Otterface took a small bite of the mouse and shook his head. "I've been pretty good. A bit bored, but good." He sighed deeply. "I just get tired of doing the same things all the time; go hunting, mark borders, eat, sleep, repeat. I just want to do something new and exciting, y'know?" He looked at Lilacblossom with ambition burning in his eyes. However, he soon realized he had gone on a tangent and lowered his head a bit. "Sorry, I should've just stayed quiet... I made things awkward, didn't I?" He laughed a bit before taking another quick, small bite of the mouse.

Lilacblossom shrugged. "I never had any of the ambition other cats had. I just wanted to be important to the Clan, to help save lives of cats that deserved to live. I thought it was the best thing in the world to be able to talk to StarClan..." Her gaze became a distant stare for a moment.

Lilacblossom blushed. "It's not all fun and games. When you speak to StarClan, it's only if you need dire information about something or a prophecy. Otherwise, it's just for advice from your medicine cat mentors." She bent down to lick her chest fur. "My mentor is especially great."

Lilacblossom smiled. This was a topic she was enthusiastic about! "My mentor is the StarClan cat who will give me advice on herbs. Her name is Swallowtail. She is very kind and likes to teach me just what I need to know!" She paused for a breath. "Swallowtail is who I talk to when I go to Starkstone and everything is normal at camp."

Lilacblossom's head spun. "Yes and no questions first. Yes, No, Yes. Mentors are from the cat's clan. They are often former mentors from real life. Most of the time they are medicine cats from generations long gone."
