Faxclaw couldn't help but laugh a little as Foamwhisper went tumbling. Padding over towards her, he looked down at the small She-Cat, the amusement still glistening in his amber eyes. "Are you alright? We don't have to head back because you've hurt your paw or something, do we?" They had only really just left camp and Foxclaw didn't want to head back already with an injured cat. Smallstar would not be impressed.

She added, carefully extracting her stuck paw from the root. She looked at her clanmates, embarrassed. "My mentor used to always tell me to stop charging into things. I guess I should have listened, eh?"

"This is why you need to always watch where you're going," Foxclaw was quick to meow in response as he watched Foamwhisper prise her paw from the root she had tripped over. "But are you sure you are okay? Don't lie because you could damage it further." He knew this from experience, it was always good to check out the smallest of pains because they could be something. Ignoring them could let them get worse and that was just no good when the Clan needed every cat at their best.

Foxclaw couldn't help but narrow his eyes a little as Foamwhisper continued to state that she was okay, but he could tell this was probably a lie. The russet tom lashed his tail a little. "You don't have anything to prove," he stated, voice laced with worry as he padded a little closer to the she-cat, "If it hurts then it hurts. There is no shame in admitting it either."

"Twolegs..." Tidepool mused as she loped along next to Smallstar, trying to stay on the lookout for prey. She had never been close to a Twoleg before, only seen them from afar, fishing or picking olives. She wondered if they knew how ugly they were. Distracted by her thoughts, Tidepool stumbled over a tree root, almost falling, before catching herself. Shaking out her fur, she offered a lame apology to her leader. Way to act professional, she grumbled. "Smallstar," she questioned, hurrying to change the subject, "Have you ever seen a Twoleg up close?"

"Smallstar also wouldn't appreciate it if one of his warriors got themselves injured trying to be stubborn," Foxclaw was rather quick to point out, fur bristling just a little. He knew that he could be equally stubborn sometimes, but he wasn't stupid enough to ignore an injury and risk being injured when rouges or loners decided to attack their camp.
Smallstar slowed down a little to let Tidepool catch up with him, deciding not to mention anything as she managed to trip. That kind of thing happened, he was hardly the most graceful of cats out there and he had tripped enough times himself. "Of course I have," he meowed as he trotted along the terrain, tail waving from side to side, "I used to live in their village and beg them for food."

Ravenpaw let out a sigh, feeling a mixture of disappointment and relief when he discovered his mentor was out of the camp.Perhaps Tidepool forgot I'm her apprentice. The dark tom mused from his hiding place. He was tucked barely under the old log that was the medicine cats den, unsure if anyone was looking for him. Considering he hadn't spoken a word since... The apprentice shut his eyes for a moment, his chest tightening in pain. He knew many cats gave up on forcing him to talk, and many have stopped checking in on him all together.
"Humph." Foamwhisper huffed, not having a good come back. So, the she cat sat there and glared at the russet tom, just as stubborn in her fellow warrior. Her silver fur began to bristle in frustration.

lilypaw followed her mentor. she hoped that they would go to the stream. she had heard from other apprentices that the sea was dangerous. but then, she just remembered that she couldn't go there till she became a warrior.

She could hear the rushing water as they drew closer to the stream, but only when the rushing blue was in sight did she slow, padding up to the water, but not enough so her shadow was casting over it. "Here we are," she meowed, gesturing her apprentice over with a flick of her tail. "Would you like to try first?"
