Lialcblossom was aware of the apprentice trailing her. She was just in time to hear Owlmoon praise Shimmerpaw. Making herself known, Lilacblossom lightly bumped Owlmoon out of the way. "Yes! Shimmerpaw was very helpful today!" She met his eyes, asking a silent question. "You know, she would make a great medicine cat apprentice..."

Applefeather's fur was covered in dirt and mud. She couldn't believed she'd slipped and fallen into a mud pit, especially after warning herself of their presence. She couldn't go back to camp in this state! Cats would ask her what happened and think she was such a mousebrain! She headed to the stream to wash off, shuddering in the disgusting mud.

Applefeather froze at the voice. She turned around after a moment, catching sight of Spiderfang. She gave a final shake of her body to try to rid herself of mud, but the mud stuck like burrs.
