Frostfeather followed the tom's gaze fearfully, and saw the catnip that she had worked so hard to keep intact ruined. Tested to shreds! "Who did this? Do you know?" She sniffed the air, but if there was any scent.... It would have been already stale. "That's very unfortunate." She tried to mask we anger, worry, and disappointment by lowering her head. "Now I have to find another clump, and if the clan has an epidemic"- Her voice was rushed and hurried.

After a brief, yet awkward talk with Shaleheart, Quakefur stepped out of the elders den. The black and white tom shook his pelt out and let out a sigh. "The things I do for others.." he grumbled out quietly, heading to a shaded corner of camp.

Wildmist woke up and walked out of the warrior's den. She was still confused to as of why she was so hurt by Quakefur's actions the other day. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Quakefur padding out of the elders' den. Did he really just talk to Shaleheart? She asked herself, staring at him with a puzzled look on her face.

Quakefur settled into his shady corner with another grumble,fluffing out his pelt defensively. 'Who's staring now?' He thought to himself with a frown before glancing around. Spotting Wildmist's gaze from the warriors den, the speckled tom let out a silent sigh. "What? Do I have something on my face?" He called out to her with a grumble, shifting uncomfortably in place.

Wildmist snorted in amusement. "Calm down you grumpy furball," she joked, walking over towards him. She sat down a few tail lengths away, unsure of if he wanted her company. Her blue eyes sparked with questions. "You actually talked to Shaleheart?" she asked, surprised.

Quakefur flattened his ears at the surprise in her voice and frowned "What's that suppose to mean? Of course I did. I said I would, so I did" he explained, glancing away from her before his eyes flickered back.
