Introduction -
The sound of nearby birdsong tempts you onward as you stalk silently through the overgrowth and trees, the familiarity of the leaf-covered ground under your paws filling you with confidence. You know that the forest, brimming with life, will always provide for you and your clan. Sure enough, the sound of bird grows closer and you realize that this bird is not in the trees. Eager to catch easy prey, lower yourself to the ground as you stalk closer and closer. Suddenly you notice something different here, though. You stop to take in what once was a tree that stood tall for your entire life - it has fallen. You inspect the tree and notice that while the it had seemed alive and well before, it is rotten on the inside. Your attention is brought back to the hunt at the sound of bird again however, and you realize that the bird is injured and trapped in a tangle of leaves and branches. You pull away the branches and cannot help your instinct as you mercifully kill the injured bird in a single bite. Taking the prey in your jaws, you look on toward the dead tree and thank Starclan for providing freshkill for the clan, once again appreciating how well they provided for your clan. On your way back to camp, you pass by the Elder Tree, remembering the awe you experienced when you first laid eyes on the massive oak. It is a steadfast symbol of Starclan's blessings on your clan, and you know that generations before you had looked to it just as you do now. They too learned to climb on the Skyrock, and watched the reflection of the stars on the Leafpool at night. Now they watch over you and your clan, and you feel assured in their continued guidance. Nothing would shake you as long as your ancestors guided the great Mapleclan.
Mapleclan lives in a robust oak forest, heavily populated by freshkill and flora. Their camp is near the heart of the forest, nearby a flowing river and a quiet pond.
Mapleclan values loyalty, bravery, tenacity, and upholding the warrior code.

Territory -
Mapleclan's territory is a rich forest, densely filled with large trees, wildlife, and thick overgrowth. There is much land for the cats of Mapleclan as well as other predators to hunt and hide in. To the West and Southwest of the territory sits the Thunderpath, and it isn't uncommon recently for twolegs to bring their monsters to the edge of the forest and go through the woods with their kits and dogs. West of the camp is the Training Grounds, a clearing with small rocks and moss-covered ground. The Gatheringplace sits Northeast against their territory. Landmarks within the territory are:
Camp -
Mapleclan is a hollow within the forest, abundant with bushes for dens, and lichen draped over the trees. The leader's den is made up of a ledge-like rock, where a tree grows tall on top of the stone and roots grow long over the ledge of the rock, creating a sheltered den covered by the rock and hidden from view by the roots. The leader will often rest or make announcements on the top of the rock, or climb up into the branches of the tree that grows over it. The warriors' and apprentices' dens are two collections bushes that grow close together. Similarly, the nursery and medicine den are another close collection of bushes, sitting across from the warriors' and apprentices' dens. The cats identify where the dens are separated with branches that they have built on top of each other. The elder's den is a burrow underneath a particularly lichen-covered rock that sits close by the leader's den.

- Elder Tree ;; An enormous oak tree toward the Northeast side of the territory. It has been there longer than any clan cat can remember, and so has significance with Mapleclan and Starclan. Medicine cats will visit the tree to collect herbs.
- Skyrock ;; A large boulder surrounded by smaller rocks, Southwest of Mapleclan camp. Mentors will take their apprentices here for them to practice their climbing, and cats will often relax on the rocks and sunbathe.
- Leaf Pool ;; A beautiful pond that sits far at the East end of the territory. Ducks and minnows are found in the water, and the clear water stunningly reflects the day or night sky. Ravenclan and sometimes Stoneclan fight for the claim of this landmark.
