Swanfeather tumbled out of her nest. "Ow!" She looked up to see all nests had cleared except hers and Willowfoot's, who had a sleeping cat in it. She quickly made her way over to Willowfoot, nudging the cat. "Wake up! We're late for patrols already!"

Swanfeather tumbled out of her nest. "Ow!" She looked up to see all nests had cleared except hers and Willowfoot's, who had a sleeping cat in it. She quickly made her way over to Willowfoot, nudging the cat. "Wake up! We're late for patrols already!"
- Owlmoon "What if I don't want to goooo?" groaned Willowfoot, sleepily. "What if I wanna sleeeep." Her voice was hazy with tiredness and her eyes were tight shut to block out the light. She curled herself tighter into a ball and flicked her tail at Swanfeather. "Gooo away. I wanna sleep." |

Swanfeather bristled. "Do you want to be known as the slacker?" She had done a good deed, and she wasn't going to let another cat be too lazy!

Swanfeather snorted. "Very funny, Willowfoot. But seriously, I don't want to get in trouble." She padded towards the entrance of the den before sheepishly looking back. "You coming?"

- Owlmoon (Who has the deputy? If anyone...) Willowfoot padded along after the other warrior, the fact that she seemed a little smug not escaping her attention. The other warrior also scanned the clearing, looking for whatever patrol she was supposed to join. |

Owlstar scanned the clearing thoughtfully. "Let all cats old enough to fly gather here for a Clan meeting!" Her yowl cut across the sky. It was time to name a deputy.
Swanfeather's eyes widened. "I forgot that we didn't have a deputy! Owlstar must be announcing the new one today!" She bounded over to the rock, sitting down quietly and tilting her head towards her leader. Gesturing with her tail, she looked at Willowfoot to sit down.

Sunskip padded out of the medicine den, stretching his toes with a yawn as he rose for the morning. He quickly padded over to the center of camp, sitting down with his tail tied neatly over his paws.
Hickoryleap prodded Milkwhisker until his copper eyes opened with an edge to them. "What is it?" The elder grumbled, his back popping as he stood up.
"We're having a clan meeting. Come on, you lump of fur." She purred in reply, nudging him out of the den.
Krestletail rose and sat by her mother, on the opposite side of Milkwhisker, knowing he had no words except bitter ones for her. She gazed up at her leader loyally, interested to see who her choice would be. She was oblivious to the fact that her daughter was nowhere in sight.

Owlstar was pleased to see the Clan gathering swiftly. It was nice to see all of her warriors, just to know how strong her Clan was. They had all the support they needed. Her gaze rested on Seedflame. I hope I've chosen the right cat for the job.

- Owlmoon Willowfoot padded after the she-cat, looking around for her brother as well. He wasn't sitting to far off and was looking up at the leader with almost...hungry eye. Willowfoot turned her face away, frowning a little. What was that about? |

Swanfeather swished her tail, waiting for Owlstar to announce the deputy. Her excitement was growing, though she didn't expect to be named deputy herself. Patience was wearing thin among the crowd.
Owlstar bit the inside of her cheek, nervous and waiting. Her cats gazed eagerly up at her and she wanted to desperately please them, but also felt that she needed to make the best choice for them. She almost felt like a stranger, standing there in front of a crowd of cats with no one that she could call family. No--they were her family.

Hellooooo! I know this has been really inactive lately, but I'm here to get this back on track! It is a brand-new day peeps!~
Owlstar woke up really early. The Clan was still quiet. Getting to her paws, she shook out her fur.
Swanfeather stretched under the bright morning rays. Glancing around the den, she realized that no one else seemed to be awake! Ignoring the fact, she walked outside of the den and was greeted by...nothing.
