Moonsong's yawn drew one from Icestar as well, his jaws stretching wide and his body shaking slightly as he stretched out. His purr had remained, probably a lot louder to her now that her head was tucked up under his own. "Hmm... We could stay here a bit longer or we could hunt a bit and then head back..." In all reality, the big tom didn't want to move from this spot ever, but he knew eventually they would have to return to the camp, though it was only just after sunhigh now. "The clan does need fed and I need to sort some things out for Lynxkit's apprentice ceremony tomorrow," he added, sighing softly and nuzzling his mate in a tender way.

((Moving to the next day.)) Moonsong woke up, looking around groggily. Where was she? Oh, right... She slept in the leader's den now. She was used to waking up in the warriors' den, still somehow cold. But she was warm.... The she-cat had been snuggled up close to Icestar, who had yet to wake up. The sun was rising, as she could see that it was light outside. However, she didn't want to move just yet. She figured she could stay by her mate's side for at least a little while longer and be warm. A soft purr rumbled from her as she rested her head on her paws, although she wasn't going back to sleep. She was just laying there, pressed close to the grey and white tom who was nearly twice her size.

Icestar was sleeping quite soundly when Moonsong awoke, one ear twitching as he dreamt good dreams. As she moved about and the sun rose, piercing the gloominess of their den, those clear blue eyes of his slowly opened. A yawn split his jaws as the big tom lifted his head, stretching himself out as he did so. His head swiveled around to look at his mate, a soft purr rising in his throat. "Good morning," he rumbled, slowly getting to his paws and stretching again, giving the she-cat's head a soft lick after he had done so.

"Good morning," the black she-cat replied with a smile. Once Icestar got up, she did as well, stretching as well as her whiskers twitched. Afterwards, she rubbed up against him, tail held high. "Did you sleep well?" Moonsong's silver eyes gazed up towards the leader as she waited for a response. She herself had slept wonderfully. She hadn't been shivering the whole night because she had Icestar to snuggle up with and keep her warm. If anything, it was the best night's sleep she'd gotten since she was a little kit. Okay, that might be a little overly exaggerated, but it wasn't too far off. Having the comfort of someone else by her side helped her sleep so much better.

A soft purr rumbled in the great leader's chest as Moonsong rubbed up against him, flicking his tail lightly against her own and rubbing his jaw against the top of her head. "I did. It's been a while since I've slept next to anyone else," he meowed, stretching himself upwards now before looking towards the entrance to their den. "But... now it's time for duty to take hold again, eh?" he rumbled in a good humored way, giving her a little nudge before he strode from the cave, giving his pelt a shake as he looked around the camp. He'd call a meeting just as soon as he saw some heads poking out of places. When he knew his cats were awake.

Dawn cracked through the sky creating a rich shurbert color of pink and gold. Wisps of clouds slowly floated over the horizon, the sounds of birdsong was heavy on the crisp air as they flew from one snowcovered tree to the next. Violetsky watched as small, delicate snowflakes drifted down, collecting on the canopies of the pines. She loved morning's like this. Where it was quiet, free from any annoying yelling or bickering or arguing of her -
"OH SHOVE OFF PYREFLARE!" Ottersplash's voice broke through the serenity, all birds in a 3 mile radius took off in a hurry.
A small blue body erupted from a large pile of snow, snow covering the top of her head.
"YOU LOST THE BET FAIR AND SQUARE FOX-DUNG!" The fiery tom's fluffy pelt bristled in irritation, as he was likewise covered in snow that he was trying to shake off to no avail. Beside them, the golden pelt of Zapstrike sat, trying to hold back his laughter as he watched at a safe distance.
"YEAH WELL I DIDN'T TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT YOU'RE A CHEATER!!" She threw a large mound of snot at his face with one paw. Pyreflare snarled and tackled his sister.
"WELL THAT'S YOUR FAULT!"
Violetsky sighed, her large ears lowering as she glared off. She couldn't have one morning to herself could she...? It was only a matter of time before the two remaining siblings, Leafripple and Greydusk, heard the commotion and clawed their way past the over-hang of one side of the camp to come and investigate. Leafripple yawned as she slowly made her way through the snow. The family now sat just outside of camp. "What is it this time...?" It was Greydusk that spoke up with an unamused murmur.
"No idea..."

The rather loud commotion wasn't missed by the big grey tom with was grooming himself outside of his den. He knew what he needed to do that day and, with the voices he heard catching his attention, he knew exactly where to find the cat who would become a mentor to a spunky kit on that day. Standing, Icestar slowly made his way from the camp, following the sound of loud voices to where the group of siblings was. He paused, narrowing his eyes and raising his deep voice to catch their attention.
"And just what are the lot of you yowling about over here?"

Can I be medicine cat? Here is my character info:
Orchidblossom, an average sized she-cat compared to most of her clan and slim and quick, with smooth pale white fur that's thinly covered by a shade of soft pink. Her eyes are a sky blue. Her paws are small and delicate, allowing her to sneak through thick undergrowth with no more than a slight paw step. Has a basically unnoticeable walking pattern, due to a slight fracture on her right hind leg, due to defending her younger sister from a fox. Orchidblossom is pan sexual. Since she was a kit, she has always been strangely uninterested in warfare, and hopes more to help her clan as a medicine cat. Believes that the most important things in life are to be kind and selfless. Doesn't believe in violence. Family:
Has a small amount of living family. Her father was killed by a badger, her mother left the clan to become a rouge, she has two littermates, Hawthornebush and Lilysky, as well as two younger brothers and a younger sister, Lilacpetal, who she is very close with
