Yeah kind or like a love circle or two cats start liking eachother but one of the cats also likes someone else and ends up leaving the first person, something like that, but brb be back in like 20 minutes ] [ I'd maybe be interested, depending on what happens ] |

"I don't know about that," Foxlight murmured, her gaze drifting back to the forest surrounding them. She glanced at him a moment later, smiling. She was surprised by the serious look he was giving her, and was glad when she finally realized why. For a moment she was afraid something had happened, but then he laughed and she smiled and then laughed as well. "You scared me for a moment," Foxlight said with a shake of her head. "That stern look caught me off guard." She felt foolish for not realizing immediately why, but then again she had gotten mildly distracted by the general noise of the forest.

"Oh I'm sorry I was trying to pretend I was mad at you for laughing. " He mewed looking embarrassed, "But i'm not mad at all." He quickly reassured her, and shuffled his paws. "Shall we get going." They had stopped because he tripped.

"No it's fine!" Foxlight said quickly with a soft chuckle. Foxlight hadn't really been thinking before she immediately jumped to the assumption of him being mad, she just over thought this sort of thing. When she was an apprentice she did the same thing with hunting, she would always over think the situation when it was very simple. "Oh, yeah," Foxlight began, she hadn't really even noticed that they were still standing still. "Sorry for being so spacey," Foxlight said, now heading towards the meadow.

Catching her surprised look, he returned it with a cocky smirk but simply agreed. "Yes, its the last thing I'm bound to say..." He said, stopping briefly in the middle of his sentence. He returned the purr, his whiskers twitching, "I don't hate camp, its just stressful." He said quickly, almost too quickly. "And yes, follow me." He trotted ahead of her, tripping on a root that stuck up in the mud. He tumbled a few feet before getting to his paws, sending a hating glare back at the root. » Smokesong
Smokesong was aware of his behavioral shift when he began talking about camp. She tilted her head as he turned away and began moving forward. She squinted her eyes in thought, What is he hiding? Her thought process was interrupted when he stumbled over the root, and she tittered with amusement. Stepping over the root and trotting the couple of feet he had tumbled. She pawed at some of the mud, flinging it off his pelt. "So where are you taking me?", still suppressing some laughs from the mud, causing his fur to jut out awkwardly. "I never took you as one to willingly leave clan territory." Well, technically, they haven't. yet. But she wanted to. She just wanted to see what was there. Plus, there's no harm in expanding the territory if there's a safe way up and down the cliff. Right?

I'm just a bit concerned, this morning on patrol we found the scent of a fox, it was old, but..." Foxlight lead off into thought, not quite willing to continue. She had also noticed that morning that after patrol Stormfire had immediately went to talk to Rainstar. Perhaps there was no need for concern, but she couldn't help but think the worst. She hadn't asked either of them what happened when they left camp, she hadn't really thought about the scent until later on. |

Honeystep was sunning herself near the nursery, she layed on her side, looking up at the clouds. Her belly rumbled, so Honeystep sighed. The queen looked over to the fresh kill pile before slowly heaving herself to her paws. |

Rowanflame lifted his head, almost tired of sunbasking all day. He slowly got to his paws, stretching as he did so. He sighed as he finished getting to his paws. He hadn't moved in quite awhile, too long. Firmly regretting his decision. He looked around for Stonepaw, his apprentice, but couldn't find the young cat anywhere. Padding over to the fresh-kill pile, movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention. Turning over to get better look, he saw the queen. Honeystep wasn't as far along as Quietrain, but he imagined that it didn't make her feel any better. Honeystep was in the process of slowly standing up, He picked up the squirrel and trotted over. Putting the squirrel down, "Figured I'd save you the trip." He said. He looked around for Cinderpaw. Cinderpaw seemed to enjoy interacting with the queens and their kits and bringing them fresh-kill. Not seeing the she-cat anywhere he returned his attention back to the Queen. "I'm surprised Cinderpaw didn't bring you any food?" He said almost questioningly.

He nodded solemnly. "You could've." He twitched his whiskers and moved. "I've been great." He mused, twitching his whiskers. He sat down and wrapped his tail over his paws, flickering. "I was just about to go hunting, I think." Uncertainty caught his voice. He wasn't in the mood for hunting, but he was a lump on the log yesterday, having aided very little, if any. "And yourself?" He asked tilting his head to side.

He flattened his ears out of embarrassment, giving his fur a few quick embarrassed licks before spitting it out just as quickly. "Alright alright. Laugh it up Smokesong." He flicked her ears with his tail before shaking his fur out, getting some parts of Smokesong covered in the mud that he was in. "Are you laughing now?" He lightly smirked, a tease tinting his voice. We'll be in big trouble when we get back. "Anyways, come on." He led the way, trotting off around the bend, stopping at the base of the cliff.

Badgerstripe
Snoozing nearby Honeystep, the tom lifted his head to the familiar voice of Rowanflame, one of his clan-mates that he never actually had the time to get to know. Although he was awake, he didn't bother to get up, he simply listened. After a minute or two, he lifted his head, getting to his paws in a sitting position. He sat maybe two or three tail lengths from them, his eyes trained on the camp entrance. |

He didn't bother to answer the first thing, he knew there weren't any excuses for running off, skipping a clan meeting, and getting almost mauled by a fox while hunting. I'm such a mouse brain. He said inwardly, noticing how messy his fur did look, it looked as if he had tumbled down a cliff. "Good afternoon to you too Honeystep." He chuckled softly, knowing how his mate was every day. He trotted over to sit beside her, lifting his head in a greeting to Rowanflame. |

He cursed quietly under his breath knowing that he wouldn't get out of this quite yet. He flicked his tail, meeting her gaze. "Lynxstep, Stormfire, and I ran into a little fox trouble... that's all." He reassured his mate. "Rainstar and Stormfire are out looking for it now. As a matter of fact, they have been gone all morning. I wonder whats holding them." He said curiously. "And the fox is far from camp..." He insisted on that answer, but truly he didn't know. |
