(It's 22:23 here, so I'd got to go to bed later. I live in Asia and we speak Mandarin(a branch of Chinese) here so that's why I make some weird English grammatical mistakes  (not saying all of us speak bad English, it's just me haha Would really appreciate it if you guys point it out and tell me how to fix it, haha.) Leopardleap nodded in agreement. "I hope not, either." But they all knew there was a gang of rogues hanging around their border. They would have to fight the rogues eventually, now or later. It's just a matter of time. |

That is really cool!! I live in Ontario Canada and can only speak English haha XD)
Lightningshadow shivered and shifted slightly so their fur brushed. She felt comforted when she was close to him and she wasn't sure why. She closed her eyes for a moment before looking ahead of them. Unsure what to do until they continued with the patrol.

Leopardleap closed his eyes as Lightningshadow drew close. He liked the she-cat a lot and hoped that she'd have felt the same. With the rogues harassing the Clan border, a storm might be awaiting to threaten the Clan's future, but Leopardleap wanted to forget about it for now; he wished to live in this moment forever, when he could stay close to Lightningshadow and felt everything was peaceful. (Oh I haven't been to Canada in my life but I wish I could visit it someday  Got to go now, would see you later at night/my tomorrow morning ) |

Lightningshadow purred and settled down on her belly as they waited. She rested her head beside her paws as she thought about these rogues. What will happen if they do come close to camp? They wouldn't be safe and there would probably be a lot of fighting going on. She felt fear go through her when she thought of the helpless kits at camp that would need to be protected. Suddenly her mind drifted to the thought of having her own kits. One of these days i will. She thought to herself happily.

(Hi!!! I'm back! And since Blaze said it's okay for us to go on without Rowanheart, we could let the patrol move towards the border ourselves?)
Leopardleap narrowed his eyes as the patrol moved on. He couldn't get the worried feelings off his mind. He was so sure that there would be danger waiting ahead them that his muscles tensed, ready to pounce on any enemy in sight.

Hey!!! Okay  )) Lightningshadow padded alone as they continued to move. She noticed how tense Leopardleap was and understood, she felt the exact same way but she wanted to make sure no one else worried. She moved up until she fell into the same strides as him, their pelts brushing together. She ran her tail gently along his back. "Its okay, calm down. We can defend ourselves if something does happen we are warriors." She whispered gently and moved away, she felt a little embarrassed to be so close to him. |

Leopardleap puffed out a breath as he felt himself relax with Lightningshadow's comforting words. "I know....I just can't get that feeling off my nerves. I am so sure something bad would happen. I don't want anyone to get hurt....." He met her gaze, gathered himself and said, "I almost wish that you would stay back in camp and be safe. I don't want you to be hurt, Lightningshadow."

Lightningshadow paused for a moment before meeting his gaze. She felt a little twinge of annoyance for him wanting her to stay back but she ignored it knowing he just wanted to make sure she was safe. "I have to make sure you don't get into trouble if we get into a battle." She teased, headbutting his shoulder playfully. She felt something stir in her stomach but didn't know what it was so she pushed it out of the way.

Rowanheart paused for a moment outside of camp as the rest of the cats gathered. His green eyes flickered to Lightningshadow, curiously but he offered a small smile in greeting as she joined the patrol. The tom looked back to Leopardleap and shook his head, "You guys are going to jinx this patrol," he meowed with a groan. He let out a deep sigh and flickered his tail, "Let's get going so we can get this border checked before sundown," Rowanheart said, giving the sky a swift glance to see what time it truly was. The large tom turned on his paws and lead the patrol of cats towards the border. He glanced around the forest, keeping his ears perked as they padded along the path. 'Hopefully, the rogues will stay away longer,' he thought although there was uneasy feeling in his gut that there would soon be conflict.

Lightningshadow felt her pelt prickle as she followed behind the cats. She was starting to feel the tension rising as they continued along, it got bad enough that the she-cat unsheathed her claws and kept her ears perked. She startled at every noise around, she was just telling Leopardleap to calm down but she now realized why he was so alert. She jumped as a bird flew from a branch overhead and she subconsciously shifted closer to the tom.

Leopardleap gently brushed Lightningshadow's back with his tail. His thought drifted back to the first time he met Claw. The fierce tom seemed to want the whole Clan gone. What made him so aggressive about StoneClan settling here? he wondered to himself. Why would he want us gone?
Snowtuft followed the patrol uneasily. She hadn't met any other rogues here, though she was one before joining the Clan. But she came from the other side of the Sky Mountain and had no idea who these cats were.

OOC: Rp: Claw lead a group of his followers along the edge of the Moon Forest. There had been a loner out there that hadn't been giving up enough prey and he expected them to pay dearly. His amber eyes scanned the forest for any threats. He wasn't going to let anyone cut him off guard. |

Lightningshadow started to think of the large rogues. Last time she had a few males had cornered her and she ended up being injured badly. "Im a little scared." She whispered into Leopardleap's ear. She knew it would make her look soft but it was the truth, the more the thought about it the more she worried. These cats where much bigger and stronger than she was and she was just realizing now that there was a good chance of them fighting now. What happened many moons ago needs to be forgotten...She told herself, closing her eyes and shivering. Those male cats were scary and she was lucky to make it out alive.

Leopardleap pressed closer to Lightningshadow, hoping to comfort her. "Don't worry. There's a good chance we'd outnumber them. After all, we're all trained." He silently counted the warriors and apprentices joining the patrol: Rowanheart, Leafshade, Snowtuft, Lightningshadow and himself, and an apprentice, Sparrowpaw. Six cats. They should be able to hold down their enemies if they ran into them.

Lightningshadow nuzzled his fur. His scent and words relaxed her only slightly. There was a chance of them outnumbering the rogues but they were shill big and strong. She let out her breath and stopped for a moment to shake her pelt before walking again. She knew she needed to protect Sparrowpaw the best she could, he was only young and didn't have as much experience.

Rowanheart picked up the pace, although he remained vigilant. Being caught off guard by rouges was not a option or a risk that Rowanheart was willing to take. He wanted to check the border as soon as possible. They needed to make sure it was secure and hopefully, before they ran into any rouges. 'I hope they stay away tonight,' he thought to himself, a frown slowly forming on his face.

Leopardleap could tell Lightningshadow wasn't fully relieved by his words. He tried to think of other things to say, but just then he caught an unwelcomed yet familiar scent in the air. "Claw." Leopardleap began to bristle as he thought of that rogue. He scanned the forest, trying to see where that tom was.

OOC: Rp: Claw held up his tail for his group as he heard pawsteps approaching the forest. Claw spat, dirty "Clan" cats on his territory again, they claimed to own the whole moors and forest, but Claw knew they were just greedy loners. He turned back to his cats and whispered, "I smell those StoneClanners, let's teach 'em a lesson. Birch and Sparrow can go on the left and me and Speckle can go on the right, we'll have them at our mercy before they can raise a claw." Speckle followed Claw to the edge of the trees and bunched up his hind quarters, getting ready to attack. Claw made his signal and jumped out of the undergrowth, onto a cream she-cat. He gripped onto her back and and attemped to tip her over. Speckle slashed out at a jet black she-cat as Sparrow attacked her white and black friend. |

Lightningshadow perked hear ears at the scent. She flexed her claws as she felt Leopardleap tense up, she moved away from him incase she was starting to bug him and fell back a little so she was behind Sparrowpaw. She was set on making sure the apprentice or her clanmates didnt get badly injured. Especially the younger cat.

Lightningshadow yelped and jumped back as she felt pain slash her side. She spun to see a she-cat facing her. She growled and leaped at her, landing on her back. She bit as hard as she could on the one shoulder. She could hear the others fighting now too.

"Get off!" Leopardleap slashed out his paws. He wanted to help Lightningshadow, but was blocked by another rogue. He tried to duck Sparrow's moves, but he was fast. He met the tom's claws with his own, eyes burning with fury.
Snowtuft was startled at the rogues' sudden appearance, and was stunned as she saw her Clanmates got attacked by them violently. She let out a hiss and pounced on the cat attacking Lightningshadow.

Lightningshadow leaped off of the she-cat and slid in the grass, her flank ached but she just shook her pelt and lunged at the cats legs.

OOC: Rp: Speckle felt the weight of the two she-cats start to cut off her breathing as she attempted to wriggle her slim frame out of the pile. She felt her vision grow black as she squeezed away from the cats and tried to take a deep breath.
Sparrow caught the tom's look of desperation as he tried to push past Sparrow to Lightningshadow. "You care about her, huh? That makes me want to make you watch the life leave her body" he scowled.
Birch swiped at a white she-cat, overhearing Sparrow's comment. Does he have to be so dark, he thought. |

"Okay, we aren't here to kill, let her flee." Ligtningshadow let out a low growl and backed off the she-cat. She twitched her ears nervously, she didn't want to kill these cats but wanted them to leave. She slashed the she-cat one more time across the cheek, hoping it would make her leave. She had her back to the others as she watched the cat closely.

Snowtuft gasped as blood gushed out of her wound. She spun to face the newcomer, and duck from his next blow.
Leopardleap growled at the rogue's words. "Well, I think you should worry over your own friend," he retorted, not seeing Snowtuft, who went for rescue, was now being attacked by Birch. "My Clanmates were capable of driving off a few untrained cats."

OOC: Rp: Speckle feebly attempted to swipe at the other cats, but staggered backwards. She weakly limped away back into the Moon Forest, feeling shame at her failure.
Birch looked at Speckle's retreat in horror, She might as well be dead, Claw will be furious when he finds out she retreated without his orders.
Sparrow snarled at Leaopardleap and jumped to the tom's side to kick him with his back legs. |
