Snowstorn looked like she caught a scent on the wind as she crouched down, skillfully stalking off into the underbrush. Ravenstep felt his whiskers twitch in amusement as he watched his sister head off. "She's either causing trouble or she caught a scent.." he mumbled quietly as if talking to himself before glancing at the tom next to him "We're here by the way"

Foxleaf looked amused by her apprentice but quickly got serious. "You'll soon learn their scent. It is not pleasant amd we want to make sure NightClan sticks to their side of the border.

Ravenstep soon caugh his own scent on the wind and dropped off in his crouch, moving to capture his own prey.

Snowtiger scented a vole up ahead a crouched down and began to stalk it. Spotting the vole, he slowed down before pouncing and giving it a bite. Burrying the vole he looked around for more prey.

Amberleaf headed out of camp to go hunting. Before she was going to leap for a squirrel. She smelled an awful scent of badger. " I must report this to Bloodystar " She ran off back to camp. " Bloodystar ! Bloodystar ! " she yowled.

"Ok i will send a patrol around to track it off our territory." Bloodysnow says nodding "Amberleaf, snowstorm Lightningclaw, spiderflight Stormpaw aspenpaw and Mintpaw, you all head down to the border. Track it and scare it away. Apprentices stay back and watch."

Amberleaf led the patrol to where she had found the scent. It was a small clearing near the river. She smelled the scent again. " This isnt badger ... Does anyone know this scent ? " She asked the patrol

As the two cats padded towards the BattleClan border Foxleaf picked up the sounds of their clanmates. "I wonder what's going," Foxleaf meowed quietly. She motioned with her tale for Foxpaw to follow her slowly as she cautiously approached the noise.

Aspenpaw let out a squeak of terror, shrinking back into Mintpaw at the thought of a new threat. Mintpaw started to bristle. "Panther? And here I thought a badger was going to be a tough battle.." Snowstorm muttered to herself, her ears flat.

Foxleaf couldn't sense any obvious danger so she approached the group of cats with her apprentice to see what was going on.
Snowtiger found the squirrel whose trail he had been tracking. He quickly pounced on to the squirrel and killed it. Carrying the squirrel, he undug the vole he had found earlier and headed back to meet the others.
