Welcome to ForesetClan. Here is the home to the most impossible of cats. We vary from the smallest of disabilities to being possessed with the features of other things and creatures. And all thanks to the humans. Of course, it isn't just an Elder's tale, silly. Once upon a time humans owned us and did all types or experiments on us. Oh, you wish to join us, do you? Well, are you good enough to join our ranks? ForestClan only except cats who will be accepting of all their clanmates. If there is any sign of you judging any one of us, there will be consequences. So, let me ask you this again, are you good enough to join our ranks?

There isn't anything specifically special about ForestClan cats in all since they're all different in their own, unique way.
Prey: Rodents -- Very Common Birds -- Very Common Squirrels -- Common Rabbit -- common Fish -- common Lizards -- common Frogs -- common
Predators: Foxes -- Common Badgers -- Rare Other Cats -- Uncommon Owls -- Rare Snakes -- Very Rare Hawks -- Common
Seasons: Spring Summer Fall Winter(x)[though very close to being spring again]
Many seasons ago, ForestClan was never a Clan. Not even considered as any sort of gang. They were just a group of cats held captive in a strange human animal asylum. There the scientist did all kinds of strange experiments on the cats. Experiments that changed their appearances, their personalities. Experiments that made the cats look less and less like the everyday, normal, cats they once were. No one was left unharmed. After a year of experimenting, something happened, and the entire population of humans was wiped out. The cats were freed. From then on they looked after one another and refused to separate. For the first few moons of freedom, the cats were lost; they'd forgotten about hunting, about the different types of life that lived on Earth long before they were captured, they had forgotten what they were. Now it took quite some time for the large group of cats to get used to the new life. A life not disrupted by humans, not like their previous lives. One night, the leader of the group, an unusual colored cat with the DNA of a wolf, who went by the name of Bardou, received a dream from strange ghostly cats. One was pure white and bore the markings and eyes of the palest of blue and the other pure black with markings and eyes of the darkest red. Startled, the wolf-cat stammered, "W-who are you? What is this place?" The spirits spoke in one, "We are the protectors of the Felis Catus, Yin and Yang. We are here to guide you to the future." Confused the hybrid tilted its head in confusion. What future was there to be guided to? The group had figured everything out in their new home in the forest. What more could there possibly be to accomplish? The white spirit took a step forward, glowing eyes unblinking as it seemed to stare into the hybrid's soul. "You will be the first chosen leader of ForestClan. You will guide them peacefully through hard times and teach them to accept and love their new looks, and each other." Then the black cat stepped forward, more aggressive than the first spirit. Its lips pulled back in a snarl. "And if you must, punish them for judging their clanmates. Protect them with your life, be willing to die and protect your cats at all costs." Bardou listened intently, slowly beginning to understand what these spirits- no, Gods, were telling them. Then the ghostly cats began to speak in one again, "From now on you will go by the name of Wolfstar. And you will be responsible for giving your clanmates similar names. Now sleep. And you shall be rewarded with the powers of leadership." Without any more questions, Wolfstar curled up into a ball and slept while receiving their, so-called, powers. For the next moon, Yin and Yang visited the hybrid and taught them the ways of a Clan to teach to their clanmates. And from then on, ForestClan has lived on.

ForestClan claims their land in a very diverse set of territory not too far away from an abandoned human city. Their territory makes up of marshes, mountains, moorlands, and forest, their main source of territory.
(1)The Forest -- This beautiful mess of plants and animals is ForestClan's preferred piece of territory to use for hunting and sheltering. And the majority of their landmarks make up in this forest.
(2)The River -- A popular source of water and hunting that runs through the whole of ForestClan's territory. No one knows where it begins, but everyone knows it continues on flowing through the unknown territory of the mountains.
(3)The Garden -- The garden isn't really at all that much of a garden. It isn't too far away from ForestClan's camp and only consists of overgrown grasses, soft plants, and mossy trees. The warriors usually take their apprentices here to train.
(4)Beech Tree Grove -- A small area west of the garden where tall beech trees grow. Prey are usually found feeding in this area making it a great place for hunting.
(5)The Great Maple Tree -- One of ForestClan's oldest and biggest historical sights, taking its place right on the border between the forest and the moorland. On special occasions, cats will lick the sweet sap stored inside of the tree.
(6)The Forest of Willows/The Marshes -- On the southern part of the territory, the thick woodland trees give way to a wet, marshy terrain. Here many willow trees take their places beside swampy waters and murky grounds. Despite the muddy grounds, it's a very beautiful and romantic place to visit, especially at night. It is a very popular place for frogs, lizards, and small rodents. Though snakes and birds are found here as well on rare occasions.
(7)Bass Swamps -- In the center most part of the swamps, the Bass Swamp takes its place being the biggest swamp in the whole marshes. Large fish, such as bass, also claim refuge here.
(8)The Moorland -- A wide and vast stretch of open, wild grasses north of the forest. Rabbits and hawks are very common in this part of the territory.
(9) The Mountains -- And unknown and unexplored piece of territory east of the moorland and forest, and north of the marshes. Cats are forbidden to go here due to the dangerous possibilities of the sheer, rocky terrain. It is an elder's tale that lion cats roam the rocks and that they kill and eat cats in one movement.
(10)The Sacred House -- A small, abandoned house in the southwest parts of the marshes. At the bottom of the house, the stairs lead down into a cave where a small pool lies. Here is where the medicine cats and leaders come to share with their ancestors.
ForestClan Camp
The ForestClan camp is located in the center of their forest territory. Here a dip in the ground lies protected by brambles and thistles. Hidden well, a tunnel leads to the inside of the barrier, leading directly to the heart of ForestClan's Camp.
(1)The Stream -- As soon as you walk into the camp a small stream, separated by the river, crosses through the camp. A bridge of sticks and stones were built for cats to cross over the stream. Though a blessing to have water so close to their dens, it is also a curse. In the worse times of spring when rain is non-stop, the stream floods over and cats are forced to evacuate farther in the dip.
(2)The Leader's Den -- In the back of the camp an old and tall oak tree takes its place. Beneath the gnarly roots of the tree is a cozy hollow where leaders of ForestClan make their den.
(3)The Meeting Clearing -- Here is where the Clan leader calls and performs Clan meetings. It is just a plain and simple sandy clearing where cats stand around and listen. The Clan leader stands atop of the big roots of an oak tree, where they sleep.
(4)Warrior's Den -- Southwest of the Leader's den, second closest to the stream, is the warrior's den. Which takes its place inside a thicket of bushes. Inside is warm and cozy, and the leaves and branches protect them from rain or snow.
(5)Medicine Cat's Den -- Northwest of the Leader's Den, the camp branches off to another tunnel. This tunnel leading to a second dip in the ground, brambles and thistles acting as the den's roof. This is where the medicine cats reside. A small pool of water sits in the center of the dip. To the left is yet another tunnel that leads to the medicine cat's actual den where they sleep and where the herbs are stored. Back in the main clearing to the far wall, there are nests where patients can rest.
(6)The Nursery -- Northeast of the warrior's den there is another tunnel that leads to another portion of the camp, a more sacred portion that is well protected. On this side of camp, the bramble and thistle walls are strong to protect it from colder weather and predators. To the leftmost area of the brambles, the Nursery resides. Inside is warm and cozy for queens and their kits to sleep.
(7)Elder's Den -- Across from the nursery, the elder's den resides in another bramble bush. It's the second most protected den. But also happens to be the warmest.
(8)Apprentices Den -- Close to the Elder's and Nursery tunnel, the apprentice's den resides underneath the roots of an overgrown bush.

The Code of ForestClan are the set rules to keep the Clan in line and are to be strictly followed. Anyone who breaks these rules will be punished.
- Defend your Clan with your life. Your loyalties must always lay with your Clan.
- Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before warriors and apprentices unless given permission.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the spirits, Yin and Yang for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old in order to become an apprentice.
- No warrior can reject a cat in pain. Even if they are outside of ForestClan.
- Cats of ForestClan are not to be judged by the physical and mental appearance.
- Boundaries are to be checked and marked daily. No cat is allowed to cross or expand the boundaries. Challenge any outsiders.
- The Clan Leader's word is law.
- Newly appointed warriors must visit the sacred house after receiving their warrior name to receive the ancestors blessing.
- Apprentices must complete their trials before becoming a warrior.
- An honorable ForestClan warrior doesn't need to kill to win their battles. Unless it is necessary for self-defense.
- A cat cannot become deputy without mentored at least one apprentice.
- When the Clan leader dies, retires, or is exiled, the deputy will become the next leader.
- When the deputy dies or retires, a new deputy must be appointed before sunset the next day.
Unlike other Clan's, ForestClan does not believe in StarClan. They believe in the spirits, Yin and Yang. And that they are the protectors of their territory. Only medicine cats and leaders actually see Yin and Yang, on special occasions such as omens and prophecies.
The Apprentice Trial -- The apprentice trial is a test that every apprentice takes before their warrior ceremony. It takes all day to be accomplished and is tiring. At dawn, mentors wake their apprentices to choose their share of fresh-kill before taking them out to The Garden for a dual. There the apprentice will battle said warrior until either one surrenders. Depending on how the apprentice performs, they head over to their next trial which takes the rest of their day. The mentor will choose one side of the territory for their apprentice to hunt in and the apprentice will spend the rest of their day hunting, given one more meal before heading over to said territory. If the apprentice proves him or herself worthy the next day they will be appointed a new warrior of ForestClan.
Warrior Ceremony -- After an apprentice has received their warrior name, they are taken to the Sacred House where they will receive their blessing from their ancestors. If the warrior doesn't receive a blessing then they will be given another trial and if they pass then they'll automatically be accepted into the Clan.
Mate Ritual -- When a cat is in love with another cat and wants to become their mate. They are to go out and hunt the biggest piece of prey they can find and ask that special cat, in front of the whole Clan, to become their mate. If the cat says yes, then the two will go out on a stroll together as mates. If they say no then no means no. This ritual is not forced to be performed in front of everyone. But if done in private, it is to be announced to everyone.
Winter and Spring trials -- Before the weather turns cold the cats go out and hunt as much prey or collect as many herbs they can, preparing themselves for the savage times. And when Spring returns the cats are to go out hunting and collecting herbs again as a hello to the warmer weather. A dam is also meant to be built around the stream that runs through the camp to prepare for rainier times.
Night of a thousand stars -- On particularly starry nights friends and families are to go out and thank the spirits for anything, reminisce on the past, or talk about the future.

- Forum Rules -- Please follow all the forum rules. Everyone should know this.
- Respect -- This is really a priority. But please show respect to EVERYONE on this thread. I understand if you make a disrespectful character, but out of character I shouldn't see any inappropriate behavior between anyone. If I see this at all it will be an automatic suspension or deletion.
- Activity -- Activity plays a big role in every roleplay. What would a roleplay be without members? Active members at that. Now I understand the responsibilities of real life(school, work, etc, etc), but at least check in with me first if you need to leave or excuse yourself. I'll be completely understanding. The minimum amount of time I'll give you for absence is two weeks, after that, I'll warn you. If you remain inactive for another week then I will delete you. You will be able to rejoin once after deletion. I don't expect a quick "hi" every day just to keep your activity up. That isn't going to slide with me. I also don't agree with joining and running. If this happened then your characters just won't be added and you won't be added as an official member. This is one of my strictest rules, I really advise you take this one seriously. I will not hesitate to warn and delete you for inactivity.
- Literacy -- Now I'm not too picky on literacy. But of course, no one-liners accepted. Give something to reply with. No one likes a reply with, "She nodded and followed him." Just be as descriptive as you can, just like ForestClan cats, there's no judging here <3. Also, no txt tlking or too much chatting.
- Realism -- This isn't a very realistic roleplay since it takes place many years beyond the year we're in now. But your cats don't all have to be a hybrid of some other animal. They can have some other unusual pelt decorations of some sort. But nothing too atrocious like a cat that can transform into other animals. Under certain circumstances, your cats can have minor powers, but nothing huge. But maybe your cat has a different pelt color, or wings, or maybe even vines growing from their fur or something of the sort. Or maybe their pelt looks like something else. For example, a cat with a pelt that blazes like fire, but isn't really ON fire. I mean, share your ideas! I'll really be looking forward to seeing how weird you can make your cats look. Also, your cats WILL die and age up. Every week your cats will age up one moon.
- Stealing -- Please do not steal any of the graphics/layout. If this roleplay is not successful then I don't want to see any remakes of it. I kindly ask that if it dies, it stays dead. Unless you have my permission to remake it.
- No raiders/spamming -- Please don't spam this page with 'so-and-so please return to such-and-such'. It really gets annoying. And I don't want to see cats from other Clans coming to raid this page/steal kits. It will NOT be tolerated and immediately reported, also will be ignored.
- Gender Ratios and Characters -- I ask that the gender ratio is somewhat even. For every female you make there should be at least one male, same goes for the other way around. And as for characters, please don't join as a kit with no mother or and expecting queen(unless I say otherwise)Don't be afraid to ask for a someone to make a character to be the father/mother or if you want a sister/brother. I really don't mind, just try to avoid making orphaned kits or expecting queens. If it is for plot purposes please address it with me first. There are no limits on how many characters you make, just as long as you can handle all of them!
- Power Roles -- Power roles in a Clan take a big part. And in order to take on the responsibility for this role, I ask that you all are super active. If I don't think your cut out for that role then don't be surprised if I send you a PM or just simply rank your character down.
- God-modding -- This is a really STRONG pet-peeve of mine. I don't want god-modding of any kind(powerplaying, godmodding, etc) on this thread. If I see it then I will warn you for it. But please, try to avoid this.
- Have Fun -- Whew, looks like you've made it through the rules! Yay! Now I know my rules are pretty strict, but please, don't be intimidated by them. After all these rules there's one I want you all to remember, and that is to, have fun. Create plots, new relationships, feuds between cats, etc, etc.

The Plot: Spring is on its way! And the cats are relieved to say goodbye to the cold claws of winter and the welcoming winds of spring. And though springs return means the return of all the prey, it also means the return of the predators as well. This season the number of foxes spotted on the territory seemed to have tripled in numbers. A lot of cats are receiving severe and fatal injuries due to the frequent attacks. A patrol is arranged to see where the foxes come from and it is discovered that there is a whole pack of them living just on the edge of their moorlands. Soon their camp is raided by the beast. Many cats die during this attack. Leaving the ForestClan cats plotting their revenge. Battle plans are arranged and for a few moons the cats train, laying low to the foxes. Until the time has come to attack. Now it is in the paws of the spirits to determine what happens next.

Squirrelstar ♂ ||46 moons old || Heteroromantic Heterosexual Squirrelstar has a very handsome appearance. In size, being very well muscled though his height is pretty above average. Having long, though muscular legs made for forest hunting and moorland running. But what gives Squirrelstar his name is his abnormally bushy tail. Or make that tails. Yes, that is correct, Squirrelstar was born with two bushy tails. Which earned his place as a ForestClan cat. His pelage is justly long, appearing to be short but carrying longer fur on different parts of his body. These places appearing to be his chest, tails, and flanks. He also has a 'mane' and tufted ears. The color of his pelt is an average ginger shade. Darker red clouded markings decorating his flanks and tails, while regular tabby markings score over his face. Just above Squirrelstar's pink nose is a splash of white. His paws, underbelly, and chest are also white. While his eyes are a burning, almost red, amber. In personality, Squirrelstar is just as charming as his appearance. The ginger tom tends to be very easy-going and charismatic when it comes to his clanmates. His good relationship with his Clan usually makes it easier for him to make hard decisions. Always checking with his cats before making a real decision. Sure Clan Leader's had the rights to do whatever they wanted, but Squirrelstar was a fair cat and had fair rules. It was how he was raised. But other than his duties as leader, Squirrelstar is a fun and respectable cat to be around. And to the ladies, he no doubt can go from a formal clanmate to a huge flirt. a diamond's pearl Cat's Name ♂ or ♀)|| Age Insert Text Here Screenname

Grasspelt ♂ || 60 moons || Heterosexual Heteroromantic Grasspelt is a relatively small cat with short, stout legs. But don't take this to heart, his small size doesn't make him any less tough. It actually triggers a strong determination to protect and prove himself to his Clan, even though he already has proven himself enough. Grasspelt's coat is short and, spiky. When he's angry and his pelt bristles, it can be as prickly as the sharpest blade of grass. This gave him his name 'grass'. His fur is a dark shade of golden-brown. Faint tabby markings crossing over his flanks, legs, and head. Grasspelt's chest, underbelly, and muzzle are a dark cream color. His eyes are amber. Only those who prove themselves worthy are appointed Senior Warriors. And Grasspelt has worked hard to reach his current ranking. The golden colored tom is now a very respectable and calm warrior. Always choosing his words wisely before speaking or making important decisions. Grasspelt is also very intelligent when it comes to battle and hunting techniques- over time learning how to use his smaller size to his advantage. And he still to this day, tries his best to make the right decisions for ForestClan. Like most warriors, Grasspelt found a mate. And was soon expecting kits from his beloved mate. But unfortunately, she died giving birth to their only kit. Whom Grasspelt loved dearly and tried his best to teach the ways of a true warrior. A warrior like him. But his daughter didn't seem to agree. Choosing her own path to follow instead of the one he'd laid out for her. And now to this day, Grasspelt tried to tame his child's fire. But that seems to be impossible. a diamond's pearl

Unnaturally soft actually. And if you looked close enough it looks like its moving. Well that's because it is. Cloudwhisker's fur doesn't just ruffle in the wind like everyone else's, it moves all the time. Just like that of a cloud or smoke. Giving him his prefix 'Cloud'. His airy pelt is white, pale gray tabby points marked on his legs and face. His eyes are an ice blue. Cloudwhisker is a stuck-up a diamond's pearl
Leafspeck ♀ || 38 moons || Bisexual Biromantic Leafspeck, like her father, isn't all that tall. With a short, yet muscular frame. Though her pelt- parts of it- is way longer than his since she more so takes after her mother in looks. Leafspeck has patches of prickly fur on certain parts of her body unlike having her whole pelt be prickly. She's a calico she-cat, meaning she has ginger and black patches all over her white pelt. More of the black parts of her body have grass prickles. Few of the ginger parts being as soft and smooth as a freshly fallen leaf. The left half of her face is ginger and smooth, furless. Her eyes are dark amber like her father. Ah, Leafspeck, the only daughter of the well respected Grasspelt. Though his daughter, the she-cat is nothing like him. Having a more rebellious nature to her. In her mind, no means yes, yes means no. Go means stop, stop means go. And she never takes anything seriously, that is unless she wants to. But majority of the time you shouldn't take her words to heart because deep down she means well, just doesn't know how to do well. Despite this, Leafspeck has a lot of stamina and is very intelligent. She just doesn't show it often enough. But maybe one day, someone will push her until she actually shows it. Her mother passed away when she was born, so she never really met her. And she grew up an only kit raised by her father and a nursing queen. a diamond's pearl
Fawnspots ♀ || 25 moons || Bisexual Biromantic Fawnspots's is a small and energetic molly. She's a hybrid. That of a deer added to her name, giving her her prefix 'fawn'. Though in her veins, Fawnspots doesn't have all the features a deer would, she mostly carries the features of a fawn. Fawnspots's carries a rich coat. Her skin is almost as thick as her coat, making it harder for any predators to attack her and hurt her on the first move. Her coat is very thick and shaggy, keeping her warm during the colder times. It is a rich cinnamon color. With streaks of a lighter brown. And, like that of a deer fawn, Fawnspots's has white spots decorating her flanks, ears, and head. While her stomach, chest, tail, and paws are white. But her most eye-catching 'deer' features, are her eyes, ears, and tail. Unlike other cats, Fawnspots's tail is short and rounded. The fur along the organ just as shaggy as her pelt. And twice as flexible as a cat's. Her ears appear to look very much like a deer's, being rounded and she's able to angle them. While her eyes are very large and are a light honey-brown color. Fawnspots is very naive she-cat. She doesn't catch on to things as fast as other cats and doesn't have as many ideas. But she still is just as skilled. Fawnspots is more of an entertainer than a thinker. Always playing or joking around. She's full of positive energy and it's rare to ever see her angry or being hateful. She tries to spread her positive energy to everyone in her Clan. Because in her mind peace and love is key for the Clan. But not everyone agrees with her. Fawnspots is an excellent hunter- an even better fisher than land-hunter. Though she isn't all that good in fighting since she tries to keep everything peaceful but she will if she has to. a diamond's pearl
Moleskin ♂ || 27 moons || Bisexual Biromantic There is nothing specifically peculiar about Moleskin. No experiments were done to his ancestors. Moleskin was found and adopted to the Clan as a young apprentice. Being taught their unique ways of living and how it was wrong to judge others by their appearance. And from then on, he grew up as a ForestClan cat. So yeah, he's pretty much just a regular cat. Or at least, as regular as it gets. Being an Oriental, Moleskin isn't like your ordinary cat. Not like the cats mothers would tell their kits about, the ones that their ancestors once were before the experiments happened. Moleskin looks nothing like those cats. For one, he is way taller and longer. Having a long and skinny body with long, yet powerful, legs to hold him up. His head is small and rounded. With a narrow muzzle and enlarged eyes and ears, perfect for hunting. The long-legged tom has a short and glossy coat. His tail almost as thin and skinny as he himself. His fur is a very dark, almost black, gray. Just nearly noticeable black tabby markings crossing all over his pelt. His wide eyes are a deep blue. Moleskin is... an interesting cat. No one takes him as serious as they should since he is one of the kings of sarcasm. He tries his best to joke about everything, that being to lighten the mood or just because he feels like it. It's not completely rare for him to actually take things seriously every now and then, Moleskin just chooses not to the majority of the time. And to make things worse, he doesn't care what his clanmates may think of him and his sarcastic ways. He doesn't care whether someone likes him or dislikes him. No one can change who he is. His confidence is a strong trait that he has, but it is also a weakness. Not caring about how his clanmates feel about him equals fewer friends. Which, though he fights it, makes Moleskin feel lonely and unneeded at times. And loneliness isn't exactly a good feeling. Moleskin gets this feeling very often and deep down, only truly, wishes for a friend. Moleskin is a night owl. Meaning he stays up later that his clanmates. Sometimes on restless nights he goes out and sleeps somewhere in the open territory, or just goes out to stargaze. He doesn't know exactly where he came from. Moleskin's clanmates only told him that he was found floating in the river as a young kit and a patrol saved him. Ever since then he has lived as a strong and true ForestClan warrior. whispering
Coldfire ♀|| 26 moons || Bisexual Coldfire looks like she has some ancestors who were Norwegian forest cats. She long legged and well muscled under her thick, pale grey coat. She has a pale grey coloring on most of her fur, although she has darker grey "points" on her body. Her paws, ears, tip of her tail, and the bridge of her nose are all that darker color. She has pale green eyes that are wide, making her look rather innocent even if she is anything but. Lets just say her tongue is just as sharp as her claws. The one odd thing about her appearance is that she has gills that are hidden under her fur, as she is always careful to keep them hidden since she hates them. Since she has gills she is often found just a bit out of breath, finding it easier to be in the water instead of out in the air, even if she can breath with her lungs its harder for her to do so instead of using her lungs. There's a reason why "fire" is at the end of her name. She's got a rather sharp tongue, a little rough around the edges. She's the type of cat who assumes first and apologizes later. She's headstrong, and likes to think that she thinks for herself most of the time, even willing to challenge the leader if she thinks that the leader is wrong. She struggles often with showing any type of affection because she wants to look competent and like a soldier, so her way of caring is looking out for the ones she cares about. If another cat starts being nice to her or compliments her she has the tendency to get incredibly flustered and just kind of walks off. Its not that she's trying to be rude, she just can't really emote well, and doesn't know how to deal with the soft and fluffy emotions. If you can crack through this incredibly thick, tough (and, okay, she'll admit it: awkward) exterior you can find a really caring she cat that is loyal to the core. She just doesn't know how to show it. sweetclover1

Cat's Name ♂ or ♀)|| Age || Sexuality Insert Text Here ScreennameNightpaw ♂ || 11 moons || Homoromantic Homosexual Since he's almost matured, Nightpaw is in the makings to be a handsome little devil. Standing around the average size for most cats of his breed, that being an American Bobtail. This also means he has a bobbed tail. The tom takes on a muscular appearance underneath his thick black fur. Unique white, luminescent, tabby markings cross all over his thick pelage. Nightpaw is able to flash his luminescence in darker areas of the territory as a signal or warning of something coming. But he's no natural at what he does, he actually isn't the best at controlling it. And he has yet to perfect his luminescence. His eyes are a pale minty color. Quiet and independent. Unlike other apprentices, Nightpaw tries his best to keep to himself and be focused on his duties. Nightpaw is quite mature for an apprentice. Instead of spending his time being eager to do things, he just goes with the flow. Following what his mentor tells him to do. But this makes it harder for the young tomcat to make friends. His seriousness and devoted ways to the warrior code usually scares his denmates off. Though he tries desperately to tone it down a bit. a diamond's pearl
Stormpaw ♂ || 10 moons || Pansexual Panromantic Stormpaw is a rather sturdy tom. He's rather average in size, although pretty muscular just from his training. He's a manx, and has a dark grey coat. He has marbled tabby markings on his body, along with little white "socks" and a white chest and underbelly. He has dark blue eyes, and his ears are rounded neatly, although his left ear is completely shredded. He has a bad shoulder, a horrible scar on it that starts from this neck down to his shoulder muscles. This is from a fox attack back at the beginning of his training, and although it is healed over it never quite completely healed. The scar still flares up from time to time, leaving him stuck in the medicine cats den for a few days until the swelling goes down. It's his weak spot, too, if one hits it hard enough he's down for a fight. This makes him overcompensate whenever he fights, having to constantly look out for his bad shoulder so he could actually be useful as a warrior. Stormpaw isn't really... nice. He doesn't like talking to others, preferring to keep to himself and snaps at anyone who tries to talk to him. Its like he's trying to isolate himself from his clanmates half of the time, not even trying to make good connections with the cats around him. He's a bit on the prideful side, the type to never back down from a challenge even if he could end up getting seriously injured by it, and if he isn't doing well in a sparring match he won't stop until he can't move. He hardly apologizes if he gets himself in trouble, if he even speaks at all. His overall attitude is a huge reason as to why he hardly opens his trap. He wasn't always like this, though. He used to be charismatic, eager to please. He was everyones friend, and looked out for everyone one he could. Then the fox attack happened, leaving his sister, Sweetpaw, dead and he seemed to pull away from everyone. His old personality is slowly coming back, but its a process. sweetclover1
Bearpaw ♂ || 8 moons || Homosexual Homoromantic Bearpaw looks like he is also from Norwegian Forest Cat descendant, although his rather large body is more due to the fact that his ancestors had been spliced with brown bear genes. Although thats not why he was Named after a bear. It was mostly because his mother thought the name fit. His pelt is thick and kit like, dark brown in coloration, his tail a small little nub like a bears, and his ears are nice and rounded as well. His fur is often in a complete mess, since he never really finds the time to actually make it look nice, he only takes a few moments to make sure its not dirty and matted. His paws are a bit larger, with bigger and sharper claws from his bear DNA. Bearpaw can be a bit much sometimes. He's overly energetic, like someone who's just been given a shot of espresso, always wanting to help and make others lives easier. Unfortunately he's more on the clumsy side so when he tries to help it usually ends up in disaster. He means well, though, and often takes it hard whenever things go wrong, blaming himself solely for misadventures and mistakes, so his mood will go from incredibly positive and helpful to either lethargic and sulking or fearful within a few moments. He doesnt handle anger very well, and if someones angry at him he'll probably avoid that cat for a good moon until he knows for sure they've forgotten about whatever he did wrong. His energy swings can be quite a bit to handle, so his mentor is in for a pawfull with this one. As he grows older this swings will slowly even out, and once he's a warrior his energy is more maintained and he'll learn how to deal with his mistakes. Even as he grows up, he still can't find himself staying still, whether its his tail twitching or him pacing around, and his attention span isn't the best, making his hunting skills something he usually lacks in. sweetclover 1

Daylight ♀|| 34 moons || Homosexual Homoromantic Daylight takes on a willowy and small frame. With little muscle and experience as a real warrior, though she does know a few defense moves and hunting techniques for just in case purposes. Now it wasn't Daylight's chose to become a permanent queen. She's never even had kits before. She was forced to become a permanent queen or an elder, and obviously, she chose to move to the nursery. Daylight wasn't born strong and healthy like other warriors. She was born small and weak. She was born an Albino. Meaning the skin underneath her pink tinged white pelt and her eyes are sensitive to sunlight. Her coat is long and shaggy. Despite her sickness, Daylight grew up to become a beautiful she-cat. And she tries her best to keep herself in her best shape. Daylight's eyes are a very pale pinkish blue color. Even though Daylight is disabled, she acts and behaves just like any other ForestClan cat. She's actually very cheerful and adventurous. She's gotten into trouble numerous times because of her sneaking out at night unsupervised. But it's always worth it since it's about the only time where she can safely venture out into the open. But overall Daylight is sweet and takes her role as a permanent queen very seriously. Plus she's a kit magnet, they all love her. Daylight hopes that one day she'll be able to have kits of her own. whispering

It wasn't such a quiet morning in the ForestClan camp. Not today. And it wouldn't be that way for a while now, hopefully. Today birdsong echoed around the tall trees that stood outside of their thorn-like barrier walls, and for once warm rays of sunlight gleamed down from the sky. But despite the hints that spring was on its way, winter was still here. Anyone could tell by the icy winds that still scorched through the camp. Hopefully, it'd get better in the evening when the sun shone at its highest points.
Squirrelstar lay curled up warmly in his den underneath the oak tree. Both of his tails wrapped around him. Soft snores escaping his maw every now and then, ruffling the fur on the tail closest to his face. The leader slept peacefully for a few moments longer before rolling over onto his back, stretching out his legs. After he'd stretched, the ginger tom rolled back over onto his stomach, arching his back and parting his jaws into a huge yawn. Blinking sleep from his eyes. After properly stretching Squirrelstar sat up, licking his paw and drawing it over his face, he repeated the procedure a few times before twisting over to groom the rest of his pelt. Well, time to start a new day. He thought while grooming. Rising to his paws and shaking out his now clean pelt before padding out of his den, squeezing through the tree's roots to the open clearing. Sooner or later his clanmates would rise and prepare for the day's activities.
Squirrelstar gave the clearing a quick scan before clawing his way up the oak tree. Perching himself on one of its branches. Tails dangling off the branch. The clouded Maine Coon looking down at the clearing. This was the same routine he did every morning. There was no better way to start your morning than watching your Clan rise. It brought him strength and pride to know that his clan was strong and healthy. He put all his needs before his Clan. He didn't eat until everyone else did and he didn't leave the camp without knowing everything was in place. It just seemed like it'd be the right thing to do.
Now here was the hard part. Now to wait for my Clan to rise. With another yawn, Squirrelstar lay down, tucking his paws under his paws and looking out into the distant forest.
His clan had survived another year strong and healthy. So far, he was doing a pretty good job leading. And hopefully, things would continue to go that way.
----------
"Leafspeck, wake up. You've got patrol soon."
The small calico she-cat gave a grunt. Pulling her plumed tail closer to her. Forget that patrol. Sleep is more important. She thought with another grunt. Leafspeck turned over into a comfortable crouch, her paws tucked under her chest and her tail curled around herself. Eyes still refusing to open. "Yeah, yeah, I hear ya'. Hunting patrol. Got it." The molly grumbled through a yawn. Swiping her tongue over her maw a few times before heaving herself to her paws and arching her back in a deliciously delicious stretch. Giving a small shake of her pelt before trotting out of the warrior's den.
Almost as soon as she was out of the den, her morning just got worse. Great, just the cat I wanted to see. She thought with a small sigh, forcing a smile. "Good morning, Grasspelt."
Her father gave her a disapproving look. His amber eyes looking over her messy pelt and the moss that still stuck to her fur. "Leafspeck, you're getting too old for this. Sooner or later yo-"
"I'll have to start taking this seriously. My attitude isn't going to get me anywhere. You've told me a million times." She groaned flopping down onto the ground. Grasspelt sighed, meeting her gaze softly before padding closer to her. Not seeming to hesitate before grooming her pelt. Honestly, she loved her father dearly, but he got on her last nerve. What was the point of her being a warrior if he wouldn't let her live? But she wasn't going to lie, she enjoyed it. It wasn't every day you got a free grooming. "You know, I'm not a kit anymore. I can groom my own fur." Leafspeck mewed softly, shooting a glare at her father. "If that's true, then why don't you do it?" The older tom shot back, a mischievous gleam in his amber eyes.
Leafspeck chuckled, swiping a paw at the senior warrior. "Because I have a father like you to do it for me. Duh." The two cats then sat and talked and laughed together. Grooming each other's pelt. If every morning could be like this, then maybe Leafspeck'd try harder to wake up earlier. She loved it when she had time to bond with her father. It was better than arguing with him about silly things. Besides, her mother would want this, wouldn't she? She would want them to bond. So why don't we?
----------
Cloudwhisker lay calmly on his haunches, twisted over and grooming his creamy white and gray coat. The feathers that acted as his fur slightly ruffled from the warm spring breeze. Giving relaxed purrs every few minutes. Enjoying the warmth. It was the first sign of spring. And the tom couldn't help but feel content to know the cold days of winter were coming to an end. Finally. Now he could properly sun himself. Ah, spring here at last. It was better to bask in it while you could. Sooner or later everyone in camp would be too busy to relax for they would be preparing for the spring trials. And it would be twice the work to do since there wouldn't just be hunting arrangements like the winter trials. No. There would be reinforcement patrols as well. And Cloudwhisker hated it. His delicate feathers weren't meant for jamming mud over a stream to make sure it didn't over flood. It was made for sitting back and looking pretty. But of course, Squirrelstar would never understand. He's not even close to being as glamorous as me and my feathers.
----------
Soft giggles came from over by the stream as Fawnspots splashed around in the shallow water. Watching the small silver fish dashed away from her delicate paws. Her large honey-brown eyes gleamed with amusement and her short tail waved wildly from side to side. But soon her little 'game' was interrupted by a rumbling stomach. "Welp, goodbye little fishies. I guess it's time to head out to hunt." She mewed, climbing out of the stream and smoothing down her thick pelt. But first I suppose I should get someone to go with me. It was never a truly good hunt without a companion at your side.

A wide pair of jaws gaped open in an enormous yawn. Showing off sharp teeth. Moleskin's long legs then stretched out before him in a stretch, his rump in the air. Thorn-sharp claws slipping from their sheaths and his thin tail quivering as the tension in his muscles were released. When the dark gray tom straightened up a small sigh escaped his maw as he strode out of the warrior's den and out into the clearing. Many of his clanmates had already awoken and begun their day. But Moleskin didn't think much of it, he actually wasn't that late in waking up. Halfway in the clearing, the Oriental cat gave a quick scan of the cats around him. Who to choose? After a moment of debating, the tabby's dark blue eyes landed on the bubbly she-cat, Fawnspots. Who was kicking around in the stream. Having fun. Moleksin gave an amused snort.
An interesting cat she was. Yes strange in looks, but she was also strange on the inside as well. Sometimes she could come off a bit.... off. But it would be twice as fun to go out on a hunt with a cat like Fawnspots. A cat who didn't care about what other's thought of her, just like Moleskin.
As the dark colored cat neared his clanmate. She was getting out of the water, shaking out her pelt. "You know, I'm confused why you take the appearance of a deer when you should have scales." He mewed bluntly, just sitting a couple of tail-lengths away from the much smaller cat. His eyes giving away nothing. "Anyone would think you're still a kit with the way you still play in the shallows." And it was true. Though Moleskin admired her happiness and excitement to do things. It was something that ebbed away on most cats when they became apprentices, but apparently, not Fawnspots.
Moleskin lifted a forepaw, licked it, and begin smoothing the fur along his face as he waited for her reply.
(aggh, I love Leafspeck and Grasspelt's relationship.)

(lol thanks, I was thinking the same thing when I was writing the starter X3. The love is real even though Leafspeck denies it sometimes)
Fawnspots had begun grooming the water from her fur when her clanmate walked up. The molly didn't stop what she was doing, just angled her ears towards the newcomer. Her nose twitching as she tried to make out who it was. Moleskin. She answered in her head flicking an ear towards him as she twisted over and began smoothing the fur down on her haunches. Finally sitting up when the long-legged cat started talking. Her eyes lighting up and a small amused purr rumbling in her throat. "Well, there was nothing better to do and no one else was awake. I was just trying to kill time, that's all." She said in her soft meow. Her voice was relatively loud and smooth, yet very soothing. "Why're you called 'mole'? You very much resemble height of a tree compared to everyone else." Fawnspots's then retorted, followed by a gleeful chuckle.
The smaller cat then stood and shook out her thick pelage. Blinking her honey-brown eyes over at Moleskin. "I was just about to head down to the marshes to go for a hunt. Would you mind joining?" Moleskin was the perfect companion! Hunting would be too easy with two excellent hunters. The cinnamon colored feminine stood, tail wagging, hoping he'd agree.

The tom gave a small smirk at her retort, but said nothing more. He received his name due to his short pelt and the color of it. Besides, he preferred 'mole' other than 'tree'. It just sounded and looked better on him. But maybe it was just because he was used to it. Moleskin was interrupted from his thoughts when Fawnspot's stood, and he did the same. Feeling a pang of satisfaction to see that he easily towered over the smaller she-cat. Having long legs was a strength for him since it made him a more successful hunter. But looking at Fawnspots he was sure she was a successful hunter as well, seeing how big her eyes and ears were. "Hmmm, sure I suppose I could go hunting with you." A duo they would be. Fawnspots could act as his ears and eyes while they hunted. Besides, it would only before. They both wanted to go out hunting and who would he be to turn down an offer just to find someone else to hunt with. "What'd you have in mind? I'd prefer to go down to the moorland, but since your the patrol leader here. Your decision." A hunt on the moorland sounded perfect right about now, and now that spring was practically here, he had a taste for rabbit. But maybe they could go through two territories today, depending on what Fawnspots decided on. But since Moleskin was a more laid-back kind of cat he didn't really care. I have all the time in the world to go out for that rabbit. Who knows, maybe I can go out later and night for it. A perfect midnight snack.

Fawnspots stood thinking for a moment, looking away from Moleskin up at the pale blue sky. Thick clouds covered over the sun, but faint rays of sunlight shone through. It was warm out, but there was still a cold breeze. And she doubted there'd be much out on the moorland at this particular time. "Erm, I think we can hunt on the edge of beech tree grove. Where the river divides it from the moorland? We can split up there and meet a quarter before sunhigh back at the river." The brown and white she-cat looked back up at the Oriental tom. Asking for some reassurance here. It wasn't common that she would be chosen as a patrol leader. Cats thought she was too... soft and naive to lead. And though she didn't have many, she did have some ideas. So, yeah, this was pretty new to her.
If anything Moleksin should have been making the decisions here. But I think I'm doing pretty good. Or at least I hope so. Maybe if she did a good job, Squirrelstar would trust her enough to lead more patrols. Bigger ones! The simple thought brought a toothy smile to her face and made her tail wave wildly.

Moleskin nodded, arching his back in another stretch. "Sounds good to me." He mewed through his stretch, taking the lead out of the camp. Eager to get to the Grove so he could cross over and part ways with Fawnspots. The forest was alive with new life. All the critters would be just waking from their burrows for the first time in moons. This would be a fresh spring. Full of life and health. And maybe even kits since they seemed to be running low. Its the lowest number of apprentices I've seen in a long time now. But he had to be patient with that type of thing. New mates didn't just fall out of the sky. It was a process. A waiting process. Not that Moleskin was thinking about kits or having a mate any time soon, it was just probably a thought everyone had now that spring was on its way. "So, why did you choose the river? Why not just hunt in the stream?" He asked, glancing back at Fawnspots before turning his attention before them. His ears and eyes alert. It wouldn't hurt for them to hunt along the way, would it?
(One of my friends called and I got caught up in that, sorry xd i think i'm gonna add 2-3 more characters if that's fine with you?)

(Yeah that's fine with me.)
Fawnspots's trotted after Moleskin cheerfully. A bright look on her face and her tail waving. Ears flicking this way and that at the sounds she was hearing. Her glee clear in her brown eyes. Soon, the forest would be filled with greenery. And there wouldn't even be a single clue that winter had just left, replaced by spring. And with spring came life. Hopefully, new life would come to the Clan soon. It wouldn't be long until the apprentice's den was empty. The she-cat snapped from her thoughts when Moleskin's meow sounded ahead of her. Changing her pace so she could catch up to him and walk side-by-side. "Well, I'm more into fishing than moorland hunting. I can't stand all that grass. You can more so find me in the marshes. That or the forest, by the river. Besides, it was only fair to the both of us." The marsh was Fawnspots's first favorite place to hunt. She loved a good frog or lizard to eat for supper. And if she couldn't have that, she'd eat fish. And if that wasn't available she had no problem eating forest prey.

"Wait, hold on-" The long-legged cat stopped in his tracks to stare at Fawnspots- dark blue eyes wide with disbelief. "Your telling me you'd prefer hunting in that mucky place and get your fur all wet and dirty?" His voice was filled with disbelief as he continued on the path. Yeah, me and Fawnspots definitely have our differences. He thought shaking his head, tail flicking on the leaf strewn ground. Okay, there's one difference. I've yet to find out more about her. "You can have that all for yourself. I'll stick to the forest and the moorlands." Moleksin added with a small scoff, thin tail held high in confidence. Hunting on dry land was his thing. Since his fur wasn't as thick or long as everyone else's, it made it harder for him to feel comfortable hunting in water or in the marshes. The sight of the willow trees were good and all, but it wasn't worth risking his warmth over. Moleskin paused for a moment, thinking of another question. "Hmm- well, what are your ambitions in life? Become senior warrior, become deputy, clan leader, what?" It may have been a total change of subject of their last conversation, but Moleskin was curious about Fawnspots. If we're going to be hanging out on patrols like this, I need to know more about her. It was what the Oriental tomcat stood for. Getting to know a cat before deciding how they felt about them. Not catch feelings for someone while getting to know them. He already had cats who thought less of him for reasons he would never understand. And he always said he didn't care, but deep down he did. And Fawnspots was a cat who didn't care. The perfect cat for him to get to know.

(ooh, warrior of love :3. May that be a sign *squiggles eyebrows*?)
The small deer-like molly couldn't help but giggle at how shocked he was at her answer, her tail shaking from side to side as she did so. She looked up at him with wide brown eyes. "Well, I suppose it makes more sense for you to hate it. I mean look at you, you've barely got fur to keep you warm. How'd you ever make it through winter?" She mewed in reply, a playful gleam in her eyes. Fawnspots's then placed a paw on her chest, signifying herself, "But I- oh, I love a good hunt in the marshes. Then right after take a nice swim in the river and then return to camp and groom it all off. And have a nice fish or frog before returning to the den." The simple thought already made her feel warm. And a small smile came across her face. "It's always so warm and comforting to go to sleep after a nice swim." A low purr rumbled deep within her throat. Her eyes closing for a moment before she shot a look over at Moleskin as he asked another question.
"Hey! How do you get to ask another question? It's my turn." Fawnspots protected, shouldering him playfully. "Hmm. What are my ambitions?" What a serious question. They had gone from playing around to all seriousness. An interesting tom Moleksin was. "Well, to be completely honest, I don't think I have a lot of ambitions. Not at the moment anyway. But I've always strived for peace within the Clan. And that seems to be going well." and that wasn't a lie. She really did want there to be peace in the Clan, and the Clan was peaceful. There were no feuds or anything else going on, and she hoped it'd stay that way for a while.

(hmm maybe lol. i'm definitely sensing a vibe with these two though, but we'll just have to see what happens next in this story <3)
Moleskin scoffed, when she questioned his short pelt. "Yeah right, there's nothing anyone can make me do to get me in anything wet." It may be true that it made you feel warm afterwards, but during, oh it was terrible! All cold and wet. He shivered as he could just feel it now. The cold claws of the water scorching across his pelt, stealing the air from his lungs. A flashback of him drowning as a kit blurred his vision for a split second and he shook out his pelt. Not wanting to talk about water anymore.
It didn't take long for the dark gray tom to return to his usual good-humored self. A smirk scrawling over his maw as she mewed in protest, shouldering him. "Well, easy, first come first serve. Its only fair." He mocked her earlier words with a chuckle. His whiskers twitching in his amusement. Moleskin was having so much fun chatting with her, he didn't realize how the trees of the forest gave way to thinner trees and a more open forest. Beech Tree Grove. They'd arrive, but he had to admit, he didn't feel like traveling all the way to moorland. "Hey, how about we just hunt here and meet up by the river at the same time? I'm not really in the mood for moorland hunting. Maybe another day where the two of us are actually in the mood for it?" It'd be fun to go out with Fawnspots again. She was a pretty okay she-cat to be around and he enjoyed her company.
But back to the hunting, from the smells of it, prey was near. And Moleskin was itching to go out and hunt. He began kneading his claws impatiently at the enticing scents. His mouth beginning to water at the scent of a vole. Without waiting for an answer, the Oriental cat turned his head and sniffed towards the scent. Hesitantly making his way towards it. For the moment, forgetting all about Fawnspots. The long-legged cat followed the scent until he came across the fairly plump brown creature, nibbling on a fallen beech seed. Perfect. Moleskin thought as he dropped into hunter's crouch.

Fawnspots noticed how Moleskin's mood dropped as he mentioned the river again. A haunted look clouding his blue eyes. Had she done something wrong? She'd forgotten about what the tom had been through before the Clan found him. How he was found drowning in the river, trying his best to fight the dangerous currents. Mouse-brain. She scolded herself, turning her amber gaze away from the gray cat. Focusing ahead of them. The small brown molly chose not to say anything else about the water. I've said enough about it already. Obviously. Though she was still was curious. Where did Moleskin come from? And why was he in the river? What good mother would let her kit wonder off that far anyways? But Fawnspots doubted she'd find out the truth anytime soon since the topic of just 'water' made Moleskin feel uncomfortable. Let alone what had happened to him.
The sound of Moleskin's playful meow was what snapped Fawnspots out of her embarrassment. A small smile forming on her face as he mocked her words from before. "I suppose you have a point." She mewed in feign defeat. Fawnspots then noticed that they'd arrived in the denser part of the forest. Faint rays of sunlight giving it a beautiful golden glow. And it was fairly warmer than what it usually was. Spring. Here at last. Then Moleskin spoke up again, but before she could reply, the long-legged cat was stealthily padding away. His ears perked and tail direct. She watched him for a moment before she too caught the scent. The hybrid stood for a moment; debating on whether to go after him and help or just go out on her own direction. Moleskin looked just fine on his own. But the smell of dry-food did sound delicious right about now....
Without another moment of hesitation, Fawnspots began creeping after him. Going around him and crouching under a bush. Readying herself to leap out if the vole got a away. Though she doubted it since Moleskin was a pretty superb hunter.

(sorry this is so short, I'm multi-tasking atm)
As he neared, the vole wobbled down further away from him. Stopping to sniff the roots of a nearby tree. From the corner of Moleskin's blue gaze, bushes waved wildly. And he knew instantly it was Fawnspots. The tom only flicked his ear in acknowledgement to her presence. Though he doubted he would need her help. He had things under control and nine times out of ten he'd catch it, even if it ran. Dropping into hunter's crouch, the Oriental tomcat eased closer to the small brown rodent, careful not to step onto any twigs or fallen leaves. Then he froze. Holding his breath and locking his blue eyes onto the vole as it began to move again. Heartbeats passed before Moleskin finally rose and launched himself through the air. Claws slipping from their sheaths and his legs outstretched. The dark gray cat landed squarely on the vole's back. Leaning all his weight onto his forlegs as he landed. The rodent's spine snapping at the impact. A wonderful sound to his ears. His blue eyes darted over to the bush in which his companion took refuge, signaling for her with his tail for her to come out. "Cost is clear. I caught it."
