Kitepaw leaped over the smaller apprentice as she lunged at him and placed his paw firmly on her tail with a purr of amusement. "Good try, keep it up." He tried to encourage his friend.

Dewstripe hissed, tearing at the moss in her nest with her elongated claws. "Agh!" She managed to scream, feeling a spasm rack her body as she helplessly rocked back and forth.
Meadowpaw purred taking this distraction and using it to her advantage. Twisting around, she lunged at Kitepaw once more, bowling him over and squealing with joy. Twitching her ears, she suddenly sat up. "Hey... Do you hear that?" She asked, looking towards the river. "It sounds like... Nevermind.." She said, still looking confused.

Kitepaw perked his ears. "No, you're right. I hear something." He meowed, pushing her gently off. He sniffed the air catching a dull, milky scent of multiple cats.

The medicine cat, still drowsy with sleep, looked up at the queen. "Wah?"
"Dewstripe! Kits! Now!" Thornberry hissed.
"What? Oh, now? Oh no Oh no." Leafdrop muttered, scrambling onto his paws.
"Meadow paw? Meadow paw! Where are you?" He called out, then, in irritation, the blind medicine cat disappeared into his storage, grabbing the necessary herbs.
Thornberrys yowling had woken up the deputy, who rushed into the nursery, eyes wide with worry.
"Dewstripe? Dewstripe! " He mewed, crouching down next to her.
The two kits, curious, tried to follow the sound of water, wanting to know what it was. The kits scrambled over more logs, scooted under roots, and over rocks. Little did they know how deep they had gotten into their clans territory.

Meadowpaw, oblivious to the commotion that was going on back at camp, walked further into the woods. "Its Cinderkit and Thornkit!" She said, the fur rising up on her spine. "They are going to the river! We have to stop them!"
Dewstripe gasped, pain racking her body. "Help!" She said, shaking and crying. She knew something was going wrong with the birth. It wasn't supposed to hurt like this.

(it's fine, so how are we going to make this work? This would have to mean that they somehow got on thunderclan territory. It would make sense in the new territories because it's night and it'd be easy to wander over the border without realizing it and end up on the other side of the river, but in the old forest they'd have to have traveled over the thunderpath and all the wat to the river between riverclan and thunderclan....)

"Hey, CInderkit! Lookie here~" Talonkit sung, seeing the thunder path.
"Wow! Look at that! Lets go explore it! Theres a hole going under it!" His sister squeaked, dashing in front of the tom and running into the tunnel, tail-high. The tabby followed suit, not ready to be out done by his sister. The two kits made their way out of the tunnel, into Shadowclan territory.
"Sh-Sh, Its ok," Her mate murmured, looking helplessly at the medicine cat.

Yeah, but if they're about to cross we wouldn't have to change anything. We just replace river with thunderpath. The kits were nearing the river so you change it to nearing the thunderpath so not much has to be changed)

"You're right Meadowpaw! We have to stop them before they cross the thunderpath." He agreed, stopping on the edge of the large Thunderpath. "Stop!" He yowled from across, hoping the kits would hear him. A monster roared across the path, stealing his yowl along with it. He looked to both sides and waited for an opening. He began to run across the path, something he hadn't done yet. When he was in the middle of the road he heard a loud roar and saw two glowing eyes of a monster racing for him. He pushed himself to go faster, making it across a heartbeat before the monster whipped past.

hey, we decided that the territory was the old forest and replaced the river with the thunderpath and Kitepaw just darted across to stop the kits from crossing it)

Cinderkit let out a cry of fear, the wind made by the monster knocking the tiny kit off balance. Talonkit leaped infront of his sister, fur puffed out as if he where trying to scare the apprentice. "Wh-who are you?" He demanded. "I'm Kitepaw and you two look like you shouldn't be out of the nursery." Kitepaw scolded sternly. "If you're going to sneek out of camp at least try act like apprentices. Did you see the monster come for me? I could've been killed. If you had gone and tried crossing, you wouldn't make it halfway before a monster came to eat you." He knew it was stern, but if he didn't scare the kits, they'd try do it again. |

Kitepaw nodded to Cinderkit. "Good, you two seriously should be getting back to camp. If your mother wakes to find you gone from the nest you'll find yourselves in the nursery for a moon. "He purred, remembering when he had made it halfway to the camp entrance when he was a kit and his mother had him caged in the nursery for a whole seven sunrises.
