinds opponent by flicking water in his eyes. Underwater Push-Off Crouching and erupting out of the water into opponents, using surprise and impact to knock him off balance. Sandpaw Splash Using noise of water splashed at a distance to create a decoy, leaving opportunity for a surprise attack. Above-Ground Combat - - The Sky-Crusher Landing with all four feet on top of an opponent, flattening him like a leaf. The Flick-Over Landing with front paws outstretched to sweep the opponent off his feet and roll him onto his back. The Kick Kicking down hard as the warrior nears the ground, then using momentum from landing to spring away before the opponent can retaliate. The Slice Dropping down with claws unsheathed for maximum injury. The Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with front claws and swinging hind legs into the opponent’s face. The Reverse Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with back claws and striking with front legs through the swing. The Trunk Swing Sliding down the trunk and springing off at head height, using hind legs to push off and clear opponents. (Good if tree is surrounded.) The Reverse Climb Climbing backward up the trunk as the opponent advances to gain advantage of height; often followed by Trunk Swing. Surprised? - - Move quietly and communicate using tail-signals. Cracking twigs, startling birds, and rustling bracken will tell the enemy exactly where you are.
Keep downwind of the trespassers so that your scent doesn’t give you away.
Look for freshly broken twigs, overturned leaves on the forest floor, remains of prey, or a clump of fur caught on a bramble. Any animal that moves through the forest leaves behind signs that it’s passed-and signs like this could lead you straight to the invaders.
Keep your mouth open to search for unfamiliar scents. Be careful: If there is scent when there is no breeze to carry it through the forest, it could mean that your enemy is very close by.
Light-colored pelts are easily seen against brown and green foliage, so stay in the thickest cover. Keep low-the enemy will be looking for movement at normal head height, not close to the ground.
Never miss an opportunity to perfect your tracking ability. In the nursery, kits sneak up on their mothers and pounce with their moss-soft paws. Apprentices leap out on one another from behind bushes and tree stumps. These are more than just games. One day, these skills could save your life and defend your Clan.

"You're opponent strikes hard, Ivypaw." A deep voice rumbled. "Which means you must be fast." Ivypaw nodded curtly to his dark forest mentor. "Good. Go again. And this time, I want to see blood." Growling, Ivypaw turned to face his opponent. The scrawny tom was leaning heavily on his left forepaw. No doubt the blow Ivypaw had dealt had left the other damaged. Unsheathing his claws, Ivypaw and the other cat circled, their eyes taking in every movement the other made. Just as he was ready to attack, Ivypaw's form began to fade. Hissing in annoyance, he was sent straight back to his nest in camp. Opening his eyes, he prepared to snap at the cat who dared to wake him until he saw it was Stormwing. "Great Starclan, Ivypaw. You sleep like the dead. Get on up or you'll miss out on some valuable training." Stormwing's voice was calm and gentle, incredibly different from Ivypaw's DF training companions. But he took comfort from both. As the larger tom slid out of the apprentice's den, Ivypaw rose and stretched, feeling his bones crack. He followed after, blinking his eyes against the sun.

Fawnpaw rose from her nest, her paws itching to learn something new. She could see the sunlight seep into the camp, and she smiled. Herbs! She was desperate to know more. She already felt like she knew so much, but her training had just barely gotten started. With a sigh, the she-cat headed towards rhe medicine cat's den, waiting for her mentor. "Good morning!" She chirped, excited to learn more, her voice soft and gentle.
---
Skyfall rose from her nest beside her brother's, the two simultaneously trotting out and into the center of the camp. Skyfall couldn't help but feed her growling stomach, picking a plump bird from the pile to share with Nightgaze. The tom purred and nuzzled his sister, letting her begin to eat before he followed.

[Patrol.....?] Cinderstorm woke and stretched wide. She stayed laying down for a bit before finally rolling onto her paws and getting up. She slipped out the entrance to the warrior's den. Once outside, she gave her pelt a hard shake; the most cleaning it would get for the day. The only time she really bothered with it was if something was poking her side. Glancing around, she wondered if Eaglestar would lead a patrol.
