Nᴇ́ᴠᴇ́ᴄʟᴀɴ - ᶠᶤᵍʰᵗ ᵗʰᵉ ᶜᵒˡᵈ -- [ open to joiners! ]

x The snowfall around you seems… Threatening, at first. It's coming down heavy, but not heavy enough that you can't see through it. You’re built to live in this territory, though, with thick, heavy fur and big paws, you’re ready to keep going.

Aware that there’s wild cats, a Clan, somewhere in these woods, you stick to darting from bush to bush, rolling in the snow to hide your pelt from the stark contrast against the frozen wet. You feel like you’re going uphill, and in the snowfall, it's hard to tell, but as you breach the forestry and come to a wide, empty plain of snow, you find that the snow is lighter than expected and the scenery is beautiful.

Admiring the view instead of hunting, like your original plan was, you weren't focused on your surroundings, and didn't hear the crunch of paws approaching you. You weren't aware of anything out of the ordinary until you heard a voice, soft, from beside you.

“Beautiful, is it not?”

Startled, you whip around to see a large, thick furred, black spotted brown tom sitting next to you. His whiskers twitch at your surprise, and you lick your chest fur once before turning back to the view.

“My cats and I love this view. I wouldn't have picked a better place to live,” the tom meows gently, his eyes watching the sunset, just like you. “My name is Hyenastar, and I’m the leader of NeveClan. Since you’re in our territory, I would like to lead you back to camp, where you may stay for the night. You are welcome to join my Clan, if you would like,” he begins again, turning to look at you, and you stare back, before nodding, and letting Hyenastar lead you back to camp..

x NeveClan is based in what seems to be a constant snowstorm in an upper mountainous range in Quebec, Canada. For the most part, NeveClan’s territory is flat, but there’s various hills and dips scattered about, that make it somewhat difficult to navigate in alone. Despite being snowy constantly, the snowfall hardly comes down hard or fast, usually it’s a gentle snowfall, which is good disguise for the cats with darker pelts.
The camp is in what seems to be a cave, hidden in the mountainside at a slight angle, so it looks like a hollow dip from any side. But, getting closer and looking in, any cat would be quick to realize that it slopes down from the top, and that intruders could fall in and injure themselves if they weren’t careful with where they put their paws. The camp slopes downwards at an even rate, and is a wide, open space of stone and wet paw prints, however. The small tunnels leading into various smaller caves, and each cave that gets further away from the snow and wind gets slightly warmer. The warriors tunnel is off to the left of the cave entrance, the apprentice tunnel is close to that, the leader’s tunnel is almost straight back from the entrance, then the medicine den, queens and kits, and then the elders. Each den is space out like StarClan carved this cave for NeveClan themselves.

The Forest - While NeveClan seems to be more of a flat mountain land, there is a forest down the mountains a ways, and there’s trees dotted everywhere along the mountainside. The Forest is primarily where deer, mice, and squirrels are hunted, along with owls when the time is right. The Forest is also where wolves and bears can be seen in early No Snow and a majority of Beginning Snow. Cats are advised to not travel into The Forest alone, as it can be dangerous.

Treecut - In the Forest, for most of No Snow and Beginning Snow, there’s a place where Twolegs go to chop down the trees and use their wood. Treecut is to be avoided at all times during those seasons. During Slow Snow and Constant Snow, Treecut can be explored, but only in groups.

The Twoleg Village - NeveClan is nestled closer to the mountaintop than the base of the mountain, but if there’s ever a need for a cat to travel far, there’s need for caution, as there is a small Twoleg Village at the base of the mountain. The Twolegs themselves hardly come up into the mountain, but when they do, it’s during Constant Cold, and they leave shortly after.

The Great Sky Pine - In the middle of The Forest, there’s a large tree, with many low-hanging branches and holes where prey live. There’s other, equally large but not as large, trees surrounding the Sky Pine, but the Sky Pine is the one where apprentices are taught to climb and how to hunt squirrels and owls. It’s advised that no cat tries to climb Sky Pine without another cat at the base for supervision, as many cats have lost their lives because of recklessly climbing the Sky Pine alone.

Hostile Valley - Hostile Valley is to the left of the NeveClan territory, and it’s a deep, low valley with a large river running through it. The water in the river runs so fast that it doesn’t freeze over, and there’s many sharp rocks adorning it’s bed. While it’s hard to get to from NeveClan’s camp, it’s forbidden to travel there for any reason. It’s rumoured there’s hostile cats living in the valley, among the rocks and the caves, but nobody wants to find out if they’re true.

Thawed Lake - Thawed Lake is a lake positioned somewhere in the middle of The Forest, and it’s assumed that the river in Hostile Valley comes from Thawed Lake, as neither body of water are ever frozen, and the river in Thawed Lake flows away from the mountain. Cats go to Thawed Lake to get large quantities of water for the elders and queens, so they don’t need to leave the comforts of their dens to get a drink. Thawed Lake isn’t that wide, so if a cat is brave enough, they can fish to gather a different kind of prey if they’d like. In No Snow, bears will hunt in Thawed Lake, and it’s advised to stay away from said creatures.

Thistlestar’s Mountain Top - Thistlestar’s Mountain Top is exactly how it sounds. It’s the very peak of the mountain that NeveClan’s camp is based on, and it got it’s name when one of the first leaders of NeveClan stayed up there for days upon days, waiting for a sign that their Clan was going to be safe in the snow and cold. Legends say that this leader paced so much around the top, that it was leveled out and turned into a plateau from how much they paced and moved around. Every moon, cats fit enough to travel will travel to the top of the mountain to pay their respects to their ancestors, tell them how life is going and bring prey offerings, thanking them for their survival and the life they live.

Moonlight Cavern - Moonlight Cavern is a cavern, dipped so neatly in it’s like StarClan pushed their paw into the snow like a kit, creating this wide open cavern with a pool of runoff water of the snow creating a pond in the center. Moonlight Cavern is where cats go to share dreams with StarClan, as the moon will shine through the mouth of the cave at the right time to illuminate the water and fill it with sparkles and stars themselves..

x The cats of NeveClan have very very thick fur, to handle the almost constant cold that they suffer. Their paws tend to be large, with lots of fur around them, to keep grip in the snow.

x NeveClan pelts are not selective to one color, but main colors are white, grey, or black. They're easier to blend into their surroundings. No pelt color is rare to find.

x It's rumored that the prefix -dapple is cursed, and any cat that has the misfortune of having that in their name is cursed to an afterlife in the Dark Forest

x It is also rumored that the prefix -flower is given to queens almost exclusively. Any cat in the past who's had the prefix -flower has been a queen at one point in their lives, no matter their rank.

Apprentices

x Smokepaw -- 12 moons -- tom
A smokey-gray long-furred tom with a black face, stripe down his back, legs, tail tip and ears with bright amber eyes. He has very fluffy, thick fur made to deal with the weather in which he lives within. He's that cat who's always asking why and is a bit nosy. A little too happy-go-lucky and trusting for his own good. Also has the word "gullible" written on his forehead. Not literally, but you know what I mean.

x Stormpaw -- 11 moons -- tom
Stormpaw is a small, dark grey tom with sleek fur and a long tail. The underside of his fur, from his chin to his tail tip, is a soft snowy white. If you laid him out like a rug, flat on his stomach, his back is entirely grey, and his underside is entirely white. The tips of his toes are white as well, just as the tips of his ears are. Stormpaw has sharp blue eyes.

x Stonepaw -- 11 moons -- tom
Stonepaw is a quite large dusky brown tom, with flecks of grey throughout his fur. He's got large white paws, a darker brownish-grey muzzle and tail tip, and tiny little black spots over his eyes, like,, kitty eyebrows. Stonepaw has soft green eyes.

x Violetpaw -- 11 moons -- tom
Violetpaw is a dark smoky grey tom. His face, paws, ears and tail tip are a dusty grayish black. His chest, underbelly half way down his legs and tail are all a shining silver. he has medium length fur but also has a well feathered tail. He has lynx like ear tips and a smaller lion's like mane. He is still very large, with well muscled limbs and long pointy ears. Violetpaw has dark deep green eyes with golden yellow flecks, making them shine like golden dappled leaves. He is still very intimidating just like his sister, but is a lot easier to talk to. He is funny and sarcastic, but a real worrier when the time is right. He cares a lot about others and would put anyone before himself. Tying into his sarcastic-ness he is also kind of flirty but in a more light hearted and friendly way.

x Ebonypaw -- 10 moons -- trans tom
Elegant is the first word that springs to mind when one lays eyes on Ebonypaw, which seems to be a family thing. He's long and slender, but quite small; barely the size of a young apprentice, it's unlikely that he'll grow much more. His fur is a sleek black, glossy and well-kept, thick but short. The toes of his left paw are white, but otherwise, there's no real markings on him. His eyes are a pale grey, and he has quite tall ears. He's quite a gentle cat, generally laid-back and easy to talk to. He's more of a listener than anything else, and though he lacks any empathy, he's quite compassionate.

x Fawnpaw -- 9 moons -- she-cat
Fawnpaw is a more slenderly-built cat than most in the clan. Her coat consists of a white base and reddish-ginger splotches. Her fur is soft and downy, but unfortunately not quite as thick as others. Due to this, she gets cold more easily. Fawnpaw keeps her pelt well-groomed to perfection, since she considers appearance to be very important. She has golden eyes. In general, she is very physically-attractive young cat. As for personality, Fawnpaw is a strictly professional cat. She places the utmost value on becoming a warrior. Her ambition is less power-hungry and more self-fulfilling; she's never satisfied with the bare minimum. Fawnpaw doesn't "waste her time" socializing with her peers. Instead, one can usually find her clocking in her hours alone on a hunt or training. Because of this, she's not the greatest at social interaction and doesn't really have close friends. Fawnpaw is very skilled with hunting and fighting, since she has the qualities of intelligence, patience, and diligence.

x Cloudpaw -- 8 moons -- tom
A large cat, with a plume of a tail, large paws, broad shoulders, long teeth and small ears. His fur is smokey grey, covering most of his back, but his entire underside is a soft, snowy white. His paws and tail are grey, though, as well. His eyes are yellow.

x Maplepaw -- 8 moons -- tom
Large paws suggest he'll be a large cat when he grows up, and Maplepaw has the general aura of a big cat. He has thick, pale grey fur with a darker grey face, ears, tail, and legs - though he has a small patch of white fur between his eyes that seems to be in the shape of a diamond. His eyes are a rich golden-amber, he's overall quite lean, at the moment. He's a fairly quiet cat, prefers to let others talk for him and speaks only when spoken to. However, he is far from timid, being very confident in himself and in his abilities; often too confident.

x Owlkit -- 4 moons -- tom
Owlkit suits his name extremely well. His large, round pale/yellowy eyes stand out amongst his small ecru and white figure immensely, making him look almost permanently afraid.//Owlkit is a shy character, always the one standing at the back of the crowd and watching in. He likes to think rather than talk, and often daydreams throughout conversation. He is, however, a common lively kit once you get to know him properly. If he's with a group of cats he knows, he can be a troublemaker, and quite an annoyance to his seniors.

x Bearstar - 121 moons - tom
A very, very large black tom, with thick, fluffy fur, brown paws, a brown muzzle, a brown stripe down his back, a short, cropped tail that's colored brown with white stripes, and green eyes. He retired to the elder's den due to a failing memory and general oldness. He mentored Hyenastar himself.

x Thistlestar - a large, mottled grey tom with bright amber eyes, a scar on the bridge of his nose, worn down claws, and ratty, patchy fur. One of the first leaders

x Yellowflower - a slender light grey she-cat with golden brown spots along her head and spine, amber eyes. Former healer. 

x Skysong - a large, broad shouldered tom with dusky grey, almost black fur, spotted and flecked with light and dark brown. Green eyes

x Goldensun - a petite golden-brown she cat with a white chest and large white paws. Green eyes.

x Ashendust - a Siamese colored she-cat with blue eyes

x Snowleap - a dark grey tom with heterochromia; left eye is green, right is amber

x Softwhisker - a white and black patched tom with blue eyes, whom died by drowning in the Thawed Lake.

x Sunpool - a silver tabby she-cat with green eyes, who died by falling from The Great Sky Pine.

x Rivermoon - a slender grey tabby tom with pale green eyes, and long legs.

x Mousesong - a mousy pale brown she-cat with black-tipped fur and wide blue eyes.

Dark Forest

x Dovecall - a large, thick-furred white tom with massive, grey front paws. His back is striped with grey as well. Blue eyes. In the dark forest for murdering his mate.

x Ravenleap - a dark grey trans tom with slightly oversized canines and grey eyes. He went to the Dark Forest after murdering two of his kits (unnamed) and later trying to kill Ebonypaw, his surviving kit. He failed due to a fox intercepting him

Wanderers

x Whisperleaf - a tiny, fluffy white she-cat with dark tortoiseshell patches at the base of her tail and on top of her head, and bright green eyes. Despite originally being a Healer, she didn't believe in StarClan; she seemed to have an odd connection to something else.
