Colfer shrugged, his stutter beginning to return, as it always did when he talked to strangers. "G...Hood." He replied.
Morningfeather nodded. "Me too." She replied, scenting the air. She stalked towards the imminent scent of a mouse behind a clump of long grass on Windclan's side and slowly stalked forward. She suddenly pounced on it and killed it swiftly, letting it dangle from her jaws. "Well.. that won't feed too many cats." She muttered, slightly dissappointed.

*Redclaw looked up into a tree, a squirrel was in it. he whispered,* watch this *he bunched his muscles and leaped into the tree and snapped the squirrel's neck before he leaped back down, holding the squirrel in his jaws*

"Wow!" Morningfeather exclaimed. "You ThunderClan cats sure like squirrels." She said, dropping the mouse to pick up for later and seeing if any more scents of prey were carried in the air. A hare! She looked around, seeing one in plain sight. She ducked behind a bush and tried to follow it, but if hopped slowly away every time she got near. Finally when she was close, she sped after it on long, swift legs and tackled it, out of breath. She bit the back of it's neck and clawed at it's throat, finally realizing it was dead. "Is WindClan cats prefer rabbits." She purred.

*Redclaw flicked his tail* I've always been able to jump higher than most Thunderclan cats. sometimes, I catch Firestar staring at me for some reason.
*Snakefang waved her tail* if I get caught by a badger again, will you save me? *she teased as she walked away*

*Redclaw licked his chest fur in embarrassment, then an idea popped into his head* I got an idea!
*Snakefang purred as she kept checking the border. she didn't run into any trouble*
(I'm kind of thinking of making Redclaw a distant descendant of Skyclan)

Colfer himself went back to the rest of the patrol, Snakefang's face flashing in his mind for a brief second.

I think, we should have a competition between all of the clans. *Redclaw's eyes gleamed.*
*Snakefang was thinking about Colfer as she walked into camp. Russetfur intercepted her and asked,* anything strange? *Snakefang shook her head. Russetfur nodded and walked away*

"I suppose so. That would be a better time. Anyways, I'll look for another mouse to hunt." She replied, looking around in the area where she caught the previous one and seeing a clump of fur moving behind a bush. She creeped around, shooting forwards to snap the mouse's spine. She carried it out of the bush, putting it beside her other mouse and scrawny rabbit.

*Redclaw smelled a rabbit and looked to where the smell was coming from. he spotted it in a bush. he crouched and slowly stalked towards it. he was a taillength away when he leaped and landed on top of it. he snapped its neck. he walked back over.* I think that should be enough for the elders. what do you think?

"Probably." Morningfeather purred. "There aren't many elders in WindClan, but a few excited kits would love to have their first mouse soon." She said warmly, thinking about those WindClan kits, who were probably playing moss-ball now.

*Redclaw took the prey he had collected to the elders. he dropped the prey, but Mousefur pushed the mouse back towards him. Redclaw took it over to the nursery and dropped it in there. the queens purred and he nodded*

Colfer had since returned from the patrol and was lying down in the sun. He nodded at Redclaw as he left the nursery, yawning.

*Redclaw nodded at him and headed towards Firestar. when he got there, he dipped his head in respect. Firestar dipped his head back to him. Redclaw told him about his idea about the competition. Firestar looked interested and said that he would mention it at the Gathering tomorrow night.*
