"Good to hear, it feels like half of our warriors are the exact opposite... too intelligent for their own good," Foxlight said. "At least you're all fluff," She said lightly. She wasn't entirely sure if this was meant to be teasing, when it first slipped off her tongue that was her only thought, but... it wasn't really a bad thing. A lot of the warriors in camp were a bit too intimidating for Foxlight's taste, too good at hunting and diplomacy. It was nice to see another warrior struggling just as much as she was. Redfur shifted his weight, listening to her words curiously. "Fluff?" He gave a purr of amusement, inclining his head towards her, still purring. "I'm all fluff?" He re-addressed the name but naturally ignored everything else she had said. "Foxlight. You just called me 'fluff'." |

"Mistykit won't even be able to see her fathers face.." She sighed looking at her mate, Honeystep's eyes were filled with emotion, love and greif. | Mintkit | Mintkit squeaked as she lay, stretched out asleep in the nest. Her tiny legs were sprawled out in every direction, as though she was bathing in the sun. | Stormfire | "Should we head back?" Stormfire asked Lilyfrost, nuzzling his mate. He didn't want to be gone from camp too long, as Stormfire is afraid the fox might return. |

Stormfire padded to Lilyfrost's side and let her lean on his shoulder. As they padded back, he twinned his tail with hers and sniffed the fresh,cool air.

✒[ Foxlight ] Foxlight chuckled and laid down, tucking her paws under her while her tail wrapped around her. She finished the mouse in silence, her gaze shifting lazily across camp. Her ears perked slightly as she heard pawsteps at the camp entrance and Rainstar sit up.
Foxlight sighed and shook out her fur, shaking off the snowflakes. "I should report to Rainstar about the patrol," Foxlight murmured. She wearily stood up, suddenly wanting nothing more than to lay in the den and do nothing. Template made by Gengar ♀ |

Rainstar let her gaze trail to where Foxlight was making her way towards her, she gave her chest and flank a quick grooming before leaping gracefully down from the ledge, landing slightly awkward on one paw.
"It's nice to see a positive face in camp." She addressed the she-cat, motioning towards Redfur briefly afterwards, "I see Redfur has something to look forward too." She murmured, not to herself nor to Foxlight. "Anyways, anything wrong?" |

✒[ Foxlight ] Foxlight felt her heart warm slightly at Rainstar's praise. She smiled brightly at her, and almost missed the next thing she said. She was confused for a beat by what she meant, but was quickly distracted when Rainstar mentioned something being wrong.
"N-no, no, nothing like that," Foxlight said. "Actually quite the opposite, when we found the den of the fox, it was dead inside. We destroyed the den and buried the prey the fox had left behind as to not give any other foxes reason to come." Foxlight realized she hadn't expressly said she wanted to report on the patrol, but she reassured herself by thinking it was assumed. Even if she had rambled a bit.

Badgerstripe let his tail rest on Honeystep's back, watching her flank rise and fall while she dozed off. He gently moved Mistykit over towards her mom before quietly getting to his paws. He left the den without a sound, hoping not to wake them. He needed time to think, fresh air, and whatever helps shock.

Upon Foxlight's rambling, the she-cat couldn't help but give silent purrs of amusement. Had I thrown her off? I hope not. She listened intently, feathery tail curling instinctively around her front paws. "With the snow, it should help cover up the dead fox."
She paused to glance towards the camp entrance, where in Starclan is Stormfire. She briefly let out an exasperated huff, Stormfire had been out of camp for more than a couple of sun positions. She turned back to Foxlight. "For now, I want you to be on high alert, I'll work on a plan once Stormfire comes back. In case of another attack."

✒[ Creekkit ] Creekkit let out a soft mewl of indignation when Badgerstripe left. He quickly recovered and nestled closer to Mistykit and Honeystep, his fur fluffing up against the chill air.
[ For the kits are we just going to wait a few days before aging them up enough for them to walk around and play and everything ? ][ Foxlight ] Foxlight nodded fiercely, her heart swelling in pride. Foxlight was proud that she was included in the plan to resolve this, that she was trusted. She felt all of her worries of not amounting the same worth as the senior warriors slip away in one flick of her tail.
"Can do, I will remain in camp until then," Foxlight said. Not that she had planned on leaving, but Foxlight thought it was appropriate to express that she would be ready at a seconds notice. She dipped her head in respect to Rainstar
Foxlight headed across camp once more, her eyes briefly resting on the warriors den. She shook her head, deciding against sleeping. If she went to sleep now, she would be up until the Dawn Patrol. It was better just to wait.

Badgerstripe needed to clear his head, despite emitting a warm sense to keep his mate and kits calm, his mind was set on the future. What do I do? Badgerstripe's ears flattened instinctively and he felt as if he were to shrivel up into a hole, no one would notice his vanishing. He hadn't realized he was pacing; he let out a crisp sigh before settling down in the thin layer of snow that lined the camp ground.

Rainstar returned the friendly gesture to Foxlight. "I won't keep you confined here if you don't want to be." She called after her, hoping her order wouldn't be a burden on the younger she-cat. She watched her go before her gaze snapped over towards the camp entrance.
"Stormfire." She beckoned the deputy over, her voice had a slight edge to it.
He's a loyal deputy, but he needs to be treated like any other cat. She thought quietly to herself.
