(Oooh I am ITCHING to yoink a cat from PlumClan ahhh it'll be so fun to RP with a neighboring clan! First couple of Dappleswipe prompts will be up tonight, then I'll hop over to PlumClan! I did skim over the territory and rules but I'll give them a closer read later so I can work on a form~)

Pondspeckle  Wolverine hunting ( Sand , Dew , Feathertalon ) Pondspeckle closed his eyes and took a breath of the fresh air. He was grateful. Grateful he had come to the Clan, grateful for all the cats around him, grateful he made it this far. He was finally a warrior, a full member of the Clan. He felt bad for Haypaw, though, who was still an apprentice. He knew she would become an apprentice next moon – she had to. He wondered what her warrior name would be. Hopefully it would be a good one. He knew how hard she had trained to make up for her injury, and she deserved to have been made a warrior this moon, so they could have graduated together. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Heavy’s voice. He admired the older cat, how she was ready to avenge her daughter’s death. “Good idea.” Pondspeckle replied, and started off towards where Heavy had motioned for him to go. He didn’t know how to feel about the fact that his first task as a warrior was to avenge a death. What even was a wolverine? He didn't even know what one looked like. Last moon he learned what a porcupine was, and now he'd be learning what a wolverine was. Yay? He learned that a wolverine was sorta like a badger, but a bit less dangerous (still very dangerous!). So... great. They'd be possibly fighhting off a wolverine. But the wolverine hopefully wouldn't take anymore lives, and that's what matters.

Dappleswipe
Training with Haypaw
Dappleswipe aimed a low strike at her apprentice’s front legs, claws sheathed. Haypaw hardly time to react from the blow, and the mentor quickly slunk behind her before rearing up on her hind legs and delivering a vicious scratch to the silver tabby's shoulders.
Once she came back on all fours, Dappleswipe tilted her head, bewildered. Normally Haypaw was a lot more sure-footed while sparring. Not to mention she was suspiciously quiet too. Perhaps she was feeling dejected with Pondspeckle gaining their warrior name first. The deputy flicked her ears, inviting the younger she-cat to sit down beside her.
The tortoiseshell tried to choose her words carefully to not make the situation seem like too big of a deal. The last thing her apprentice needed was to think that Dappleswipe implied that her lackluster training would result in further setback. “Haypaw, I notice you’re not feeling the greatest this morning. What's on your mind?”

ooc; phew, feel like i'm finally getting the groove of these guys again! excited to see plumclan, i might see about picking up a kitty depending on how it goes! HAZELPELT - Gathering herbs with Shadepatch! Brightleaf's death had shook the clan, or well- shook her. Hazelpelt still wasn't used to the harsh, often abrupt way illness and death ripped across the forest. She was still in disbelief that it had happened at all. Brightleaf had been just fine before that! Where could all that life have gone so suddenly? Hazel wasn't sure she believed in Starclan, but it seemed a nice idea. She had more tact than to say so to Heavy, but she hoped Brightleaf's...energy? Spirit? Found its way up above to join the many other stars within what Yewclan referred to as the "silverpelt." It didn't seem lonely, at the very least. Wasn't that all a cat could hope for? That was all to say that she felt strange about going on a proper patrol so soon after the incident. She had learnt sometime after, that the beast that'd so indiscriminately killed was called a wolverine. Hazelpelt would never forget that stench as long as she lived. It clung to some of the edges of the territory, and a sharp pang of fear (that she truly had no claim too) would zip along her pelt each time she caught the fading remnants of it. How Heavy kept going out there... Herb gathering though, was perfect! Shadepatch was a newer addition to the clan, but she seemed nice enough. When she'd overheard the newly named medicine cat was looking for a warrior escort; Hazel had been quick to snap up the opportunity. Their gathering route led them away from the areas the wolverine had last been spotted, much to her quiet relief. Not that it seemed to soothe the other molly any- it felt like Hazelpelt could touch the nervous energy radiating off Shadepatch's tortoiseshell frame. Maybe a bit of conversation would help? It always helped her a little, at least. Hazel sped up to match the other's pace, tilting her head with a small smile, " So what were we looking for again?" |

Wait... how come, this moon, Dappleswipe and Heavy BOTH saw a PlumClan cat? ... Coincidence...? A little bit. It doesnt make logical sense for YewClan cats to regualarly interact with humans and they don't border any human settlements, so when the prompts are "sees a twoleg kit playing with a dog!" Or "sees a kittypet in their garden" i roll a wheel and make it some other Clan or outsider or smth that would be more realistic flavor. And if two cats have the same unedited prompt, thet get the same edited one. Im pretty sure the one they got was "saw kittypet with strange colored moss-balls". Which got randomized to PlumClan. There's still a small chance it stays a human or kittypet sighting, but less common. Also that there arent any thoughts regarding other Clans (maybe one... a "wonders what it's like to be a xClan warrior" i think i saw that once) and I think there should be more of that ]] |

Shadepatch was a bit nervous about leading her first herb gathering patrol, and even with a patrol out hunting the wolverine, Shadepatch was still a bit nervous about wolverines. She dismissed it in her head, saying she shouldn't be nervous about every bad thing that could happen.Shadepatch glanced up at the sky. Silverpelt wasn't visible yet, but Shadepatch still hoped that Brightleaf had made it to Starclan. She looked forward again, waiting for Hazelpelt's reply.Shadepaw - Sharing prey with Cinderpaw (lemonshortbread )Shadepaw walked out of the medicine den, looking around at the camp, before heading to the fresh-kill pile. She grabbed a rabbit, starting to head back to the medicine den to eat it there, before noticing that Cinderpaw was sitting alone by the edge of the camp. Shadepaw decided to head over to Cinderpaw, hoping to share her squirrel with them. Once She got there, Shadepaw sat a bit beside Cinderpaw, "Would you like to share this squirrel with me?" Shadepaw asked her fellow apprentice.

Description
Mistleheart is a long-furred white and gray ticked she-cat with yellow eyes. She was found abandoned in YewClan's territory after her mother unfortunately passed away. She is bossy towards other cats, often boasting how she will be the greatest warrior that YewClan has ever seen. She also loves to tell stories to the other cats, adventures she had after sneaking out of the nursery.

As for Shade- the confession can go just about any way you want. Butterflies in the stomach and nervousness and what not being common. I am on the ace spectrum myself, though I am VERY much a romantic person so I at least got you on that front o7. Maybe its an accidental slip of the tongue if you wanted- a sort of blurting out how she feels in the moment if you think thats her drift. If not, pulling him aside and having that heartfelt I think I'm in love with you! talk and just praying to starclan she isn't rejected. It really depends on the personality you want developed for her! Would she be the type to hide it until it accidentally comes out? Does she just want to rip the bandaid off and see if he feels the same? That sort of thing. |

Thrushfleck marched right up to Dappleswipe upon the evening and setting sun. Catching the deputy on one of her rare.. moments off to speak before everyone had to depart for the night. The ginger and cream tom giggling to himself as gently batted at her ear to get her attention before settling on his haunches. " How did training with Haypaw go? Also uh, thanks for giving me Cinderpaw. I think I really needed that. " he murmured for a moment. His gaze becoming distant for the briefest of moments as the lives recently lost flashed before his eyes. He.. needed the distraction, and despite it all, things finally seemed to be looking up for him. " The gathering though.. it went well despite Burdockclan stinking up the place. " he laughed, doing his best to ease the growing tension with a simple joke. " Do you think thats why they named themselves after herbs? Cause herbs are so.. smelly? At least we got something respectable like trees. I can't blame Shadepatch for getting out there while she could! " his gaze briefly drifted towards the medicine den. Something flickering beneath his gaze, a sort of fondness that hadn't been seen in the clan for a few moons. " Though I gotta say, Yewclan and Burdockclan's scent together.. sure is something else. " |
