Welcome to paradise
Hello and welcome to the beautiful island nation of PelagicClan, a Clan set away in paradise. On this island found just off the outskirts of the Hawaiian islands in the United States lies a group of cats with very mellow lifestyles. The cats of PelagicClan are known very well for their rituals involving the eruption of the volcano. Each cat in the Clan from their apprenticeship on also receives a special flower and color that fits their personality. Come along into the depths of PelagicClan and experience your own taste of paradise.

PelagicClan cats live in a quite unusual camp. Picture a steep hill covered by green grass and dotted by colorful flowers. Now imagine dens being carved into the side of this hill in the form of large burrows with tunnels connecting them internally and kept hidden from the eyes of predators by bushes, logs, and moss. Starting near the bottom of the hill is a thick patch of bramble bushes with a hollow log running through the center. This serves as the camp's entrance and is always guarded with a warrior at post. Sparse bramble thickets strengthened with sticks and small logs create a border around the camp, going almost to the top of the hill. The first den is the Warriors' Den, which is the largest. It is closest to the entrance in case of intruders. The warriors den consists of three main burrows connected by a tunnel, with a tunnel leading to the medicine den as well as a tunnel leading under the barrier and outside of camp to the dirtplace. The next den is directly across from the warriors den which is the Apprentices' Den. This den consists of two burrows connected by a tunnel. Slightly up the hill towards the center in the Medicine Cats' Den which is two burrows, one serving as a sleeping quarters for the medicine cats and the other for the sick or injured patients. There is an herb storage in the back of the left burrow and a tunnel connecting the two. The next den is the Nursery, which is actually a shared den between the queens, kits, and the elders up the hill and to the left of the medicine den. The elders sleep in the left burrow. The queens and kits share a warm, moss-and-feather-laden burrow on the right of the elders' burrow. The final den is the Leader's Den is the highest of the hill, just before it flattens out on the top. The leader sleeps here as well as the deputy on some occasions. The leader reports on what is known as the Highstump. It is a large tree stump behind the den.
season & weather
The current season is leaf-fall. The temperature is slowly getting colder, but it still never gets below 60 degrees. The sun is normally shining in the sky, but the clouds may sometimes cover it. The winds often pick up and blow on the waves, causing dangerous tides. Apprentices should refrain from swimming, unless supervised by a warrior.
The prey is becoming slightly scarcer, specifically the tropical birds. Because of this, some dangerous predators have made an appearance.

symbolic flowers & colors
From apprenticeship, the cats of PelagicClan are given a tropical flower or plant as well as a specific color that best fits a part of their personality. The medicine cat chooses this and announces the cat's plant and color at his or her apprentice ceremony before being given a mentor. The plant and color are symbolic to the new apprentice throughout his or her entire life. Once an apprentice has completed his or her warrior assessment and is ready for a warrior ceremony, the elders make a piece of jewelry such as a necklace or anklet or some other form of trinket using the apprentice's designated flower or plant and then decorate it in paint of the apprentice's color.

Clamfur ✿ Tomcat ✿ 30 moons
❀ Bird of Paradise & Orange
Oh Clamfur. A sweet tom. This feline is classified as a light grey tabby. His main pelt color is a few shades above silver and his stripes are close to charcoal. Clamfur is around medium size being that he has somewhat stocky shoulders but is slender and agile. He is equipped with long legs and a long, skinny, tendril-like tail. His eyes are bright blue, similar to the reflection of a clear sky on a flowing river. Personality-wise, Clamfur is labeled as dependable. He is almost there when somebody he cares about is in need, no matter the situation. He is truly a lover and more recently has discovered a homosexual orientation in himself, something he never really addressed in his younger days. Despite being a lover, he is also a fighter. He is fierce and courageous in battle, though will act humbly when his courage and bravery are noticed. Clamfur was Clan-born, but his father was not. His mother, Tawnystone, fell in love with a loner named Wilson. Both his parents are now deceased, but he has one living relative in his sister and littermate, Hibiscusmelon.
Poppywasp ✿ She-cat ✿ 16 moons

Brilliant dark colors swirl together on the feline's coat. Colors that could be described as vibrant and vivacious. Overall, Poppywasp is a dark chocolate brown she-cat, her fur so dark it almost looks black. She has a round head and a short, flat muzzle that is tipped with a pink and black nose. She has two different colored eyes, the left being dark green and the right being a honey amber. Poppywasp's character is described as gentle, calm, and overall creative. She is very inventive and can stay cool and collected under pressure. She has a bit of an attitude, but is only snippy at those who either insult her or do something she displeases. She is a heavy rule-follower, so being rebellious is not a part of her nature. Poppywasp was Clanborn and has no living relatives. Her mother, Geraniumnectar, was a peaceful one that died of old age, having Poppywasp very late in life. Her father, Troutslap, was killed by an outbreak of greencough. Poppywasp had two siblings; her brother, Spikepaw, died from the same greencough that took their father, and her sister, Larkshine, died from a miscarriage. Poppywasp is not the kind of cat to bring up somebody's past, including her own, so she may seem hard to get to know.
