(Some starters)
Rainpaw sat outside the apprentice's den, having watched everything that had happened with wide eyes filled with shock. Her claws dug into the ground anxiously as tension seemed to be growing within the Clan and shrunk back from the small arguments that had started to break out. What's going to happen now? Was Spiritstar really turning her back on StarClan, as well as her own deputy?
Ebonywillow lashed her tail in frustration, not agreeing with how quickly Spiritstar had denounced StarClan. How could she say such things?! Whitesun at least deserves to have a search patrol be sent out for him and Jadefeather!
Kestrelfrost padded towards Dreamlily, having seen her interaction with her sister. "You alright?" He asked, giving a worried flick of his ear. The tension within the Clan was concerning, and the amount of his Clanmates that seemed to agree with Spiritstar's comments about StarClan worried him quite a bit as well.

Echowing gave Mudwasp a small yet approving look, before she hid her internal thoughts on the matter and airily agreed with him. "I knew it was trouble. Now we've paid the price. And Starclan hasn't been any help at all. No signs, no guidance. Spiritstar has a point... I think it's proof now that they want to make us all suffer." She growled quietly, inwardly hoping for Starclan's praise to crumble in the Clan. Withermist suddenly seemed to gasp, as though he had felt something sharp in his head. He stared forwards, looking utterly shaken as he breathed. "She's gone..." He leaned close to Frostlight, eyes wild with grief. "It's all empty now. I feel... I feel nothing." He closed his eyes. "Spiritstar, and whatever was inside of her, they're gone. We can't say it, we... the Clan will panic." He whispered to her. "Then we'll persuade every Warrior to look! What other choice do we have? We can't wait for them to be killed out there, or eaten by dogs, or all that horrible stuff! They'd search for us, we just just have to get enough cats to break a little rule or two, cats have done more for less, right?" Emberpaw pleaded, her voice quaking with emotion. Mudwasp gave an irritated huff, anger at what StarClan has been putting SkyClan through starting to grow in his chest. "We don't deserve this treatment for them. Why do you think they're doing this to us? Why must we suffer like this?" He questioned, looking at her to see if she had any answers. Frostlight's ears flattened against her head, blinking rapidly at him as he spoke. "Gone? As in..." Frostlight trailed off, not wanting finish that question. She had the feeling that she already knew the answer to it anyways. "So... we just keep it to ourselves?" She whispered back, watching him closely. Hawkpaw was still for a long moment before giving a small nod, "There might be a few Warrior's here who might be willing to ignore Spiritstar's order and help us." She mewed quietly, glancing around at their clanmates. "Snowtalon might help us." Hawkpaw added, spotting their uncle talking with Tricklefrost. Echowing narrowed her eyes, claws extending into the stone below her as she grit out. “Probably because cats like Frostyfoot broke the Code over and over, the same one Starclan made to keep us all in line. So long as cats like me live, Starclan will always hate us.” She narrowed her eyes. “Spiritstar’s right. If they turn their backs on us, I say we turn our backs on them.” “Gone…” Withermist repeated, before he rasped. “But, it might be good, in a way. I can’t feel Spiritstar in the Dark Place. So, she’s not there. Starclan. She’d make it to Starclan.” He decided, before he whimpered. “The truth will come out if we tell or we don’t tell. We just… wait.” He pleaded. “Snowtalon!” Emberpaw brightened hopefully, even as her anger at Starclan and Spiritstar simmered. “He has to help! He wouldn’t let his own brother be lost without at least trying to help, right? We can go ask him, and he can get other Warriors to help. Maybe the Senior Warriors will help make a search patrol.” She decided.

Her heart ached painfully for Silvercloud, and Spiritstar’s outburst had frightened her immensely. She took a long breath, looking up at Kestrelfrost as she admitted quietly. “I feel like everything’s falling apart. I… I have to have faith that Starclan wouldn’t punish us like this. Because if they did, then I can’t help but think it’s true then, that my birth was so forbidden that now the Clan is paying for it.” She closed her eyes.

𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢 )) "That sounds fun!" Ledgepaw agreed with a small smile, unaware of what had happened in camp, or what had happened across the territory. All he knew was that he had completed his first squirrel catch, and he was hopeful to share the news with his mother and sisters. Sunnypaw was always out and about with Bloodrime, but Rainpaw usually got to train with him because Starlingdust and Bluewing liked eachother a whole lot. He picked up the squirrel proudly, ready to head to camp. "Snowtalon..." Tricklefrost approached the tom, her eyes imploring as she watched the beginnings of Silvercloud's vigil. She looked around, before she mewed lightly. "We'll have to send a patrol out. I'm sure Warblerwind will have her see sense, mothers listen to their kits." She tried to soothe, before her voice lowered and she mewed almost secretively. "Or, we'll take matters into our own paws, if we must..." Frozen )) "Starclan, I haven't even thought of that!" Buzzardfall breathed, her eyes wide with worry. "If Spiritstar refuses to send a patrol, surely she can't think about naming a new deputy so soon? That... that just feels like we've tossed Whitesun to the side..." She mourned, before she shook her head. "Surely we can survive a bit until we find him, right?" "No... not Whitesun. Not after all he's done for us." Firefang sighed, wondering what was going on between Spiritstar and Warblerwind right now. "We have to go look for him. But who can organize a search?" he mewed, feeling a sense of resolve. Even though Silvercloud was gone, he could still try and find the missing warriors.

Mudwasp lashed his tail in anger, his eyes narrowing, "But why should our whole Clan have to accept such punishments? Frostyfoot and Opalmist were the ones who broke the code! Not us, or you for that matter!" He growled lowly. As much as he hated what Frostyfoot had done, he could never blame Echowing for being born. The thought that StarClan would punish SkyClan for her mere existence was frustrating and infuriating. "You didn't chose your parents, and it isn't your fault that you were born. They shouldn't give us such tragedies for codebreaking that had nothing to do with us!"
Frostlight was still for a moment before giving her mate a small nod, "Okay, I won't tell anyone about it." She mewed to him quietly, reaching forward and nuzzling him gently. "Don't worry, Withermist. We'll get through this, we just need to stay strong, okay?"
Hawkpaw nodded, "Let's wait until everyone starts to calm down. Everyone's really worked up right now, and I don't want to accidentally ask the wrong Warrior that will tell Spiritstar." She mewed. Looking at her sister, Hawkpaw sighed sadly and pressed against her. "I... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you earlier. You didn't deserve that." She said quietly, feeling guilty for her earlier outburst.
Kestrelfrost rested his tail tip on Dreamlily's shoulder, "None of this is your fault. Everything that's happened, I don't think that StarClan is to blame for it. And neither are you, okay?" He mewed gently, wanting to reassure her. "SkyClan has been through worse before, and I believe that we'll get through this too."

Sunnypaw shook her head quickly. “Pah! I wish we could go out on our own anytime we like. With the prey-maulers around, Whitesun said we couldn’t leave without a Warrior. Maybe we can get one to take us out. I’d offer to sneak out with you but… it’s not really a good time for me to push anyone’s whiskers, right now.” She laughed sheepishly. "Prey maulers..?" She asked What the heck are those? she thought curiously, "what are those? "

Her throat felt tight, and she cried out. "Quickwing, it has to have been some kind of... misunderstanding, or something! I know Warblerwind! He wouldn't... he couldn't do that, could he? He couldn't! Not to his mother, he loved Spiritstar more than anything!" She tried to reason, even as her eyes burned with tears. "What are we going to do? If Spiritstar's died, then Skyclan's left powerless!" She choked.

The bad floodwaters from Shadowclan’s direction likely flowed into the gorge, and made the rapids even worse than usual. She choked out. “I don’t know, Quickwing! I just don’t know! He looked over at where Mudwasp and Echowing had gone, giving a weary flick of his ear, "I don't like how it seems to be tearing our Clan apart. There has to be something that we can do to help keep the Dark Forest at bay." He murmured.

“She said she was frightened of anymore cats dying… but Warriors know we could die.” Cloudberry murmured softly, seeming conflicted as she mewed. “This is how Adderclan started. Losing faith in Starclan… but it’s easy to do so, when it feels like everything is being punished, and cats are dying.” She sighed heavily, before she mewed. “Maybe she’ll see sense when she comes back.” Clovertail narrowed her eyes, Adderclan again. It seemed to be popping up everywhere, but what that meant she didn’t know. “Well I’ll stay true to them, they are always there, even if we can’t feel them. I don’t think they guide us, more like look over us, and try to tell us about the worst so that we are prepared” Clovertail wasn’t sure if that made much sense, but no matter. “What do you think of the dark forest? I hear it’s gaining activity again, could that mean anything?” This was a worrying thought, a thought that she had pushed to the back of her head many times. But, no cat better to ask then a warrior who had survived Adderclan when it had been at large.

Spiderbite let out a long sigh, but his fur still prickled. So, other cats were noticing it too? How Spiritstar seemed to have done a complete 180 from ye kind and gentle leader they knew her as. "I will speak with her when she returns." Spiderbite pulled the herbs to himself to indicate to Basilpaw he was ready to go back to Silvercloud's body. "we'll figure this out. There has to an explanation behind her behavior. There always is. Right now, Spiritstar is grieving. Lavendersky always said that cats who grieve need our support more then the cats we've lost. I'm sure StarClan will prove themselves to her and we'll be on the right path again." He picked up his herbs and looked at Basilpaw. "We'll be alright," he mewed through the herbs. "I'm sure of it."

Her fur was chilly, no warmth came from it, and that made Plumwillow’s eyes well with tears.

Maybe Starclan isn't to blame at all. Maybe this was all a trick, set up by the Dark Forest." She narrowed her eyes darkly. "I'm determined now, that the Dark Forest's already poked around Skyclan. Some cats are so spiteful and hateful that they can only have been taught that by them." Mudwasp looked at Echowing thoughtfully, wondering just how freeing it would be to break away from StarClan and their beliefs. "What does it feel like? To be free from StarClan's rule?" He asked, curious to know exactly what Echowing felt on the subject. "We can't let whatever is going on here break us down, okay?" Frostlight murmured to him, giving his cheek a lick. It made her heart ache when she saw Withermist like this, and she wanted to do anything she could to make her mate feel better. "We have to be stronger than them and not give them the chance to hurt us." Hawkpaw gave a small nod, glad that Emberpaw wasn't upset with her. "I... I don't want to lose you, or our parents." She mewed, sighing sadly. "I just wish I was able to be with them and help them. Instead I was off hunting while they were being attacked." "StarClan can't be the one that's causing all of this. I just don't believe that they would." Kestrelfrost said, nodding in agreement with her. He looked over at where Mudwasp and Echowing had gone, giving a weary flick of his ear, "I don't like how it seems to be tearing our Clan apart. There has to be something that we can do to help keep the Dark Forest at bay." He murmured. “I don’t feel guilty about things I can’t control anymore. I don’t need a code of rules to hunt for the Queens and Kits, or fight for my Clan, or get the respect I deserve.” Echowing explained, lifting her chin. “I tried it Starclan’s way, and clearly it wasn’t good enough.” “I wish I could do more… I’m supposed to be different. I thought I could help with this… realization about myself.” Withermist murmured, before he swallowed. “All I can do is feel it, and I feel so much anger. Vengeance. Not from me, but… them.” He admitted. “I wish I was normal. Like you.” “You won’t lose me.” Emberpaw decided firmly, eyes blazing with determination. “I’ll be stronger than ever, and I’ll make sure the both of us are safe. Starclan may have given up on us, but I never will.” She muttered the last part, stubborn now to go through with Goldfire’s offer to train her. “It’s not your fault, Hawkpaw.” “You can’t force a cat to change.” Dreamlily muttered softly, her eyes both bitter and pained, before she looked at Kestrelfrost. “But I can surround myself with good cats who act with kindness, and not bitterness. Cats like you, with good hearts.” She admitted. “That’s the Skyclan I know and love, brave yet kind.”

“The Dark Forest is obsessed with making us suffer. Their anger and envy make them weak and cowardly.” Cloudberry decided sharply, surprisingly aggressive for the soft she-cat. She shook her head. “I fought and killed cats that reside there now to get back Skyclan. If they try it again, I’ll just do it again.”

"I'm sure of it." Feeling a bit more secure at Spiderbite’s assurance, Basilpaw found his fears beginning to wane. He quickly offered. “I can help you bring the herbs over. Uhm… thank you, Spiderbite. For what it’s worth, I trust you more than anyone when it comes to what Starclan wants. So if you say it’s true, then it’s got to be.” He shook the fears from his mind, feeling better than before.

"Interesting," Viperpaw remarked, "Well, what are the chances we run into them? Not very likely, especially since I plan on hunting near the twoleg place, I doubt they'll be there. Please come with me? I'm going either way but I guess it would be nice to have company, I'm board right now and the only way to fix that is to do something," Viperpaw paused her grooming and shook her pelt out, standing up she started toward the den entrance, "Well?" She asked turning her head back to her new friend. “Aghhh! Fine, fine! But we can’t go far, got it? And if we get caught, it was all your idea and I was never here.” Sunnypaw sighed, looking around quickly before she slipped out of the apprentice’s den. Maybe the Clan wouldn’t even notice they were gone. Viperpaw grinned, "Okay," she replied simply and raced out with the other apprentice, swiftly yet casually walking out of camp with her friend. Once they got out of the camp Viperpaw thought for a moment, she didn't know this territory as well as Sunnypaw did, and it would be better to question her about it, "Whats the best place to hunt? But isn't too far?"

But Bloodrime’s been teaching me how to hunt birds near the maple trees.” She nodded towards a patch of trees along a ridge in the near distance. “We just have to climb up one ledge, then we’re good to go!”

Willow )) "Safe travels. And good luck, with Lightningstar. I won't forget that you brought Silvercloud home to us. I promise." Flarestorm mewed to Nettlepatch and Ravenshade, his resolve strong to one day repay them for their actions. He watched them go, sighing heavily and feeling anguish run through him. "Skyflight." As if reading the senior Warrior's stance, Poppyclaw called her over from his spot as he finished arraigning Silvercloud properly to be pressed with herbs. He looked serious, voice low as he mewed. "We'll need to find a way to get everything back in order if Spiritstar comes back in the same state she left in. Without Whitesun here, we're sitting leaderless." He glanced around sharply. Nettlepatch dipped his head to Flarestorm one more time, "Thank you. I wish you the best of luck. We will send a patrol to the border if we receive any news." Glancing back over his shoulder one more time, he padded toward the border back home. Skyflight nodded gravely. "We can't let the clan fall into chaos. Spiritstar and Whitesun have led our clan together in peace for many many moons. With Whitesun gone and Spiritstar.. seemingly affected there is going to be a lot of change. When Spiritstar returns we must force her to choose a new deputy. Even if it is just temporary."

"Slateheart didn't deserve that. And that's proof that something's terribly wrong." Willownose agreed with a lash of her tail. She looked at Ashfeather with concern. "Are you holding up with all this? And your apprentice?" "We'll be alright. Redspring and I were discussing earlier how the twolegplace patrol was taking so long to get back while you were out on your border patrol. I'm very relieved to see you got back safely. Are both of you holding up okay?" Ashfeather asked, glancing between the two of them.

Quickwing hurried into the water, shivering as the cool water covered his paws and splashed her legs. She moved to help grab Spiritstar’s body, yanking hard and pulling the leader up onto the shore. She panted lightly, pressing her ear to her chest. “She’s not breathing.” She spoke softly. “But hopefully she’ll come back in a minute.”
