chat thread for autistics & neurodivergents ♡

Well, it was a 2-in-1 disc for twenty bucks, so I went for it. Didn't do any research, watch any reviews, or playthroughs. I'm a risk-taker. /s

I generally don't buy games unless I'm certain I'm going to play them at least somewhat. There are a few games I got and have only an hour or two on but keeping this in mind is better on my wallet lol.

It also helps that I know what I like. Almost every single game I own is an RPG with fantasy or sci-fi elements. And I'm not very picky about modern games or looks either.

The one and only game in my library I bought and actually just ended up being severely disappointed with was Need for Speed: Heat. I typically love the NFS series but that one just isn't it. I found myself extremely bored with the character and car customization and the handling/drift was the poorest of any racing game I've ever played. I'm sticking to my playstation 2 games. :/

Squirreling away games like acorns is a mood mood mood. I have so many other hobbies I want to pursue and projects I want to work on (did I mention I'm bad at multitasking?) yet that didn't stop me from buying the Mass Effect trilogy and ESO a month ago. Or HFW before that.

Then there's the games I've received as Christmas/birthday gifts that I've started, enjoyed, and promptly forgotten about. Not because they couldn't keep my attention, but because I keep getting distracted.

Inevitably I always end up circling back to Dragon Age or Skyrim, which I've played dozens of times. (read: played, not necessarily finished.) Why am I like this.

Thanks! And not quite, no. There's a waterfall East of Whiterun beyond an outpost. It's easily one of my favorite chill sections in the game. At the bottom of the waterfall the river temporarily forks, creating a small island in the middle. You just have to excuse the bones and bloodied grass towards one side of the waters.

It's the first location I visit and clear out when starting a new game, aside from the Alchemist's Shack. (Who wouldn't want a butterfly in a jar?)

re: skyrim;

Dark Sun love the backstory! that's some intense roleplaying, too. very cool though. I like to roleplay as well, but probably not to that extent. Lately I've been trying to come up with backstories for my Dragonborns, which I'd never bothered with before as I'm not very familiar with TES lore. lowkey one of the reasons I got ESO was to immerse myself in more lore

I've always thought it would be nice if reading a book allowed time to pass in-game. It would be more immersive way of waiting, to be sure. There must be a mod out there for it.

Leapkit also a really cool backstory! He sounds badass. I'd love to see him when you get a chance to share!

despite the memes, I've yet to do a stealth archer run. I always end up getting sucked into using magic. I love playing a one-handed spellsword.

Ozibar Goldleif - Kind of a mixed warrior, I swap weapons frequently. He. *sorta* counts as a stealth archer because his stealth is high but i usually end up using sword+shield, sword+dagger, and double daggers way more often.


Tiebe Whiteskull - An orphaned orc raised by nord parents. Fights with the Stormcloaks but also believes the other races deserve a better chance to live in Skyrim as well, but ultimately feels the Imperials are better off minding their own business.


Xhuli - My baby. My son. My child. Technically a tscaesci and NOT an argonian but tscaesci race mods are all borked/old/not compatible with SE. Drawn looks more based off of a hognose snake.
He found himself adrift at sea and ended up in Black Marsh. Ran with pirates for a while, got bored. Started learning the saxhleel jeweler trade for a while, got bored. Decided to go back to stealing stuff for the Black Marsh and later Cyrodill thieves guild, got bored. Heard about all the cool unlooted tombs in Skyrim, got a transfer to Skyrim's thieves guild, but mostly runs solo.
Because of his skill in jewelry, he can turn stolen goods into never seen before jewelry and forego a fence, but you can pretty much be certain none of the materials were gotten by legal means.




XBOX 360/Legendary Edition Skyrim OCs (Some I no longer use, some I just heven't made in SE yet.)

Azikita-Ma - Dragonborn, Archmage, Assassin, Thieves Guild master, dabbled in werewolf and vampirism, decided being a cat was better than weird bats or dogs, Thane of every hold, single soccer mom of 2. And YES I did max out pickpocket for the swaggy temple priest robes AND IM DAMN PROUD OF IT. She's like level 90 and I feel good about accomplishing so much that I count her as a "completed" run now. I will likely never touch her again but I still really love her.


Azgrobaoth Twice-Cursed - He is... cursed twice, once by Malacath (orc), once by Molag Bal (vampire). I like the concept I had for this guy but as soon as I made him a vampire I never touched him Oops?


Melrakki - Dawnguard paladin-class. She was a challenge run using the Skyrim Roulette Challenge. Died at level 23. Didn't actually have her use a follower though because I literally hate having any follower, and what is the point of a challenge if I have a free meat shield??

Actually I wanna talk about one more character. My oldest Skyrim character who has had several iterations. She feels pretty close to me.

This is Damesaruk. Current iteration in SE on pc, at least.



I started her way back in 2014 on the PS3, on totally vanilla Skyrim. Not even legendary edition yet. No DLC. Facial structure looks... As close as I can remember it to this. Her non-vampire eyes are blue, as well as used to have the two lines on both cheeks blue face paint. Hair was the matriarch bun hair style for orcs. (Decided she looked prettier without the war paint and with some modded hair this time. Also a body mod for muscular women because buff woman hot and I'm tired of female orcs looking petite when the male counterpart is just a slab of man meat.) This was in the middle of the end of living with my parents, during and after being abused, before being thrown out of the house. She was my escapism to just be someone else. Got to around level 60-ish before I did.

Later when I finally had a safe place to stay again, she got remade on the 360 and I had access to the DLC, pretty much the same, but without war paint, and I made a beeline for the vampire side first, followed by some of the other factions I hadn't touched yet. She didn't get nearly as far as on the PS3 because Azikita-Ma became my main to do everything on, but I still played her a lot. Up to 40-ish.

Her story is that she got kicked out of the orc stronghold for embodying everything orc culture either hates or looks down upon. A lack of honor with her sneaking around and using subversive tactics for an advantage instead of facing foes head-on. Stealing and coveting other's property. Being scandalous with males of other races instead of keeping herself chaste for when she would be married off. And finally exile, after punching and spitting in the face of an orc chief of another stronghold.

Reflecting this she's a thief and an assassin first. Followed by doing the Dawnguard quest- vampire side which is what I just started now. I keep her in light armor and clothes, with two daggers and high sneak and blades for the maximum stealth damage possible. Right now she's only level 13 and I'm just starting up some of the faction quests and side quests to get the ball rolling to sort of be back where she was on PS3/360 before I start roleplaying again.

I LOVE orcs and beast races. I have made one of every race & gender at some point but I always go back to those the most.

i think i mightve gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to functionality bc i can just barely get thru da day even when i have nothing 2 do x.x but aside from that i think my neurodivergency(?) is pretty swag 

my current hyperfixations are ermmm my ocs and littlest pet shop!! i am a toy collector !! please help  i have spent like 600 dollars on these little animal toys since june 2021!!!
lps also happened to be my first ever special interest and i dont think i ever rlly let go of it lolz!! just shifted focus to other things i guess x3
