Smokesplash looked at Sootsplash and stopped, rolling his eyes. "What?" Sootsplash asked. "You're lucky she hasn't followed us to make sure we follow up on the favor" Smokesplash said as though a bit annoyed. "Look, she forgot about it and that's what flattery's for." Sootsplash rolled his eyes. "But now we have to waste our time on herbs you mousebrain!" Smokesplash exclaimed. "Listen we got the glow worms, just forget about it" Sootsplash hissed, continuing forward. Thistlewillow began to hum a tiny little song to herself, as she bounded into the forest. She was going straight into the depths, closing her eyes and using her nose as a challenge to maneuver herself through the forest. "Rock on the left... Ooh, gray squirrel family. I'll let the warriors know." |

Shadowfur sniffed, looking around, he wondered if he could convince anyone to spar with him, other than his brother who he could scent coming up the Ivy wall behind him. The tabby tom walked away from the wall, glanced at the small fresh-kill pile, shrugged and headed to his Den corner to socialize.

Darkheart and Blackdawn walked around, talking together. They were going to go to their sperate den corners, but they wanted to chat for a little bit first.

Shadowfur heard a thunk behind him and made a duck for the safety of his den when he almost ran into Blackdawn. Riverpaw looked around, wondering where his brother had gotten too.

Blackdawn gave a bit of a start when a cat ran into her. She noticed it was Shadowfur.
"Sorry, I didn't see you." She apologized, shaking her fur.

Shadowfur went to make a comment, then noticed Darkheart.
"Yeah, sorry, guess I wasn't paying attention," He said, then let out a yowl as he was tackled by another cat.

"Riverpaw get off me!" Shadowfur yowled, batting at his brothers face as the other tom tried to pin his larger brother.

"Don't you have somethign you should be doing??" Shadowfur exclaimed as he finally threw his brother off. Riverpaw landed easily.
"Nope! Den leader said I was free for the day, as long as I stay out of trouble," Riverpaw said, he looked up at Blackdawn and Darkheart.
"Hello!!"

Darkheart gave a silent nod. Blackdawn twitched her tail.
"Hello." She replied to the younger cat. She wondered what house he would be sorted into or had been sorted into. She always liked additions to the Lion Den.
(Dime and I discussed Blackdawn becoming leader of Lion Dan possibly.)

(he was sorted into Lion den btw, Riverpaw and Shadowfur are the same ages, Shadowfur just passed the test and Riverpaw hasn't yet.)
Riverpaw grinned at them before rearing up on his hindlegs and batting at Shadowfur who easily headbutted him in the stomach, causing his brother to fall over.

After hiding their glow worms well in the castle, Smokesplash and Sootsplash set about wandering around and whispering of their plans for their newly gained ingrediants. They glanced up as they passed by Riverpaw, Shadwfur, Darkheart, and Blackdawn. Sidestepping out of the way as Riverpaw fell down they grinned a bit and put their heads back together, going back into their deep conversation.

Darkheart glanced at the brother, he wasn't even going to ask them what they were up to. Blackdawn nodded in a small greeting, knowing the pair liked to make trouble.

Riverpaw purred in amusement as his brother tried to tackle him, he just ran around Blackdawn and Darkheart, evading the other tom. Finally Shadowfur gave up.
"Fine. Enough, I don't care," he said. looking at Blackdawn and Darkheart.
"I apologize for my brother."

Sootsplash and Smokesplash continued on, passing by the medicine cat's den they noticed Thistlewillow was gone. Smokesplash glanced at Sootsplash and shrugged,
"Probably left to get herbs" He said lighly. Sootsplash frowned,
"She left awhile again, she would've been back by now" He said lightly. Smokesplash sighed,
"That means it's our job to find her doesn't it?" Smokesplash said with a roll of his eyes, but he didn't object to the idea. Sootsplash sighed, but nodded.
"Yes, we need to find her, but while we look, make up a good excuse for it will you? It doesn't need to get out that we go around rescuing lost cats for a hobbby" Sootsplash said, turning and heading outside. Smokesplash nodded and followed.

Darkheart bristled at the younger cat running around him. He was always weary of things. Blackdawn flicked her tail dismissively.
"He's fine. I'm glad he's not sitting around like other cats." She said.

Sootsplash and Smokesplash followed after Thistlewillow's scent. As the forest began to grow darker they glanced a bit nervously at each other. Finally Smokesplash lit himself up, a very soft light and just enough to see a few tail lengths in front of them. Smokesplash sighed and looked at Sootsplash,
"I know you don't mind the dark, but it's creeping me out" He mumbled. Sootsplash grinned in reply and continued forward. Sootsplash looked up suddenly,
"Hey we're getting close, her scent is stronger now" Sootsplash meowed softly and started forward at a faster pace, Smokesplash trailing behind, obviously much slower.

Once Thistlewillow walked further, she noticed a large number of cobwebs and, excitedly beginning to gather them, didn't notice the spider coming close. When she turned around, a loud yowl, followed by a hiss, escaped her as she quickly stepped back.
The spider didn't seem too happy of someone encroaching its territory.
"Reculer!! (Step back!!)"

Sootsplash and Smokesplash leapt toward the hiss. They reached Thislewillow in time to see the spider and leapt in between the she-cat and the spider. Hissing loudly they both puffed out their fur, snarling at the spider.
"Get back!" They both snarled together, baring their teeth at the spider.
