Yes it is fine to use Whorldusk. 😊 Just remember that he is heavily grieving his father’s death at the time and he is VERY insecure/grumpy! Keep his lines in-character for who he is at moment please 🙏 Thanks. He was very broken then… 😢

Whew! Back! And yeah! I'd love to share about my fieldwork! 

So I'm a graduate student in my second year of studying for my Master's, and I absolutely love working with topics that revolve around wildlife damage and human-wildlife conflict. Currently, my research is looking into how to use drones and raptors as tools for blackbird damage mitigation to sunflower crops. So it's absolutely atypical timing, but perfect timing for what we're doing! During the summer, blackbirds are typically more solitary, and spend their time breeding and defending territories. In fall though, they molt, flock up, and begin to prepare for migration. Molting and flying across the country are pretty energy-demanding life events of course, but where I'm at in the Dakotas, there also just happens to be a lot of food to fuel those events, and that comes in the form of sunflower seeds. As much as blackbirds are a pretty charismatic group of species, the fact that they can decimate entire yields for farmers can also make them a pest, and so my goal is to help find ways to sustainably help control the damage they cause to crops. More specifically, I am looking into how blackbirds respond to 75 minutes of being pushed around and bothered by a drone, if raptors like to hang around sunflower fields with blackbirds, and how blackbird flocks respond to the presence of raptors (:

i do have ideas, i don't want to get too specific with it in case someone does want to rp him. but i would imagine (unless he ends up being a serial killer or somethin) that him and saffron were always close and while he never liked the violence, he felt like he couldn't leave his brother so he ended up being one of (or maybe the only, idk) of the rogues' healers. saffron kinda let him do as he pleased. as for why he ended up going to YewClan, in saffron's anger and desperation to get his kits, he's been acting out at everyone including flax so he fled. for anyone that ends up taking over him, ofc they can change this, but i know with the thickening of the plot™ some details are necessary lol
