Lightclan
The Stealthy and Intelligent
The Stealthy and Intelligent
The sun beat down on your back, warming your fur as you push through the tall grasses, just barely able to see over them. A breeze keeps the land around you heaving like water, making your head hurt and your eyes unable to focus on one point. You’ve been able to smell other cats ever since you entered the plains, though so far it’s only been a prickling thought in the back of your mind. Food is more important and there, right in front of you, is a plump looking rabbit.
You dropped down, ready to stalk forward, when the rabbit perks up before speeding off. Frustrated, you sit down, snorting softly. And then your eyes land on a broad, golden face, framed by a mane. Other heads pop up around you, most of them almost blending into the grass.
“You’ve made it quite a ways into our territory, young cat. I am Lionstar,” the golden one meows, his deep voice giving away his gender. “Normally, we would chase you off, but we’re short on warriors. How would you like to join Lightclan?” Stunned, you just sit there, blinking at him, drawing amused noises from the other cats.
“Well, tell you what, you think on it. Join us, the proudest of the clans, or leave our territory, never to return again.” With that, the others vanish, leaving you to either turn tail and run, or follow this big golden cat to your new home.

Long ago, long before any living cat within these territories was born, four great groups came together within the same land. Each group had never met each other, nor did they wish to mingle and become one. They were each their own separate entity and if they mixed, they would lose what made them who they were.
The cats that followed mighty Stone were made for the mountains. Their large bodies, thick pelts, and large paws were perfect for the cold and the brutal mountain ranges, though their home was made half in a valley that was protected on one side by mountains, and on the others by a pine forest, geyser field mix and a high plains land. Still, his chosen territory was at the highest altitude and it was theirs.
Those who followed sly Flame were suited for the land beside Stone’s, for the pine forest and the geyser field. They were lean, but not small and lithe, made for climbing trees and darting through sparse undergrowth. They were a shadowed lot, in pelt color and in heart.
The cats who kept to the ever aloof Willow favored the lowest of the territories, a marshy land where the trees blocked out almost all the sunlight. They grew to have webbed paws and larger eyes, perfect for seeing in low light. Their hearts were mysterious and guarded, as were their minds. They did not often welcome in outsiders.
Lastly, though who followed the proud Grey took up residence in the plainsland. They were lithe and agile, darting through the tall grass and running down any prey they could. They stayed lean and wild looking because of this, though the were a proud and honorable lot. Words were favored amongst them over claws and brute strength. It’s a wonder they were so respected.
And thus, each leader was visited by a starry cat, who guided them one by one to a polished crystal nestled within a cave, surrounded by water that caught the starlight. Each one was granted nine lives, -star added to their names, and instructions on how to organize their groups into what would be known as clans. They returned to their friends and loved ones as Stonestar, Flamestar, Willowstar, and Greystar, leaders of Iceclan, Fireclan, Darkclan, and Lightclan, respectively.
Though time and trials have beaten against each clan, they have weathered each and every one, remaining strong and alive. They are here today, in this land created by Starclan for them, perfect for every group and yet just muddled enough at the borders to give rise to some problems...

Territory
_____________________________________________________
Lightclan is bordered by Darkclan and Iceclan. High plains that slope gently down towards Darkclan territory and begin to rise sharply along Iceclan territory. There are few to no trees and few bushes as well, though the grass often grows in high clumps. The wind that blows down from Iceclan's territory is cold and lonely, sweeping across the plains and picking up the warm air that flows into Darkclan territory. Their camp is much like Windclan's, being a hollow that appears to be scooped out of the earth.
Cats of this clan are often small, lithe, and quick. They stay lean hunting rabbits, small birds, and occasionally mice.
As mentioned above, they hunt rabbits, small birds, and occasionally mice.

Allegiances
Leader
Strikestar
Strikestar is a Long haired muscular black tom with fiery orange splotches and red eyes. He is a stubborn, short-tempered cat, but he has a soft side. His skill at hunting and fighting is exceptional, and he knows how to be fair.
Deputy
Medicine cat
Medicine cat apprentice
Gingerpaw
She has a white chest and underbelly and a little white on her chest. She has green eyes. She was a white tail tip and less muscle on her body than other apprentices. Gingerpaw is very caring. She puts others ahead of herself and definitely prefers healing over fighting. Gingerpaw is normally the peacemaker in a group and does her best to make everyone happy. She trusts too easily, could be considered too loyal, and doesn't think of herself enough. Her mother, Frostheart, died shortly after the kits were born and she doesn't know who her father is. Gingerpaw grew up happily in the clan. She's always been a playful kit, but decided when she was very young that she'd rather be a medicine cat than a warrior (Ariat )
Warriors
Leafclaw
Black tom with silver eyes and a white tail tip. He is one of the best hunters in the clan because of his small shape. He gets quite annoying when he is bored, talking while hunting and when everyone is trying to sleep.
Apprentices
Stormpaw
Stormpaw is a large, muscular smiley gray colored tom. He has a white tail tip and a patch of white on his chest. His eyes are a dark blue. Stormpaw is fun loving and always up for adventure. While this occasionally gets him in trouble, he doesn't let that slow him down. Stormpaw can be arrogant and when he's good at something, he usually boasts about it. That can make him some enemies, even though he's always looking to make friends. His mother was Frostheart (dead) and he didn't know his father. His sister is Gingerpaw. He grew up in the clan like most kits. He's always been excited to start his warrior training. ( Ariat )
