A small group of cats gathered in a very large clearing, sitting in a small circle with a mixture of herbs, bones, and portions of their own blood in the center. They sat together with their eyes closed, speaking in an odd tongue even other cats would not completely understand. As they chanted a small orb of darkness began to float over head, slowly forming into the shape of a cat. One of the cats in the circle began to speak normal, its eyes locked onto the shadowy cat, "We have done your bidding, found this sacred land and brought your body home! Rise oh powerful one, reclaim your land and grant us our reward!" the cat yowled into the sky, the clouds darkening and thunder echoing around them. The dark aura grew larger and settled onto the ground, the other cats stopped chanting and took a few paw steps back. The shadowy feline was caught in what seemed like tornado of darkness, the bones, herbs, and blood being absorbed into the orb.
The cat inside let out a loud screech, it's bright yellow eyes opening as the orb exploded. The circle of cats were thrown in different directions, the darkness expelled from the orb consuming the other cats before they disappeared completely. Only one remained, barely alive as the darkness fed on its body. It looked at the cat in the center, seeing a white she-cat with black and gray speckles along its back and tail. The she-cat padded over to cat calmly, a sly grin gracing her face as she looked down at the cat. The other cat choked out, "B-but our reward..." The she-cat merely chuckled, "This is your reward, your legacy is now mine. Each of your lives will feed me and make me stronger." as the other cat began to sink into the darkness it could hear the she-cat speak again, "I am home..." it watched the she-cat venture around the big clearing before everything went black around the cat.
