Riverstorm was silently surprised the she-cat was only interested in that aspect. The tom looked over at Zinniastar from over his shoulder. "I'm sure she'll tell you tomorrow." He said coolly. Once he realized the she-cat too was tired, he dipped his head lightly to her. "You have a good night." The dark ginger tom meowed simply before turning away and going back to Zinniastar's side. "Everyone in your clan is tired so early~" He commented, but it wasn't exactly random considering the sleepless nights he's had for the past few moons.

She smiled as he turned back to her and nodded in good night to Vinetail, she started towards the stairs waiting at the bottom for Riverstorm, "No you're a night owl, so that's why you thin everyone is going to bed early." She giggled, and flicked her tail in motion to follow her up the stairs.

She walked up to the tree, made her way up it, and padded over to her spot in the den. With a sigh of relief, she curled up in a ball and fell asleep. |

Vinetail woke up to the sound of birds singing. The sun filtered through a small crack in the wall, shinning down on her pelt. She sat up in her nest and rubbed the sleep from her eyes with her paws, and let out a huge yawn. Vinetail stretched before climbing down the Willow tree and into the clearing. It was pretty much deserted, only with a few warriors. She started grooming herself, smoothing down her pelt that was going in every which way.

[WOOPS HERE ] Riverstorm followed the leader, his eyes lighting up a tad once he seen the huge willow tree. Her teasing made him huff a laugh, his ears flicking contently at her explanation. He did, however almost freeze when she said they'd sleep together that night, feeling a blush creep onto his face. "A-Are you sure-" He uttered out before being questioned, his attention being brought to the warrior who demanded his name. The green eyed warrior didn't seem too happy, but he couldn't blame her. However, he did give her a frigid look back, emotions hidden. "My name is Riverstorm." The dark ginger tabby stated with a monotonous voice, holding his ground against the unfamiliar warrior. "Might I get yours?" He asked now, a flicker of playfulness in his tone as he stared at Vinetail. As they were expected to play nice and be clanmates, he knew being hostile wouldn't be the best option for him right now.
Meadowpaw was breathing hard for a moment, flinching at the voice of Hawkpaw. "Oh- Oh haha! I'm fine.." She meowed quickly, her heart still pounding loud in her ears. The apprentice still felt scared for some odd reason, and alone. Trying to relinquish the feeling, the calico looked downcast for a moment before her blue eyes turned to the tom with an uncertain glint. "W-Would you mind if.. If.. If you could maybe.. lay by me until I fall asleep again?" She asked with a shaky voice. It was embarrassing, but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep without feeling secure again. She didn't want to show weakness like this to her new friend Hawkpaw, afraid it'd make her dislike her for being so needy. They only just became friends today! "Or-or maybe just forget it." She decided quickly. She could deal with this, right? It'd be wrong for her to keep Hawkpaw awake, more or less asking such unnecessary things of him.so sorry for bot rsplying! Had school!) "Sure, I can sleep next to you.", Hawkpaw blushed and quietly got up and curled against her and gave a smile and said,"So what happened? You sounded scared when you told me to sleep with you.", the tom asked Meadowpaw. |

"Oh um thanks Pantherpaw and sure we should do this more often if you like.", Basilpaw said wih her voice showing emotion in her voice. Blushing visibly, she got off of him and said," Well that was awkard,sorry I got on top of you though.", Basilpaw apolgized once agin to Pantherpaw. ahh sorry I've been working on my sig ^^" ] [ Pantherpaw | Apprentice ] Pantherpaw frowned for a milisecond, worried that he had said something wrong. His intention hadn't been to make her feel awkward at all... He quickly regained his smile, to the point where one would even doubt they had seen it falter. "It was an accident," Pantherpaw reassured her. "And it gives me a chance to get a head start!" He said before dashing off towards the field, now able to see it. He wasn't going as fast as he had initially, mainly because he was quickly growing tired, and he wanted to save up some energy to hunt. He expected Basilpaw to pass him quickly, she was always faster than him in training. So sorry never replied! I had school!!!) Basilpaw tried to get the conversation up, so they could forget what just happened. "So Pantherpaw, how has it been in training?", she asked the tom. |

Pantherpaw leaped onto a rock as they began to walk through the field. He peered around the field, just able to see over the majority of the plants. He didn't see anything to interesting so he bounded off it and returned to Basilpaw's side. "Great!" He said enthusiastically. "My mentor's been teaching me all sorts of new battle moves!" He swatted at a patch of flowers in front of them, as if to show off what he had learned. One bud fell off, but the rest remained intact, just a little worse for wear. "With any luck I'll be able to test out my training soon," Pantherpaw added. It was a full minute before he realized the connotations behind his words. "Not that I'm looking for fights!" Panther said hurriedly. "I'm just ready to prove myself." Ever since he had been an apprentice he'd been trying to find something he could stand out in, but he never seemed to find something that was just right. It was my thought that there wasn't a nest already made and whatever that they shared xD ] [@jayfeather23 , Imma pretend that they went to bed after this post ;o; sorry. Mostly because morning shift in rp. ] Meadowpaw felt her fur heat again, feeling her heart beat with nerves. Hawkpaw was being so nice though, and she felt relieved quickly of her fear the moment that laid next to each other. At his question though, the she-cat shook her head softly, already feeling so comfortable, so ready to sleep unlike moments earlier. "I'll tell you in the morning." She whispered, her blue eyes already closed and she felt herself drifting. |
