Nice)
Breezestar looks up and nodded his head to Starlingwisp. He flicked his tail and lets out a small sigh. "Just trying to decide on a deputy."

(hey guys! i saw the new thread a bit late , so i'll repost my new reply here lol how's it goin? :3 ) faundestwishesMikel had taken a step back when the new cat had sprung forward, fur slightly bristling. It wasn't in anger or anything, more like fear and the unexpected. He feared the unexpected. Plus, he didn't know what these cats could be capable of. Though, he stilled his heart and let his fur lie flat down once again. He breathed in a calming breath and scoffed silently to himself before nodding. "U-um, yeah, sure. I don't mind. Just...just be careful." He muttered, taking a seat on the grassy earth he had found and started to clean the mud from between his toes. He continued to eye Nectarfur and his apprentice with hesitance, however. --- Cinnamon Roll(ooo i don't mind dawnwish's little crush lol. ^^ i think that's pretty cute, actually.) Leafheart smiled, bright eyes wide as she shuffled her paws again, but this time in excitement, "Really? That's great! I've always wanted to learn about herbs, ever since...well..." She hadn't really told anyone else of what had happened between herself and Donnie, Sherlock, and Mikel, and she planned on not really speaking about it, unless it was important to bring up to the clan in general. "Well, I've just always thought about learning the use of herbs, just in case. As a loner, I felt it would have been important to know." She giggled, flicking her ears in excitement. It made her happy, too, that she would be taught by a great medicine cat, as well. According to the clan, Dawnwish was really good. Leafheart glanced around and noticed the hill continuing to increase. Were they almost there? "Are the herbs around at the top, Dawnwish?" Leafheart asked, looking around at the many flowers and plants that they passed.

(I'm not sure what to do with Wispkit, really! I feel like Dawnwish is too young to take an apprentice, but if you can come up with some good character development between the two I could see it happening? We haven't really seen Wispkit in RP yet, so I haven't been able to make a good decision on her candidacy.) Leafheart smiled, bright eyes wide as she shuffled her paws again, but this time in excitement, "Really? "Yes, well, that certainly does make sense" Dawnwish conceded, still getting over the shock of Leafheart's request. She was still a bit too young to take an apprentice... but she liked the idea of teaching the warriors about the importance of herbs, especially in the interest of helping the clan. Her eartips felt hot under Leafheart's admiring glance, and she shuffled her feet, pushing onward. "Marigold doesn't like the shade or the bog, so really the only place to get it is on these tall hills in the glade" Dawnwish replied, noting with a twitch of her whiskers how Leafheart glanced intently at each flower and plant they passed. As they reached the top, Dawnwish padded forward confidently, gesturing with her paw to the swath of gold, copper, and brass flowers. "Here we are!" -------- Ivyfang chuckled. "Well, you do go by Badger." In addition to the tom's odd coloration, he was certainly grumpy enough to be one. He glanced down towards the kit who hadn't been warded off. He wasn't too sure of how she came about. He'd visited one day and had been greeted by a dark red puff ball. Well, her fur wasn't as puffy anymore, but she was still as forward as ever. At least Badger had companionship. He worried a bit for the older cat since Scarlet wouldn't be much of an asset in a fight, but hopefully things wouldn't go down that road... Badger noted with some remorse the confusion which crossed Ivyfang's face momentarily as his eyes rested on Scarlet. He remembered the first day his old apprentice had come to visit and been met with Scarlet- younger then, but with just as much energy. He had looked confused then as well, but had said nothing of the fact, only performing his usual introductions. "Look, Ivyfang" Badger began, shifting on his paws to make himself more comfortable. "You don't need to worry about us. I'm no fool and despite better evidence I'm not heartless either. Scarlet and I are fine out here- with the weather turning there's plenty of prey, and I can see Scarlet fending for herself rather well after I give her some training for a few moons. You don't need to come fret over us every few days." Badger didn't want to push Ivyfang away, but he also wanted the young cat to have a life of his own within the clan. With choosing not to mentor an apprentice of his own and coming out all of the time to visit Badger, it was easy to imagine that the young warrior still didn't quite fit in with the clan. Would he ever find a proper friend within the clan, or perhaps even a mate...? ------ Coonface wrinkled her nose at the thought of intentionally eating plants when not sick, but she didn't want to discourage Nightpaw any more than she already had. "That sounds smart, Nightpaw, but I'm not sure you'll be able to convince me to eat herbs. My dislike of them is a thorny issue" Coonface commented, her face turning up into a snickering grin. "I'm not sure what it stems from, but it seems likely I'll be stuck with it!" With that, Coonface started full on laughing- an odd combination of snorts and whines. "I dunno! Maybe I just need to branch out! Ahahaha!"

Peony turns to Coonface, expression unimpressed. "Coonface, I'm taking a lichen to you jokes." After a moment of continued deadpan she breaks out into snickers, "I moss say, they aren't the best."
Coonface certainly didn't get her humor from her father.
~~~~
Nectarfur stops his exaggerated trot forward upon seeing the other cat bristle. Right. Quick movements could be threatening.
"Yes yes. Of course." He nudges his apprentice forward until they are a foot or so away from Mikel.
Perhaps the continued distance would help comfort the cat still?
"Have you been in these parts long, Mikel? I don't think I have ever spotted you before."
"You are getting faster." Lightingstrike mewed impressed by his progress. She crouched down then leaped forward aiming to pin him down or knock him to the ground. "Not quite fast enough." It pleased him to think Lightningstrike thought he was improving. Perhaps all his dreaming of running through the woods was actually helping him in real life? No... that wasn't a thing. Dreams were dreams. Though, he had heard tales about the dark forest and the spirit cats there walking among and attacking living cats.. so perhaps there was something to say about that. However he had distracted himself with his thoughts and he feels his mentors paws crash into his side and send him sprawling into the dirt. He kicks at her belly after firming reminding himself to keep his claws to himself.
"I guess I should leaf you two to your jokes. I'm just going to root for the idea of you guys trying them, and if I seed you, I'll ask you to at least sprout your adventurous taste and tree one." Nightpaw said with a grin, even if she was a bit of a serious cat, she enjoyed joking from time to time. "Guess I'll just have to wait and seed..." she said, and let off a few laughs.
Starlingwisp nodded, "How about Mudtooth?" She asked, she had ways looked up to the tom, but she was biased, she only did that because he was her sisters mate(?). "Or maybe Ivyfang, or Peony?" She suggested, and sighed, "Or I should probably shut up, this is your decision, my apologies..." she said, and dipped her head in respect and apology.
Stormdash - 43 moons - Female - LynxLeap ✩ Stormdash is a dark grey she-cat with grey eyes, and faded black, white and silver on her fur. She is strict at times and nice at others, and has a scar over her right eye, she is not blind in the eye though. The scar runs from the midsection between the eye and ear, over the eyelid, and down to the top of the cheek. She has a blackish-grey beady nose. Her name comes from her extremely quick reactions and her ability to run quickly, she is noisy though and also isn't that strong. Though she is smart and uses trickery to her advantage. Because of her injury, she can be seen as week, and can come off as uncaring to other cats at times. Though she does try to be sweet, she is sarcastic. She is gentle at heart but can come off as grumpy. She lacks in climbing and swimming, and be easily trapped if not first escaping using speed. Her sister is Twistedpath, whom she feels bad for, a battle with a fox as young apprentices left Stormdash with her eye injury and a nicked right ear. She can be suspicious over small things as well, due to her intelligence and worries. Though Stormdash can be grumpy at time, she can also be nice and is capable of love. She has grown through after the battle to find importance others may not find. She might be quick, smart, and deceiving, but isn't strong and can be sensitive.
Lightingstrike leaped back from the kick and twitched her whiskers again. "Have you been secretly training with someone?" She asked her tone lighthearted though she was a little curious. She didn't mind if Twigpaw was seeing help from his fellow apprentices or even warriors. Long as no Dark Forest cat tries to..
Coonface was inconsolable, her belly flat on the ground as she laughed. All semblance of her downtrodden mood was replaced with her joking snorts, as usual. She hated to feel bad for more than a few moments, so this was normal for her. She was happy to be in the company of two cats who would joke around with her, rather than roll their eyes at her jokes. It felt nice. "Ah well," She meowed finally, catching her breath "I think we need to finally get to the root of this excursion and go out on a limb to find some of those birds you were talking about, Nightpaw." She took a glance over at her mother, affection evident in her eyes. She felt thankful almost every day to be the kit of such a joyful, caring queen. Not to mention, her best teacher in her uniquely honed joking skills.
"Well yeah, I mean as tradition she would probably have to change her name, but if I do recall, a Peony is a flower, and therefor she can keep Peony as her prefix...but as a sign of loyalty maybe you can have her choose her name! And she's motherly, she has been loyal even after her mate betrayed us! She is amazing!" Starlingwisp exclaimed.
Peony finally had collected herself... but of course Nightpaw joined in and Peony was gone yet again. This is what she lived for. Moments of pure bliss and happiness like this. What else could she ask for? Nothing, she thinks.
Well.
That wasn't true.
But for now, this was all she needed and she would be happy.
"Ah, yeah, we should try for those birds if you'd like to catch one."
~~~~
"Not really- I tried a bit of running for speed.. but... Well, Nectarfur tried a little bit.. but he's more for strength." His nose curls. Nectarfur could crush cats under him easily. "I think today is... just my lucky day!" Twigpaw rolls up to his paws and paddles back away from his mentor quickly.

faundestwishesMikel noticed they'd stopped before getting too close, which he was grateful for. Even if he was a bit cautious with every thing, he was also scared to hurt any other cat that got in his space. He'd think it was another fox and attack them, mercilessly. And, so far, these cats in front of him seemed interested, mildly curious, and they appeared kind and considerate. So Mikel did not want to hurt them. Though, he still didn't completely trust them. "I haven't been here long, about five or six moons I think." He answers, thinking of when Shortie left him to become a Twilightclan cat, "I usually stay up in the trees and hunt from there. I don't get down much." He flicked his ears, out of mere curiosity, "What are you doing here? Seeing if any other cat has crossed your territory? Hunting?" Cinnamon Roll"Marigold, tall grass, glade, top of hill...got it." Leafheart smiled and continued to follow Dawnwish until they reached the top. When they got to the surface of the tall hill, her eyes widened at the site of the marigold. "Oh wow, they're really pretty..." She murmured, lowering her muzzle to give the flowers a small sniff, to recognize their scent. (sorry this is so short. i'm kinda low on muse atm)

(Hawk I think Web is roleplaying Starlingwisp with Breezestar? :0 and I replied with twigpaw~)
"That is a long time to be by ones self," Nectarfur furrows his brows, it was a lonely amount of time for sure, "Oh, I suppose you may not be alone? Do you have friends who stay in the trees with you?" Mikel didn't smell of other cats, or at least none he knew. Perhaps the cats all shared the same scent now and the other cats were enjoying leisure time in the trees.
"Hunting in the trees, Mikel that is impressive!" Nectarfur grins at the thought, his laugh is not one meant to insult but one to show how he was impressed. "I fear I would break any branch I was on if I tried such a feat!"
"As for why we are out here, patrolling for strangers and doing some training. My apprentice needs to join me as a warrior some day!" he guffaws.

He knew Badger could defend himself against any nosy cat or even a lone predator, but that wasn't the main reason he was always visiting. "I don't fret." He liked a paw then passed it over his ear as he sat down on the spot. "Against what most may believe about you, I still enjoy your company over any other cat in the clan." His whiskers twitched. It was still pretty clear that the clan didn't trust him, not that he minded. He'd never cared too much about what others thought of him. Most, if not all, of his clanmates weren't very interesting either. Interacting with them was tiresome so for the most part he just sat to the outside of everything. "And I never thought you were heartless." He flicked his tail. Scarlet kept looking between the two toms. As both were larger than her, she had sat down as well to be able to tilt her head up better. It was clear they had some sort of connection and she was curious as to what it was. She'd have to bug Badger about it later to find out. She knew there was a group of cats that were much larger living a ways away. Ivyfang was part of that and.....Badger had been part of it? What made him leave? Was he forced out? Why would cats think he was heartless? Sure, he was a bit of a grump, but that could be overlooked. He did let her stay after all.

Breezestar listened and nodded his head. "Funny how the non clanborn cat ended up being more loyal than the clanborn cat." He mewed finding it ironic. There was a bit of anger and resentfulness that swelled inside of him though he did his best to push it away.

Cinnamon was right on the post in the other one, I had to leave for a bit to kind of figure things out with myself due to some personal problems. Is there anything I could do to make it up to you guys??)

(It's up to you ^^" Do you think you'll be able to stick around? We were going to make Peony deputy if you don't want Littleear to be :3
So, I don't want to overstep my boundaries, but there are twice as many females:males (24:12) and so I would suggest barring any more females being made until gender ratio is more even. However, I don't want this to discourage any new joiners, so maybe anybody new can make 1 female cat? And any others need to be male.)

((Of course! I'll be sticking around, and I think Peony would make a great deputy, so I'll just keep Littleear a warrior.
And oh, I see, I'll retract my Mothwatcher form, and that does seem like a fair idea, or for now we could just downright say 'not accepting anymore she-cats,' since it's really out of balance))

(XD , and no really it's fine, I'll save her character idea for later. I might make another tom in the meantime though.))
Littleear sat quietly, looking around at the empty camp for a moment. Everyone was out on patrols or enjoying their day in the forest, he didn't know why he was still here as he let out a heavy sigh. Awkwardly getting to his paws, the large tom made his own way out the entrance, wide shoulders brushing bushes as he looked around, everything still silent around him, save for the subtle rustling of leaves in the trees. I wonder if anyone wants me on their patrol? He wondered, feeling kind of put down at the thought that there was no one to just sit with and enjoy the day.

(Thank you! Missed you guys too) Yeah, I think it would be an interesting idea, much more than just new clan born character Littleear XD)
Unfurrowing his brows, the soot coloured tom continued walking. Might as well go hunting. He lifted the nose that adorned his smooshed muzzle into the air, smelling around until he caught a trail, likely jay by the unfamiliar but definitely bird smell. Peeking through underbrush, he finally caught sight of the brightly coloured bird, his heart leaping at what a lucky catch this would be. Getting down in a hunter's crouch, he stalked forward until he knew he was close enough that he could pull it from the air if it flew. The jay was unmoving. Littleear pounced, pinning the bird down by its wings with his large paws and- stopped. The bird was still unmoving, it's body was stiffened and unresponsive, and it looked like someone else had already bit out it's throat.
