MOONCLAN ~A Remake~ Borders SunClan (OPEN)

(NOTE: For everyone that has previously been part of MoonClan, I have kept records of all your cats you submitted. So if you'd like to join back and keep the characters you had before, just let me know. Stellarfeather and warriorsfan are still on the list, as they have both posted on her recently; of either of you have changed your username here, please notify me.)

MoonClan's territory, much like SunClan's, is half-forest, half-moor. Their territories are split by a river. The river runs through almost the entire territory though stops into a large lake that's located outside of both of the Clan territories. To speak with StarClan, medicine cats and leaders must travel beside the lake and across a few Thunderpaths to a small cave. They must walk deep into it until they find a small dip in the ground- a perfect fit for a few cats. The roof of the cave is open here, revealing the stars. This place is called the Skycave. The Clan, in camp, gathers beside a fallen tree for Clan meetings.

-Follow all Forum rules.



-Do not kill another user's cat without permission from the owner of the cat.



-You can only RP your cats, unless another user has given you direct permission to RP with theirs.



-No kit stealing.



-Please notify me if you want to have something large to happen, such as a patrol fight, prophecy resolution, badger/fox attack, etc.



-Out of roleplay conversation should be done in; []. {}. or ().



-No making perfect/unnaturally colored (pink, purple, green, etc)/supernaturally gifted cats. Accessories are not allowed either, as I want this to be close to how the books are.



-Only one cat can have a certain prefix. Same-suffix cats are fine.



-No cats with impossible or ridiculous backstories.



-Half-Clan cats, forbidden relationships, and prophesies need to be run by me first.



-Be active or you will be deleted after a week. If you have an excuse to be gone, I will allow it. I will keep record of your cat, so that way if you left without warning, but have an excuse, I can add you back.



-Do not make only apprentice characters, please. Try to even out the ratio with warriors, as a lot of the time we run out of mentors for the large amount of apprentices.



-Kits must have mothers.



-There is no limit to number of characters you can have, but please make as many as you can handle, and keep it balanced.

-If you break any of the rules, you get three strikes; once you hit three, you will be notified how many you have.

-As you can see, the medicine cat has two apprentices. We did this for the high demand of the position, but there's a certain way this works. There can only be two medicine cats at one time, and if a third receives a full name, the Eldest medicine cat must either retire or move to warrior duties, the choice is theirs. Of course, when a large number of injured cats needs attending, the retired medicine cat may help out if they choose to do so. If the mentor passes away before an apprentice or two receives a full name, the apprentice who has been trained more will take the place of main medicine cat. If a mentor dies when their apprentice(s) have barely been trained, they are allowed to go to the neighboring Clan and receive their training from the medicine cat there. In the rare occurrence that both Clans have untrained apprentices without mentors, it is left to StarClan to mentor them. If there is one medicine cat with two apprentices that passes away, the retired one may take their place back and continue the training.

Cats of MoonClan:



Leader: Brownstar- He is a dark brown tom with black stripes all over his body. He has a furry tail and tufted ears, and has ice-blue eyes, sticking out on his dark-colored pelt. His front-right paw is pure white. He is a large and muscular tom, knows how to plan things out well, and he's a good thinker. He can come across blunt to cats he doesn't know and rival clan cats. He's a friendly cat when around his clanmates, though. He can be a very aggressive when something threatens his clan. He still mourns the dead off the past leader, Flurrystar, and he hopes to lead his Clan well. Apprentice is Shadowpaw. (Blizzardwolf)





Deputy: Lilytooth- Lilytooth is the father of both Kestrelpaw and Kitepaw and his mate is Bearstomp. Being very stern in his parenting, Lilytooth had hardly let the two out of the nursery when they were kits and disciplined them harshly when they disobeyed, but of course, since they were kits, it was more like a cuff on the ear and a ban from going outside for a moon. Now that they have become apprentices, he seems to be mostly ignoring them, wanting them to experience how the Clan works and learn how to follow rules on their own. As said before, he can be very harsh, and is often like that toward other cats as well, running even hunting patrols like a battle squad. He is a solid white with amber eyes. Medicine Cat: Duskpelt- He is a black tom with dark brown splotches all over him. His tail is gray and he has bright, green eyes. His fur is thick and his paws are small. He is a somewhat friendly tom and can be stubborn if no one will listen. He won't back down from a challenge and is good with kits. He wanted to be a warrior, but he was never good at fighting, but he was good at remembering things and loved to help other clanmates. One of his ears has a deep cut that was from an early (unsupervised) adventure as a kit. He's getting old and is hoping to have his apprentices trained before he passes. His apprentice is Tsunamipaw. Medicine Cap Apprentice: (only two allowed):

Otterpaw- A wild, excitable tom with a sleek, lean body and bright green eyes. His fur is a light, yet warm brown with a few darker streaks through it. His front paws have darker stockings on them while just his paws on his back legs are white. His tail is a bit shorter than a normal cats would be, making his balance a bit off, but not by too much. That was the only reason he became a Medicine Cat apprentice, seeing as he was always off when he tried to hunt. Though with this, he had taught himself to swim, mainly so he can cross the river to retrieve herbs or just to fish. He tends to bounce around and because of this, falls over a lot, causing him to be a bit of a humorous sight. His mother is deceased and his father, Oceanleap, resides in the Elders den. Warriors:



Talonstrike- Older dark gray tabby tom with thick fur. Has white flecks all along his fur, and has large ears. His eyes are a dark green color. He has a few black stripes here and there, making it seem like he has fur-like scars. He seems rude and quiet. He's a no-nonsense kind of cat, and doesn't waste time at all. His brother is Blazetail. Cloudyfur- Long-furred, light gray/blue she-cat with white splotches, which is why she got her name; it looks like clouds cover her fur. Her tail as a scar in it, but why, she's never told anyone, and she has light yellow. She's often told she needs to get her head out off the clouds; you can see her daze off like she's somewhere far, far away. She's a curious, young warrior, and no one doubts her loyalty. Apprentice is Kestrelpaw. (Blizzardwolf)



Blazetail- Black tom with a bushy, reddish tail, and white flecks along his tail. Has dark amber eyes. His fur is short, and he's glad about that; he hates getting wet. He's a stubborn, hot-headed, prideful tom, and will do anything to prove he's right. If you've seen him arguing with anyone, he most likely started it, trying to prove why he is best at a subject or activity. His brother is Talonstrike.(Blizzardwolf)



Thrushwing- Brown and tan tom with short, thick fur. Has tiny white flecks along his back. His tail is very short, as it got infected and they had to cut it off to make sure it didn't spread. He's prickly, but once you get to know him, he's a really kind-hearted cat. Loves to play with kits. (Blizzardwolf)



Lynxclaw- A soft light grey tom with pure white only on his ears. He has a bushy tail and big paws for a cat, his long, slightly fluffy fur matching up to it. He has dark grey fleck on his muzzle, creating the illusion of freckles. His eyes are large and bright yellow, and if one were to spot him in the dark, they would know it was him. He is a bit bigger than one would expect. He is a generally sweet cat, but can get a little prideful when he wins something, though, he tries to be more mature in winning, but it still slips out. He gets along fairly well with other cats, but can get annoying with how bubbly and curious he is even though he's a warrior now. His brother is Cinderfade. Mate is Sunheart. (Blizzardwolf)



Wolffang- Large, furry tom with white fur. Along his back, up his forehead, and down his tail is black fur, making it look like a blanket draped across it. His eyes are a dull yellow color. He's often quiet and slightly prickly, but that's just because he feels out of place among the other cats in his clan. His mate, Roseheart, is the cat that makes him feel most welcome. Cinderfade- A dark grey tom with white spots on his body, mostly on his back and legs. He is long-furred like the rest of his family and has amber eyes, looking almost opposite of his brother. He is a gentle cat but he can get snappy when he's annoyed, but does enjoy playing with kits. He's highly respectful of the other warriors in the Clan and often stays quiet around them, wanting to blend in. When he was a kit he had a sort of dream to be leader, but it stopped when he realized how unlikely that was, making him feel like ‘just the average warrior’. He often finds himself simply laying down and contemplating, not being as excitable as he used to be, though he is okay with the image he has. His brother is

Bearstomp- A dark brown she-cat with grey and white markings over her pelt, running through it almost like streaks. Her eyes are a soft baby blue, coveying her personality quite well. She is very gentle and easygoing, having come from the mountains. She found it very peaceful and enjoyed the scenery. Bearstomp originated from the mountains and arrived to MoonClan at the age a young warrior would be, already equipped with the skills needed for training. Her mate is Lilytooth, and her kits are Kitepaw and Kestrelpaw. Apprentice is Songpaw. (thomas)


Hollysnag- A very large and very fluffy black-furred tom with dark green eyes. His pelt is very thick, protecting him from cold and most attempts at clawing but it does make him quite slow and his face, which has the least amount of fur on it, is quite vulnerable compared to the rest of his body. This is made a bit obvious with the scarring on it- there is one recent one that goes above his right eye, one across his muzzle while part of his upper lip on the left side is actually missing, having been torn off in a fight as an apprentice. He has a few nicks in both ears and can be seen as quite scary looking, though is mostly a sweet and humourous cat. In the threat of danger he can be commanding and a bit rude due to stress but he tries his best for his Clan. He isn't the best hunter out there. He is Clanborn.

Toadmouth
- A dark brown she-cat with black patches and cream-coloured paws as well as her muzzle and the back of her ears. Her eyes are a dark amber and she is, er, you could say she's not really a charmer. She has a sharp tongue and is hostile toward others, occasionally swatting at them when she gets too frustrated. She is stubborn as well and attached to those she gets close to, making her very protective but she does have co-dependency issues, usually being a bit too clingy and needing someone beside her at almost all times. Her jaw is a bit off-set and makes her talking pattern odd. She was born a rogue but joined the Clan as an apprentice not long ago.

Apprentices:



Eaglepaw- Dark brown tabby tom with a tan underbelly. His eyes are a piercing yellow, and he has a long-furred tail, and the rest of his fur is short. He's quiet, but also very kind and soft. Many of the warriors think he's too soft to be a real warrior, but, he doesn't let that get him down. He can't wait to be a warrior, and since he is close to being a warrior, the days seem to be going agonizingly slow. His mentor is Lilytooth.(Blizzardwolf)



Songpaw- Small, skinny she-cat with a dark gray pelt and white spots. No one really knows a lot about her; she'd quiet almost always, and only

talks when she absolutely has to. Her mentor is Bearstomp. (Blizzardwolf)



Kitepaw(Kitescreech)- Kitepaw is a halfway through his training and has a very outgoing personality, often boasting about his latest achievement, whether it be in hunting or fighting. He tries to get on everyone’s good side, though normally ends up becoming an annoyance. His fur is long and quite soft. His face is almost completely white despite some brown markings on his ear and around his eye leading down to his body, where three out of four of his legs are black, one is white. His tail is long and often sweeps the ground when he walks. His eyes are a bright amber. His father is Lilytooth, his mother is Bearstomp, and his sibling is Kestrelpaw. His mentor is Talonstrike. Kestrelpaw- A nearly solid brown she-cat, the only difference being her one black paw and the two white markings under her amber eyes. She is very reserved and respectful, having been taught well by her father when she was still a kit. Like her brother, she is halfway through training, but is gaining experience on her brother quickly thanks to her quiet and attentive nature. Her sibling is Kitepaw, her mother is Bearstomp, and her father is Lilytooth. Her mentor is Cloudyfur. (thomas)



Shadowpaw (Shadowfeather)- Shadowpaw is a beautiful sleek black she-cat with a dark grey muzzle. Her eyes are a neon emerald green that

make her look exceptionally unusual. She is very flirtatious and loves adventure. Her voice is rich and full of laughter, it sounds very mature and somewhat witch-like. Despite her happy exterior, she is sad depressed and is living a double life, taking care of her half brothers. Her history is dark, due to her not being clanborn. She suffered as a kit and during her childhood did not smile her signature crooked smile. Her family includes Rye (father-deceased), Night (Mother-unknown), Otter (Half-Brother-alive), Frog (Half-Brother-alive), Moon (Half-sister-deceased), and Ryu (Half-father-deceased). Rye and Night loved Shadow, her father had been the leader of a band rogues, her mother his second in command and advisor. A rivaling band had been at war with Shadow's family. Her father had offered a trade, Shadow in trade for peace between the two bands. They had accepted but Shadow's father changed his mind at the last minute and thus caused the war to go on. Getting himself and most of his band killed. Shadow and her mother escaped, Night found Moonclan and stayed there for a while with her mewling kit, in the nursery. When she saw how they operated, she decided Shadow could learn to fight and hunt for herself, and then Night would come back to fetch her daughter. But when she came back Shadow had already become an apprentice and was only a short distance away from warriorship. Night finally had the courage to talk to Shadow who was horrified and wished curses upon Night when she learned the truth, Night had left Shadow with three tiny kits and left in shame. Shadow regrets her words to this day and continues to search for her mother. Her mentor is Brownstar. (Stellarfeather)



Bluepaw- Dark blue-gray she-kit with lots of white streaks through her long, thick fur. Her eyes, though she has yet to open them, are a orange-yellow color, sticking out on her dark-colored fur. Her mother is a rouge and father is unknown, and no one knows if she has any siblings. Her mentor is Cinderfade. (Blizzardwolf)





Queens:



Roseheart- Small white she-cat with a few reddish spots along her fur. She's very timid and shy, and often gets scared. The only person she really, deeply trusts is her mate, Wolffang. She's scared at the thought of having kits, but she stays inside the nursery, even though her kits aren't due for a while yet. (Blizzardwolf)



Sunheart- A beautiful golden she-cat with blue eyes. Is a great hunter, but a terrible fighter, but she'll do it at the cost of her life. Loves kits, and is friendly with all her Clan. And, she always says "I would never hurt a fly, as long as it's a fly from my clan!" It means, "I would never harm my Clan." Her mate is Lynxclaw, and her kits are Flamekit, Willowkit, Slatekit, and Wavekit. (warriorsfan55)



Elders:



Liontail- Old, golden tom with dull green eyes. His fur sags around his ribs and cheeks. One can tell he's nearing his time to meet StarClan. His paws and tail tip are black, and white splotches decorate his face. He has many scars from adventures and fights from long ago. He's quiet most of the times, and he's patient with the younger cats. He loves to tell stories, but he knows when to talk, and when not to. (Blizzardwolf)



Oceanleap- An Elder with long grey fur and soft bluish-green eyes. He has white hairs showing in his pelt and very weak legs, almost to the point where he can't lift his meager body weight any more. Despite this, he is very good-humored and gentle, often telling stories to the younger cats who visit him to remove his ticks. He likes to speak about how much he wished he could go back to the moor, but just laughs it off when another cat offers to take him. His son is Otterpaw. (thomas)

Willowkit- Golden she-kit with blue eyes. Is very peppy and can never sit still. Lynxclaw is her father, Sunheart is her mother, Wavekit is her sister, Slatekit is her brother, and Flamekit is her other brother. Was born into MoonClan. Is a normal kit. (warriorsfan55)

Flamekit- A light ginger tom with dark blue eyes. He's spirited, yet fierce, making him want to learn everything he can. Though, he can be a bit stubborn, he's easily swayed with kind words, as opposed to harsh ones. Mother is Sunheart, father is Lynxclaw, brother is Slatekit, and sisters are Wavekit and Willowkit. Slatekit- Dark gray tom with dark green eyes. Has darker gray flecks along his muzzle like his father. Is fierce and dark, making him seem cold and reclusive. He likes to fight, and will often sneak up on random cats around the camp. Father is Lynxclaw, mom is Sunheart, brother is

Sunset- She's a solid, jet-black she-cat. Her eyes are a yellow-orange color, making her have the colors of a burning piece of coal. Her tail is long and skinny, and she has a defensive, prickly personality. (Blizzardwolf)



Frost(Frostnose) - Frost is a long-furred, white-pelted she-cat with grey and amber spots scattered along her fur. She has surprisingly long claws and like to climb trees, getting herself at high angles to look out over the forest and moor. She is quite a happy cat and loves to make conversation, being very positive and friendly. Her siblings often joke that she would talk to even a Monster if she had the chance. Her eyes are a light amber. She's lived in the twolegplace with her mother for almost her entire life, though is only about twelve moons old at the moment. She doesn't hang around twolegs and is more of a loner, catching her own prey, but sleeping in the garden of her mother's Twolegs. Her mother is Hurricane and her siblings are Mud and Splash.
