[~Ghost Writer~] Meadowpaw could try to check out Nutchest' s kits.) Ivyheart felt something move in his chest as he thought about the kits that Nutchest would have. Everyone would think they were his and they would be as far as he was concwrned. He would claim them to his last breath he would claim Nutchest to.

As she set her prey in the pile Turtlepaw looked at her mentor. "Do you want me to do something else? Or can I go look for some moss?" Volepaw had lost interest in his mentor focusing on his own hunt. "You can go look for some moss," said Elmheart, though he couldn't help but wonder why she needed it. "You did good today," he added. He meant it. Hickoryfoot started climbing the tree, looking down at the ground below as she went. Shoot I did sorry.) "Okay thank you." Turtlepaw said heading off to a spot where moss grew plentifully. Volepaw caught scent of a mouse and stalked toward it.

Hickoryfoot looked down at her apprentice, frowning a little. Better luck next time, she said with encouragement inside her head. She didn't say it out loud because she didn't want to scare any new prey that was around.

She'd at least been brought back to her responsibilities as a mentor.

Hickoryfoot scented a bird in the trees up here. She wondered if she would be able to stalk it without drawing attention to herself.

"I'm okay. The clan takes such good care of me that I feel like I was still a warrior." Willowtuft purred. "I love that no one fusses that I still take care of the kits." She looked at the kits that had once been mewling scraps of fur but we're now a tumbling mass of muscle and energy.
Volepaw spotted the shrew and hurried up and pounced. He then sat back to watch his mentor hunt in the trees.

"That's good," said Elmheart, also with a purr. "You still have so much to offer the clan, so I don't see why you shouldn't continue to support the clan. The kits are growing up nicely."
Hickoryfoot scrambled after the bird, just brushing its wings as it started to take off. It was a messy kill, but she did catch it. She sneezed as a couple of feathers fell. "Got it," she said, slowly making her way down.

Will I be helping some lucky queen raise your kits anytime soon?" Willowtuft asked with a sweet grandmotherly smile. "Great catch. Should we head back to camp now?" Volepaw asked. He looked their pile of prey. Turtlepaw had picked all the debris out of her moss. She stepped into the nursery cleaning the kits nest thoroughly before dropping a fresh pile in and spreading it out. She then headed toward Willowtuft's den and did the same. She made her way over to Darkstar' s den and seen she peaked into the warriors den and found it empty. She started on the far side and used up the last of her moss. "I'm going to get more moss she called to the camp before taking all the old gross stuff out and discarding it. (Hours of work)

But if we ever do, you can be sure that you will be the first I turn to, Willowtuft." "Yes," agreed Hickoryfoot, who was now wondering which of them was the mentor and which was the apprentice. "Okay!" called Elmheart, still wondering what she was doing.

I do that with my 2nd cousin) "Okay. Ill go collect my prey." Volepaw said as he scampered off. Turtlepaw ran and collected more moss and picked everything as quickly as she could so everyomn would have fresh nests for the night.

Elmheart looked back at Turtlepaw again, eyes narrowed. He had no idea what she was doing.
Hickoryfoot started walking back in the direction of camp. Her mouth was full of prey and her steps were light. She padded back into the camp, dropping her catch on the fresh-kill pile. Then she looked back at Volepaw and said, "You did a very good job hunting today. You can get a piece of fresh-kill if you want."

Sagekit, Thymekit, and Mintkit all tumbled around the camp. Turtlepaw didn't see Elmheart and hurried into the warriors den. She pushed a ball of old moss out before heading to the last den in camp. She stepped into her own den and relished the thought of new bedding. "Thanks I'll make sure that Willowpelt and the kits have eaten before I eat." Volepaw said with a smile.

"You know you didn't have to do that. But that was so, so kind of you Turtlepaw." Hickoryfoot watched him leave, before casting a look around camp. She wondered if there was anyone she could talk to about having an apprentice. Something told her she wasn't doing it right...

Volepaw set down the rabbit and started to pad away.
The kits immediately run over and air by the rabbit but wait for Willowtuft before mowing down.

"I did I didn't care." Mango said walking away again. This time she kept walking. "Oh well please have her check you out once she is back from herb collecting. But until then what do you think they will look like and what do you think you'll name them." Ivysplash said. (He was probably the best choice because no one will want to say a word because he will argue anything they say.) "Whoa, you can't just leave." Buckheart hissed. You have to come back to camp." "Well" Nutchest whispered. "The father was a grey tabby." She purred and turned away to walk over to the medicine cat den. "I'll talk to you later."
