(Hey, I think I might make a new art thread and fanfiction thread, but not make it a contest quite yet, as I want people to feel free to just post their art!)

(Hey, can we have Starlingwisp, Merlinpaw and Littleear go on a patrol as soon as possible, that way we can get Yew involved soon? I won't be very active in a few days and would like to RP as much as I can before then!)

(I think if people want to share, then they can, but I'm not terribly interested in doing any contests of the sort >.> But, that's just me. If others want to bring it back, I can't really say no. But I wouldn't make threads if we're not going to use them. I don't think I'll be doing any writing for a while since the roleplay just got remade. I'd rather just enjoy it than anything else. I don't see why we'd need a new discussion thread, but do what you want

(Are the old Art and Story threads not up any more? If so,yes let's make a new one, but if not then I think the old ones will be just as good.)
Badger huffed forward, just catching the sight of Ivyfang leaping to the air to snag the bird. He really was a fantastically skilled cat-like very precise in his movements. The old rogue felt a surge of pride for the young warrior, his old apprentice. He had always felt that Ivyfang was like the kits he never had, although the connection remained unspoken between them. Such words would be awkward in exchange. This quiet trend of running and hunting together, throwing jabs at one another, seemed to be enough.
"Nice catch" Badger meowed, padding up to Ivyfang. "Wish my legs still carried me that high. Must be all the fur weighing me down" he joked, noddig appreciatively at the younger cat.
-----
Coonface nodded at her mother. She didn't want to get in the way of the two of them training together- she'd be more of a distraction to them than anything. Moving northward ahead of them, she padded off in the direction of the dreadwash. Perhaps there would be a gathering of blackbirds there today, scavenging for frogs and other small pickings in the bog.
Pricing her ears, she stopped and listened around. Coonface was never nervous in the forest, but she was vigilant. Every cat knew that Twilightclan territory was full of rogues and loners, and some were friendlier than others. It benefited a cat to be wary.
She hunted for a time, settling for a frog and a vole after being unable to snag a blackbirds, and began her trot after her mother. Perhaps by now Nightpaw and her would be ready to move on.
(I've got Cloudpaw freed up, if anyone wants to start a RP with them. Let me know!!)

Oh no! very tempted to steal one of the kits if they survive, though. Kits are always fun. And playing multiple characters is good for muse.

Yew then grinned as she approached the camp, picking a pebble up in her paw and throwing it aimlessly, though it hit near Merlinpaw and she gave a small snicker. Perhaps this could be fun! She wanted to see how loyal the tom was, but she thought he would just run off and whine, she expected that out of most cats. She had bad trust in the clan cats after all.

Merlinpaw whirled around, his startlingly bright eyes scanning the surroundings for what had made the sound. Nothing. He could see nothing. "Well that's unusual," he murmured to himself without moving, staying frozen as he searched for any intruder. A strange scent met his nose - harsh, wild and not at all familiar⦠and, there! A flash of a red coat. "Littleear!" he hissed, trying to keep his voice low. "Starlingwish, anyone." he murmured, for his first instinct was to warn the Clan. And yet⦠he was curious. Curious enough to explore, almost. Almost.

Yew snickered, and ran past the trees again, another rock heading for Merlinpaw, this time hitting him. She then climbed up a tree, leaving herself visible to him, and smiled, her eyes a dazzling every green color staring down at him in amusement. She mouthed the words, "Come on scaredy cat" and took off grinned waiting.

Merlinpaw hissed and gave chase, paying no heed to how far behind he was leaving the camp and the patrol he was meant to be joining. He gained on the lithe ginger cat, his superior height giving him a slight advantage. He didn't slow but used his momentum to spring at her, intending to pin her to the ground. The dark apprentice realized with a shock that she wasn't a lot older than he was, she still had the wide eyes and slightly ruffled fur of an apprentice-age cat.

Leafheart strolled into camp, a plump mouse in her jaws. Her dark brown tabby fur was damp with the swamp's water, her paws covered in sludge. She'd chased the mouse down, even causing her to accidentally fall into the overflowing water of the swamp. But, she'd caught the little pest, and now her clan would have one more mouth to feed. She was happy to finally call Twilightclan her clan. She was happy to be apart of it, and she was sure Sherlock would be proud. He'd wanted this, hadn't he? To be free, to be apart of something bigger than just the kittypet life? Leafheart moved towards the freshkill pile and dropped off the mouse, sighing in relief as she stretched out her claws. She tried to shake out her pelt of the dampness, but she still felt soaked. So, she began to clean her pelt, her tongue sliding along her paw, and then rubbing her paw along her muzzle, ears, nose, everything. Ugh, she felt so...smelly. She wondered how Mikel was doing, since she had left? Well, he could have joined her. He could have joined Twilightclan too. But, he thought it was betraying her brother's trust, leaving what they had behind. No, she thought. He'd want us to be a part of something bigger. And being a part of a clan was way bigger than strolling through the forest without a care. However, her stomach still clenched up at the idea of Mikel all alone out there, in the forest beyond them. She wished she could see him.
Mikel was lying along a branch of a tree, front legs dangling off as his tail swished this way and that in the air below him, eyes closed as he tried to relax. Sometimes it was hard. When he closed his eyes, he would just see Donovan and Sherlock's wounds, blood spotted grass, and the snapping jaws of a fox. Sometimes, he had them as nightmares, and he'd always wake up nearly falling out of the tree. He'd rethought his idea of being lazy on the tree branch a lot, but then he ignored it. He was better off up here than down there half the time, anyway. He liked to move through the forest along the tree's branches, though he came down to stretch his paws and hunt. Now would be a great time to get down and stretch his claws out again... With a yawn, Mikel slowly crawled over to the center of the tree, making his way down. Once he got to the ground, he stretched his paws out in front of him and huffed in slight exhaustion. He never really slept much anymore. Wasn't his fault, though.

Lightingstrike notices Twigpaw and moves towards him. "Ready to train?" She asked flicking her tail. Lightingstrike could be harsh on Twigpaw and she knew it was affecting him. The young she-cat didn't really know what else to do. Didn't help that Scarletpool trained her when she was younger and sometimes they would talk. It was wrong but Scarletpool wasn't like the other dark forest cats least to her.

(Oh, and you havent responded with Ottersplash to Web )
Seeing as Coonface was going to give her alone time with her apprentice, Peony turns back to Nightpaw and encouragingly nudges her up, "Since you know the proper techniques, now it's time to see it in action." She bounds a few paces forward and then turns to beckon her apprentice forward, "Remember, quiet and light on your paws, Nightpaw"

"Then it's best not to bring him along. Though, you two shouldn't fight." He chides softly, "Well... let's go see if the two would be willing to do that with us, how about that?" He looks up and spots the lithe she-cat talking to her surly apprentice. At times he wondered if it was really... the best match. He'd seen a hissing match started at least once. "Let's head over."
"I'm ready." Twigpaw scuffs his paws against the ground and keeps his gaze low, at least the she-cat seemed like she was in a good mood today. That could help. Less bumping heads, maybe. He finally looks up and pauses, "Oh. Nectarfur..?"
"Lightningstrike!" The jolly tom rumbles, "And Twigpaw! All in one place, good, good. Were you going to head out for training?"

Yew grinned, and turned sharply right, leaving a tree for Merlinpaw to possibly run into. She was actually a little younger then him, but not by any time at all really. She saw him, also small and ruffled. She laughed, and climbed up another tree, "Catch me if you can!" She yelled out.

(Just something to keep in mind, if you do have Sagestreak die in labor, keep the number of kits low. Unless we get another queen, Juniperfrost is the one who has to nurse them and i wouldnt want her to have to deal with anything over 5 kits...but outside of that, it's entirely up to you.
Im on mobile so ill respond with Ivyfang tomorrow ^^")

Scarletpool | Unknown | She-cat | Dark Forest | Hawkeyes2581 Pale ginger she-cat with white paws and underbelly. She has cold green eyes and quite a few scars. Scarletpool is sadistic, mean and cold. She has a twisted sense of humor and has been known to be quite selfish. Scarletpool has no problems killing or torturing a cat for her own amusement. Scarletpool is crazy though she will try and deny it. When she had been alive, Scarletpool kept her viscous tendencies to herself and pretended to be a good little warrior. Things changed when certain clanmates and even loners were found dead in the forest. Eventually, she was found out and killed during a confrontation. She played a role in the battle though she wasn't killed like the others. Her plans for Lightingstrike is unknown but she wants to turn her into a killing machine.
(Hope this is okay)

(Will add in a bit, but accepted !)
Littleear blinked, and in a moment his apprentice was gone. The deputy had just walked a few steps away from Merlinpaw to ask around for someone to join the patrol, when he heard the rush of movement and the young tom scamper out of camp after something. Suspicious, he cast a worried glance at Starlingwish and hurried after him, breaking through the camp entrance and into the forest, trying to follow his scent trail while calling out to him, noticing another scent mixed with the apprentice's.
"Merlinpaw! Merlinpaw!?"

(Thats fine with me @winterlynx . I might take one of the kits too! I always liked Sagestreak :> )
Cloudpaw stretched out, her fluffy face gaping open with a wide yawn. Casually, she sat up out of her nest scratching behind her ear. Sun filtered in through the roof of the apprentice's den, and she wondered sleepily what time it was. Ottersplash had pushed her pretty hard the days previous in training, and she was grateful that her mentor had let her rest.
Padding out of the apprentices den, she looked around camp. All seemed quiet and peaceful, which was nice. Deciding she might get a head start on the day's work, she padded over to the nursery, poking her head into the warm den "Hello? Juniperfrost? Sagestreak?" she mewed gently, sniffing around. Sometimes the queens were open to apprentices coming to tend to them and sometimes they weren't. They're so temperamental! she had complained, last time they had shooed her out for bringing in moss that was slightly too wet. Ottersplash had reminded her that she would understand someday that a belly full of kits could make a she-cat a little on edge, but she had simply scoffed. Why would anyone want to have kits anyway?

Merlinpaw skidded to avoid the tree and halted, catching the briefest flash of ginger fur in his peripheral vision as he scanned the forest for any sign of the rogue. There! He whirled and hared off after the other cat, sliding to a halt beneath a tall oak tree and staring up at the ginger rogue, wide-eyed. It struck him again how young she was, how small and yet so much quicker than he was. A glint of steel showed in the tom's eyes and his muscles bunched, preparing for action. One breath, two, three - and then he leapt. One massive spring, propelling himself as high up the trunk of the oak as he could manage before continuing to scale the trunk of the oak like an oversized squirrel. Finally, he found himself on a wide branch nearly level with the small ginger she-cat, yet he didn't think he had the upper hand at all. Far from it, he thought as he struggled inwardly to keep his balance. "Who are you, and what in the name of StarClan are you doing on our territory?" he hissed, his hackles rising with his temper.
Ravenpaw's tail and whiskers drooped. "Oh, I knowβ¦" she murmured, padding after her mentor, Twigpaw and Lightningstrike as she ruminated on her complex relationship with her big brother. He was so much better than her at everything - the perfect warrior apprentice; strong and fast and agile with just a touch of an attitude that would serve him well when he graduated to become a full warrior. Whereas she, Ravenpaw - she'd been apprenticed late, she was sick and weak all the time and so clumsy it was a wonder she hadn't been killed by falling out of a tree yet. It was hard to live in Merlinpaw's shadow, all she could really do was stick up for herself and try to be her own cat instead of everyone's burden. They shouldn't fight? Fighting was all Ravenpaw had going for her. Perhaps Ravenpaw's gloomy mood was affecting the world around her, for she promptly slipped on an inconvenient maple leaf and landed on her backside with a squeak of surprise, glaring at the offending leaf as she took a few deep breaths to calm herself and clear her black temper. "Oops. My lucky day. Should we get going, now I've finished tripping over things?" she asked, looking up at her mentor and the other two cats with a sheepish little smile on her face.

"Oh, Nightpaw doesn't talk about me?" Yew asked sarcastically, her long claws slid out to keep her on the tree. "I'm Nightpaw's sister, I think I saw you once when I was a kit, before I left..." she added, and grinned, "But after you little clan pulled that stunt of turning their backs on each other, on my sister Shadestar, I decided to stick around, but watch you all, I can't let you all turn your backs on Nightpaw, now can I?" The she-cat muttered, a bite in her words at the mention of betraying Shadestar, and she had no reason to hide the information. "I mean, go ahead and attack me, but I'm telling you that be careful what you do, I'll only hurt you if you hurt my sister or I, mmmkay?" She asked, looking cassully around, but keeping a watchful eye on the tom.

Starlingwisp took off after Littleear, falling behind because of her limp though, but went as quickly as she could. "There!" She pointed out, spotting a bit of fur laying on the floor, it was a red-orange color, and she frowned, "It has rogue scent, he might have went after a nearby rogue!" She called out to the deputy.

Littleear frowned, flattening his ears in worry, bending down to sniff the russet scrap of fur. "He's an apprentice, he can't handle a rogue by himself!" He bunched his muscles, taking off again, adrenaline bursting in his chest with a burning sensation. Branches scraped his side as he ran past bushes and narrowly avoided trees, hard on Merlinpaw's trail. Until it abruptly stopped at the base of a large oak tree, leaving the deputy craning his neck beck to see the young tom and an unidentifiable cat balanced on the same branch.
"Merlinpaw! Get down from there!!"

Merlinpaw froze, unsure of what to do. He hissed at Yew, flattening his ears as he glared at her. "That's your story, it's not the only side. Leave TwilightClan alone." he spat, refusing to give ground even though he wanted so badly to obey his mentor. Cautiously, he let his gaze flicker to Littleear. "She's not even warrior age and she says she knows our Clan. Nightpaw's sister." he relayed to his mentor, wondering what on earth he could do in this confusing situation. There wasn't a lot of point in climbing down the tree unless he wanted to look cowardly, but he didn't really want to claw this cat's fur off either.
