Joining Page Introduction:
You pad along a the floor of a grassy forest, a breeze ruffling your fur. Your mouth gapes open in a yawn and suddenly an unusual scent hits the roof of your mouth. It is the smell of cats.
Tasting the air, you can scent about three of them, two males and a female. From across a clearing, you spot them, a large brown tom leading the way, with a tortoiseshell she-cat and black tabby tom on his heels. The leader of the three looks at you with calm emerald green eyes.
"What are you doing on PineClan territory?" he asks. The cats behind him bristle and bare their teeth, but he flicks his tail and they slowly flatten their fur.
"What's PineClan?" You wonder. You have heard stories about the cats who lived in groups and fought any rogue or loner who got in their way, but these cats didn't seem, well, ferocious.
"PineClan is a group of cats who own a territory and protect each other," the black tom meows. "Our territory is basically the whole pine groove, plus some of the moorland."
"We call ourselves Clans," the tortoiseshell adds. "That means that we share a close bond with everyone else in it."
"What do you share?" You are curious to know more about PineClan, and tilt your head as the brown tom spoke once more.
"PineClan has the ability to climb trees better than normal cats. Some of our warriors weren't born here, but they soon found they have a knack for climbing. I was the same way."
You blink. "Are you a warrior too?"
"I am Pinestar, the leader of PineClan. These are two of my warriors. Needleheart ," he gestured to the black tom, "and Fallenleaves." Pinestar looks back at you. "You seem very curious about PineClan. Would you like to come back to our camp and learn some more?" History:
Long ago, a beautiful tortoiseshell she-cat named Tree fell in love with a tabby tom named Ground. Ground and Tree loved each other, and soon, Tree was expecting kits. She had four kits and named them Pine, Cedar, Birch, and Oak. Oak was tall and sturdy, Cedar was bold and fast. Birch was quick and wiry, but Pine didn't seem to have any unique qualities. As the kits grew up, they began to expand their horizons and adventure off. Oak left towards the east, where the forest was filled with tall trees reaching for the sky. Cedar moved towards the west, where the prey was plentiful and the resources were many. Birch went for the South, where the shady trees gave him comfort. Pine was left with the north, finding cold weather and bitter winds. But surprisingly, Pine felt at home in the cold; her thick pelt shielded her from the chill and climbing the trees there was easy for her. Pine soon met a tom and they mated, and she had kits. Soon, she was known as the ancestor of the North to PineClan. That is how PineClan got their name. Rules:
~Follow all the Forum Rules as well as the Ghost Rules. I don’t want this Clan to be deleted because someone was out of line.
~No kit stealing or kit killing. The rule on kit stealing can bend if you ask the owner of the kit if it is alright. Kit killing is strictly prohibited. If you want to kill off the kit you are Rping, wait until they are an apprentice to do so.
~Please be respectful to others and try not to leave anyone out. I don't want bullying. I want everyone to feel welcome here. If I find you are being rude, I will make you leave the Clan and either give your character to someone else or delete it all together.
~No Mary-sues or Gary-sues. I don’t want any perfect cats or God-modding. Each of your cats has to have at least one flaw.
~No swearing (cat swearing is allowed). I want this to be appropriate for all ages. Also on that topic, I don’t want any gruesome deaths or injuries.
~No role-playing others' characters. No exceptions.
~Do not kill others' characters. Period. If the owner of the character wants to kill one off, they can do so, but you are not allowed to take it upon yourself and have your character kill theirs. You can ask, but respect their decision.
~No spamming. You are allowed to come and ask for someone, and have a Clan name or link in your signature, but I don’t want anything else.
~Use ( ), { }, or [ ] when not role-playing. I don’t want anyone to be confused when someone is talking outside of the rp.
~Please be realistic. No powers, wings, odd colored fur, or odd colored eyes.
~You may create multiple cats as long as you Rp regularly. There is no limit to how many cats you can make.
~Please keep the gender ratio slightly even. If you have a few she-cats, make a tom. I just want it to be balanced out.
~Please try and be active! I understand that everyone has other things to do or might be gone for long periods of time, so just let me know if you won't be on for a while.
~If you have not been on for more than two weeks, I will remove your characters and place you in the inactive. I will then message you and ask if you want me to delete your charries or place them up for adoption by another rper. (Code to join are the letters PC and then the last letter of your username. Mine would be PCG) Once I have moved you to inactive, you will not be able to bring your charries back. If you want to join the Clan again, you must make new ones. No coming back and adopting your original charries.
~If you have an important role such as Deputy or Medicine Cat and haven't been active for a while, I will remove you from that position and place you as a Warrior or Apprentice, depending on what role you had, and give a more active member the position.
~The medicine cat apprentices will be chosen by medicine cats. If the deputy dies or retires, the leader will choose a new deputy.
~Please have text in a readable font and color. I am perfectly fine with a different color or smaller font, but please make it readable. Some colors clash with the background, or small words get mixed up in my head, so for my sake, make the font readable.
~No one-liners. It is hard to respond to the one-liners, so please write at lease two lines. Also, don’t make your sentences short without any description.
~Let me know which character(s) you are! You don't have to write down ~Somethingpaw~, and then start your rp, but at some point within each post, please say your character’s name(s)
~I am open for suggestions on plots and prophecies for the Clan, but please, if you think of something, let me know and ask my permission before you start a big plot, like a prophecy or a journey. Simpler plots and ideas such as love interests, minor fights with predators, or things between certain characters don't need my permission but make sure it's okay with others if it involves them.
~Crushes and Mates cannot be a one-day thing. It has to take at least two rp days for a cat to develop feelings, a few more to get up the nerve to ask the cat. Then, whether your cat is an apprentice or kit, they have to wait to become mates. I don't want any kit or apprentice mothers or mates.
~If you have any concerns or if something is bothering you, please let me know, I'm always willing to help or adjust things for you.
~Have fun! We are all welcoming and kind, and will make sure you feel like part of the clan! Warrior Cat Code:
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time. (This is not needed, but used when the cats go to Jagged Stones.)
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
Medicine Cat Code:
1. A medicine cat cannot take on a mate.
2. A medicine cat cannot have kits.
3. A medicine cat will never let personal feelings get in the way of his or her duties.
4. Medicine cats are outside Clan and Clan rivalry.
5. A medicine cat may be trained in as a warrior before a medicine cat, but a medicine cat cannot become a normal warrior.
6. Medicine cats are outside Clan rivalries, but they still must learn basic fighting moves.
7. A medicine cat must be able to interpret signs from StarClan.
8. Medicine cats cannot reject an injured cat.
9. A medicine cat must do everything in his or her power to save a sick or injured cat.

Description: Graynight is a dark gray tom with black paws and ears, with green eyes. He has a scar across his right eye from a skirmish with a rouge, and has a toe missing on his back right foot from a fight with a dog.
Personality: Graynight has a very regal personality, rarely losing his temper, and always trying to find the diplomatic solution to every problem.
Flaw: Due to him trying to find solutions to problems, he can sometimes be unprepared for a fight, as well as is a bit on the cold side.

Description (more than two lines please): Sparrowflight is a grey she-cat that has a white muzzle and white front right paw. She has hints of brown along her back. She got her name because of her slightly brown coloring and because she is constantly in the trees chasing the birds. She is a skillful tree hunter, light hearted, and has a strong mothering instinct.
Personality: She is very light hearted and loves to help others. She has a very strong mothering instinct and used to spend much of her time helping her brother, a medicine cat, care for the queens since their clan was so large. She has a basic understanding of herbs and knows what they look like.
Flaws(a lie the character believes): The character can be too trusting sometimes.

He is a very happy, careful kit, who wants to be a medicine cat when he grows up. He is named because of his pelt but also because he went missing shortly after his birth and was discovered sleeping in a pile of moss that the apprentices had left by the nursery entrance so they could refresh the bedding later.
Personality: He is of course a very bouncy, happy kit, and gets into trouble a lot. His favorite activity is chasing the warriors tails and listening to the elders tell stories about their youth and about how PineClan was formed. He doesn't really remember his time in his mother's clan because of how young he was when the sickness broke out.
Flaws(a lie the character believes): He is too curious and very, very nosy. Thankfully not sneaky, and never will ill intentions, though.

Spottedclaw is a handsome tawny colored tom with darker ginger tabby markings. He's been described as muscular, which can seem intimidating, but his bright green eyes are always kind and thoughtful. Some of his markings are darker than the others, particularly the ones along his spine.
Personality:
Spottedclaw is often described as having his head in the clouds; he's often lost in thought, day dreaming, planning out things that may never happen. But he is smart, and insightful, even if he can be a tad forgetful. He likes to explore his territory, and doesn't like to do it alone. She believes in fighting for what is hers and won't shy away from a battle, and thinks all warriors should feel the same.

Cat Name: Stonestreak
Description: Stonestreak is a silvery-gray she-cat with a black "dorsal stripe" running directly down her back, stopping at the tip of her tail. She is a lithe shecat with short cropped fur very close to the skin. Stonestreak could be considered attractive by some tomes, though others find her bright green eyes a bit imposing. A small scar is visible on her chin, which as an apprentice she claimed she received from a mountain lion. That is not true whatsoever, she tripped, and a stick ended up scratching her, which eventually scarred.
Personality: Stonestreak can be a bit clumsy, which she supposes is endearing, while others just find it annoying. Though she seems content as a warrior, she is in truth very ambitious and wants to have more in life than just being a warrior, and eventually a queen. Bantering with her fellow warriors is one of her favorite hobbies, and makes it her goal to attempt and brighten someones day. The she-cat is slightly squeamish when it comes to fighting, but will do what it takes for her clan. Being one of the newer warriors, Stonestreak is desperate to prove her worth. At the mere age of 21 moons, she believes she can be one of the best warriors in the clan, never mind her age!
Flaw: Stonestreak can be too competitive, and when she loses she tends to go and isolate herself from the clan.

Brokenpaw is a young, Dappled she-cat with a back left leg twisted and hair-less. Brokenpaw's spots are Black, Brown, Maple, and her base-pelt is a sunset orange color. She also has muddy splotches covering her long face and her most distinct marking is a line that travels from the tip of her nose and twists around her right ear, snaking down her back onto her injured leg and splits into odd tabby stripes, covering the hair-less blotches.
Personality:
Brokenpaw is very stubborn and generally mutters under her breath when things are too hard, or complicated. She also gives up easily which is a concern however she easily regains control aftwerwards and pushes on. Brokenpaw is considered brave and loving from her motherly instincts but is forced too never mate. Suspicion arises when she falls in love with (O/A)

Brokenpaw, the only living offspring of Heather (a rouge), was caught in a avalanche as a kit. She was given to Fawnpelt once she was found, Fawnpelt is her adopted mother because of her young age when she was found (she was 4 moons) and still, to this day, believes she is Fawnpelts offspring. However her injury disabled her. Brokenpaw is unable to climb trees like others but keeps this between herself and Pinestar, forcing herself to be a medication cat apprentice.

His emerald green eyes radiate a certain sarcastic feature that he carries in speech and his overall attitude. He's not very muscular, tending to be better at sneaking and climbing than anything else, but it makes him an excellent hunter. Personality: Tallpine is cunning and sly, pointing out flaws in most things as often as he can. He finds it hard to bring himself to have a honest conversation with cats beside his sister since he was a deep feeling of insecurity, by the hides it under layers of sarcasm and fake confidence. A long scar runs from their side to the back of their front right paw, and there are many other small scars splattered across Fennelnose's body. They have a long, narrow scar on their nose.

Fennelnose is a reserved warrior who doesn't like to give out their opinion freely. They are rather patient with an air of self-importance, yet depression still taints their mind. They have grown skilled at hiding emotions due to many mistakes with their former mate. Fennelnose usually is ready to snap at cats who don't have the best manners towards them, but towards strangers, they will try their hardest to use the bare minimum of politeness. They are indifferent towards StarClan, choosing not to express extreme belief in their ancestors but never outright denying their existence. Quick to anger, Fennel is not someone you would like to get into an argument with.
Fennelnose has changed greatly from their time as a warrior. Sure, they reserved many personality aspects such as their tendency to be introverted or ill-tempered, but they have grown to show much more outward signs of depression. Despite all of this, they can still have sudden mood shifts to a joking, cheerful manner, only to grow somber moments after. Truly, they are unpredictable.
Flaws: They are a sarcastic cat, believing that cats can be far too serious and everything of intelligence goes over many of their furry heads. They aren't afraid to start a fight—depending on the topic—because no cat is right all of the time. Including Fennelnose, of course.

apathēs By putting the flaw as a lie the character believes, it enhances the backstory of the cat even if they don't have one. One of my characters, Fogkit, was left alone to fend for himself, so his flaw is that he believes that he has to take care of himself because no one else will. Try to make it something your character believes. Your character's flaw is: They are very sarcastic, and show little to no regard for how other cats feel. They are easily angered and are not afraid to start a fight, but they try to avoid arguing about trivial matters. That could be changed in the way of: Fennelnose isn't afraid to start a fight, because they believe that they, and no other cat, is right all the time. By paying little regard to how other cats feel, she is more inclined to speak her mind. The flaw doesn't have to be something they were misinformed about by another cat. It can be something they believe about themselves that turns out not to be true. The flaw is pretty much a character trait worded to mean something similar but different to the meaning in itself.

Description
Honeyfall is rather small for his age, being a mere size of a ten moon old feline. He has feminine features, as he is transgender, and has a high-pitched voice compared to other toms. His tail is long and slender, while his frame could be described as petite. Honey has small, almost stubby paws in which cause him to be clumsy at multiple points in time. His pelt is a pale ginger with darker tabby markings along the flanks and tail. White covers his snout, chest, underbelly, and front legs. There is a touch of white on his back leg, on the right. His nose is a strikingly pale pink. Honey's voice is silky and smooth as, well, honey, having a tinge of a British accent.
Personality:
Honeyfall can be described as soon as you see him: shy, but intelligent. He loves to daydream, and often times becomes lost within them. He is quite introverted, prefering shadows and quietness over groups. Although being shy and awkward, he is really rather kind and can be funny, too. Ash is rather smart, but not in battles. He will usually run around trying to find safety and bring peace instead of fighting, unless someone he loves is being threatened. He is very insecure, and can very, very easily be brought down, even if he can act like he is truly dangerous when messed with. He has a love for nature, going on walks frequently. Honey suffers from depression, anxiety and other disorders. He is all meow and no bite. Also, he will find the tiniest bits of information, even without realizing it, and find ways to see that anyone he knows could possibly hate his guts. He does not enjoy being in large patrols or battles, preferring to stay at peave or hunt alone instead of being, in his mind, ridiculed like a mouse-brain.
Flaws
Honey believes that everyone hates him. Even if he has done the nest thing that could happen to the clan, he will always think that it was wrong. That he is a failure.

Description >> (in my avatar). Lizardpaw is a classic tabby she-cat with amberish eyes, short fur, and average length tail and a white chest spot. Her fur is typically glossy and well kept, and she has a very pink nose. Her claws are short but very sharp.
Personality >> Liz is a complicated cat. She has a tough, unafraid, difficult to break exterior, but on the inside she's a mess of vulnerability, anxiety, and so much else. The only thing that never leaves her is her wit and clever tongue, her ability to persuade and mock and joke. She is sensitive to mocking but disguises how wounded she is by it, and most things make her spring back in defense, but once you finally get to know who she really is, she is good to her core, and brave, too, since she is paranoid of so many things that she often hides for her own dignity's sake. Her friends have her undying loyalty and the bonds that she does allow herself to form are hard to shake; Lizard has a good taste in friends, after all. She wants to make snappier cats happy if she can see that under the surface they are a good cat, and her insight is rather decent.
