HoneyMintHoneyMint calmly walked up to GalaxyFur and said "This is my old clan mate and best friend HopPaw." She mewed coldly "if you have a problem with him just say it." she said glaring at GalaxyFur
"I have a problem with strangers entering our territory!" she spat at Honeymint, "Especially when they're appearing right after another stranger joins the clan!" Galaxyfur whipped around and bounded towards camp, growling that the two cats should follow her. She burst through the tunnel, looking around wildly for Hollowstar, and ran over as soon as she spotted him. "Hollowstar, another cat appeared when me and Honeymint were out collecting materials!" she gestured towards the camp entrance. ( broken) |

HopPaw gritted his teeth he didn't know it was their territory! he did scent a strange sent earlier but he didn't know it was theirs! "Hey I didn't know it was your territory!" he yowled defensively "And you shouldn't be mad at HoneyPaw for it either its not like we planned it!" He said with a growl

(Sure Mint, I could :3 I have Moss, Brokenpaw, leader or med cat.) (I can have Hickory talk to a med cat then.  Hickoryfoot's scratches were starting to itch and she finally gave into the urge to go talk to Rainflight. She stood, beginning to walk for the medicine cat's den. Every now and again, she'd nibble at a scratch on her shoulder or paw. Walking up to the entrance, she stuck her head inside and asked. "Um, Rainflight? Are you busy?" Because I can go if you need me to, she mentally added. |

Rainflight had been organizing the den that was now a little messy from all the work he and his apprentice had been doing. He set down a pile of herbs as the warrior walked in. "Hickoryfoot, hi!" He greeted with a slight grin. "Oh um just a little busy. But what is it you needed? Is something wrong?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

SparrowMistpaw looked really guilty, but she was also really hungry. Her eyes darted to look at Dayscar one more time before she bit into the mouse. "Thank you!" she said, eyes showing her appreciation. Her ear twitched at the suggestion that she go on a hunting patrol and her fur puffed up. She liked the idea and didn't mind at all. "Yeah! Sure!" Each of her statements seemed unable to end in anything other than an exclamation point. After another minute or so she finished the mouse.

Tesla snorted as the cats ran off. More border nonsense. No one respected borders except clan cats, and as there were no other clans bordering Timeclan, Tesla found the whole idea pointless. The tom could tell the cats were heading for the camp, so he turned around and climbed back the way he'd come.

Dayscar just smiled encouragingly as Mistpaw ate. Once the apprentice was done, she stood and waved her tail for Mistpaw to follow. "I'd say your mentor's had time to rest up."
She padded over to Mosswing, "Mosswing, If you're feeling capable, we're going on a hunting patrol."
However, her attention whirled around as Galaxyfur returned suddenly with the stranger and another cat in tow, this one a tom. Honeymint must be the she-cat, she realized. They hadn't had time for a naming ceremony... Were these cats from a clan? Dayscar's tail lashed as her temper spiked.
"Give me a moment." Dayscar muttered to Mosswing and Mistpaw before striding toward the strangers, Galaxyfur and Hollowstar.
Her fur bristled to intimidating size and she let out a long hiss as she approached, raking over the strangers with a steely glare, "Planned or not, you are trespassing."

Mistpaw stood there, feeling slightly like the ground had been pulled out from under her. She was confused and eyed the new cats with both curiosity and a touch of hostility.

"Nothing to big," said Hickoryfoot, shrugging her shoulders. "I just fell in a bush when the fox attacked us and got scratched up. And uh, they are really starting to itch." She tried not to nibble at her shoulder fur again, but her slight twitch showed that she wanted to. "There wouldn't happen to be anything you could do, is there?" |

mintedstar/fur Sparrow Fern Mosswing blinked, looking up and giving the deputy a nod. "Yes of course, I'll join you guys in a hunting patrol," she she-cat melted, walks over towards her apprentice's side, but watched as the deputy approached the strangers. Hollowstar peeked his ears, sitting not too far away from the enterance to camp. He padded over towards the gathering group. "Dayscar, I gave permission for this cat, Honeymint to help Galaxyfur with the camp, since she wanted to. However, I'm not sure who her friend is..." he trailed off, glaring over at Hoppaw. "Why are you here?" -- Mint Rainflight approached Hickoryfoot as she spoke, examining the scratches along her pelt. "Itching you say?" He echoed, but after a second he nodded and bounded back towards the herb store. He appeared a moment later chewing up a dock leaf before licking it onto her pelt. He began meowing between licks, "this should help soothe the itching." He sat back and blinked a few times. "But try your best not to itch the herb off, okay?"

HopPaw looked at HollowStar and said "I scented a strange scent when i crossed the boarder. It didn't cross my mind that there was another clan other than HoneyPaw's and my old clan I ran into HoneyPaw thinking she was dead then we where threatened by that she cat over there" he said gesturing over to GalaxyFur "and she forced us to come here." He finished with an irritated look at GalaxyFur.

Dayscar flicked an ear in acknowledgement of Hollowstar, but her hackles raised higher at hearing Hoppaw's defensive response to the leader.
Her voice started low and became sharper and more intense as she reprimanded, "If you were really part of a clan before, you'd understand the problem with strangers entering your territory. Galaxyfur was courteous in bringing you to camp instead of chasing you right off the territory!"
Dayscar shot Honeymint a dirty look and continued in a scathing tone, "The same goes for you. Whether or not this tom is your friend, you are a guest in our territory and can't demand us to trust the safety of our clan on the word of a stranger."

Hollowstar listened to the exchange, his eyes still locked on the strangers. His tail flicked back and forth and his fur stood on end slightly. "I understand what you are saying about you and your friend, however you must realize that Galaxyfur must have thought you were a threat," he melwed carefully, thinking out what he was going to say. "And honestly, I'm beginning to think it was foolish of me to accept your offer."
The tom glanced at the she-cat. "Honeymint, tell me the truth. Are you two the only ones from this Clan hanging around our territory?" He paused for a moment, considering. "And what happened to your old Clan, and what made you decide to come here?"

HopPaw opened his mouth to argue but HoneyMint brushed her tail over her friends mouth "Im sorry about the inconvenience we've caused but i had no idea that HopPaw was here and I'm sure he didn't mean to trust pass but i came here to help not to make it worse. I've already told you what happened to my clan and I don't know where my other clan mates are so if you want we can leave or we can stay as a member of this clan. I don't want you to see us as aggressive rouges or helpless kits" she mewed calmly and turning to GalaxyFur she mewed "and I'm sorry I got mad at you" she mewed blinking apologetically at the she cat

Dayscar slowly sat down on her haunches as Honeymint apologized, her fur starting to lay down, but her expression was still dark and distrustful. Her claws dug into the ground. She stayed silent, deferring the decision to Hollowstar. She still didn't like these strangers, particularly Hoppaw, but Honeymint had offered to help earlier and she'd stand by whatever judgement Hollowstar made.

While what the two strangers said made sense, it was still a decision for both him and his deputy to make. Hollowstar stared at them for a little bit, then dipped his head slightly, flicking his tail towards his den. "Galaxyfur, if you wouldn't mind watching these two while I talk with Dayscar?" He could probably guess what the deputy was thinking, but it was better to talk things out. "We'll get back to you after we speak." He glanced at Dayscar. "Is what alright?"

Dayscar nodded thankfully to Hollowstar, "Yes."
The she-cat veered in the direction of Mosswing and Mistpaw and meowed, "This may take a few minutes to sort out. You may go hunt now if you'd rather not wait."
Then she padded briskly after Hollowstar into the leader's den.
[sorry for the poofing, I keep getting whisked off to family gatherings.]

broken"Alright," said Hickoryfoot, nodding her head. She tried her best not to scratch her side, even as she agreed. The herbs, cool against her fur, did make things feel a little better. It was great to think that her scratches would stop itching soon, but between now and then she had to make sure that she didn't ruin Rainflight's work. She hesitated a little as she added, wanting to thank the medicine cat, "Is there anything you need help with?"

Galaxyfur dipped her head as Hollowstar and Dayscar padded away. While Honeymints explanation and apology had calmed her slightly, she was in no mood to be polite, so she simply sat down and trained her eyes on the two cats.

The tom paused for a moment before continuing, "because these are outsiders from another Clan who have come here. After you speak, I'll tell you what I think." -- mintedstar/furThe medicine cat paused for a moment before sitting down with a sigh. "Thank you, and yes I actually do need a bit of help. If you haven't noticed, the den is a bit of a mess with me going through herbs and such as we stalk up for the leafbare," he meowed. There were small piles of herbs here and there around the den, and some older ones that need to be taken out by the enterance. "If you don't have anything to do, perhaps you'd like to join me for collecting a few more things outside of camp."

broken"I can do that," said Hickoryfoot, dipping her head. "Where do we start?" Her head turned as she looked around the den, wondering if he wanted her to help straighten up when they got back. She was pretty sure she could do that... A scratch on her side itched a little, but not as bad. She had to stop herself from scratching, though one hind leg lifted halfway off the floor before she remembered.

They had no respect for Galaxyfur's caution and we've never heard of their clan, I can't help but doubt the legitimacy of its existence. They could have heard of clans and our naming conventions from literally any rogue who's come in contact with us or the original four clans. I want to chase them out and save us the trouble of getting clawed in the back." Dayscar took a deep breath to calm herself and flattened her fur apologetically, "However, I... suppose... if they were telling the truth, and they've lost their clan... it would be natural for them to try an fall back into the familiarity our clan would offer. And... honestly, we're stretched a bit thin right now, so we could use the help." Dayscar looked down and muttered in conclusion, "...I just don't don't want to get our good faith thrown back in our face." |

The tom paused for a second as he thought of a decision, one that might affect the whole clan. "We've allowed Specter into the clan with no problem because he showed great gratitude in saving a warrior. What would you say about allowing them to stay for a few days. We'd have a warrior watching over them at all times, just to be safe. After a few days, I will call a meeting and decide. Does that sound fair?" |

Specter had been welcomed with close to no qualms after only a day. Dayscar felt herself defensively think that this was because Specter cared enough about the Clan to put her life on the line. Twice. Dayscar blinked in surprise at Hollowstar's suggestion. A trial run. Hm... that would give them a better idea of where these cats' loyalties lay. "Yes, very, thank you, Hollowstar." Dayscar dipped her head respectfully, "Did you have any warriors in mind?" Dayscar pondered it herself. Probably not anyone mentoring. As good as it would be for the newcomers, Dayscar wouldn't give a warrior two charges to keep an eye on all day. Galaxyfur would be a good choice, given her skeptic feelings about strangers and her involvement with the issue, but Dayscar wasn't sure she'd appreciate the burden. But then, who would? |
