Skyfall stretched in place, claws digging softly into the ground underneath, or at least, whatever pierceable. With perked ears, she looked around, scanning the camp for signs of waking cats. "Morning, Cinderstorm." She mewed, Nightgaze only nodding to greet the other warrior. In silence, the two continued to eat their first meal, which they had finished within moments of having spoken. Skyfall then nuzzled her brother before watching him head out of camp, perhaps to lay by the entrance and sunbathe, who knew. It was a rare occasion where they'd be separated, but they often needed space for their own. Her eyes again searched, hoping to strike a conversation with another cat.

Silverheart was down in the forest hunting. She managed to catch a couple of mice and was looking for something else to catch. Silverheart slowly moved towards a bird but the bird flew away before she had a chance to pounce.
Greywind lets out a small yawn as he pads out of the warriors den. He shakes his fur and settles down to groom himself.
Dusktalon paces back and forth. He wanted something to do besides just staying in camp. At this point he was for anything.

Fawnpaw rose from her nest, her paws itching to learn something new. She could see the sunlight seep into the camp, and she smiled. Herbs! She was desperate to know more. She already felt like she knew so much, but her training had just barely gotten started. With a sigh, the she-cat headed towards rhe medicine cat's den, waiting for her mentor. "Good morning!" She chirped, excited to learn more, her voice soft and gentle. When no one had answered, she sighed, assuming that her mentor was either asleep, out of camp, or busy. Turning around, the she-cat headed back towards the apprentice den, a small bounce to her step.

Skyfall rose from her nest beside her brother's, the two simultaneously trotting out and into the center of the camp. Skyfall couldn't help but feed her growling stomach, picking a plump bird from the pile to share with Nightgaze. The tom purred and nuzzled his sister, letting her begin to eat before he followed. He soon left her once he had finished eating, heading out of camp to sunbathe, perhaps. Skyfall didn't mind it. The siblings often sought to have time on her own, and Skyfall was grateful that he respected that.
The grey-blue she-cat turned her head to look around the camp. She knew nothing much was going on - it was still kind of early - but she knew that there had to be patrols sent out soon. Her blue eyes settled on the warrior's den, watching the medicine cat apprentice trot back towards the apprentice's den, and as their gazes met, Skyfall only nodded in greeting, to which the apprentice did the same.

๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฝEaglepaw's brilliant green eyes awoke in an instant as he had the sunlight beam at his eyes and with Fawnpaw mewing very loudly. The tom got put of his nest and saw Fawnpaw entering the apprentice den. "Good morning to you Fawnpaw.", mewed the tired tom.

She seemed startled at the tom's voice, not expecting him to be awake, but she knew most should be rising soon. Besides, sleeping in often earned most apprentices a scolding from their mentors. "Hello!" She mewed, her voice gentle and joyful, as it usually was. "How are you? How has training been?" She questioned. The she-cat was eager to speak to someone else, and maybe forge a new friendship.

Talonkit blinked open his eyes and pulled himself to his paws, shaking out his white pelt. The black tabbypoint markings stood out against his white fur and he watched as Minnowkit, Hawkkit and Fernpool left the den. He turned to Mistprint who was now waking, his bright green eyes stubborn and determined. "Let me explore the clearing." He demanded. His mother gave him a stern look. "You shouldn't talk like that." Then she added, "You're both still too young." "You're only saying that because you're afraid Stonekit won't be able to handle it." Talonkit countered, digging his claws in and out of the soft moss.
Stonekit open his sleep-heavy eyes, sluggishly pulling himself into a sitting position. "Did someone say my name?" He asked, ending with a small yawn. "You'll both be aloud in the clearing today, but you both must promise to stay in my sight." His mother told them. Talonkit looked extremely excited, but Stonekit was more reluctant and hesitant than his brother. What if there was an eagle, or a bear or a badger or a snake? What if one of the Warriors scolded him for doing nothing? He was prompted toward the entrance by a nudge from his mother and reluctantly followed Talonkit out of the nursery for their first time, his small body low to the ground and alert.

Fawnpaw looked out of the den, her tail flicking in what seemed like more excitement, although she tried to keep it contained. She bounded out of the den, but halted, noticing that Fernpool was out there with the kits. Fawnpaw wasn't much older than the kits, perhaps just a few moons, but she was also excited to meet them. Maybe they'd join her in the apprentice den soon! She flicked her tail and grinned, "Hi, Minnowkit and Hawkkit!" She paused, nodding towards Fernpool. "Hi, Fernpool." She mewed, keepng her distance, not wanting to invade their space.

At the silence, the she-cat decided to head back into the den. Turning back to her fellow clanmate, she nodded in agreement, knowing what that felt like. Her ears perked, short tail curling around her small paws. "Err, the same here. I mean... I know a few herbs, but not much to save a whole clan.. Besides, Stonefang kind of intimidates me." She meowed, turning her head away and looking out of the den, towards the clearing. There wasn't much to do, and she wanted to venture out of camp in search of herbs.

Eaglepaw watched her and wondered how it felt like to be a medicine cat apprentice. "Oh may I accompany you Fawnpaw?", offered the apprentice to his friend nicely. Hawkpaw stayed behind before she replied to him.

"I wouldn't mind, but... I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to. I'm not great at protecting myself, if anything of the such were to happen..." She trailed off, but her voice was smooth even so. She sighed. "I guess we can go. But the Alder Forest is kind of far, I know that's where most good healing herbs are... But the base of the mountain has some herbs, although limited..." She almost seemed as if she was speaking to herself, but she gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "I think going down to the Lower Shrubs would be much safer." A pause came from her, as if unsure if she'd be willing to make such a dangerous journey, even if accompanied by another cat. But he was an apprentice! It was dangerous. "M-maybe we can ask Nightgaze to come with us? Or another warrior? I just want to be careful is all."

"Should be outside of camp. I know he likes to sunbathe by some rocks." She meowed, "Let's go find him and head off." She waited for him to finish before trotting out of the den and then the camp, stepping onto the soft, fresh earth and smelling the air for the familiar scent. She soon found it. Nightgaze had been settled on a jagged rock by the entrance of the camp, not too far away, and it wasn't hard to spot his massive frame.
"Hello, Nightgaze!" The she-cat mewed, to which the tom replied in a startled manner. "O-oh, hey," he said, "And hello Eaglepaw." He added on, tilting his head. "Why are you two out of camp? Shouldn't your mentors be with you?" He questioned, concerned; he didn't want them running off and getting hurt. Especially in such a difficult terrain to maneuver; they were only apprentices! They wouldn't be able to find an easy way down. They hardly knew the territory well enough. To his surprise, however, Fawnpaw spoke up at the sight of his concerned facial features. "We wanted you to accompany us, just in case. I wanted to go search for herbs by the Alder Forest if that was okay, or the Lower Shrubs if that'd be easier! Eaglepaw wanted to come with me, too. To watch over us, at least." She asked, and the tom stiffened, unsure.

๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฝFollowing Fawnpaw to where Nightclaw was at, he found him bathing in the sun like what Fawnpaw had mentioned about him to him. Eaglepaw's ears perked up hearimng Nightclaw greeting him since he was distracted with hearing the birds cheep quietly around them. "Uh, um, hey Nightclaw.", stuttered the apprentice to the black tom. Hopefully he says yes, thought Eaglepaw in his mind. Eaglepaw sat down next to Fawnpaw tired of wlaking and standing a bit.

To her surprise, the tom nodded. He grunted and rose to his paws, beginning to trot ahead of them. Fawnpaw let a grin spread across her face, and she followed, the same bounce to her step evident as she walked. It wasn't too far, and she could make out the location they'd be heading to: the lower shrubs. An obvious choice; why would Nightgaze want to take them so far out? He wasn't entrusted with their safety, as off as that seemed, their mentors were supposed to watch over them. "Here we are. I'm going to hunt, I'll meet you two here. Don't take too long." He said, flicking his tail. He bounded off, but she knew he was nearby, his blue-grey fur eventually becoming hidden with the flora nearby.
"Okay... So let's find herbs." Fawnpaw meowed, looking around. She only knew few herbs, and the ones she was aware of, she knew their scent, almost lke the back of her paw. Her eyes soon met with a yellow-budded plant: tansy. She knew that it aided in reducing coughs and for poisons, but shouldn't be used in high doses. Carefully, she tilted her head, gently nipping it off the ground. A few more lay nearby, and she did the same, glancing back at her clanmate, as if asking for help.

Eaglepaw asked Fawnpaw,"So what herbs do I look for by the way Fawnpaw?" Eaglepaw saw plants around him. Eaglepaw then saw her face as if she needed help. He went quickly helping her.

"Just these for now. Not too much, just what you'd be able to carry back." She said, setting them on a pile near Eaglepaw. "Maybe a few sticks too, just in case. Those help with bones and kitting queens." She quickly noticed similar-looking flowers nearby of a white color, quickly sniffing it. It took a moment, but she realized it was yarrow, the plant that helped cats vomit toxins out. She took a few, unsure if her mentor had some of the herbs in the den. "Mind getting some cobwebs when you're done?" She asked as she trotted back over to her clanmate with a mouth full of yarrow, setting it by the few stalks of tansy they had gathered.
Again, the she-cat turned, her eyes scanning the surroundings before she began to walk. Her nose was hit with the scent of prey, and she also noticed Nightgaze was nearby, but she quickly brought herself back to her task. It took a moment, but her nose caught the familiar scent of borage leaves. It took a few seconds of searching where the scent came from, but she quickly was able to identify the star-shaped flowers lying near the base of a rock. Gently, she picked a few, quickly returning to Eaglepaw, sensing that Nightgaze was nearing them as well.
