"Fine then." Foxmouth was mildly dissaponted. He wanted the warrior to talk. Foxmouth pounced into the air and leaped on Pineclaw's back, sinking his claws into his skin. "This is our territory and you WILL give it back to us! Even if we have to kill you all."
Falconwing got back to work on the barrier.
"Ok ok, then why did you cry my name silly cat!" Bogfeather was amused.
Thimblestar hissed. "I..had a nightmare...I felt like I was being trampled into the ground.." Thimblestar hoped he didn't sound like a kit.

Rosebriar looked for another marker for the next side of the border. "Hey Thornpaw what do you think would make a good bordermark." she asked her apprentice

As Foxmouth sank his claws into Pineclaw's back, the warrior tried to shake him off. However, do to the larger cat's size, Pineclaw was unable to.

Foxmouth then sank his claws back into his paws and jumped off his back. "Well, NOW do you choose to fight, join our pack or die in battle?" Foxmouth was pressing him to talk.

Pineclaw looked at Foxmouth. "I will fight for my clan," the tom said. I'm no longer a kittypet, he thought, I am a warrior. Pineclaw had vowed that he would protect his clan until his last breath, and he wasn't about to break that promise. He didn't want anyone else to get hurt like his friend, and he was there to make sure that didn't happen. I will make you and your foxes pay, Pineclaw said mentally.

Strawberrypaw|8 Moons|Apprentice|Female|strawberryqueeny
Strawberrypaw is a pale orange tabby she-cat with wide sky blue eyes. She is slender and therefore very good at climbing, running, and dodging but not so talented at fighting or carrying much weight. She was born pre-mature so she's much smaller than an average 8 moons cat. She is very sweet and down to earth. She is also very immature and naive and it can get her into trouble quite often. She dreams of one day becoming a queen and having tons of kits.

Foxmouth smiled and drew back. "Thank you for your time, that will be all." Foxmouth and the other foxes padded away into the night. Foxmouth was satisfied at the results, his session had gone good. He would have another one soon.
Bogfeather drapped her tail over his head. "Well, It's all over now." She mewed gently.
Falconwing smiled at the bold apprentice. However cross he might be, he would make a good warrior.
Thimblestar breathing slowed. "Thank you...You may go...I'm not a kit." He said looking Bogfeather in the eye.
(strawberry, Strawberrypaw will have the deputy (Falconwing) as her mentor. Otherwise, you are accepted, Welcome to the clan!)

Pineclaw watched as the foxes and their leader disappeared into the bushes. "We should probably report this to Thimblestar," he reported, turning back to the rest of the patrol. Pineclaw suddenly remembered that there was another patrol out in the forest at this time. I hope they won't get attacked, Pineclaw thought, worried that Foxmouth might find his way to the border patrol.

Strawberrypaw paced back and forth in camp. She wanted to go outside the walls and train but her mentor was out. She sighed and threw herself to the ground in exasperation.

Bogfeather noticed the apprentice and chuckled to herself. "Don't worry! Your mentor will be back soon! He is the clan deputy!"
Falconwing waited for Thornpaw to find a good landmark for the border.

Shadowpelt yawned, awakening from her rest. Her side ached, and she remembered her wound from the fox attack the night before. The warrior checked her side, where she saw the healing wound. It won't hurt if I go outside just for a short while, she thought, standing up. Bogfeather had instructed Shadowpelt to rest, but the she-cat had an urge to know about any updates in camp. Slowly, the she-cat padded to the entrance of the den. Pausing, the warrior peeked her head out, scanning the camp. In the clearing, she spotted Bogfeather and a small cat who she recognized as an apprentice, Strawberrypaw. Shadowpelt padded into the open, taking a breath of the fresh air. How refreshing this feels, she thought.

Bogfeather frowned. "Well I certainly don't. Even though you may be small, you have a big spirit." Bogfeather said, not noticing Shadowpelt.
Falconwing waited for Thornpaw to do so.

Shadowpelt spent a few more heartbeats taking in the fresh air before turning her attention back to Strawberrypaw and Bogfeather. In the mood for a nice chat, the warrior padded over to the two. "Hello," she meowed in greeting. Secretly, the warrior hoped that Bogfeather would not send her back to her nest.

"I guess so," Strawberrypaw huffed. She was secretly thankful for Bogfeather's approval. "Hi Shadowpelt!" Strawberrypaw said turning to the warrior. She took her time learning every warrior's name when she was first made an apprentice. She wanted to make an impression.

"How are you?" Shadowpelt asked, turning to the apprentice. She knew that the small cat had just recently joined the clan, and therefore was just getting to know everyone. The warrior felt that talking to the apprentice would allow the small cat to know her better.
As Shadowpelt heard the voice of the medicine cat, she turned around to face Bogfeather. Unlike the small apprentice, the medicine cat's gaze and tone of voice weren't as friendly. Instead, they seemed to be telling Shadowpelt to go to her den and get some more rest. Fine, she thought. The warrior cast a glance towards the friendly apprentice who she had greeted. Oh well, she thought. "Bogfeather tells me I have to go get some more rest so that my wound will heal," she meowed, raising her voice so that the small cat could hear her. Shadowpelt felt bad that she would have to hold off her conversation with the apprentice.
The she-cat padded back to the warrior's den, casting one last glance around camp before turning towards her nest. Shadowpelt let out a sigh, What a terrible attempt that was. The warrior had come out at the exact wrong moment.
