Apathy was a tiny black cat with a mangled left ear and a scar across his right eye. This cat trodded the forest with his small white paws, forever on the move. He kept his head held straight forward as he traversed these woods with a blank stare, forever and onward, that was his motto. Apathy didn't belong anywhere in specific, he didn't have any important quest to go on, he was no cat of prophecy but a simple loner cat living up to his name, being alone was what he knew, it was all probably cause he just seemed to not care about anything. Any cat he's ever met before would probably mew about how he had no feelings, about how he probably wasn't even a cat but some weird robotic thing a Twoleg has cooked up.

(Hmm, Is it going to be weird if I use a character I actually have who's name is Veraque which means Empathy? I might just change it to Empathy, because that will be rather ironic,)

(Nice!)
Empathy was a rather sarcastic for a cat with her name, but in a joking and kind demeanor. She tended to listen to the complaints of others, and often tried to make others feel better. It did not mean however, she was completely selfless, as she put trust in others at a low standard, trust had to be earned, not given. Though other attributes she had accompanied her small and flexible frame, a good fighter, but not very strong. Quick, but again, not very strong at all, and not a master of camouflage. She had ebony fur with faded white paws, a faded white tail tip, faded white tipped ears, and the area around her eyes was also a faded white color. Though at the current time, she had been walking in the forest, not carelessly, but looking around. She wasn't a very talented hunters and often ate herbs and plants to survive off of, along with the occasionally easy catch. But as she pondered the forest, she noticed something different yet the rogue couldn't quite place a paw on it, something just didnMt smell right, as if something new was there.

Apathy was currently swiping away at a berry bush, absentmindedly placing the fruits into his open mouth. Although quite the tiny cat, Apathy ate away, shoving as many berries as he could into his tiny stomach. Not being very keen and observant with his surroundings, Empathy being nearby was unknown to him. Even if Apathy did smell this other cat, he would probably simply ignore it's presence, hoping it would move past him without causing him any grief as most cats in the area have already learned to do.

Empathy turned, and used her nose to track down her prey, or in this case, her target. Not in a harmful manner, but her goal of what she was smelling. She walked beside some berry bushes and spotted the tom eating away at some berries. She held back a sarcastic comment, deciding she should let him do what he pleases. Though she did promptly ask, "Do you know the type of berries you are eating? Or the harm they can cause?". Upon doing so, she seated herself on the floor, her rather long fur protecting her from the sun's harmful rays, as she sat patiently waiting for an awnser.

Apathy tilted his tiny head towards Empathy, finally taking notice of her. His eyes narrowed sharply gazing upon her blankly in response to her words. He proceeded to flick his tongue out before speaking towards this cat "What is it to you? I'm pretty sure I've been out here long enough to know that these berries are plenty good for eating! I mean... not that I should care what you think!". Apathy sat on his rear, blinking at Empathy all defensive like. The nerve of this cat... to come and tell him he was eating some harmful berry! After all his years out on his lonesome to think he couldn't tell the difference!

Empathy smirked, and watched, eyes careful to scan him, "Actually, Holly berry and Cherry might look the same, but both are harmful to cats. The cherry is...less harmful," she noted. She then frowned lightly, "No need to over react, it was a question, not an accusation of murder or torture." She commented blandly. "To me, it is another life, mistaking a poison for a berry means sickness and possibly even death. It would all be for a useless reason," she explained, and tipped her head. Empathy was rather young, but not kit size or anything. Just younger then most.

(Sleep well!)
Apathy felt like he has just been played the fool, letting out a long purr of frustration with this. "What are you, some kind of medicine cat from some far off clan? I've never gotten along with clans... scaring me off their territory and all that, thinking I'm stealing their prey like I'd want their lousy prey anyways." he mewed, tending to rant sometimes. Apathy always carried a blank look on his face, never smiling, never even sharing a frown. The only way you could tell emotion from the cat was when he was ranting and it could be shown through his mewing. "Oh, what can I do now, wise medicine cat?" he purred sarcastically.

(Oh hello!) "Well you can stop acting like a gentle tom!" Empathy said extremely sarcastically, and grinned. "Maybe sleep for a while, might get you in a better mood, but how could your mood honestly get better?" She asked again, her words lined with sarcasm. She then rolled her eyes and sat down, "Usually eat leafs, they are less likely to poison you, but they are more likely to choke you." She said, noticing that was a negative also. She shrugged, and watched him, "What's your name anyways? I'm Empathy." She said, waiting for a response.

"Empathy? What kind of name is that, some sort of Twoleg contraption?" Apathy mewed like he was amused by this. He blinked at her, seemingly unaffected by her sarcasm and didn't much care for her dry humor if she was trying to be humourous that is. Licking at his paws for a short while before speaking again towards the cat he glanced back up "I'm Apathy of course." Apathy purred like she already should know this.

"Okay, first off, Empathy is the act of feeling other's pain and happiness, by putting yourself in their shoes. Something you obviously can't do." Empathy noted, plainly gazing for a moment. "Second, Apathy is the act or inability to care what others feel, so how is my name ridiculous when yours is the complete opposite of it?", she questioned. "Third, the whole thing about me meeting a cat named Apathy is a bit over the top ironically." she said with a smirk. She then went silent, as her points were made.

Apathy blinked at Empathy with his eyes wide, running his teeth over with his tongue. Unamused, he stared at her not quite understanding what she was on about. "Yeah, yeah... whatever you say, I've no clue what your mewing about." Apathy extended out his jaw, yawning obnoxiously, he was obviously not the type of cat to be making to many friends or to be holding many conversations for that matter.
