Hello! I have returned from my time away! This moon I think I'm going to try and catch up on everything that has happened when I was away and should be ready to get something up next moon.

what great little scenes! I'll get Frozenlaurel's stuff up later tonight, probably. Though it might have to be in the morning depending on some irl stuff going on. Everything should be fine, but worst case I might not be able to do much until the morning. (;

They are all so cute man! :'D I love all the characters here and reading all their interactions so much. I'm gonna have fun with Petal being the opposite of Thrush in terms of personality. Have one outgoing little fluffball and a little shy bean~ we'll see if she ends up more bloodthirsty but for now I figured her family needed a little light haha

I didn't even think about that! Thrush and Petal are def opposites. That'll be an interesting writing adventure. I'm really excited to see what the dynamic will be like between Hop and all of the kits and all of the kits with each other, definitely an exciting chapter for YewClan

Brownie is Frozenlaurel's rogue name Frozen or Laurel? hmmmmm Maybe neither? Or perhaps his birth name, the one his mother called him, was Laurel but he made himself a "street name" that he typically went by. Perhaps his harsher sounding name was something like Ice or Sleet and he wanted to keep that part of his identity too, along with bringing back the name his mother gave him now that he was in a place that would appreciate a plant name? tbh now I kinda want to write a little short of him meeting the Clan and picking a name. Because I didn't claim him until like, a year after he joined :( |

Hey there. Unfortunately I don't have enough writing fuel in me to get my responses up this moon. Tomorrow I'll be a little busy with my family, roughly about the same time when the moon is updated. I should be back rather quickly after we in errands and such. okay! I'm running the moon now (YewClan first, in case I only have time for one) but I'm probably not going to be around when I typically drop the moons (I'm having a picnic with my grandma!) and since it looks like yall want more time than less, instead of posting before I leave, I'll put it up when I get back (maybe around 4-6 est).
so yall have 5ish more hours to finish up some replies.
Also quick reminder that it's helpful to try and get through the content of the interaction in a single call-response; I know the moons can go quick, and these longer scenes are absolutely epic when people have time to put some icing on top the scene, but I don't want to feel like the moon days are cutting off content either ;-;

slight spoilers for the coming moon but yall run into a cat lingering on the borders this moon, and look how similar he genned to Saffron  I had the patrol (Heavy, Hayfeather, Thrushfleck) run into Saffron in the text because that's more drama, but yall really have two options: either keep it saffron and pretend this dude doesn't exist, or yall can choose to meet Hopper instead. Perhaps Saffron's brother? Father? why is his name so similar to Hop's? Yall's choice! Hazelpelt also is seen talking with a kittypet, so that can be Hopper too if you guys choose. Just giving yall this a bit early, so you can have time to discuss and plan while I'm out of the house ^^ |

omg enjoy your picnic! but i think him being Saffron's brother/father would be neat, cuz they do look really similar. it is funny that Hopbramble and Hopper's names are so close, i don't know if i have an explanation for that one beyond coincidence. do we know how old Hopper is? That could tell us if he's more likely Saffron's father or brother

lemonshortbread I did enjoy the picnic! It was a wonderful day out and we had a nice walk afterwards. There were TONS of dragonflies out and it's always a nice time when I can enjoy watching them without the pressure of having to catalogue them all to species haha and yalls longer scenes are adorable!! I am NOT asking yall to stop them haha if you have time, go for it! I'm just a little upset at the way I worded Frozenlaurel's pip with Hazelpelt; if I framed it differently, we might have managed to finish the scene :V Moon's up! I'm getting the front page updated with the kits right now~ There's still three kits left + Oatpaw*. anyone is free to claim anything that's open if ya have a slot! also hopbramble's thought bubble???? HELLO??? girl wants to murder already???

omg Hopbramble "daydreams about killing a cat from her past" and "sharpening her claws on Spottedfur's sunning rock" "hisses at Foxpaw" miss GIRL miss MA'AM let's cool our jets. but i'm so excited to write her scenes heheheheheh also, i kinda like that Saffron ended up showing up instead of Hopper. i have lore...but to be revealed in time  i am excited for a scene with heavy and hop Feathertalon, that'll be really interesting since Heavy seems to be a pretty insightful lady |
