"The mountains are a harsh and unforgiving environment. You've done well to arrive here." You look up to meet the gaze of the massive brown tabby tom who stood on the rocks above you. Varying circumstances have led you here to the mountains, and almost immediately upon your arrival, four cats slid forth from the rocks to greet you, as if they had sensed that a newcomer had arrived in their land. You had smelled the scent marks as you had entered the area, almost like a barrier repelling you with unfamiliar smells. However, you had been too tired to care, and you had pressed on. The tom continued to speak. "This is PeakClan territory. I assumed you detected our scent markers at the border." He mewed, flicking his tail down the rockslide you had just traversed. "Seeing as you crossed into our territory anyway, we must assume you're an intruder. Do you have a reason for doing so?" He asked. Although you were exhausted, you couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity. Territory? Border? You thought. You wondered what kind of organization this group of cats had. "What do you mean by territory?" You asked in response. At this, another cat, a black tom with russet paws, lets out an impatient hiss. "Eaglestar, it's clear this cat has no idea what a clan is. We should drive them out and be on our way!" He mewed. The brown tom called Eaglestar raised his tail in response, as if to silence the black cat. "It's okay, Cliffclaw." His amber gaze turned back to you. He looked intrigued. "That sounded more like curiosity than a challenge. You don't seem like you're here to steal prey. Would you like to learn more about PeakClan?" He offered, amid mews of surprise from the other cats accompanying him. You are surprised at the offer. You had not expected an offer to join a group of cats here. But then again, you had come here for a new life -- a better life. Perhaps these cats could be a benefit for you, and you could be a benefit for them. Nevertheless, the sound of a community was deeply interesting. Slowly, you nod your head. "Alright. I'll come with you." You reply. Eaglestar's gaze warmed at your reply. "Good." He meowed, before he turned and began to make his way up the slope. Immediately, the other three cats fell into ranks behind him. "Follow us. We'll take you to our camp."
Forum Rules - - Please follow all Forum Rules. You can read the Forum Rules here Literacy - - I'm not asking that you write a novel, but I do expect correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. What I mean by that is dnt tlk lyk dis. It's annoying and hard to understand. If you want to use "&" instead of "and" that's completely okay. When you're not roleplaying, you can use text talk as much as your little heart desires. Activity - - Please don't join then never come back, you'll be wasting your time and mine. I understand if you're busy and can't come on everyday. I do ask that you try to come on once a week to roleplay. If you don't roleplay for 3 weeks, without prior notice, I'm afraid I will have to delete you. But you can always rejoin. Respect - - My most important rule. Be nice. I hate bullies with a passion. If you are mean to someone you get a strike, 3 strikes and you're out and cannot rejoin. End of story. Kit-Killing/Stealing - - Kit-killing is not allowed by any outside users. It is allowed within the clan only if it is part of a plot that I, and the user roleplaying the kit, allows it. Kit-stealing is not allowed under any circumstances and will be reported. Roleplay - - When you're not roleplaying, use (), [], {}, OOC, or something to help others identify whether or not you're roleplaying. Like I said before, text talk is not aloud during roleplay, but is aloud when you're not roleplaying. Also, keep all roleplay PG/PG-13 Spam - - Do not spam or advertise. "_______ come to _______" every once in a while is okay, but don't make a habit of it. Characters & Realism - - No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stues. This is a realistic roleplay, so I want all characters to be realistic. So no perfect characters, please. No cats with powers, wings, or pink fur. Also, try to make the warrior names realistic as well. For example, please don't use the names Dragonclaw or Magicpelt. There is no character limit. You may make as many as you can handle. But if you make 3 or more characters, I ask that you don't make them all the same gender. I'm not going to ask you to make a tom for every she-cat, but I want the gender ratio to be somewhat even. I'm not expecting it to be exactly even but I don't want it to be 1 tom for every 6 she-cats. Also, you cannot start out as a StarClan cat or Dark Forest Cat. If you are going to start out as a queen, you must have a mate and kits/be pregnant or have a backstory on what happened to your mate and why you do not have one at the time of joining. And if you want to make a kit, you should make another cat of another rank, and can only make a kit without a mother if there is an open queen willing to foster a new kit. And since there always tends to be too many apprentices, there should only be one apprentice per every three warriors. Have Fun! - - My second most important rule. I made this roleplay for the enjoyment of myself & others. If you have an idea for a plot to make this roleplay more enjoyable, please tell me. There are no bad plots. I will do my best to try to use that plot. Sorry if these rules seemed harsh.

PeakClan is a Clan that lives in the mountains. These mountains are more low-lying and do not experience as much snowfall, so life is not as difficult as other mountainous regions. However, the abundance of rock and ice is hard on the paws, and prey is difficult to find. While most cats struggle in such an environment, PeakClan cats excel. Moons of traversing the rocky terrain have given them hardened, callused paw pads and lean, powerful leg muscles from leaping from rock to rock. PeakClan cats are also fast, a byproduct of chasing down fleet-footed hares and roadrunners that make the shrubby lowlands of the mountains their homes. PeakClan cats usually have black, brown, gray, and/or white pelts to blend in with the mountain terrain. Golden pelts are rare, and ginger even rarer. Above all, PeakClan cats are loyal and determined, and are persistent in everything they do. Season - - new-leaf [ ] green-leaf [ ✕ ] leaf-fall [ ] leaf-bare [ ] Prey - - Mice (Very Common) Bats (Very Common) Voles (Common) Small Birds (Common) Squirrels (Uncommon) Rabbits (Rare) Roadrunners (Very Rare) Predators - - Eagles (Very Common) Wolves (Common) Hawks (Common) Vultures (Uncommon) Owls (Rare; can be dangerous to kits) Cougars (Very rare) The mountains were never a place meant to be inhabited by cats. But things changed when a young tom named Boulder arrived in the moors, before any of the Clans existed. There, he met a beautiful silver tabby she-cat named Ripple. Ripple was alone, and struggling to care for her three kits. Kind at heart, Boulder offered to help her care for them. He had grown weary of his travels and longed to settle down. Time passed, and Boulder and Ripple grew closer, and eventually became mates. Their life was happy, until one day, a gang of foxes invaded the small den they called home. Starved and crazed for blood, the wily foxes hunted them down wherever in the forest they went, and they were eventually forced to escape into the mountains, the one place even the foxes refused to follow. Unfortunately, they had arrived at an unforgiving season, and in the coming leaf-bare, two of Ripple's three kits died. Desperate to protect the remaining kit, Boulder forced himself to adapt to mountain hunting to provide for it, and developed the signature hardened paw pads of PeakClan cats. Thanks to Boulder's resourcefulness, the family survived leaf-bare, and in the following newleaf, Ripple revealed that she was pregnant with her and Boulder's kits. Meanwhile, Ripple's surviving kit, Beetle, was growing older, and Boulder began to train him in hunting in the rough mountain terrain, like a mentor and an apprentice. While they were hunting, they came across a starving cat, who was clearly struggling to hunt in the terrain. Boulder offered to teach his techniques to the tom, allowing him to catch prey much easier. In return, the grateful rogue promised to help Boulder provide for his family. The tom, who was named Flame, began to visit Boulder and Ripple often. They were soon joined by another cat, a young apprentice-aged tom named Sparrow, who also hunted with them. News spread about the small community of cats that was growing in the mountains, and more and more cats came to join them, eager to learn how to survive in such an unforgiving territory. While he appreciated having extra hands to help, Boulder was unsure how to lead such a large group. To clear his head, he decided to take a walk up the mountain. Almost as if by destiny, his paws carried him farther and farther, until he eventually reached the top of the mountain. When he reached the top, he was shocked by what he saw. Starry cats surrounded him, eyes of starlight glowing in the darkness. A single cat stepped out from the crowd, an elegant she-cat with a pelt full of stars. She told him that his group of cats was destined to become a Clan, and Boulder, their first leader. The peak of the mountain was where he had found his answer. She told him to take on the name 'star', and lead the cats in the ways of the wild. Taking her words to heart, Boulder decided to acknowledge the cats of the stars. He returned to the group, now named Boulderstar, to find that Ripple had given birth to his daughter, a young she-cat. To mark the beginning of the new Clan, as the cats of the Peak, Boulderstar named her Peakkit. He made Flame his second-in-command, who would eventually been known as the deputy, and PeakClan began. Many moons later, the current PeakClan continues to thrive. Peakkit eventually grew into the second leader of the clan, Peakstar, and took Sparrow, then known as Sparrowtail, as her mate. They had two kits, Mousetail and Icewhisker, who are now elders in the Clan. As a warrior, Icewhisker mentored a young cat called Eaglepaw, who is now Eaglestar, the leader of PeakClan.

Territory - - PeakClan lives on a mountain that borders CloudClan and AlderClan. The mountain is normally a difficult place to traverse, so it isn't often visited by strangers. There are three layers to the Clan's territories. The mid-mountain territory, where the Clan lives, the lower shrubland, where the Clan often hunts and trains, and the forestland, an alternate source of prey and herbs. The Sky Falls A huge waterfall on the right-facing side of the mountain, away from the camp. The top of the waterfall is near the top of the mountain and is very hard to reach. The waterfall seems to fall out of the sky due to how high up it is, giving it its name. There is a large pool at the bottom, which is used for drinking and soaking moss. The Great Slide Many, many seasons ago, before cats inhabited the mountain, there was a rockslide that tore through the mountain's side. The aftermath of this was a long slope of rocks and boulders. It is extremely difficult for cats to traverse the precarious, jutting rocks like PeakClan cats can, and serves as their main source of frontal camp defense. The abandoned mine shaft where the Clan makes camp lies at the top of the Great Slide, and the shaft was most likely abandoned due to the rockslide. Vulture's Nest The Vulture's Nest is an area near the top of the mountain where a group of vultures make their home. The carrion birds do not bother the cats and vice versa, and the two species live in relative harmony. The cats thin out prey animals that could attack the vulture's hatchlings, such as rats, and the vultures clear out carrion in the mountain that would otherwise spread disease among cats. Despite this, cats usually do not venture too close to the nests, as the vultures are usually mean-tempered and will attack if they sense danger to their young. The Star Peak The point at the top of the mountain is sacred to PeakClan, and they treat it as a place to contact StarClan for the Clan. A massive condor calls the peak its home. The cats greatly respect the bird, and do not disturb it, although new apprentices are taken to meet the bird as a clan tradition. The Lower Shrubs The shrub land near the base of the mountain serve as the most prey rich area and is the most common hunting ground of the Clan. It can also be a source of mountain herbs. There is also a shallow dip that is used for training here. The Forbidden Valley On the back side of the mountain, away from the Clan, is a large valley hidden by dark ferns and undergrowth. Although the fringes of the valley are sometimes used for valuable catmints, PeakClan cats keep well away from it. This is because a bizarre group of crazed rogue cats call the valley their home. The rogues do not bother the Clan, so the Clan leaves them alone, but avoids them all the same. The Alder Forest A piece of forestland on the AlderClan border is part of PeakClan territory, and is important because it is a valuable source of healing herbs for the Clan. It is also an alternate source of prey, and provides prey that is different from those in the mountains. Camp - - PeakClan makes their camp in an abandoned mine shaft some distance up the mountain. The shaft is a large one with several tunnels to house the various dens. Mine cart tracks crisscross most of the camp, and newcomers to the Clan may lose their footing on the metal rails, although PeakClan cats are very accustomed to walking across them. In the center of a camp is a large, overturned mine cart which the leader uses to address the Clan during meetings. The fresh-kill pile is beside it. Leader's Den The Leader's Den is the tunnel that leads farthest back into the cave. The back of the tunnel was originally going to be excavated, but was eventually blocked by a rockslide, shaping out the perfect natural den. It is slightly raised, and there is a small slope to get up to it. Medicine Cat's Den A tunnel originally meant for storage of supplies, after it was abandoned, several shelves were left behind. Eventually, they collapsed, leaving a network of platforms around the tunnel that are perfect for herb storage. There is a small natural stream that runs just behind the den that serves as a source of drinking water. Warriors' Den The Warriors' Den is on the right side of the cave, facing towards the entrance of the camp. It is a large cavernous tunnel with a rocky outcropping to keep out wind. Apprentices' Den The Apprentices' Den is a tunnel on the left side of the camp. It faces slightly inward, towards the nursery and is smaller, but longer. Although blocked off, it is one of the longer tunnels in the camp, and new apprentices enjoy exploring it. Nursery The Nursery is a cozy cave tucked in between the Medicine Den and Warriors Den. The floor of the Nursery is one of the few places in the shaft with natural grass growing on the floor, and when reinforced with outside moss and feathers, it is the perfect place to raise young kits. Elders' Den The Elder's Den is near the back of the camp on the left side, away from the apprentices. It is well padded with moss to keep the Elders warm and the den quiet.

Leader - - Eaglestar Eaglestar is a large, light brown tabby tom with warm amber eyes. He has a long tail with black stripes, and black markings all along his pelt. Eaglestar is a mautre, level-headed cat. He is diplomatic and sees every angle of an issue before tackling it. He cares deeply for his clanmates and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Although Eaglestar is easygoing, when it comes to his clanmates' safety, his a completely different cat. He is not one to start battles, but will by no means back down from one if the Clan's safety is at risk. 40 moons ~Skyblaze~ Deputy - - Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Medicine Cat - - Pebbleshine Pebbleshine has soft gray fur with a white underbelly. She has dandelion yellow eyes. She is a calm and peaceful cat that would prefer to talk something out rather than battling. If you get to know her you might learn that she can be feisty when it comes to her friends and their safety. She could seem carefree but you should know that she is normally very busy. When she was younger she would always take interest on what the old med cat would do. Sometimes she would be teased by the other kits for not wanting to play battle or moss ball. 38 moons Vinyl Medicine Cat Apprentice - - Ebonypaw Ebonypaw is a rossetted silver bengal with very dark black markings. Her fur is short but thick and luxuriously soft. She identical to her older sister Quietstream except her eyes are pale sage green. Highly intellegent, curious, and playful, Ebonypaw likes to be friends with everyone. This can make her a little bit naive at times, but in times of hardship she can be a very serious and mature cat. 9 moons Quietstream Warriors - - Cliffclaw Cliffclaw is a short-haired jet black tom with russet paws and muzzle. His eyes are a cold blue. Cliffclaw is Eaglestar's littermate, but their personalities are vastly different. Unlike his brother, Cliffclaw is impulsive, aggressive, and intolerant. He is more than willing to start a fight if it means resolving something quick and easily, rather than trying to find an alternate solution. He is arrogant and thinks very little of kittypets, rogues, and the other clans. Nevertheless, he does respect Clan rules, and Eaglestar's position. But the dark-pelted tom's arrogance and warmongering ways have led him to feel that the Clan would be much better off with a leader that prefers to battle his way through things. 40 moons ~Skyblaze~ Icestorm Icestorm is a pure white-pelted she-cat with pale blue eyes. The only other color on her pelt is black, on her tail tip and underbelly. Icestorm is a friendly, energetic young she-cat. A fairly new warrior, she is still getting used to the new freedoms and responsibilities her position entails. She can be quite analytical when she's serious and focusing on something - the issue is getting her to actually sit down and try to solve it. A friendly and loyal she-cat, she is easy to make friends with. Despite her playful, energetic side, she also has a fierce, protective side that will only come out when someone she cares about is in trouble. When she gets mad, Icestorm is more "fire" than "ice". Her temper is tumultuous, but thankfully usually fades out quickly. 20 moons ~Skyblaze~ Brambleheart Light brown tabby with white paws, belly and nose. An agile & lean she-cat, her greatest strength being her speed and keen eye sight. A wise soul hides behind a fun, optimistic persona. Brambleheart has an unique ability to make everyone feel appreciated, and an eye for detail. Her good mood is extremely contagious, and she is just as respected in the clan as her mate. Despite her bubbly personality, she is more intelligent than she gets credit for. In dark times, Brambleheart is a voice of reason and hope who will stand by her mate and clan through anything. The epitome of a Hufflepuff, she dedicates her every day to keeping her clan safe - and more importantly, happy. 38 moons Dragoness Goosetail Goosetail is a sleek, long furred, pale silver tom. His tail is quite fluffy and has a black tip. His front right paw is also black. He has pale blue eyes with darker flecks throughout the iris. Goosetail is an extremely empathetic cat and tends to rely on diplomacy before engaging in physical encounters. His fatal flaw would be how empathetic he can be, as it can sometimes cloud his judgment. Goosetail was born and raised in PeakClan with his littermates Lilynose and Nightpaw. His parents are Yarrowfang and Snowheart. 30 moons bumblewing Lilynose Lilynose is a small white she-cat with extremely pale silver splotches all over her pelt. She has a pale pinkish nose and warm amber eyes. Ever since her brother Nightpaw's death, she tends to be more quiet than usual. Despite being quiet most of the time, she genuinely enjoys being around her clan mates and interacting with them. She was born and raised in PeakClan with her littermates Goosetail and Nightpaw. Her parents are Yarrowfang and Snowheart. 30 moons bumblewing Badgerstrike Brown and white tabby tom with black paws and ears. His eyes are a vivid green with flecks of brown if you look closely enough. Badgerstrike is a very loyal cat with no room for betrayal or disloyalty. He is smart and thoughtful, but not a good fighter. He's very good at hunting and running, his body seems to be build for that more than anything else. 28 moons ~Tigerblaze~ Blackstone All black tom with a white tail tip. His eyes are a light green, with a ring of brown in each of them. He is a stealthy cat, good at moving silently. He can climb and run at a fast pace, and tends to attack from above. His fur gives him an advantage, and he uses it to get the upper paw. 28 moons ~Tigerblaze~ Russetclaw Russetclaw is a slender Egyptian Mau tom with large green eyes. He has warm bronze ground color across his head, shoulder, outer legs, back and tail with round black spots. The color is at its darkest at the "saddle" area, and from there the color lightens on the sides to tawny buff. His belly is a beautiful creamy ivory color, his nose is a brick red and ears have brown-black tips. Russetclaw is bossy and fierce, but loyal. He has a terrible temper and sometimes loses it in certain situations, he's cautious around new things and others. He's very protective of Mistbreeze, but tries not to show it. Russetclaw isn’t very outgoing, he doesn't like large groups. But he's quite but he speaks his mind whenever he wants, he has his own world around him where he’s not bother by what others say. Born with his sister, Mistbreeze, to a loner named Lily. One day their mother left and never came back. Russetclaw felt was a waste of time to wait for her and decided to look for a new home with Mistbreeze and they found Peakclan. 26 moons Taiyou Mistbreeze Mistbreeze is a slender Egyptian Mau she cat with large green eyes. She has pale silver across the head, shoulders, outer legs, back and tail with round black spots. Her underside is a brilliant pale silver, with markings of paler undercolor charcoal with white to pale silver. The back of her ears are of grayish pink with black tips and her nose is a brick red. Mistbreeze is energetic and outgoing, opposite of her brother. She's a little reserved and her curiosity runs rampant sometimes causing trouble. She has an open mind and enjoys running around to staying in one place. Mistbreeze is loyal, and brave, willing to risk her life for another in danger. Born to a loner she cat, named Lily until one day Lily left them and never came back. Mistbreeze wanted to stay and wait but Russetclaw didn't want to so the two traveled looking for a new home and found Peakclan. 26 moons Taiyou Fallenlight Very dark grey tom with lighter silver markings that look like silver pelt. Deep, kind blue eyes. He is a little conceited, but has everyone's best interests at heart. He longs to have a family but is too shy to talk to any she-cat. 28 moons Quietstream Quietstream A rossetted silver bengal with very dark black markings. Her fur is short but thick and luxuriously soft. She identical to her older sister Ebonysage, except her eyes are a frosty pale blue. This she-cat is extremely introverted, she never seems to talk to anyone but her kin. Underneath she is a very sweet and caring cat who just longs to open up to a least one cat. 28 moons Quietstream Apprentices - - Windpaw Windpaw is a bluish-gray she-cat with leaf-green eyes. She has pale white dapples along her pelt, and a white muzzle. Her tail has black rings along it like a raccoon. Windpaw is a kind, level-headed she-cat with a thirst for knowledge. She is very curious, with questions about almost everything, and would require a patient mentor in turn. She is very intelligent and has a good nose, making her a keen hunter. However, she is somewhat small, and finds it very difficult to overcome larger opponents in battle training. This is a large insecurity for her, and she becomes very flustered and embarrassed if someone mentions it. 7 moons ~Skyblaze~ Heronpaw Heronpaw is a very tall she-cat, with soft, white fur. Both her ears and the tip of her tail are jet black, and her tail is unusually long. She has dark green eyes, which resemble that of an emerald. Heronpaw is a very interesting cat, to say the least, as she likes to take care of bees. She found a bee hive that wasn't doing too well in a drought, and provided it with as many flowers as she could find. She is stung quite often, but it doesn't faze her in the slightest. She has a high pain tolerance. Heronpaw is night-owl, and an early-bird, so she doesn't need to much sleep to function in life. She hopes those two traits will help her to become the most efficient warrior. 7 moons Dragoness Sandpaw Sandpaw is a short furred cream colored tom with pale amber eyes. He has a very bright and bubbly personality and is always eager to train and explore PeakClan territory. His eagerness can get him into troubling situations though sometimes if he isn't careful. Unlike most cats, Sandpaw wasn't born into the clan. He was originally born a loner and was separated from his family at a young age. By luck, he happened upon PeakClan and joined the clan. 8 moons bumblewing Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Queens && Kits - - Smokepelt Smokepelt is muscular black smoke Maine Coon she cat with a fluffy tail and copper eyes. She has a fur a mane around her neck. Her black fur has grey going through gradually getting darker till it's all black at the end. She has white fur coming out her ears with random white furs all over. Smokepelt is a bit rough around the edges and tends to be very over protective of her kits. At times she's fierce and demanding, having a bad habit of being strict. Other times she is calm but if she becomes uneasy she quick to fight. Smokepelt is a former rogue and lived with her mare Haze. They made their nest in a hollow oak tree, one day a terrible storm hit and while trying to reach higher ground Haze was swept away. Her kits were born while she looked for a new home, one day she crossed paths with a patrol and asked for help. Realizing she had nowhere else to go, she joined Peakclan for her kits safely. She took a warrior name but is still wary about being in a clan so it's hard for her to accept some of the rules and other cats. He has green eyes, with his right eye clouded over and blind from age. His muzzle has some white whiskers due to age. One of Peakstar's sons, Mousetail has been in the Clan for many seasons. He served as a senior warrior for many moons, eventually retiring due to failing eyesight in his right eye, which eventually went completely blind. Mousetail is a friendly, good-natured tom who, in his old age, prefers to take most things lightly. As a warrior, he was loyal and a fierce fighter. He is patient with kits and apprentices and enjoys sharing stories. When he was a warrior, he mentored Cliffclaw, and one of his biggest regrets was that he was never able to teach the tom the value of compassion. 97 moons ~Skyblaze~ Icewhisker Icewhisker is Peakstar's other kit, a small black and white tom with amber eyes. Icewhisker is more introverted than his brother and a bit cranky. He has a gruff, somewhat stern exterior, and this often gives him an intimidating and unapproachable air. However, underneath his tough and grumpy image is a cat with a good heart and deep care for his clanmates. Although his words may be harsh, he is always willing to offer advice to a struggling apprentice, kit, or even warrior who is willing to talk to him. The reason for Icewhisker's grouchiness is mainly due to pain. Shortly after becoming an elder, he developed a skeletal problem that made his bones frail and brittle, causing great pain for him when he moves too suddenly or if his joints are sore. Due to this, he spends most of his time in his nest. Despite complaining often, Icewhisker is a very wise old tom, having been the mentor of the leader, Eaglestar. 97 moons ~Skyblaze~ Yarrowfang Yarrowfang is an old all black she-cat with the exception of a gray tinge around her muzzle. Ever since she was young, Yarrowfang has had a short temper. She is the cranky elder most apprentices tend to avoid. Battle Moves - - Back kick Explosive surprise more to catch opponent from Behind. Judge opponents distances from you carefully, then lash out with you back legs, taking the weight on your front paws. Back rake A bit like Belly rake, if your a SkyClan cat this move works best. If your fighting a cat from the front, jump over the cats head and score your claws down their back. Belly rake A fight stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponents belly. If your pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control. Double death bite Seems dishonorable and is only used against very evil cats. A partner and you take on one cat. Once you've got a hold of your opponent, your partner helps hold down enemy cat, and you both bite hard down on enemy cat's throat. Two pairs of jaws will cut off airway and cat will choke to death. Like I said, it's considered dishonorable and would only be used against evil cats like Tigerstar. Dizzy dance Only can be preformed by a extremely small and quick cat against a larger and at least somewhat slower cat. The cat charges head on then swiftly leaped sideways, ducking under the cat then as soon as the cat preforming this attack is out from under the other cat it spins and leaps over it. Then once More spins but rams the side then jumps over/goes under the cat and rams the other side then land one final blow by leaping onto the cat's back and grabbing the scruff with teeth and using your free paws to batter the cat's head. This attack should in the end result in a dizzy or confused enemy. Dizzy tackle A great move for swift young warriors facing older, larger warriors. You run in circles around them at top speed until their to dizzy or tired (if the were chasing you) to keep up. Then you tackle them. While they are down, attack. Caution, standing directly over them makes you vulnerable to the Belly Rake. This is a One-on-one move and is not recommended in a place with many foes. Front paw blow Frontal Attack. Bring your front paws down hard on you opponents head, claws unsheathed. Front paw strike Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed. Killing bite A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. Leap and hold Ideal for a small cat facing a large opponent. Spring onto the opponents back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent paws and in the position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Leap-and-cover Ideal for making your opponent feel much pain, leap onto your opponent's back and put your paws over their eyes. For the moment the opponent is blinded, sink your claws into the soft skin around their eyes. If your opponent doesn't run away, take advantage of their temporary blindness and perform leap-and-hold move. Making sure You never know if a opponent is actually dead. When an opponent goes limp, they become vulnerable, so make sure they are really dead. Bite and slash. Claws unsheathed. When you think they have gone to StarClan, pray and leave. Partner fighting Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the others back while fending off an opponent o either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be whirlwind of danger for attackers. Play dead Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxed his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and you are in the attacking position. Scruff shake Secure a strong teeth grip in the scuff of your opponents neck, then shake violently until he or she is to rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. Tail trip The opponent moves to you and at the right moment, trip them with your tail. Teeth grip Target your opponents extremists- the legs, tail, scuff, or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap and hold, except your claws remain free to fight. Unbalancing act If a cat is going to bring down all its weight on you while rearing on its back legs, role towards your opponents hind legs to unbalance him. Upright lock Final, crushing more on already weakened opponent. Rear up on your back legs and bring full weight on your opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed. Battle Tactics - - Approach from behind your enemy The advantage is gaining the higher ground is that you can charge at greater speed at the enemy, who will be weakened by having to fight uphill. Use the light from the sun The sun should be behind you to dazzle your Use the light from the sun enemy. In green leaf, the midday sun is especially bright and cruel to cats who are used to sulking under the cover of the trees. In leaf bare, the low sun hovers around the eye line like a troublesome bee, keep your enemy from facing it, and they'll have trouble seeing an attacker from any direction. Know were the wind is coming from If there is a strong wind, it should be blow from behind you toward the enemy, blinding them with dust and holding them back like a current of a river. If you wish to preserve the element of surprise, the wind should blow from the enemy position toward you so your scent is carried away from them. Conceal the size of your force The number of cats in your battle patrols can be hidden to confuse the enemy from a distance. Cats packed tightly together will appear as a small attacking force, encouraging the enemy to be over confidant and make poor strategic decisions. Alternatively, is cats are spread out in signal file, they will look like a solid border of warriors, which will seem impenetrable to an advancing enemy. Attack from both ends of the Enemy first If both ends of the enemy line are defeated, the cats in the center of the line will have to fight the two fronts. Even if they are outnumbered, the will be out flanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Keep fresh warriors in reserve Always have adequate reserves of fresh, fit warriors behind the battle line. They will be able to replace injured warriors, launch a separate attack if the enemy tries to encircle your forces, or fend off a surprise enemy from the rear. If the battle is in your favor, finish it by sending your reserve warriors behind the enemy line to surround them and demand surrender. Feigned retreat and ambush A group of strong cats charges at the enemy, screeching, then turns and withdraws. Repeat this until the infuriated enemy finally breaks it's line and gives chase. Then the trap is sprung. Other warriors positioned in rabbit holes and other dips in the ground-out of enemy eyes line- attack as soon as your opponents have gone past. The enemy will be forced to stop and turn around to fight the unexpected threat, as they do the retreating cats must turn and charge back at them with full speed. The enemy is caught between two bodies of attacking cats and will quickly surrender. Water Combat - - Double-Front-Paw Splashes water into the face of the enemy. Underwater Leg Sweep (Front of Hind) The opponent will not see it coming under the water so won’t have a chance to brace himself before losing his balance. Push-Down and Release Almost all non-XeoClan cats panic if they are submerged, while XeoClan cats know how to hold their breath underwater. This move can be used to secure a decisive victory, because it’s most likely to make the opponent surrender. Underwater Clinch Uses warrior’s weight to hold the opponent below the surface, with a firm grip that enables the warrior to bring his enemy spluttering back to the surface before forcing him under again. Tail Splash Temporarily blinds opponent by flicking water in his eyes. Underwater Push-Off Crouching and erupting out of the water into opponents, using surprise and impact to knock him off balance. Sandpaw Splash Using noise of water splashed at a distance to create a decoy, leaving opportunity for a surprise attack. Above-Ground Combat - - The Sky-Crusher Landing with all four feet on top of an opponent, flattening him like a leaf. The Flick-Over Landing with front paws outstretched to sweep the opponent off his feet and roll him onto his back. The Kick Kicking down hard as the warrior nears the ground, then using momentum from landing to spring away before the opponent can retaliate. The Slice Dropping down with claws unsheathed for maximum injury. The Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with front claws and swinging hind legs into the opponent’s face. The Reverse Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with back claws and striking with front legs through the swing. The Trunk Swing Sliding down the trunk and springing off at head height, using hind legs to push off and clear opponents. (Good if tree is surrounded.) The Reverse Climb Climbing backward up the trunk as the opponent advances to gain advantage of height; often followed by Trunk Swing. Surprised? - - Move quietly and communicate using tail-signals. Cracking twigs, startling birds, and rustling bracken will tell the enemy exactly where you are. Keep downwind of the trespassers so that your scent doesn’t give you away. Look for freshly broken twigs, overturned leaves on the forest floor, remains of prey, or a clump of fur caught on a bramble. Any animal that moves through the forest leaves behind signs that it’s passed-and signs like this could lead you straight to the invaders. Keep your mouth open to search for unfamiliar scents. Be careful: If there is scent when there is no breeze to carry it through the forest, it could mean that your enemy is very close by. Light-colored pelts are easily seen against brown and green foliage, so stay in the thickest cover. Keep low-the enemy will be looking for movement at normal head height, not close to the ground. Never miss an opportunity to perfect your tracking ability. In the nursery, kits sneak up on their mothers and pounce with their moss-soft paws. Apprentices leap out on one another from behind bushes and tree stumps. These are more than just games. One day, these skills could save your life and defend your Clan.

Sandpaw had woken up rather early that morning. In fact, he had woken up before any cat that day! He decided to find a cozy corner near the entrance of the apprentice den and take in the sight of camp. Slowly as the morning progressed, cats started to fill the main area of camp one by one.
Lilynose suddenly woke up from a pleasant dream. She had been chasing a plump mouse but had woken up just before she could pounce and catch it. She slowly rose from her nest, stretched, and made her way out of the den and to the center of camp. After a moment of taking in the sights of camp, and completely waking up, Lilynose started to make her way over to the fresh kill pile to see if any hunting needed to be done this morning.
Goosetail had woken up only moments after his littermate, Lilynose, and had also proceeded to get out of his nest and make his way to the main area of camp. Instead of checking the fresh kill pile, like his sister, Goosetail sat outside the entrance to the warrior's den. He always took a few moments each morning to gather his thoughts before officially starting his day.
Snowheart and Yarrowfang both laid quietly in the elder's den. They could hear the distant noises of cats awakening and walking about, but were too lazy to get up just yet.

"Good morning, Pebbleshine." Lilynose mewed back. Noticing the fresh kill pile was still quite full, she leaned down and picked out a vole for herself.
Snowheart's ears pricked up as he heard a rustling at the entrance of the elder's den. "Oh," he mewed as the medicine cat entered, "good morning Pebbleshine."
"Thank goodness you're here!" Yarrowfang meowed the moment Pebbleshine entered. "I've had a tick at the base of my tail for what seems like moons!"
