Icetail honestly did mean it. He didn’t say things he didn’t think were true. He was a speaker of the truth, he wasn’t one for lies. Sometimes he wouldn’t say the whole truth, but he would not deliberately lie. Nettlemask would make a good omen-teller, but only once Icetail was gone and had spent his nine lives to his Clan as Iceteller. It was safe to say that Icetail had his reign as omen-teller all planned out. Get rid of Honeyteller, name all three of his elites at once, and lead GroundClan as it should be. He would serve his Clan well until the end of his days. After a moment the white tomcat turned in his nest. He wanted to get out and stretch his paws, but he knew he couldn’t go out and just do things. He would like to go and stretch out his legs by taking a nice walk through the territory, perhaps take Nettlemask with him and talk more about Icetail’s ideas for the Clan. But yet, here he was, stuck in the healers’ den because of some dumb fox.

All the ginger tabby could do right now was stare out across the river. His amber eyes searched around frantically before he turned and began walking downriver, alert for any signs of his daughter or even just the other three tenderpaws that had gone with her. Their scents were around the area and certainly from earlier today. Cherrystorm realized why they were fresh scents yet still hard to detect. ”Fox-dung,” the tom spat. He lashed his tail in anger. ”They’ve crossed the river it seems.” In that moment he remembered that, not too far from this area, there was a little verge in the river where a wading stream made its way across the terrain. Had they crossed down there or had they actually pushed on to dare the river? Just that thought alone made Cherrystorm bristle. He began to run down the bank, calling out for his daughter. ”Sagepaw? Sagepaw!” If she had crossed the river surely she had made it, right? But what if...what if she hadn’t? What if she was floating away down the river, limp and lifeless? What if he never got to see his daughter ever again? Cherrystorm closed his eyes and took in a shuddering breath. He didn’t want to dare think about that. |

"That's great," Breezepaw nodded with a smile, clearing up the space he used and getting on his hind legs. "If you need anything, just tell me." The tenderpaw padded out of the healers' den feeling a sense of accomplishment. He was glad that Icetail was sincerely keen on healing up quickly to continue his duties. With all the trouble going on lately, it's good to have Icetail's tenacity.
Stopping at the stream and placing his paws in, he gave himself a thorough wash. It had been a long day, and as passionate as Breezepaw was about his training and helping his clan, he wasn't immune to the sense of tiredness that seemed to cling onto his pelt. Stifling a yawn, he returned to the healers' den to wait for his mentor's debrief before calling it a day.

[[ Hey guys it's Falle. I really don't have much of an excuse for my sudden disappearance. Things have just been kinda busy for me and I sort of lost interest in the forums for a little while there. I feel bad for not mentioning anything at all, but I just couldn't really get myself to actually do it. Like, I'd think I'd be able to come back or at least mention why I was gone but I just didn't. Well I'm finally here again after so long. For all the years I've been on the forums, even if I get tired of it I always somehow wind back on just like now lol Anyways I'm slowly coming back and I want to get back into roleplaying again.
