Agnar made a good point. At the very least they could sick Megumi on them. Not many people here had experience with Taguels and a bloodthirsty one charging at them would scare anyone "If all else fails I will simply make them fall in love with me and they'll not want to kill us for fear of breaking my heart." he said with complete confidence.

Megumi may not be interested in human weapons, but the talk of magic did catch her attention. Her mother knew some magic, and Megumi wasn't against learning it herself. Human weapons felt clunky and useless, but magic paired with her Taguel abilities and speed was something she could get behind. Megumi shifted, wishing they would head out already.

Ambrose led the way out through the gates. "If our information has stayed the same only four or five bandits are present, so shouldn't be to much trouble for our little rag tag team of fighters," he said.(A/N:because I embrace this). "Omg, we need a cool name! A nice cool name for our little team. Any ideas! No bad ones! Let me hear them! If none of you got one, I'll think of one!" He flashed a grin back to the students behind him, patting his horse on the muzzle gently, as she gave a small snort to his statement. "I come up with great ideas, Opal."

Agnar - Gate - Bandit Bashers"Yeah, good luck with that," he snorted at Luca's 'plan'. With a smirk he added "Do you even have enough gold to pay for your date?" Turning serious again he listened to Ambrose. Five bandits did sound like a manageable task, unless someone on the team turned out to be completely incompetent. He didn't worry too much about that possibility though. But upon hearing Ambrose's next words he wondered if his trust in the knight was maybe misplaced. Not so much as in his skill than in his sanity. He briefly shot the others a look that said 'seriously?' before focusing on the path ahead again. When it became clear that Ambrose really did expect them to make suggestions he shrugged. "Oh I don't know. The Merry Polycule?" he snarked with a glance at Luca, immediately walking a bit faster after saying that so he was now walking beside Ambrose and Opal, tensing up slightly in anticipation and mentally preparing himself to block any potential attacks from either Imrie and Megumi.
(Guess at this point he's just done with this shit but not quite ready to let the others kill him just yet)

Luca cackled at the suggestion "Ohhh I like that one!" he thought for a moment before saying "Maybe the Bandit Bewitchers. One if them is bound to be attractive it would be a waste to kill them. I can fix them." Luca was a dumbass and how he hadn't died before this point was both a mystery and a miracle. Someone out there had to be looking out for him.

"Bandit Butchers." Megumi muttered to herself, name suggestion showing her slight bloodlust. When Luca looked over and asked her what she just said she cleared her throat and lied with ease "Bandit Bashers." Megumi wasn't about to be written up again for threatening the lives of some puny humans. Even if they were bandits. Apparently being a violent person was looked down upon.

Ambrose's face lit up at the suggestions. "I love Bandit Bashers!!! That is what we are now!! Wonderful suggestion little rabbit," he said, not meaning any ill will behind the comment, he just didn't know her name. Heck he didn't know most of the students names when he stole took with him. He smiled to his horse. "Don't you agree Opal?" God i want to stab myself. He thought.

"It can be," she said with a shrug. It wasn't something she had enjoyed back home, but here it was widely accepted to follow the Serios teachings, and so she was going to enjoy her time as much as she can. She took a mental note of what he said about some church members being a bit more accepting. "You'll have to point her out to me when we get back. Im sure it would be beneficial to learn from you both." She made a face at the knight's behavior. "Do they just let anyone become a knight?"

Agnar rolled his eyes at Luca's suggestion but shot him a brief grin. "Eh, they're usually not that hot. At least in my experience. One was so hideous I almost threw up." Granted, it hadn't really been because of the guy's appearance and had more to do with the fact that it had been the very first time Agnar had fought and killed a bandit. But right now it didn't seem like a good idea to get into detail about that. He didn't know if any of the others, aside from Ambrose of course, had any experience in killing bandits. It was difficult to tell with Megumi and Imrie. Maybe they had or maybe they hadn't. Both were from Sreng and definitely knew how to fight but he had no idea how they would handle killing someone. As for Luca and Callan, Agnar began to worry that they didn't know what they were getting themselves into. They both knew they were going to kill some bandits but were they really prepared for it or would they freak out once the battle was over?

"I will," he said, hoping that Estelle wouldn't mind. But then again she had no problem interacting with students from the other Houses. Besides, she always had many questions for Rekka about Morfis so maybe she would be excited to meet someone from Sreng too. He probably should warn Imrie about that. "She might ask you some stuff about your home," he added with a slight smile. "So I hope you don't mind it too much. She won't force you though." When Ambrose spoke up he exchanged a incredulous look with Imrie. He wasn't serious, was he? At the suggestion of the other three students he sighed but at least it seemed like Luca was the only one who was actually getting into this. He cringed however when Ambrose called Megumi 'little rabbit', casting a fearful glance at the Taguel and a skeptical one at Ambrose. We're all gonna die, he mouthed to Imrie. Then, quiet enough that Ambrose hopefully wouldn't hear him, he said "W-well, the captain and Lady Hera seem to trust him with this. Guess he's somewhat reliable in a fight?"

"I guess I can work with that." Luca mused, shrugging at the decision of the name. He matched pace with Agnar and chatted with the other student, hoping they'd get to their destination sooner rather than later "So you've fought Bandits before? That's hot. How did you do?" he questioned, tilting his head. Bandits weren't new to him, he'd dealt with them a lot when he was younger. They caused endless problems for his poor mother when she was alive.

She would have attacked the stupid human on sight for calling her that, but even Megumi had a sense of who was and wasn't to be messed with. The other students couldn't do much, but if she attacked a teacher or someone in charge... well, she wouldn't be going back home anytime soon. Megumi didn't like enclosed spaces, and a move like that would get her sent to prison. So instead she just glared at him, flattening her ears back in irritation.

Agnar | Gate | Luca, Bandit Bashers"Nothing hotter than getting your enemy's blood all over you," he joked before nodding. "But yeah, couple times when my father and I brought back some traded goods from Faerghus. Doesn't happen too often though. Most of them know not to mess with people from our village."
He shrugged as he thought of some of those encounters. While he didn't enjoy fights like that he also didn't let them bother him. "Most of them had been at a disadvantage just by virtue of not knowing how to properly fight me in close combat," he then said. He usually didn't run into issues like that himself since he had often trained with others in his village and most of them were right-handed, unlike him, so he didn't get confused when fighting against people like that. "But even without that they wouldn't have been too much of a threat since they relied on nothing but their strength and I'm used to strong opponents." He supposed that those bandits had little to no experience in attacking anyone who actually knew how to fight back. "Made predicting what they'd do very easy." He shook his head and snorted. "I've hunted prey with more brains than that."
Then he glanced at Luca, still wondering how he would fare in their upcoming fight against the group of bandits and how well he would take it. "What about you? Ever had to put up with some bandits? I bet they're not above harassing dancers and other performers."

He snorted at the prey comment, inclined to agree. Bandits were always the brawn of brains types in his experience. When asked about his own experience he nodded "We dealt with them a lot when I was younger. We were a traveling group of performers, so it wasn't rare to have to deal with them." he tapped his chin thoughtfully, choosing his next words "They were sometimes used as intimidation when people came asking for loan payments. No bandits will ever match up to those ones, so I think I'll be be fine." he said jokingly, even if he had always felt some guilt about that. His mother had gone into debt for him, and now that she was dead he'd never truly be able to pay her back. His expression stayed cheery and lighthearted as he spoke though, preferring not to dwell on those thoughts.

Imrie gave a nod at his comment, while she did find the idea annoying, she saw no real issue to have to withhold that information. "Will deoend on the questions she asks." She narrowed her eyes to the knight, would it be wrong to hit an 'authority' figure? "Hoepfully he is, we already have one problem," she said shooting a glare in the direction of Luca. "We do not need another one to deal with while fighting bandits." If the knight did prove to be useless, well, it would be a shame of he got thrown off his horse wouldn't it?

He nodded when Luca confirmed that he too had had to put up with Bandits before. It made sense, groups of performers seemed like another desirable target for those people. But at least it seemed like Luca and the others had ways of dealing with them. At the remark about bandits being used as intimiation by people asking for loan payments Agnar chuckled. "Good to know. Looks like we can deal with the bandits then," he said with an amused smile. He watched the other for a short moment though, wondering about what he had just told him. Did Luca have to deal with these loan payment guys often? He wasn't going to ask him about it though. Maybe some other time when he and the other Lions knew each other better. Instead Agnar just briefly glanced at the rest of the Bandit Bashers, right as Imrie and Callan gave Ambrose annoyed and skeptical looks respectively. Megumi, too, didn't seem too happy with the knight and he himself had began to question Ambrose's sanity the moment he had insisted on having the students come up with a team name. "Well, let's hope our leader knows what he's doing," he said, watching Ambrose in mock apprehension. Despite his quirkiness the knight had to be at least somewhat competent so Agnar didn't worry too much. As for the bandits themselves, to him they'd be more of an annoyance than an actual threat. And if they were as stupid and disorganized as the bandits he had met so far they wouldn't be much of a challenge for this weird little team.

"That's fair," he said with a nod. As excited as Estelle could be she'd understand if the other person wasn't willing to answer all her questions. "I think she'd be mostly curious about the culture and how the people you know are." He gave an affirmative grunt at Imrie's remark about Ambrose and then followed her gaze as she glared at Luca. "Oh. So he's like that during training too?" he asked, slightly concerned at the prospect of Luca still goofing off when it was time to deal with the bandits. Imrie was right, they really didn't need two people like that. The others seemed reliable enough, at least from what he could tell. But that would still mean that only four out of six would take this battle seriously.

"Everyone is being far too serious, we'll scare them away without even fighting with all these frowning faces." Luca joked lightly, glancing around at their group. Callan, Imrie, and Agnar all seemed somewhat worried ab out their fearless leader. But Luca knew first hand that strong people could act... weird. Silke being a prime example of this idea. Granted, he also wasn't going to be fighting on the front lines if everything went well, so maybe he and Ambrose were the odd ones out.

"Hum- Bandits aren't smart enough to be scared off by an angry face." Megumi snorted. Her ears stood tall, occasionally twitching when she picked up a noise that was out of the rest of the groups hearing range. There were a lot of noises she hadn't heard before, and she'd never actually dealt first hand with bandits so she didn't know exactly what to listen to. Any bandits that lived in her hometown wouldn't even dare mess with the Taguels.

Ambrose soon looked at the students. "Alright want you all on your guard, we are getting close to where the bandits are reported to be. Just do your best, if you get hit, hit them back. If you die...walk it off," he said. (An: yes I did throw an avengers reference). "And most importantly have fun and learn as much as you can as we kill these criminals." He flashed them another smile. If I'm lucky half of them won't come back, though on the other hand it might just cause issues further down the line. "He's right, stop looking so down in the dumps. Positive mindsets yield the best results! Though of course they will be no match for us, so I suppose battle attitude isn't all to important." More so the knight was confident in his own abilities, he hadn't really watched the students so he had no way of knowing what they were capable of.
Imrie-Forest-Callan,Banit Bashers
"That sounds reasonable," Imrie commented. The potential questions didn't seem to unreasonable to deal with if it meant learn8ng more magic as a result. At his next comment she made a slight face. "He's like this 24/7," she said. "It gets old real fast, I kind of hope he gets rejected by someone soon to knock him down a peg or two." As Ambrose continued being Ambrose, Imrie continued to doubt the man's abilities.

As weird as Ambrose was, at least he seemed confident enough. Still, Agnar would have preferred to follow a leader that wasn't this much of an oddball. Not wanting to dwell on that as there was no point in it anyway he briefly glanced at Luca and Callan. The latter was walking next to Imrie while the former was near Agnar and Ambrose. He moved aside a little so that the dancer was walking between him and the knight. As the group continued to move through the forest he now focused more on the sounds and sights around them than the small conversations some of them still had. Callan | Forest | Bandit Bashers
"So he'll be like that when we find he bandits, too?" he looked over to the dancer, clearly uneasy with what Imrie had just told him. Acting like that on the battlefield seemed really dangerous and he hoped Luca's antics wouldn't hinder the group. At her next words he nodded. He would feel bad for Luca if that happened but maybe it would get him to stop. Or at least tone it down a little. "I doubt he gets discouraged easily but yeah," he agreed. He sighed when Ambrose continued being weird but kept his guard up like the knight has told them to. The only reasonable thing he had said so far.

Julius | Courtyard | Open
Julius was standing in the courtyard near the classrooms, watching as students entered the Dining Hall. Some threw him an uneasy look when they saw him which he returned with a sheepish grin. Clearly they hadn't forgotten his little performance two weeks ago. Not that it actually bothered him. If only they knew how right they were to be afraid. Still, he had to be friendly with those surface dwellers so he couldn't do anything actually mean or bad to them. Maybe he would join a small group of students in the Dining Hall later. Not that they were of any use to him, he and the others were mainly supposed to watch the outsiders, especially the beastkin. In his case it wouldn't be too difficult. Yesterday he had agreed to join Grimm, Pierce and Rekka in their investigation of the monastery. Keeping an eye on the kitsune would be easy this way. Unfortunately they were forced to go about their nightly exploration some other time. Thanks to a small group of bandits that attacked some of the merchants on the route to Garreg Mach the knights had doubled their patrols last night, making it impossible for Julius and the others to sneak around. Thankfully those bandits would be dealt with today so maybe there would be another opportunity soon.

Vincent was watching his wyvern, Tsisana, as she hungrily ate the meat he had got her from the marketplace. After two weeks she was finally getting used to living here next to so many other wyverns. In fact it seemed like she was starting to enjoy it. At first Vincent had expected her to not like it here too much but he was glad that the presence of the other wyverns didn't bother her.
Nora | Training Grounds | Open
Nora threw another fireball at the training dummy before she walked over to the stack of weapons at the other end of the Training Grounds. After class she had come here to practice her magic a bit but she also wanted to make some progress in her training with weapons. She picked up a lance, briefly testing its weight, and went back to the training dummies. A part of her envied Megumi who had left class early today to join Ambrose. The knight had just walked into their classroom and announced that he was looking for volunteers to take on some bandits. Megumi had been the first to volunteer and Nora wasn't too sure about fighting alongside her just yet. Not that she would distrust her classmates in a fight but she felt it was a little too early to go on a assignment like this. She wanted to get to know her classmates' fighting styles a little better first. So she wasn't too upset about sitting this one out. Besides, a small group of bandits wasn't all that exciting so she didn't feel like she was missing out.
Jasmine | Entrance Hall | Open
Jasmine walked up the stairs of the Entrance Hall. She had been at the marketplace as Ambrose and some students had finally set out to deal with that group of bandits that had caused so much trouble recently. At first she hadn't been too happy with how their captain had only assigned Ambrose for this task, telling him to pick up to five students instead of some other knights or the squires. But now that she has seen just which students were in the group Jasmine was glad that she wasn't joining them. She didn't really know them well, having only seen them at the Training Grounds and the Dining Hall, but she didn't want to be on a team with two students from Sreng. Megumi was already bad enough on her own but having to deal with another person from that country? No, it really was for the best that Jasmine wasn't with them. She knew well enough that a fight would break out between them before they even could get anywhere near the bandits.
Néo | Fishing Pond | Open
Néo jumped back from the pond and dropped the fish he held between in jaws. He shook his head to get at least some of the water out of his fur and ears and then turned back into his normal form. With a disgusted grunt he wiped his mouth with his sleeve and briefly stuck out his tongue. As always, fish had an awful taste and it was only because feeding the cats was so enjoyable that he even bothered doing this. Sure, he could have just grabbed a fishing rod like a normal person but he really didn't want to do everything the human way. Besides, no one would tell him to take the fish to the kitchen as it had Taguel bitemarks on it. But more importantly, he liked to go annoy some of the staff by doing mundane things in his beastform. While there was no actual rule against it he knew it was frowned upon for beastkin like him to transform wherever they pleased.
He grabbed his fish and climbed on some crates near the pond where a cat was already waiting for him. With a chuckle he placed the fish in front of the cat and, sitting down next to it in his beastform, watched as the black tom eagerly ate it, acting like he hadn't been fed today.

In his mind, taking enemies they were supposed to be better than all too seriously was just going to make them nervous. And as a performer, he knew first hand how being nervous could affect you. One could argue that being nervous and cautious kept one alive... but Luca wasn't subscribed to that kind of thinking. He was forward and confident in all things in life.
Megumi | Bandit Bashers
Megumi continued to listen carefully to the world around them. They'd be there any second now, and she could finally let her claws dig into something more than a stupid wooden dummy. Back home she could hunt for food and fight off dangerous animals. Here she had more or less been forced into a human lifestyle, which did not suit her in the least.

Grimm sidled up to Julius, a conspiratorial look on his face. "Hey." He quickly glanced around the courtyard for guards but with the gentle bustle of other students and staff acting as an ever present backtrack, he wasn’t all that concerned about being overheard. "Shame about yesterday, huh? Couldn't be helped but I dare say we’ll get another chance soon enough.”
Grimm had volunteered to go with the small group of students dispatching the bandits, however, by that point Ambrose had already picked the number of volunteers he wanted for the attack. This was fine with him - there would plenty of chances to show off later down the line and he had more important things to be thinking about anyway. Such as planning an excursion into the monastery at night.
Blue Lions | Rieka | Fishing Pond | ❆
Rieka had resolved to wander the monastery in search of someone or something interesting after the Blue Lion's latest lesson. In truth, she felt disappointed that she hadn't volunteered to fight the bandits when Ambrose had asked but it was probably for the best that the students who were more confident in their skills had gone. Even though a couple of weeks had passed, there was much to adjust to at the academy and the young wolfskin just kept finding things she wanted to know more about.
As she rounded the corner, Rieka found the interesting person she'd been looking for. A transformed taguel. It wasn't often she got to see the other beastkin in their beastforms.

"Yeah. Things will calm down again once that bandit-problem is settled," he replied, giving a small nod in greeting. Julius had had no interest in joining Ambrose. Even if his group consisted of some of the students they were supposed to keep an eye on Schuyler could handle that by himself. He only would have joined them if Rekka had volunteered as well but since Callan had been to only Deer to be picked Julius saw no reason for it. "No doubt they'll end this today. I just hope the knights will go back to their normal schedule soon."

Néo looked up as the wolfskin walked over to him. Next to him the cat gave a low hiss but otherwise it didn't seem to be too bothered. While it had only been a little over two weeks the dogs and cats at Garreg Mach had gotten more or less used to the presence of the beastkin.
"Hi Rieka," he returned her greeting, hesitating only for a split second to recall her name as he hopped down from the crates. "What's up?" Had any of her classmates approached him he probably wouldn't have bothered with remembering their names. Especially after he had trained with them today. The fact that most of those humans could best him in battle didn't do much to endear them to him. Even Jason, who was significantly weaker than him, wasn't really all that inferior. While Néo was the stronger one they were about equal in terms of skill thanks to their lack of experience. The Taguel was glad that each House had at least one beastkin. It made training with the students more bearable.
"Not much going on today, huh?" he said as he shifted back into his human form. Now that more and more students and church members were running around he didn't want to stand out too much. As fun as breaking some unwritten "rule" was he also didn't want to take it too far.

Vincent | Wyvern Stables | OpenVincent was watching his wyvern, Tsisana, as she hungrily ate the meat he had got her from the marketplace. After two weeks she was finally getting used to living here next to so many other wyverns. In fact it seemed like she was starting to enjoy it. At first Vincent had expected her to not like it here too much but he was glad that the presence of the other wyverns didn't bother her. Rekka | Wyvern Stable | with Vincent
Wyverns were a part of human society that Rekka found very interesting. Kitsune didn't use them, and as someone who was interested in human customs and life the creatures caught his eye. He'd sometimes stop by the stables to take a look. As he approached he noticed a fellow student there already, and by the looks of it he was familiar with a wyvern. Perfect! Someone who knew about them. Rekkas tail swished happily as he approached Vincent, minding the fact he was also approaching an animal so as to not spook it. Not that he thought a wyvern would be nervous around him. It was a dragon after all!

Ambrose was oblivious to the lack of faith the students had in him, or if he was aware he just didn't care. The man got lost in thought as he watched the surroundings. "Ah we are here," he announced. "This is where the attacks have been happening, so everyone stay on your guard we dont want to risk surprise attacks." The knight got off his horse, trusting the creature to stay, as he moved to scan along the edges of the path for any signs that could lead to where the bandits come from. The man sending a brief glance to the students. "You know we probably should have disguised ourselves, that way we wouldn't risk the bandits not attacking.:

"If he is, I'm stabbing him and making it lo9k like an accident," she said, her eyes narrowing dangerously in the direction of the dancer. She glanced back to Callan at his next statement. "I suppose you have a point there, he's so full of himself it would probably take multiple for that to happen." The knight at the start of them getting here seemed to have finally started making common sense orders, and had started to earn some respect from her, but with his latest comment, proceed to lose them all, because nope he was still being weird.

Agnar | Forest | Bandit BashersAgnar decided to completely ignore Ambrose's last statement, instead keeping his focus on the path and the surroundings. The bandits could show up any time but he was more than ready for that. While he stayed on his guard he was mostly relaxed about this. As he had noted several times before, most of them could easily deal with some bandits as they were skilled and strong enough. Callan | Forest | Imrie, Bandit Bashers"You should grab a weapon from the bandits then. I heard most of them prefer axes over other weapons so stabbing him with a knife or sword could look suspicious," he said. At Ambrose's last comment he sighed and whispered a "Him too, when you're already at it" to Imrie. But at least the staying on guard part was a sensible order.

"I can take off my shirt if you think it would lure them in." Luca only half joked, nudging Agnar good-naturedly. Honestly, a group of young adults with an older man was a prime target, even if they had some weapons on them. Megumi and him weren't even visibly carrying anything even. He had some knives and a sword on him, but nothing big and flashy like an axe or spear.

"They'd probably go out of their way to avoid a pervert in that case." Megumi rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest and looking around. Her ears flicked irritably, and she wished that the battle would just start already. Literally anything to stop this useless line of conversation. Though, it seemed that most things that came out of Lucas mouth were useless.

"You're supposed to kill the bandits, not us," he shot back at the dancer with a slight grin. While he still kinda wished that Luca and Ambrose would take this a little more seriously he found that he didn't mind it too much. For a simple task like this they probably could afford it and as long as those two, or at least one of them, were competent in battle he'd just tolerate their weirdness. This time, at least.

Vincent turned slightly to see who was approaching. Tsisana had looked up, even briefly pausing her meal, and gave the newcomer a wary glance. With a friendly smile Vincent gave a small nod as the kitsune came closer. He hadn't talked to him all that much yet but he still remembered meeting Rekka at the marketplace and how he and Estelle had asked the kitsune about Morfis. "Good afternoon, Rekka" he greeted him. "Here to meet the wyverns?" He stepped aside a little and briefly turned back to Tsisana who was still watching the kitsune carefully. While she wasn't afraid or hostile she was still a bit uncertain. After a moment he looked back at Rekka. "You can look at her if you want. She is a bit wary of strangers at first but she doesn't mind your presence. Otherwise she would have roared at you by now."

Ambrose looked at Luca, with a tilt of his head. "How effective would that be," he asked. "Because if it does absolutely nothing, then no don't do that, but if it would work....no don't do it, it's not worth the risk." Ambrise turned his attention back to checking around. Can i just kill them, and go back and say bandits got these students??? Thats believable right?? He thought to himself.

Imrie gave a nod to Callan's remark. "Smart, I'll just have to get my hands on one then," she said, glancing to Luca, trying to verify her odds of getting away with it if she did go through with it. She looked to Ambrose. "Oh I'll definitely do it to him if I get no consequences for doing so." She wished the two men would take the situation seriously, but serious didn't seem to be a word in their vocabulary.

Luca shrugged "I guess I won't then, these bandits likely have poor taste anyways." he looked around, hand on hips "I'm not worried though, a bandit group that causes petty trouble won't be any problem for our team. It would be more of a surprise if we lost." Luca beamed at his group members, blind to the fact that half of them thought his antics childish and annoying. Megumi just shook her head at his words.

Grimm nodded in agreement. Bandits would be standard fare for the Knights of Seiros. "Wonder how they're doing," he mused blithely, his thoughts turning to the other students. Having the Minister of Military Affairs as a father meant that he'd been expected to join skirmishes on Hesper land from an early age but he was aware not all of his classmates would have experienced battle before. "Want to make bets on what time they'll return? I bet 100G that'll we'll see them... juuust before dusk, in time for dinner and well before the guards force us back to the dorms. Might be fun to keep an eye out for them." It would be good to know who to watch out for during the mock battle too.

Rieka glanced at the cat briefly, not surprised by or terribly interested in the response, and dipped her head to Néo. "No, aside from the bandits, that is," she replied. "Back in Albinea, our tribe dealt with bandits from time to time too. I suppose groups like that pop up no matter where you go."
Clearly deciding there was little else to say on the topic, she continued on, gesturing toward Néo with her tail. "I was quite impressed by you during the training session. All the squires here seem to be as capable as knights and no less bold in their attacks." Her sparring match with Jasmine sprung to mind as if to prove her point. She was quite enjoying having the opportunity to learn from so many worthy opponents. It was a bit of a shame she didn't get to use her beast form as often though. Such transformations tended to require an empty training grounds.

The kitsune, as well as the other beastkin, wouldn't have much use for mounts. With an amused smile he then noted "The same can be said for her though, she has never encountered any beastkin before." At the question he nodded. "Ah yes, I should probably introduce her to you. Her name is Tsisana and she and I have practiced flying together shortly after I began combat training." Behind him the wyvern looked curiously at Rekka and after a moment of hesitation she leaned down a bit and pushed her head forward, intrigued by this odd creature's appearance and smell. "It appears that she really is as intrigued as you are." Vincent placed a hand on her muzzle as he spoke, giving the kitsune a reassuring smile. "I hope she didn't startle you. But she is allowing you to come closer now, if you like." While Tsisana's expression didn't change from her usual glare her posture had relaxed a bit since Rekka had shown up.

Julius chuckled and shook his head at the offer. "I'll save the bets for until the mock battle. Too much guesswork for this one. You're probably not too far of with your guess anyway." He did hum in agreement at keeping an eye out for them though. "How many Eagles joined Ambrose, by the way? The others were waiting outside when he asked us if anyone wanted to beat up some bandits but he told us that he'd only need one Deer. Guess he didn't pick too many from your class either?"

"Yeah, we've had them in Sreng too and we also see them near our village in Faerghus," he said, snorting at the mention of his home in Fódlan.
When Rieka changed the subject though he grinned a little. "Thanks. You're pretty tough yourself. Shame we only got to train with weapons though." While he wasn't too happy with today's training he was quite proud of at least being able to keep up with the others in terms of strength. "But yeah, they sure take their training super seriously. I guess humans really do know how to make up for not being able to transform like us." While he didn't like it he had to admit that the humans were quite formidable with their weapons and magic. If he wanted to be able to travel back to his tribe in Sreng by himself he'd make better progress if he kept training with the people here. In the two weeks he had lived at the monastery he had decided to pick up a weapon as well, just to give him more options in battle and so far he had found that he he didn't do too badly with swords.
