Brindlewing padded around camp. He heard Autumnleaf yowl. "looks like she is having her kits." he meowed too his sister.
Maplefern rolled her eyes. "why do you care? Do you Liiike herrrrr?" She was being obnoxious.
Brindlewing blushed. "Noooo..... but she is pretty..."

Amberheart noticed that Ravenstep looked upset. "Hey, Ravenstep! Are you okay?" She called.
Autumnleaf cried out in pain.

Ravenstep's ears rose at the voice of Amberheart and he let out a sigh, turning to face her. "I'll be fine.. Its just that Ashstorm was giving me a hard time earlier" he tried to explain, sitting down next to her with a huff, abandoning the search for food.

Aspenfang, hearing the yowling, padded over to Brindlewing and Maplefern, joining in the conversation. "I hope she's ok." He sat down and licked his paw.

Firewind padded over to Brindlewing, Maplefern, and Aspenfang. "I'm sure she will be just fine. Shadewillow is a gifted medicine cat, and will make sure Autumnleaf and her kits survive."

Ravenstep blinked at her unexpected offer and gave her a small smile. "I would. Only if you don't mind Amberheart." He said, glancing down at the fish.

"Things seem to be going well in the clan." Aspenfang mentioned to Brindlewing and Maplefern. "Prey is plentiful, we're about to have new kits in the clan, and so far no sign of dangerous rogues."

Brindlewing nodded. He admired Amberheart. Then glanced around for Featherstar. He smelt the smell of Autumnleaf kitting.
Maplefern padded away to go get a piece of fresh kill

Autumnleaf cried out in pain as her first kit was born.
Featherstar padded toward the fresh-kill pile, picking up a small bird.
Firewind laid down to bask in the sun.
Amberheart smiled at Ravenstep.

Ravenstep relaxed a bit more at her smile and words of reassurance. Letting out a small purr of thanks, the black and white tom took a bite out of the fish, mindful of how much he had.

Brindlewing trotted to featherstar. He smiled, "it is a good day! seems like the clan is really thriving. Bet you are proud..." he felt a ting in the pit of his belly, I like this cat

Featherstar smiled softly at Brindlewing. "Indeed. StarClan is gifting us with new kits, who will eventually make fine warriors, knowing their mother. The weather is beautiful, and there has been plenty of food to go around. Things are looking very good right now."
Autumnleaf continued crying in pain as two more kits were born.

Ravenstep swallowed his mouthful before nudging it back to Amberheart so she could take a bite as well. "Thank you for sharing Amberheart. I wasn't aware how much I needed it" he said, curling his tail over his paws.
