Winterpaw was embarrassed. "It's okay, I'll go talk to her." She said quietly, walking away, but not before flashing him a sweet smile. She went over to the log. "Hello?" She whispered.

Lightingpaw sighed. "I don't know." She meowed. She knew that was the full truth. She didn't know what to think now. She hissed when Winterpaw came over. She glared at her. "What do you want." She meowed blankly. She buried her nose in her paws. She needed a cat who appreciated her and liked her for being herself.

Lightningpaw looked at Skypaw. She was very grateful fur his help but she didn't know what to think. "Thanks." She purred giving him a lick on his nose.

Mikel watched all the cats leave, confusion in his eyes. What was up with all the cats around here? He sighed and decided to take his leave. Maybe that Lightningpaw would still meet with him at moonhigh. He walked a little ways and then climbed the tree, at the top branch in no time.

Winterpaw was hurt. "I just wanted to comfort you! But I guess you don't want me." Winterpaw walked out of the log, feeling upset. Why did Lightningpaw react to her with such aggression? She stared at the ground, tears filling her eyes. She hoped Mikel couldn't see her, although he could.

Mikel was busy dashing from tree to tree, going to another area for the rest of the afternoon, when he heard the voices of Winterpaw and the others close, again. He stopped and looked down. He saw Winterpaw appearing sad. He frowned.
"I hope you'll be okay..." He mewed softly, before dashing off.
(i gotta go for the night, but i'll be on tomorrow morning sometime. I have to work tomorrow night tho. see ya then! goodnight!)

(hey guys! ) Mikel continued going from tree to tree until he reached one that was hollowed out at the top. A hole had been cut into it, and he could just barely detect an old owl's nest inside. He looked around, listening for any signs of owls nearby, and then entered the little "den". He brushed the old dirt and nesting aside (along with the bones too) and out the entrance, then grabbed some leaves and laid them down inside. After that, he curled up into a small ball and yawned, resting on the leaves. "I gotta get some rest...I've been traveling a lot today..." He murmured, before closing his eyes and falling asleep. |
