Frostpaw climed a tree and sniffed. *Bird!* He stalked it and killed it he plucked out one feather. He burried it with the rest. "Three more to go, and I got the feather." He mumbled to himself.

He opened jaws and scented a kinkajou! He stalked it, pounced, and killed it with one swift bite. *one more to go* He glanced at the sun. *it was almost sun down!* Then he burried his prey with the others. He scented the air around him but he smelled nothing, desperite for prey he padded out farther from where he burried his prey, and scented a potoo. He climed up the tree it was in and killed it with one swift bite. *Done!* he carried his prey to where he burried all his prey and picked up every last bit, even the feather! He padded into camp and dropped his prey into a small pile in front of his paws, and started to look around for Dawnstar.

Moonpaw walked into camp, having finished hunting and finding the feather. Her mouth was filled with prey and the feather sticking out slightly and she walked. She raced to Dawnstar who was still waiting where they last saw her. The setting sun blinded her as she sat down so she shifted slightly to the right be in the shade. Moonpaw put her prey and feather down in front of Dawnstar.

"Well, you finished quickly." Dawnstar purred, "do you have your feather, Frostpaw." Beside her was a stick with one end covered with sticky sap.

dawnsstar dabbed the sap at the spot. then picked up the feather and placed it on the sap, which stayed in its place. then she looked at moonpaw who said "in the middle of my forehaed please." dawnstar placed her feather on her spot sercured by sap.

"now you are ready." dawnstar said, she jumped up on the ledge and called the clan for a meeting.
