Amberleaf had walked back to camp. She couldn't believe a panther was in their territory. Elders had talked about meeting them but she had never seen one.

Mintpaw glanced around and headed up to Bloodystar "Bloodystar? How.. How bad is a panther?" he asked his mentor hesitantly. He didn't want to know if it was worse than a badger but he had to know if he was going to be a warrior.

" They are dangerous and need multiple cats to defeat them. I shouldn't even say defeat. We would be lucky to drive it out of Leafclan territory " She gave a serious gaze.

"One warrior should take the apprentices back to camp. Once the camp is alerted that warrior could bring back as many warriors as possible that aren't needed to defend the camp," meowed Foxleaf respectfully towards Bloodystar.

"I will alert them " Bloodystar bounced up to the top of the burnt cloud birch." All those members of leafclanplease gathere. Unfortunately there is what we think is panther scent. As you heard in kit tales from the elders. Now I want a warrior in EEvery den. Snowtiger please stay in the elders den. Amberleaf please say in the medicine cat den. RRavenstep please stay in the nursery. Sorry for the noises and smells everone. If you have any questions please ask me." She begins to get down. Lostfang yowls " what about the apprentices den!" Bloodystar nods " that would be me. I think they will be excited to have me."

Twinkleshine nodded, and she had to say she was quite worried herself. She had never seen a panther before, and she knew that they were dangerous. She tried to think of reassuring words, but couldn't find any, so she simply said, trying to say it in a calmt one "Yes, it would appear so."

"Will it attack us?" The scared apprentice asked, her ears flat against her head. "Should the clan fight it or leave it alone? What will happen? What if if comes closer?" She blurted, pausing to take a breath and reflect on her questions.

I'm not really the best cat to ask, since I don't know much about panthers" Twinkleshine started patiently,"But I think that it would attack us if it knew where to find us. I think the clan should fight it if it gets too close to camp, or if a cat is wounded or...killed by it. Though, the choice is Bloodystar's to make, so if you want more certain answers, you might have to ask the leader, possibly deputy."

"Okay." Quickpaw replied, the fur lying flat on her spine. "I think it's best to leave it at that now, because who knows, the panther might just walk away or something."" She added with a small smile. "Then we would be making all this fuss for nothing."

Whiteleaf waved her tail and called out, hoping to be heard. "Should we evacuate the camp to a safer place? Maybe one of the other clans can help us." She asked Bloodystar. "Wouldn't it be safer than leaving everyone else here?"

Amberlea padded out to where Whiteleaf was standing before she started speaking " Maybe we should move to the Wingclan camp ? Its much easier than moving to Battleclans camp. Shouldnt we lead a border patrol to seek for help ? " She said with curiosity in her tone.
