Jump in clan rp? (OakClan & The Loners)

[Forums ate half my post. Anyways, I feel like that depends on how long they're going to be away. Do we have a rough estimate?]

Wrenblossom stuck her head into some weeds. At least there were some sort of herbs here, so that was most certainly a good thing. Some of her Clanmates were still M.I.A., though, so that wasn't exactly. But, like always, she tried to focus on the positive. Some of them had made it out okay, at least.

[And this site ate half my message again...nice. Anyways, the option where they go missing for a bit sounds the best. I will agree that it's fairly boring sitting around doing nothing waiting for people to get back so you can RP.]


Also, since it won't let me post this message (keeps saying I need to "provide a message" that's not in brackets), this line of ignorable text that doesn't affect the RP can go right here.

Vireotooth - a lanky, long-limbed, gray-brown tom with a silvery line of scruffy fur running down his back. His eyes are a pale ice blue in color.]

Spiderpaw gave a curious look at Lichenthroat and just shrugged, following behind Rippletail. The small shecat was skeptical that they would find much prey at all on this island but it was worth a try, anything to help the clan recover from this.

I usually make up new cats on the spot, which has resulted in a ton of random warriors characters. Like Dawnpaw and Ravenstar are new as are... pretty much all my characters here right now. cx Although Ravenstar kinda reminds me of my character Rookswindle from way back haha.

Gonna add in an elder and two warriors maybe... I feel as if their should be a tough elder. )

( Added two new warriors for me! A note, Gazesoul was a former enemy and is still not trusted, so uh, try not to have your characters like him too much. cx )

( I plan to have Smallnose hate him with a passion. //Rubs hands together.// Because she's tiny and timid, but also oddly temperamental, and he's very tall and stiff and harsh. cx
Gazesoul is pretty emotionless for the most part, only feeling strongly about "justice"... or... something like that. I don't think I've ever role played him or Smallnose, but they are older characters redeveloped recently.
I have an idea that Gazesoul might have actually killed one of his former comrades during battle, just to show Ravenstar "look, I don't like them anymore, they took things too far, I'm on your side" but Ravenstar's... nice and very loyal, Kirk, so that would, if anything, make it worse. cx

And ok, but I will probably vanish for a bit now to finally do commissions... or procrastinate while doing so. I'll say that these two arrive late, with Gazesoul rescuing Smallnose just because yes. Torture to her. )

Ravenstar, his eyes still fixed on the island, was now pacing, left and right, back and forth, his tail twitching and lashing in his frustration. He was still caught up in his anger and guilt, when movement in the water took him by surprise, and he stopped suddenly, ears perked and expression alert. Was someone else returning?

At first he thought it was a floating white cat on the water, which jolted him a bit. However, he soon noticed the dark form of Gazesoul who was carrying a limp white figure on his back. Despite previous issues with the tom, Ravenstar was actually very relieved to see yet two more survivors. As they reached them he recognized the unconscious, but thankfully still breathing, cat as Smallnose, and helped Gazesoul ashore with her.

"We figured you'd be here. I caught sight of a few of those loners coming in this direction." Gazesoul stated in a low voice once he's recovered. He gave Smallnose a slight poke in the shoulder with a claw while Ravenstar checked her for wounds. "She was fine, but got hit in the forehead in her rush. Tripped over something. She'll wake up soon enough."

As they where talking, it had begun to drizzle, and a distant rumble followed in the sky. Ravenstar sighed, his eyes looking to the sky again.
"... I was hoping for rain." He muttered as Gazesoul headed away, leaving Smallnose laying on the shore nearby Ravenstar.

[I know that procrastination feel. I'm prolonging finishing this oneshot by drawing. And then I'm prolonging that drawing by typing this. Sad part is, even if I get everything finished today, I still can't upload things to d.A. because a glitch locked me out of my account for a couple days to a week.

Other than grooming, the tomcat really wasn't doing much. He'd managed to avoid the patrol, at least, so he was home free...Until somebody called another one, that was. Vireotooth glanced upwards at the sign of rain, his usual wry grin twisting into a grimace. At least it would put out the fire, but he still didn't fancy getting soaked. His pale gaze flickered to the tabby form of Gazesoul. "I see you've made it out alive."

Rippletail nodded dimly, then she too split to begin her search. 

Spiderpaw stalked through the grass, talking her time to make sure her paw steps are light and her body is low, the shecat wasn't the greatest at hunting but she could at least do the basics correctly. She sniffed around, hoping to catch a whiff of some prey.

Gazesoul paused in his walk, turning to face towards the cat who spoke. This expression as usual was rather flat, and he responded in a dull tone. "Evidently."

( Gazesoul has a+ communication skills. He just keeps that to himself. Sorry for short replies, I think I have a touch of rp block today.
Also what to do with my other characters. cx )

Pipit and Ravenstar freaked out.

If possible, Gazesoul frowned even more- his face being in a perpetual frown- and seemed a touch aggravated, if only by the lazy attitude this cat had. The dark tabby was not particularly close to any OakClan member, as he was still not well trusted, or even likeable, so it was not surprise he often seemed aggravated. "Wasting energy..." he muttered, watching as the tom scratched himself. "I would say your grooming is a type of energy loss. If your well enough should you not be hunting, or, something? Moss gathering, makeshift camp building..."

Gazesoul glanced towards Ravenstar as he spoke, who was still by the waterside. He had a bit of respect for the leader; the cat seemed brave and fit, and did genuinely care for almost everyone. But his stillness and determination to sit and wait by the shore was, also, a useless effort. "Has this clan given up?" He asked nobody in particular, his already quiet, growling tone becoming even quieter.

Vireotooth responded with a shrug. "If it gets all this soot out of my fur, not really. And some part of me doesn't think we're going to make camp right on the shore. Too open." The gray-brown tom scratched his ear with a paw. At his next question, despite it being rhetorical, he answered with a  "Wouldn't surprise me."

[I personally think so, yes.

I mean, nothing's really going on in the RP right now.]
