Neason-Dining Hall-Julius Neason couldn't help but stifle a few laughs. He had never heard of someone having that kind of trouble with animals. He lsitened to the other explain his experiences with horses. "Sounds like I might need to use Warp or Rescue on you to get revenge for the poor horses you have wronged," he joked, he didn't intent to do it on purpose, but if he felt it was needed to protect his friend he would use the two spells, should he not be able to use any healing ones on him. "But have you ever thought the horses were just trying to greet you? Like everyone, horses have personalities, and have different behaviors, maybe they were just trying to greet you in their way. Except for maybe the one that was trying to bite you, that one just seems like they must not like you." Ciarra-Dining Hall-Jasmine Ciarra gave a nod to the other's words, she hoped they were true as she wanted to see how some of the people she knew were doing. "I traveled around in the other nations when we got called to them, but we mostly stuck around in the alliance area. I think I enjoyed visiting the empire the most though, it just feels so different compared to the rest of Fodlan." She took a sip from the drink that she had. "Do you have a favorite place that you have been to?" Jason-Bridge-Agnar Jason scratched at his cheek, giving an embarrassed smile. "Truth be told I was to scared to talk to anyone yesterday, so you are kind of the first person I have meet," he admitted to the other. "But yea from what I watched, they seem to be nice. Though some seem intimating like Fion, but I think it is just due to his status and everything, hoepfully he is actually nice." |

Silke nodded as Grimm made his way out. She decided to stick around and practice for a short while longer, training a few of the moves she thought would have helped in the practice fights had she been better at them. For the most part, she was quiet with a focused look on her face. Silke wasn't often quiet, but times like this she was.

"Yes, while I don't know much about magic I do know that the magic we have there is quit unusual. Our foxfire is a type of it." he said, nodding. Their foxfire abilities were different for nearly every kitsune "You guys should come and visit at some point." the place was, interesting. Estelle oohed and ahed now that the topic concerned magic. "Yes! I would very much love to!" She said immediately with a small clap of her hands and a spring to her step. "Truthfully, I tend to get lost in new places, but with you to guide us, Rekka... Oh! I get so excited just thinking about it." Travelling the world had always been an appealing idea - why not start with Morfis? She was sure the magic-users there had much they could teach her. Not to mention, old tomes and maybe even, if she were lucky, clear skies and new constellations. "Vincent, we should plan a trip! Everyone back home might not be so happy with me just packing up and leaving though..." Even in regards to joining the academy, there had been a little resistance from the astronomers. They had simply been worried about her, the child they'd practically helped raise. Thinking of home for a moment, Estelle hoped that they'd write back to her quickly.

"Siding with the horses already?" For a moment Julius stared at him with a mock hurt expression, then he shook his head and hissed a jokingly disappointed "Traitor..." as he did. It did make him curious though. Were those spells something Neason could learn? As for himself, he was training hard to get the Warp spell right. Not that he could show off his results yet, it was way too soon for a 'beginner' like him to know that more advanced spell already. "So are you going to try and learn some Faith magic? Not for messing with me, of course!" he added with a grin. At Neason's explanation he nodded though he looked a bit doubtful. "Maybe? Still a mean way of greeting someone. You're right about their personalities though. Guess I only met horses who I just clash with so far." He shrugged but smiled a little at the thought. "I'll see when I have to deal with them here. If you ever hear loud neighing and yelling from the stables that's just me and a horse having an fun little exchange of insults," he joked. "Never unprovoked, obviously."
Jasmine | Dining Hall | Ciarra
"Ah, that makes sense." Jasmine nodded as Ciarra told her of having visited the other nations. It wasn't too surprising, knights could get called to other places even when they mostly stuck to their own. At Ciarra's question she gave a slight smile as she thought about it. "Hm. I think I'm really partial to Faerghus. Mostly because that's where I lived before. Close to the border to Sreng. I haven't been on any missions there yet though, only the other parts of the Kingdom. As for the other nations I think I enjoyed our visit to Deirdru the most. I guess there are many other interesting places in the Alliance but that one's the best by far."
Agnar | Bridge | Jason
"I see. Can't blame you for that," Agnar replied with an understanding smile. While he wasn't actually intimidated by the others he wasn't really one to go out of his way and approach people he didn't know yet. "Guess it's a good thing you've already met Luca then. He's probably the most outgoing here. I could do without his constant flirting though," he added with a good-natured chuckle. "He introduced you to Rieka just before class, right? They're both easy to talk too." Maybe Jason could start with them if he was too scared to approach the others. Not that Agnar would interefere with it though. It wasn't his place to dictate how and when others made friends. "You don't have to worry about meeting Fion though. We talked a little before class and he doesn't seem to want such formalities here."

Despite not caring all that much for magic Vincent listened with great interest as Rekka talked about his people's foxfire. He even envied the Golden Deer a little as they would get to see it the most. "I do hope that you are going to show off your foxfire during the mock battle," he said. At the idea of visiting Morfis he nodded, not as excited as Estelle but clearly interested nonetheless. "I'd really love to pay a visit. There's much to learn from such a trip and it sounds like an interesting place," he agreed. "Convincing our families though might prove a bit difficult. I suppose I could give my father some good reasons he won't disagree with if I put some time and thought into it."

Estelle smiled contentedly as she walked along beside them. Day 2 and she already had things to look foreword to after her year at the academy drew to a close. Things were going even better than she'd expected. "I am sure the opportunity shall arise," she said confidently, now determined to make it a reality. "Count Marquadt will see sense and my father will not take too much convincing." Perhaps it would look odd for a lady of The Alliance and an Adrestian count's son to take a trip together to some far-off land, but Estelle wasn't thinking about that at present. "Speaking of family, Rekka, is yours large?"

Neason-Dining Hall-Julius "We will see who I will side with," he said with a grin. "I'm not really sure which magic I'm going to learn, but Searc said I am banned from learning any dark magic. So I am thinking either faith or white magic! And what I would use them for will be a mystery." Now did he actually know how to use Warp or Rescue? Not in the slightest the last time he attempted rescue he had 'rescued' Search by putting the boy in a tree. "I'm sure one day you will find a horse that likes you! But if I ever do hear anything like that I'll come and help smooth things over." Ciarra-Dining Hall-Jasmine Ciarra gave a nod as she listened to Jasmine talked about then places she had been to over her journies. She waited till the girl was done to ask some further questions. "Are there any places you would wish to visit that you haven't so far? And also have you been to any other of the neighboring countries? And what is Sreng like?" She knew they were a lot of questions, but she was especially curious about the other areas around the country of Fodlan. Jason-Bridge-Agnar Jason gave a nod. "Luca is alright," he said, he didnt mind the boy's flirting but it certainly caught him off guard at times. Jason felt embarrassed over forgetting some of the interactions he had, it had been a lot to take in during the morning. "I'm still not sure on Rieka I feel like if I say the wrong thing she will rip my throat out." He gave a small nod to the mentioning of Fion. "I'll try and remember." |

"Of course! Unless they want me to fight with normal weapons, I'll certainly be using my fox form in the mock battle. Maybe even in training if they allow it." he mused, wondering if something like that would be allowed. On the topic of his family he said "My mother and I are the only ones who live in our house. But our entire tribe is very close so I consider them my family as well." he'd have felt bad if he left his mother if they hadn't all been close. For the most part at least "What are your families like?" he asked.

Vincent nodded, feeling just as optimistic as Estelle. "Then it is settled. We shall visit your country some time after graduation." At Rekka's confirmation of using his foxfire he smiled, hoping that the professors would allow the kitsune and the other beastkin to fight in their beastforms. Learning how to wield a weapon was all well and good but there was no sense in letting them neglect their natural skills. "I am sure they will let you. Not just so you will not forget how to fight effectively in your beastform but for our benefit as well. We need to be able to handle all sort of opponents. Not that we should have much reason to ever fight against your kind for real, of course." He was glad to hear that Rekka seemed to get along well with his family and tribe but at the kitsune's question his expression became more serious. "I get along with them well enough," Vincent replied after a while. "My father can be very strict but given our position that is to be expected. It doesn't really bother me, he and my mother have always been good parents to me. I just wish they would treat my sister the same way. Just because she was born without a crest they either pay no attention to her or act like she should be grateful that she hasn't been disowned by them." For a split second there was a dangerous glint in his eyes and he paused briefly to let his momentary anger pass. "It is the way of many noble families. Not all of them, fortunately, but many place far too much importance on crests." He then nodded towards Estelle, signaling that it was her turn now to talk about her family.

Estelle thought that to have an entire tribe feel like family must be a wonderful thing. Truth be told, it wasn't so different from how she felt about the astronomers who worked at the Observatory. When Vincent spoke of his own family, however, she found herself frowning sympathetically. Despite having known the other noble for a while, she had never really noticed the double standards the Marquardts had placed on their children. To her, it was odd to think that not all nobles treated their sons and daughters in the same way Altair did with her. "I live with my father," she begun once it was her turn to speak. "But although he is my only kin, the astronomers have always felt like family too. The ones who live with us, they have known me since I was a child! They practically helped raise me after my mother died and so I am eternally grateful to them... " That fond smile had crept back to her face now accompanied by a sudden pang of homesickness.

"No good with Reason magic too, huh?" Julius laughed. "Searc's probably right to ban you from using it then." Good to know that Neason didn't seem to be one of those who had a knack for Dark and Black magic. There were few things he hated more than seeing those worthless surface dwellers use the kind of magic he held in high regard. Accepting that some of the were able to use Black magic was bad enough but the very idea of those idiots being capable of Dark magic was an insult, plain and simple. "But White magic sounds good. There more of us know it the better. And don't worry, it's not that hard. If even I can learn the two most basic Faith spells then you won't mess up too bad either." That much had some truth to it at least. Having been raised to hate the church and the Goddess learning how to use white magic had proven to be difficult for him. At their talk about the horses he laughed. "I guess I'll find out when I'm assigned for Stable Duty. Definitely counting on you to defuse any bad situation between me and the horses."
Jasmine | Dining Hall | Ciarra
"I haven't been to Sreng yet, actually," Jasmine said, a little uncertain of whether she even wanted to visit it. "Back then, when I lived in Faerghus, there had been many conflicts between Sreng and the Kingdom. Sometimes it was so bad that even the common folk got dragged into it. Living near the border wasn't exactly the safest thing." Thankfully things seemed to have calmed down between the two sides, at least there hadn't been any real conflicts in the past three years. Maybe that was why the Officers Academy accepted students from Sreng? To try and keep things friendly? "I've been to Morfis a few times though and one time to Albinea," she continued. "Not far into the countries, never too far from the borders, but it's definitely a great experience every time. I can't imagine living in either country though." She gave a quiet laugh. "I'd love to see Brigid some time though!"
Agnar - Bridge - Jason
"I just hope he doesn't chat up the wrong person one day. Someone will have to bail him out if they don't take kindly to it and it's not gonna be me," Agnar joked. He didn't really mind Luca's flirting either but he did worry a little that not everyone would enjoy being on the receiving end. At Jason's concerns about Rieka he nodded. "I guess I get why you'd think that but so far she doesn't seem like the type to lash out so easily. As long as you don't pull her tail or ask how much her fur is you should be fine. It's probably the same for the other beastkin." He gave a slight smile. "I'm still surprised to see so many others like me though. I heard the other houses have students from other countries too. The Deer have a kitsune from Morfis, right? And the Eagles have students from Albinea and Sreng, just like the Lions."
Vincent - Marketplace - Estelle, Rekka
Vincent listened as Estelle spoke of her home and nodded. He'd already known before but now he couldn't help but notice that there were some similarities between her life at the observatory and the life Rekka's tribe seemed to have. It sounded nice, actually, having such a large "family." He offered a sympathetic smile as Estelle finished. Having to live away from them for a whole year must seemed hard to her. He kind of understood, knowing that he would miss his home too sooner or later. At Rekka's words he nodded. "I'll be looking forward to meeting them," he said and chuckled as the kitsune spoke of exploring to find somewhere fun. "This place is huge so there is much to see here. I haven't even seen half of it yet. Try not to get in trouble though, some areas are off limits and it is not just the archbishop's quarters from what I have heard." He didn't seriously expect Rekka to just barge into Lady Hera's room but he needed an example off what was an wasn't allowed here.

"Me too," Estelle chimed in after Vincent. If all the kitsune were as friendly as Rekka, she could see herself getting along with each and every one of them. As the conversation turned to exploring and restricted areas, she considered where she wanted to go given the chance. "I am interested in the Goddess Tower," she admitted, glancing behind them as if she expected to see the tower looming overhead. "Is that place restricted? I'm sure it would give us a beautiful view of the entire monastery!" Off the top of her head, she wasn't certain whether the Goddess Tower was sacred and thus off-limits to the students or not. The archbishop's chamber made sense, of course. Students would probably just interrupt Lady Hera's important work.

When Estelle brought up the Goddess Tower Vincent nodded in agreement but at the same time he wondered whether it was restricted or not. He was sure his father, who had attended the academy once too, had once mentioned that the tower was quite popular among students. But from what he had picked up from the talk among the knights and church staff it seemed like it was off-limits. "I think only the archbishop may enter," he said carefully. "However, my father told me that many students had been to the tower. Perhaps it is open to the students on rare occasions?"
(Forget about the students interrupting Hera's work if they barged into her chamber. They'd be horrified to just see how messy her room is. Maybe one class gets to see the tower even before the Great Ball. It's one of the places that would have to be defended during the Blue Sea Moon after all. Not the most enjoyable visit but who cares ^^ Also, do you think the students can visit the Star Terrace? It's on the third floor of the Reception Hall, just like Hera's chamber, so I'm not sure.)

Estelle pouted in her disappointment. She would have liked to spend time there as she had done the top floor of the Observatory, taking advantage of Fódlan's starry nights. "Well, that is a shame," she responded although it did make sense. It was likely called the 'Goddess' Tower for a reason, it was little wonder the place was off-limits. "Perhaps you are correct. I am not especially familiar with Garreg Mach's annual events, but I did overhear one of the other students saying something about a ball? Or was it a rite? Maybe a festival?" She shook her head, unable to recall exactly what she'd heard. "Does any of that ring a bell, Vincent? Count Marquardt was a student here too, was he not?"
(Oh boy, that would be something.
"Uh, Lady Hera, is the floor littered with tea leaves? What's that statue of the Goddess doing half-shoved under the bed?"
Yeah. I guess the Cathedral and front gate would also be places of interest?
Thats a weird one. I guess not if we're judging by the game. I kinda got the impression that not even professors are allowed up to the third floor since Byleth only gets to go after major story events.
EDIT: unless you count Rhea's supports lol)

Trying to think of what that rare occasion could have been he only half listened to the options Estelle was listing but something did give him the feeling that he had heard about it before. "He was," Vincent confirmed. "Father had told me about the annual events once. Let's see..." he quietly listed off some of the festivals and shook his head but after a while he looked up again with a confident smile. "I believe he must have spoken off the Great Ball," he said. "It is held near the end of the Ethereal Moon though so it is unlikely that we will be allowed to enter the Goddess Tower any time soon."
(Most would be shocked while others will be like "Hey, this feels just like home! My room's like that too, you know!")
(Probably. So we have the tower, the mausoleum (which is part of the cathedral) and the front gate. Looks like we have our three locations. Now each class can guard one!
I think some support conversations were held at the terrace, or at least it looked like they did. But then again this is our rp and we can make some exceptions! Maybe people are allowed to visit the Star Terrace during some nights or with permission? And yikes, you just had to remind me of Rhea's support convos. I was trying to forget them, some of them were kinda creepy xD)
(I'm assuming Luca is still sitting around near the training area in the knight's hall, as the Lions have trained there and he was still there after class. If not, feel free to ignore this, Spark)
Callan | Training Grounds -> Knights' Hall | Silke (mentioned), Luca
Callan had practiced his magic some more but after a while he had watched the two other students' sparring match. It seeed like the Black Eagles would be hard to deal with, at least if everyone was like those two. When one of them left, Callan decided to leave too, not wanting to give the Eagles' house leader a chance to try and talk him into a training match. He didn't mind practicing some more, whether it was with spells or a weapon, but he wasn't going to do so in the presence of Silke. Not a chance. He wasn't too bad with a sword but there was no way he could hope to win against someone like that. So he silently made his way to the knight's hall, another good place to train. He quickly peeked inside to see if any knights were there and when he didn't see any he looked for the training weapons. Now armed with a sword he walked to the training area and began with a few swings. Then he lowered the sword, leaped forward and cast a Miasma spell into one direction. While the spell was done well he had timed his jump poorly and stumbled back as he landed. He spun around as he bumped into something "Sorry!" he quickly apologized but no sooner had he finished that word he saw that it was just one of the training dummies. "Oh. I thought you were a person." He grimaced, realizing how dumb that sounded and glanced around, hoping that no one had seen or, more importantly, heard that. He lowered his gaze when he spotted another student sitting near the wall of the training area. How had he nod noticed before? "Uh... hi," he greeted the other student with an awkward smile, feeling that he should at the very least acknowledge him.

"Oh, so there is a ball? It has been a while since I have attended one." Estelle imagined waltzing in the reception hall, draped in fine silks, the ceiling swirling above her in a blur of light. She had always been fond of festivities regardless of their purpose, and had had the good fortune to attend many growing up. Ballroom dancing and social networking was almost like second nature now. "A welcome break from all the combat lessons, I would wager. I shall look foreword to it!"
(Does Estelle know that Vincent has a hobby of dress-making?
Alright! What exceptions though? During events like the Goddess Tower? As a reward?
Haha! Rhea was pretty creepy to begin with, her supports were just the cherry on the cake, so to speak!)

He sticks mostly to weapons, rather then using magic." He took some food, as he headed for a table, already eating as he walked. "I got your back, maybe we can get assigned on stable duty together!" he thought over white magic again. "Hmm hopefully it won't be to hard to learn those spells, maybe it could come in handy in learning reason magic?" Ciarra-Dining Hall-Jasmine Wip Jason-Bridge-Agnar "Yea someone should be there to reel him in," Jason agreed with him. Jason thought over what Agnar said, in regards to the beastkin. A small frown formed on his face. "People steal there fur? Why?" He gave a small shrug at the last few comments. He gave a slight smile. "It is good to seeing other people getting let in from the outside countries though." He knew he was working against said students, but he had to show interest and be welcoming to it, not wanting to raise alarms. Though there was a part of him that was generally curious of the outsiders. i never did rheas support i think the highest i ever got her was c, otherwise i stayed far away from her) |

The kitsune had listened to the other two chat with interest, but he didn't have much knowledge of what they were speaking about so he didn't comment. He tilted his head at the mention of the festivities. They had their own sort of parties where he was from, but this sounded interesting! "That does sound like fun! I hope it happens soon, I've always wanted to see what kind pf parties you guys have." he had no dancing skills whatsoever, but a ball would be fun either way!
Luca | with Callan
He'd ended up napping in the training area, the bruise on his face still somewhat sore. However, when the other came wandering in he had woken up and had been watching the other move with interest. When he was finally noticed Luca grinned widely "Well hello there! You seem to have been distracted. I'm hurt, I can't believe someone as wonderful as I was missed." he said it in a lightly joking tone, not wanting the other to think he was actually mad or anything.

It was going to be a lot of fun introducing Rekka to all the various events. "Like the Harvest Festival - that one is at the end of the Horsebow Moon - or the Spring Gala during the Harpstring Moon. Not to mention the Lantern Festival! I do so hope we get to celebrate all of them whilst we are here." She took a bite of the baked good which looked to be some form of fruit-filled pastry. "Do you think Morfis have any of the same festivals as us?"

"I don't see why not. They are important festivals all across Fódlan so I don't doubt that we get to celebrate them," Vincent said and nodded at Estelle's question. "They may have their own festivals and traditions but perhaps they share some of ours? Now I am curious about the other countries too." He looked over at Rekka then. "What kind of celebrations and events do the kitsune have? There must be some that are unique to them or at least to your tribe."
Julius - Dining Hall - Neason
"I hear our professor specialises in black magic so maybe you could give it a try," Julius suggested as he grabbed some food as well and followed Neason to one of the tables. At the thought of getting assigned on stable duty together he laughed. "Definitely one of the better outcomes. Not that I can say much about the others of course. Except maybe for Rekka," he said with a grin. He thought over what Neason had said about learning magic. "They really aren't too hard to learn. Not sure about it being helpful for learning reason magic though. Faith and Reason work differently, after all." he told him then. "I think knowing dark magic can help with learning black magic and vice versa as both are forms of reason-based magic. But for Faith there's only white magic."
Agnar - Bridge - Jason
"Some people would do anything for gold," Agnar said, trying to sound matter-of-factly but he couldn't hide a small hint of disdain. "I suppose it's also because they view wolfskin, and probably other beastkin too, as inferior. To them it's no different from hunting animals." He snorted and shook his head. "Too greedy to just settle for 'normal' fur but too cowardly to go for Demonic Beasts instead." At Jason's next statement he smiled. "It really is. Not only do we get to see much of Fódlan, we also get to learn more about the culture here and your peoples' fighting styles. It's a great learning opportunity." He chuckled a little at that. "Won't that give us an unfair advantage over you though? Unless we show off some of our own techniques too, I guess."
Callan - Knights' Hall - Luca
Callan gave a slight nervous laugh and nodded. "Sorry. Guess I've been focused too much on finding somewhere else to train," he said. He slowly made his way over to the other boy as it would probably have been rude to go right back to training. As he got closer he noticed the bruise on the other's face and winced a little. "Ouch. How'd that happen? Ah, sorry," he immediately apologized, hoping the other boy didn't take offence at his blunt remark.

"We have festivals for good hunting, some for magic, and one every new year." Rekka replied, nodding "There's also a very large festival during the fall that focuses on our foxfire magic. It's really fun! We all get to show off our powers, and those who have recently gained their ability are called out."

Luca sighed and placed a hand on his chest dramatically "Unfortunately there was a small misstep during training, my beautiful face took the brunt of it. I do hope it will recover." he moved to stand and looked Callan up and down "Fortunately a little bit of blood and bruises only work to enhance my charm. It gives me something of a rugged look, does it not?"

"Ooh, how interesting," Estelle breathed. She was definitely of the opinion that festivals were tons of fun regardless of where they originated or were celebrated. The ones Rekka listed off sounded as though they had some points of commonality with what she was used to and yet they were very different at the same time. "It does sound like fun!" Realising that they'd been walking for a while, she looked up at the sky which was now beginning to darken. Soon the merchants would start to pack up their stalls, ready to head back into town. "They will want us to return to our dorms soon, I think."

"It really does. I would love to see some of them, especially the one during the fall." Not that he expected much, it seemed likely enough that the kitsune wouldn't want to let humans join them. Some of those festivals did seem to be very special to them, after all. But if the other kitsune were anything like Rekka then there maybe was a chance. "I hope you will enjoy our events and festivities. They may be different from what you are used to but at the same time a few of them might be familiar to you in a way," Vincent said. He nodded at Estelle's observation. "In that case we should head back soon. Since we are in a group we wouldn't break the nighttime rule if we were late but I'd rather not use a technicality like that as an excuse."
Callan - Knights' Hall - Luca
"Does any of your classmates know white magic? Maybe they could help," Callan suggested carefully. He didn't want Luca to take offense at him stating such a simple solution but he would feel bad if he didn't try to help out a little. As he noticed the other looking him up and down Callan lowered his gaze again and fought the urge to just step back. "Y-yeah, I guess it does," he said, as a 'not really' would probably be the wrong answer. However he couldn't hold back a jokingly "Better not tell everyone how you really got it though. Think of something more... dramatic."

"Boo, already?" Rekka pouted "I guess we'll have to come out again some other time. There's still so much to see!" he turned and followed after the two other students, occasionally getting distracted by a stand or person. He was glad he'd managed to look around, but even more so that he was able to do it with others. Rekka really felt like he'd made some good friends here already.
Luca | with Callan
"While I am usually more than happy to be given attention, the use of magic for a little wound like this is a bit much." Luca laughed, gesturing idly with a hand. When Callan joked, he chuckled and continued "You're right there! Perhaps I should make up a grand tale of danger and heroism. Not that I'm sure many people wouldn't believe it." he glanced up at the sky and tilted his head "Seems like it's about time for people to be returning."

"Maybe they'll appreciate the chance to practice," Callan replied with a shrug and a slight grin. When the other boy chuckled he took that as a good sign. Maybe he didn't have to worry too much about what was and wasn't acceptable to say after all. For now it seemed like Luca wasn't one to get upset at such remarks. "I think something really absurd could work too. Especially if it's at least somewhat possible." As Luca glanced up at the sky he nodded. "Too bad we can't stay outside at night," he said quietly, more to himself. While it was probably just his imagination it always seemed like he had an even easier time focusing on practicing his dark magic at night. He quickly returned the sword to the bag of training weapons and then headed over to the entrance, glancing at Luca as he passed him. "Guess we should go back then."

Estelle finished off her fruit-filled pastry, still looking up at the darkening sky. How surreal it was that she was now attending the world-renowned Garreg Mach Academy, getting the chance to speak to and befriend students from all over. Here they were, three people from three completely different places - Adrestia, Leicester and Morfis - and yet Vincent and Rekka didn't feel so different from her at all. It helped that she already knew one of them, of course but it was thrilling nonetheless. "Thank you both for a wonderful time! As always, it was nice to talk with you, Vincent. Rekka, I look foreword to training alongside you for the coming year!" She turned to walk back the way she and Rekka had come. "We really ought to do this again sometime!"

"Yeah! I had a lot of fun." Rekka agreed, "Next time we'll have to see if we can drag some other students down here with us, they're certainly missing out. Or we could wander around someplace new. Either way, I'm happy to come along." he walked beside Estelle, figuring they'd head back in the same general direction as they were in the same house.

"Hmmm, good point good point! I'd have to swear you to secrecy, and not speak to anyone who witnessed it, but it would work!" his tone was joking, indicating that even with his confidence he wasn't sure he could get away with something like that. But that didn't seem to dampen his mood as he continued "Indeed, I wonder what they'd do to us if they caught us outside. Not that I'm planning on doing so unless I can get someone to break the rules with me." he laughed.

"There will be plenty more opportunities for us to talk," Vincent said, addressing both of them. He chuckled a bit as Rekka talked about bringing other students down here. The kitsune sure seemed to enjoy getting to know new people. "In that case you should go see the town. It has even more to offer than the marketplace." He glanced towards the Entrance Hall but as Estelle turned to walk in the direction where the fishing pond and the dining hall were he decided to follow. "Is that the way you two came? I got here by walking through the Entrance Hall but I suppose it doesn't make too much of a difference."
Callan - Knights' Hall -> Dorms - Luca
"You have my word then," Callan replied, bowing jokingly as he spoke. With that out of the way he stepped outside to slowly head back to the dorms. "I'd rather not find out," he said as Luca spoke about the nighttime rule. "They won't expel us, will they?" At the last remark he snorted to try and hide a chuckle. He had no doubt that there were some people willing to break the rules, maybe even in his own class. Not that he could say for sure as he didn't know them well enough. "But maybe we can go outside on some nights. I heard that some events will be held in the evening hours." As they passed the Reception Hall he kept glancing at the buildings around the place and the paths in the courtyard. "It sure looks different now with only a little sunlight left. I really want to see it at night sometime. Some of the trees here could look a little eerie on some nights. And the buildings could seem inviting, mysterious or even threatening, depending on the moonlight. The pond would be really interesting too..." he trailed of as he noticed that he had just went on and on about the effects light and shadow could have on this place and lowered his gaze, just focusing on the path ahead. "Sorry. Do me a favor and forget, well.., that."

"Yes, we just took a random direction and it worked out," Estelle admitted cheerfully, looking to Rekka, who clearly had a great penchant for exploring. "I will have to remember that the Entrance Hall is a viable way to get there as well." She walked in the direction of the greenhouse and the noble dorms. Having just eaten something, she didn't feel the need to go back to the Dining Hall even though she knew dinner was available. "Are you both retiring for the evening then?" She inquired once they were drawing near to the steps that led up to the second floor of dorms.
