Welcome to Darkclan!!Introduction:
You’re padding along in the forest, and you scent unfamiliar cats, but think nothing of it, because the scent is stale. Deeper into the forest you go and suddenly you hear a rustling sound from behind you. Turning around you call, "Who's there?" The ferns break apart when a beautiful ash gray she cat with bright blue eyes walks out of the underbrush. She darts out and tackles you into the dirt with a snarl. "Who are you and why are you in my territory?" You look at her eyes wide not knowing anyone lived here and you quickly say your name. Your first thought is to throw her off and run for it, but then more cats walk out from the underbrush and circle you in. "I was only looking around." Your voice sounds a bit shaky, there is no way you can take on all seven cats. The beautiful she cat nodded and lets you up."I am Ashstar leader of Darkclan either join us or die."History of the Clan:A long time ago a she-cat and her kits were the only survivors of a major battle. between her father's clan and her mate's clan. After the battle there was nothing but ruins to and bodies in their forest home. The single she-cat marched on with her two kits and went to find a new home. They traveled many moons to this forest. Some rogues and loners joined them on the way and together they formed this clan. The mother, Snow, found a mate named Dark. He lead the clan that thrives here. Many seasons have passed since then and a new generation has begun to lead them. Darkclan Territory:A thick forest surrounded by rivers on all four sides. Most of the trees are oak and reach high into the sky. During Greenleaf very little sun gets into the undergrowth. There are patches of sunlight that peek through the trees. By the rivers the sun is the warmest and most prominent. The camp is at the center surrounded by brambles and bushes. Not far from the camp is two sandy dunes, where the apprentices train.
Rules: ~No stealing any cat or animal. No kidnapping No hostages No slaves or any other kind of stealing/killing if you do so you will be ignored ~No super powers or things like that. If you truly want your cat to be “special” ask me first. ~No god-modding ~No force mating ~Please do not swear ~No spamming if you wish for someone to go somewhere that is another story. If you wish for someone to join your clan ask to post the link first. I get that sometimes there is nothing really to say other than that but if you can try not to just post one line posts. ~Please do not make your cats mates, that takes away some of the fun of them falling in love. And if you can, don't make them mates right away, let their love grow and flower.

Cats of the Clan
LEADER:Ashstar- A light gray she-cat with darker flecks. Both of her front paws are white. Her eyes are a light blue color with darker blue flecks in them. She is 37 moons old. She is clan born. Ashstar loves to hunt and is normally level headed and calm. She can spike a temper if she is really agitated, but normally keeps a cool mind, because of her leadership role. Ashstar is not afraid to fight for what is right and often speaks her mind, even if others do not agree with her opinion. Ashstar grew up under Darkstar's leadership. Ashfur could always defend herself, but she loved how her brother tried to save her, even when she didn't need it. When she was picked for Deputy all she could see was the hatred in her brother’s eyes. She never knew if it was towards her or Darkstar. Ashstar believed he hated her, especially after he left. She only has seen him one time since he left. She'd been alone by the river at night, not long after Darkstar had died. She was a new leader and she needed a moment of peace. She felt his eyes on her pelt and he made the small mistake of moving on the branch. The branch creaked at his movements and she spotted him, only for a moment, but she knew it was him. She could never forget his blue eyes staring at her in the cold of the night. ~<3wildmask<3

Shadowstone -A large, muscular, white tom with dark gray paws, tail tip, and ears. His eyes are a dark ember. He’s 18 moons old. He is in love with Ashstar. Born in the clan, his mentor was Ashstar. He has been in love with her for many moons. His mother always taught him to only trust Ashstar. He doesn't show it often, but he hates the Deputy because he was clearly in love with her. He is loyal and strong and would do anything to defend his clan, but he doesn't often socialize with them. ~<3wildmask<3
FEMALE WARRIORS: Applefur- A dark red she-cat with white on her paws and tail tip. Her eyes are a crystal blue. This 35 moon old she-cat loves to play and have fun. Her sister Snow passed away while they were travelling. The two of them had been loners for a long time. She was known as Apple during that time. Now she is loyal and willing to die for her clan. Applefur is expecting Night’s kits. ~<3wildmask<3
Darkflower- A white she-cat with dark gray paws and dark blue eyes. She is 38 moons old. Her son is Shadowstone. She was found at 8 moons old by Darkstar, her mentor became Darkstar, and she was loyal to him and his favorite apprentice Ashpaw. Darkflower raised Shadowstone to be loyal to Ashstar and no one else. The two of them do not get along with many of the others, but they would defend their clan. ~<3wildmask<3
QUEENS: Ashflower- A light gray she-cat with dark blue eyes.She is 36 moons old.This young she-cat is very kind and caring.She simply adores kits. Her unborn kits are going to be born soon, but no one knows the father. This she-cat was once a rogue leader and left them when they were all killed by a pack of wild dogs. She then joined the clan with the former leader Darkstar a few moons before Ashstar became leader. Her kits are Dovepaw, Poppypaw, Darkpaw, Bramblepaw, Flowerpaw, and Wildpaw. Her brother was thrown out of the clan many moons ago for killing Darkstar. ~<3wildmask<3

His mother is Ashfur and his father is unknown. He has 5 siblings. His two brothers are Wildpaw, and Bramblepaw. His three sisters are Flowerpaw, Dovepaw and Poppypaw. Wildpaw- A dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes. He is 9 moons old. He is exactly as his name portrays, wild. He is rambunctious and loves to play, sometimes he takes it too far, but always apologizes and listens to his mother's scoldings. His mother is Ashflower and his father is unknown. He has 5 siblings. His two brothers are Darkpaw, and Bramblepaw. His three sisters are Dovepaw, Flowerpaw, and Poppypaw. He was born into the clan. ~<3wildmask<3
Dovepaw- A light gray she-cat with dark blue eyes. She is 9 moons old. This little kit is adventurous and adorable. She always knows how to be cute when she gets into trouble. She may disobey her mother at times, but when it is truly important she wouldn't cross her mother for the world. Her mother is Ashflower and her father is unknown. She has 5 siblings. Her three brothers are Darkpaw, Wildpaw, and Bramblepaw. Her sister are Flowerpaw and Poppypaw. She was born into the clan ~<3wildmask<3.
Poppypaw- A small light brown tabby she-cat with dark blue eyes. She is 9 moons old. She is often quiet, but loves to play. She is the runt of the litter and is always trying to live up to her bigger litter-mates expectations. Her mother is Ashflower and her father is unknown. She has 5 siblings. Her three brothers are Darkpaw, Wildpaw, and Bramblepaw. Her sisters are Dovepaw and Flowerpaw. She was born into the clan. ~<3wildmask<3
Flowerpaw- A 9 moon old she kit who is dark gray and has dark amber eyes. She is a playful she-kit with a lot of energy and bubbly personality. Born into the clan from her mother Ashflower. Her father is unknown. Her five siblings are Darkpaw, Bramblepaw, Dovepaw, Poppypaw, and Wildpaw. ~<3wildmask<3
ROGUES/LONERS: Night- A large dark gray tom with amber eyes. He has a long scar across his side. His claws are abnormally long and sharp. His left ear is missing a chunk out of it. He is scary looking. He is 32 moons old. He is Ashstar’s brother. Night was born in a clan. Night hate the cats after his sister was made Deputy instead of him. He left on his own and fought to survive. His hatred of clans is what made him join other rogues and begin forming a rogue clan. They worked side by side in their plot to destroy Darkclan. He is vengeful, and full of hatred. When they were scouting out the clan his eyes landed on one special she-cat, that he would protect with his life, he knew it would be a betrayal to his rogues, but he had to know she would be safe. ~<3wildmask<3

Medicine Cat Rules
† Medicine Cats are allowed to cross territories.

Warrior Code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan Leader is law.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
Herbs
1. Borage Leaves are blue and pink star shaped flowers with hairy leaves. They are chewed and eaten. Borage increases milk in queens and brings down fevers.
2. Burdock Root is a tall-stemmed, sharp-smelling thistle with dark leaves. It is applied to bites and cures infection.
3. Catmint is a delicious-smelling, leafy plant, found in Twoleg gardens. It is eaten and is a remedy for Greencough.
4. Chervil is a sweet-smelling plant with large fernlike leaves and small white flowers. Its leaves can be applied to wounds. The roots are generally chewed and eaten. The leaves cure infection and roots helps bellyache.
5. Cobweb are well, cobwebs. You wrap them around a injury to stop the bleeding.
6. Coltsfoot is a flowering plant that looks like a dandelion with yellow or white flowers. It is chewed into pulp and eaten. It helps shortness of breath.
7. Comfrey are large leaves and small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. The roots are chewed into poultice which soothes wounds or mends broken bones.
8. Deathberries are small red berries. If eaten they will kill a cat *DONT USE*
9. Dock is similar to sorrel. The leaves are chewed up and applied. It soothes scratches.
10. Dried Oak leaf is collected in Autumn. It is brown with five points and applied to wounds to stop infections.
11. Feverfew is a small bush with flowers like daisies. The leaves are eaten. It cools down body temperatures for cats with a fever or chills.
12. Goldenrod is a tall plant with yellow flowers. It is chewed into poultice and applied to wounds to heal them.
13. Honey is a sweet, golden liquid. It is swallowed. It is used for soothing the throats of cats who breathed smoke.
14. Horsetail is a tall plant with bristly stems.It is chewed and applied to wounds as a poultice. It is used for treating infected wounds.
15. Juniper Berries are bushes with spiky dark green leaves and purple berries. They are eaten and soothes bellyache and helps cats who are having trouble breathing.
16. Lavender are small purple flowering plants. When eaten they cure fevers.
17. Marigold is a bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the ground. Its petals or leaves are chewed into pulp and applied to wounds to stop infection.
18. Mouse Bile is a bad-smelling liquid. It is dabbed in moss soaked in bile on a tick. It is used to remove ticks.
19. Poppy Seeds are small black seeds shaken from the head of a dried poppy flower. They are eaten to soothe shock and distress and eases pain.
20. Stinging Nettle are spiny green seeds that are eaten or applied to wounds. They are eaten to dispel poison and applied to bring down swelling.
21. Tansy is a strong-smelling plant with round yellow flowers. It is eaten in small doses and cures cough.
22. Thyme are small dusky green leaves on a brittle stem. They are eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves.
23. Watermint is a leafy green plant found in watery places. It is chewed into pulp and eaten. It helps bellyache.
24. Wild garlic is a strong, green stemmed plant with no leaves. If a cat rolls in it, it prevents infections.
25. Yarrow is a flowering plant. Its leaves are made into poultice and applied to wounds. Yarrow expels poison from scratches or wounds, if swallowed, will make a cat vomit however.
