Well, if we are going a kinda the clan thinks Vesper caused this problem we should probably have them attack soon. Maybe we can have Vesper say he will leave when night falls, but before his departure we can have the rogues attack. They can take one of Earthstars lives and the clan will blame Vesper??)

((It really is one of my favorite rps! I have kind of been hinting at it with how fond Wildpaw is of Vesper but we could turn it up if you want. Besides I don't mind having other characters fall in love as well if you want to. I am also fine with leaving it off for a while I am just really enjoying the ride so to speak.))
Wildpaw looked shocked. "Vesper no. I-" he started to protest but Sparrowflight stepped between them.
"Wildpaw you have to respect Vesper's wishes." She told him shaking her head. She turned back to Vesper. "Why don't you let me look at your leg again before you have to leave." She suggested.

I think i'm fine with the rate we have it at now ^^ I like the hinting you have been adding. I kinda like the idea of Wildpaw jumping in and perhaps saving Vesper from Blight?? Idk, for now we can simply focus on the fight.)
Vesper tried for a smile, thankful for the medicine cat "Sure." he offered Wildpaw a look that seemed to say sorry before he followed the medicine cat out.
Blackfern laid his tail on the apprentices shoulder "He's doing it for us. You should respect this decision and let him repay us in his own way."

Sparrowflight padded back to the den with Vesper. She knew his paw was healed already but it had given him an excuse to leave. "I am sorry Wildpaw is... is fond of you and well I think he hoped you would become a clan cat." She smiled a little. "But I can understand not wanting to." She sighed. "Sometimes I wish my life was different too." She commented as she stared off toward the leader's den.
Wildpaw looked miserable. He wanted to follow Vesper and convince him to stay they were friends... Or something else he wasn't sure. Most cats in the clan knew of his interest in other toms but not all approved. He looked up at Blackfern. "Can I at least bring him the rabbit I caught so he won't be hungry?"

Blackfern smiled, a rare and unusual gesture "I'm sure he would love it." he could see the apprentice was... distraught. Wildpaw was reliable, he would be a great warrior. But he got emotionally attached quite easily. But that was no where near a bad trait. It only seemed to hurt him though. Even Blackfern found himself wanting Vesper to stay.
"Thanks for the save." Vesper said, sitting down in the den "I found myself wanting to stay. I've had more fun then I have in a long time hanging out with Wildpaw. He's someone I don't want to get hurt, and if I stay here your clan is put in danger. Blight has a few screws lose and would go as far as attacking you for me." he chuckled bitterly and shook his head "It's been a long time since I felt like I was part of a group." the last time it had been with his twolegs, but he couldn't say that in front of them.

((Vesper's comment made me remember. I love rping kittypets but I rarely get to around here. I toyed with the idea of making a kittypet rp but no one was ever into it.))
Wildpaw stood and walked toward the fresh kill pile but turned back. "Thanks Blackfern. I- I did ok today right?" He asked. It was irrational but he felt like he had failed Vesper and he just really wanted to not fail Blackfern to.
Sparrowflight nodded. "I believe you will always be welcome here Vesper. You have quiet a few friends." She sighed. "As well as some enemies. But I understand not wanting to put Wildpaw and us in danger although I would rather you not leave. Is he really as dangerous as you say?" She asked after a moment.

"You have done well. This may be an inappropriate time to mention it, but I was thinking of having your warrior test soon." he glanced to Earthstar, they had talked about it. There were a couple kits that would also be moving to apprentice soon as well. This really was no time for a fight.
Vesper nodded "At first he was relatively weak, it was only him and a couple cats he bullied into helping him. But there was a sudden raise in his forces. A rogue group of cats somehow came to think of him as their leader. He then had enough 'fire-power' of sorts to control the alley ways." he thought over his information "There was a uprising, but it was quickly quelled. Like you clans the alleys also have a pyramid of power. He's at the top for now."

Wildpaw looked surprised. "Really? I don't know what to say. I am glad I have lived up to both your standards." He looked warmed by this praise.
Sparrowflight's eyes narrowed in thought. "Hmm... He really does need to be taken down." She mused. "If we get into a battle he is the main one we need to beat I'll bet." She commented.
((Rogue attack now or wait till after Rabbit eating?))

I think I tried to rp kittypets once upon a time, but they simply don't have enough drama to get people ;-; After the rabbit will work. We need a bonding moment lol )
"Good. Now go fetch the rabbit before some other hungry cat decides it look like a meal." he waved away the apprentice.
"Yes, but you would also want to take out the former leader of the rogues. He is kinda like a deputy to Blight. Without both of them their power structure would crumble and the group would fall apart."

((I think its cause I own cats irl and like to think about how much safer their lives are... I love happy endings I guess thats why I am terrible at drama sometimes. It probably also why my adoption center is as long running as it is. Although I did lose a few people from it after I started including lgbtq cats... Ad we haven't been as active since we moved to the new forums.))
Wildpaw scooted off to the pile and fetched the rabbit form earlier. He padded into the medicine cats den with it and dropped it in front of Vesper. "I thought you would want this so you wouldn't be hungry for your trip. I did catch it for you after all." He told the other cat quietly.
Sparrowflight nodded. She was about to ask about this second cat when Wildpaw padded in. "How about I leave you to that rabbit then and report to Earthstar about Blight and his deputy?"

It's always hard to hear that people leave things for something like that. I've been planning a clan, and it would be silly to restrict people like that. I own a cat as well but rping her would prob be boring considering all she does is sit inside all day XD)
"Thanks Wildpaw." he didn't want the medicine cat to leave, but he would have to face Wildpaw eventually. When she was gone he offered "Would you like to share it?" his head titled slightly as he asked.
Earthstar talked with Blackfern.

((I think I have a skewed view on kittypets due having barn cats as well as house cats. The barn cats don't always fair so well and it hurts me when one of them gets killed. I would save all cats if I could and dogs. I am just soft like that lol. I thought that it would make my adoptable kits more interesting if they varied widely and so I made a few of them lgbtq style but I rarely list it on their info just incase it offends. I try to make it open for everyone to find a kit.))
Wildpaw nodded. "Sure." He answered. He was quiet a moment. "Are you sure about leaving?" He asked with a heavy heart. "I won't try and change your mind again." He promised.
Sparrowflight padded toward the leader and Blackfern. "I talked with Vesper from what it sounds like if they attack the main threat is Blight and his deputy."

But I do want you to know that I had a lot of fun while I was here." he smiled fondly at the apprentice "I'm glad I got to meet you." he paused for a moment before adding "And everyone else of course." his fur burned slightly with embarrassment. That wasn't something he would normally say.
"I see..." Earthstar mused "Thanks for telling me. If it becomes a problem I'll send out scouts to determine what the two look like."

Wilppaw smiled back. "I am glad you came here and I am glad you liked us." He gave that grin that signaled a joke between them. "And found out just how true those stories about us were." His heart was aching at the thought of Vesper leaving so much it made the rabbit seem to taste dray and flavorless.
Sparrowflight nodded. "I hate to see him go." She sighed. "Wildpaw is so attached."

Vesper grinned "I know now, but like I said I won't be telling anyone else about it. It's probably better they think you're some group of evil cats. Even though that's obviously not true."
"I agree." Earthstar huffed, shaking his head "But it's his choice. We cannot change it."
Outside of the camp there was a large group making their way through the long grass. Blight was at the lead. He followed the scent of Vesper, a clear scent compared to the rest of the mingled cat scent. (You wanna rp the deputy?)

Wildpaw nodded. "Yeah it is probably best." He fell silent for a moment feeling unsure what to say. Finally he looked up at the other tom. "If you should ever need me... Well just come find me or send word."
A broad chested cat with torn and ragged ears strode just behind Blight. "These puny cats don't stand a chance." He hissed as they passed through the grass.

"I will. Thanks for being there." Vesper stood, the rabbit finished "Shall we get out of Sparrowflights way?" he walked out of the den with Wildpaw.
Blight laughed "Of course." he stopped a bit away from the camp. He noticed the guard. Flicking his tail two light haired cats shot out from the bushes and took down the guard. As they got closer he could see Vesper walk out of a den. Waiting only a moment he jumped to his paws and yelled "Attack!"

Wildpaw started to follow him but he didn't make it far. As the two exited the den, Wildpaw heard a screech of "attack!" before chaos broke lose.
The large grey and white deputy leaped into battle. His huge claws flashing as he leapt at a near by warrior. His clawed paws slashed at the warriors sides as he fought to close his teeth around the soft flesh of his victims neck.

Blight laughed as he stood, his group swarming around him. Cats jumped out of the grass, all snickering and snarling. They attacked swiftly. Warriors and apprentices were on the scene immediately. Some moving to protect the nursery and elders den while others jumped into battle. Earthstar tore out of his den and lunged into battle calling Windclan to attack. Blackfern jumped at the deputy, trying to get him to release the warrior.
Vesper hissed "I knew this would happen. I should have just gone with him."

Winterwind stood just inside the nursery in front of her kits and frostbloom. If the warriors protecting the nursery feel she would defend the kits and other mother until she died.
Sparrowflight's heart lept as she watched the battle start up around her. She needed to get to the medicine to help any wounded and protect the supplies she had. With a last look at her leader she ran to the entrance of the den only to be stopped by one of the enemy cats.
Wildpaw saw the distress of the medicine cat and turned to Vesper. "Run!" He shouted. "Get away from here so they can't find you." He couldn't stand the thought of Vesper getting hurt. With that last phrase to Vesper he hurled himself at the cat attacking Sparrowflight.
Lurker (as the large deputy was known) was so intent on his victim he didn't see the attack headed for him. When Blackfern hit him it bowled him over allowing the bleeding severely wounded warrior to limp off. Lurker came back up, murder in his eyes as he stared at Blackfern. "You will pay for that!" He hissed.

Earthstar tore through a cat, tossing her aside. He glared at the cats around him, looking for Blight. He spotted the cat, but with a whole sea of cats to get through he doubted he would get there any time soon.
Blackfern snarled "Just try and make me." he dodged the initial attack and kicked out, aiming for the cats leg. If he could take out a leg the fight would be over. But something told him that it wouldn't be that easy. Fight like this never were. Rogues fought differently then clan cats. They did unexpected things.
Vesper could only watch, panic freezing him. When he finally pulled himself together he shook his head and started running towards Blight. He rolled under a cat that jumped at him they pivoted around a warrior and rogue. He knew Wildpaw had told him to run, but if he was going to leave he was going to take Blight with him.

Wilpaw connected with Sparrowflights attacker with terrific speed on his part. The force of the blow threw the cat back. He knew that Blackfern would be proud of that. It was him that had taught the apprentice to use his speed against others. Sparrowflight nodded once to Wildpaw and ran on to her den. Wildpaw watched as the rogue got up. He begain to lash at the apprentice and though Wildpaw dodged most of them he felt a few connect. The one thing the rogue wasn't was fast though and after waiting for just the right opening Wildpaw made a quick slash at his hind legs. In a matter of seconds Wildpaw had pinned him and clawed and bit till the rogue screeched. The apprentice looked around as he allowed the rogue to flee for Vesper and say to his horror the other tom was headed right for Blight.
Lurker dodged the blow to his legs and reared back trying to land a heavy blow to Blackfern's head. He knew he was a massive tome and he used his strength well.

Vesper clambered up the hill and stopped right in front of Blight "Why have you come here?" he asked, voice tight with anger. The larger tom sneered and said "I never lose my prey. And now that I know where this clan recites I felt like taking it over." he looked over the carnage he was causing, mouth curling into a cruel grin "This wouldn't have happened if you had just stayed with me." his voice was sweet, sickly so. He brushed up against Vesper, the golden cat shying away and glaring at him "I'll come with you, but leave them alone."
"I cant do that. See, the rogues in my group wanted to take this place for their own so I figured why not. It's not my problem. If they want to take more land for me, more power to them."
Vesper snarled again "If you won't leave I'll make you." he unsheathed his claws and jumped at Blight. He may be big, but Blight was quick on his feet, he moved to the side. Just as Vesper was turning to face him Blight scooped up dirt with his claws and flung it in Vespers face, temporarily blinding him. Yowling in surprise Vesper reared back. Blight took this change to run his claws across his face, leaving three long gashes across his cheek.
Blackfern tsked and veered to the side. The cats paws came down on his shoulder and knocked him aside, but he avoided a fatal blow. Rolling to his paws he spun so he was facing the cat and jumped at him, using his momentum to bowl him over and hopefully get in a few attacks.

Wildpaw looked horrified to see Vesper attack. "No!" He screamed and began running. He wove his way through the fighting cats around him trying to reach them. He couldn't let Blight hurt him or... He refused to think about something worse then injury. "Starclan please give me strength!" He prayed.
Lurker felt blackfern hit him and it knocked him off balance but didn't make him fall. He knew this cat would try to grab a leg or make him fall so he countered by jumping back out of blackfern's reach to regain his footing. He swiped at the other cats face trying to get and ear or eye.

Vesper felt blood trickle down his muzzle. He blinked, trying to get his sight back. The sounds around him drowned out Blights movements and he couldn't tell where an attack was coming from. He felt claws run across his shoulder, drawing more blood. Hissing he whirled to face where he thought Blight was. Again he only lashed out at air. A heavy weight tackled him from behind and he crashed against the ground, feeling a dust cloud billow as he hit the ground.
"You should have just joined us." Blight laughed, voice continually moving "I could have spared you." he raised his claws for a final attack. Vesper blinked again only to see Blight over him with claws posed for a final attack.
Blackfern felt the cats claws tear through his ear but ignored it and whipped his claws across the cats muzzle.

Wildpaw saw Vesper fall. He saw Blight ready to strike the killing blow but Wildpaw was quicker. "Not today!" He hurtled into the rogue leader with brilliant speed. He sank his claws into the other cats fur as he bit down hard on what ever part he had come in contact with.
The big tom reared back in alarm feeling the claws rip at his face. He lashed out blindly his anger making him more powerful but less precise. Anger made cats make mistakes.

Blight yowled in surprise. He was distracted long enough that Vesper had time to roll out of the way. Blight only had enough time to turn and snarl at the apprentice before Earthstar jumped onto the hill behind him. Realizing he was outclassed and out numbered Blight yowled "Retreat!" the rogues, who were slowly being out numbered all broke away from the battle and ran they way they came. "I won't forget this!" Blight spat, glaring darkly at Vesper before turning to Wildpaw "I won't be forgetting you any time soon either." and with that he fled.
Blackfern was about to land a finishing blow when suddenly the rogues around him started to flee.

Wildpaw hissed at the fleeing rogue leader. "You'd better not forget me." He watched the others flee before turning to Vesper. "Are you alright?" He asked concern filling his eyes.
The deputy rogue hissed at Blackfern. "This isn't over." He turned and fled after his leader back into the tall grass.
Sparrowflight watched as the intruders began to flee and with out waiting a moment she got to work. She rushed to her den and began preparing cobweb compresses and counting up the injured.
