Sandstar looked at Hawk. "Hawk, do you promise to protect your new Clan from any dangers it may face, even at the cost of your life? And to defend the queens and elders and treat these cats as equals, and put the Clan first? And to protect help feed the elders and queens, and any cats whom cannot help themsleves? And to take any helpless cats found in the forest alone back to camp and help us nurse them back to health? Do you promise all these things in order to become a noble warrior of StarlightClan?" ( I can just imagine how epic Sandstar looks saying all this)

Dunewhisper was so angry at himself and his mother and Hawkshadow he left. But just before he went into the forest, he stopped. Remember what happened last time you went in there. You're weak and wounded. Rest. So he went to the medicine cat den and fell asleep.

Sandstar shook her head. "We have no deputy. I don't have anyone I think would be a good deputy in mind.. Dunewhisper is so grumpy, Brindlefawn has her kits to care for, I don't know about Milkheart... And no one stands out to me."
Sunwind looked at Dunewhisper. "Fine," SHe snapped. "I'll go get some. Wait here." She went into the store and started lookking for tansy.

Dunewhisper felt a strong tension between them. It was so close to snapping point. He left, ignoring his spiky fur. Pebblecreek relaxed and emerged from his corner. "I could feel the tension between you two. What's going on?"
