due to the lack of activity, i haven't really been active around here. i'm sorry that the only thing you here from me now are "hehehe hello everybody ! ~" posts every other day. i do mean to be active, and if anyone would like to roleplay, please ask me. i'm going to try and not be lazy with my responses anymore. because you guys and this clan deserve better, and i don't want this amazing roleplay to fall into inactivity.
anyhow, i have finally decided to skim through what i've missed. there appears to be some conflict, i trust that you all will know what i'm talking about. i don't want to try and fan the fire, so right know i will stay silent.
i hope everyone has had a lovely day.

((aa,, witch hazel, how about you try throwing one of your characters into rp? i think your characters are very cool and it makes me sad seeing them go unused especially because you're a very good writer!))
"Got it," Slatestorm meowed, heading over to Peony and nudging her. "Get up. You wanna be useful in this Clan? We need to fortify the dens and protect 'em from the storm." She said the last part somewhat loudly on purpose, so that anyone around who was willing to help would likely hear and also assist.
"T-thank you," Noisepaw's quivering voice was barely audible over the storm. "I don't see any shelter, but maybe if we keep moving we'll f-find something?" Their long, thick pelt was drenched, making their pawsteps incredibly heavy and walking a challenge.

Badgerheart nodded to Slatestorm, watching her walk over to the sopping wet kittypet.
He turned his head towards the sound of a cat yowling, moving forward through the sheets of rain. He spotted Breezewhisper, searching through the downpour "Breezewhisper, over here! Help me to round up all the apprentices and warriors. We need an accurate headcount to know whose safe in camp and whose out in the storm!" He called, raising his voice above the gale.

Smokepatch struggled forward, pressing her body up against Noisepaw. They pushed against the gale, helping eachother to stay standing against the driving rain.
"Look, up ahead!" She meowed, pointing her nose towards a huddle of rocks ahead. The earth opened up in a gaping maw underneath a rocky hillside. It appeared as though a smaller den had been widened by the loose ground, mud coming forward from the hole like cold lava.
She pushed forward, supporting Noisepaw and desperately hoping the apprentice's feet wouldn't get sucked into the sticky earth.

Peony hadn't known what to do once the rain hit. Her meager little nest had quickly been washed away and she stood sopping in the middle. She startles as Slatestorm approaches her, "o-oh! Yes!" Fortify the dens?
"O-okay." That'd need things to buffer them with, right? Yes. "Where should I start, Slatestorm?" She didn't want to assume anything and become a hindrance when she was trying to help.
Nettlehawk pokes her head out of the den distastefully, "Of course. Puddles and puddles of water from the sky." She nearly makes a disdained, 'starclan forbid' but she wouldnt disgrace their name for a small amount of irritation.

Breezewhisper snaps out of it and nodded his head slowly. He makes his way to the apprentices den to see who was there. He knew Noisepaw was out a patrol so he was out. Hope Noisepaw is okay.

Badgerheart nods tersely in return, noting that Nettlehawk seemed fine enough in the elders den, and moved towards the warriors den.
He caught sight of most of their pelts, noting that Smokepatch, Thornclover, Cinderstorm and Palecloud were absent, and he hadn't seen them running around in the downpour in the clearing. That made at least four warriors unaccounted for, not to mention how many apprentices they might have taken with them.
"Breezewhisper, Slatestorm, what are your statuses?!" He called out, blinking raindrops from his eyes as he tried to catch sight of the two warriors.

"Good!" Badgerheart called back, waiting to hear from Slatestorm. An apprentice could easily get lost or sucked into the mud in weather like this- the less of them out in the storm, the better.

(So it feels like we've lost a lot of RPers....no one's responded on the discussion page, so I'll ask here too. Do we want the camp to flood and the clan to have to move because of it? The patrol won't move forward until the storm stops, but the storm won't stop until after some action the clan (i'm assuming) so we're waiting on that.)

Noisepaw's steps were already heavy as is, and walking through the mud was a visible effort, forcing themself to stay above the muck. Eventually, though, they reached the den, exhaustion leading them to slump slightly as soon as the ground turned firm.
"We'll... need to start by plugging up some the cracks in the dens so the rainwater doesn't leak in as much. Then, uh, we should probably get somewhere dry to move the fresh-kill... so it doesn't rot in the rain," Slatestorm instructed, a little unsure of herself, then turned back to Badgerheart. "Peony agreed to help!"

(I feel like it's too much to have the camp flood right now. Let's just get everyone safe and then have them sit out the storm overnight. Then the next day they can work on search parties and restoring the camp structures. Does that sound ok?) ( 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨 do you have any preferences?) Smokepatch nudged Noisepaw, helping them as best she could. Inside the den her fur prickled and a wave of anxiety hit her. The den held the rank stench of fox! She opened her mouth, tasting the air, and let some of her fur lie down. It's stale, probably the stench of that fox we chased out a couple moons ago...She moved with Noisepaw back to a deeper corner of the set where some scraps of foul smelling bedding still remained. "How are you feeling?" She asked Noisepaw, once she'd had a good look around. The apprentice looked like a wet rag, barely remaining on their feet. She padded over, rasping her tongue over the apprentices ear and head, hoping to bring some warmth to her sodden fur. ------- Badgerheart nodded at Slatestorm "Good. Figure out which den is the driest and have the elders, queens and kits move there. The kits will need to be carried- they'll sink right into mud like this. Breezewhisper and I can take care of moving the fresh-kill" He meowed tersely, nodding at Breezewhisper, trying to regain some semblance of normal clan hierarchy "Does that sound good to you?" |

Ivypaw slinked back to the apprentice's den. It didn't look like the rain was letting up any time soon so there was no point in getting wet. He curled up in his nest and closed his eyes, hoping he could get some training in in the dark forest.

Peony had seen plenty of moss and twigs outside of the camp the few times she had been out. It'd be great for working into any dens to stop anything from leaking. She watches Slatestorm return to Badgerhearts side and follows after. "I can start gathering materials to stop the water from getting in whatever den we choose- I saw plenty of materials that would work for that! Or would you like me to do a different job?"

"B-bad," Noisepaw didn't sugarcoat it - they were too cold and scared to, anyway. "I hope the storm goes away soon..." They then paused to sniff the air and wrinkled their nose, catching an unpleasant scent they didn't recognize. It was a bit stale, but it still was terrible. "It stinks in here!" At least that was said with a bit more feeling than "dejected and terrified".

Badgerheart nodded curtly at Peony "Yes, that seems like a good idea. Get as much as you can carry as quick as you can." He meowed, thinking that for once the kittypet actually seemed to be making herself useful instead of slinking around the camp. "Just make sure you only bring back dry moss. Dirty bedding is better than wet bedding. We don't need cats getting sick". He wondered briefly if he should send an apprentice with her, so she didn't bring back completely worthless supplies, but he reminded himself that traveling out alone was dangerous enough without bringing an apprentice along.

Smokepatch looked down at Noisepaw and felt the sharp pang of pity and guilt hit her. Poor Noisepaw wouldn't even be here if I hadn't encouraged Cinderstorm to take out that patrol.. Smokepatch hoped desperately that her other clanmates were fairing well, and tried to put up an optimistic facade for the small apprentice.
"It's just fox scent, pretty stinky huh? But it's really stale smelling, so we won't be having any trouble. It's probably that one we chased out of the territory a while back" She meowed, trying to ease the apprentices potential fears. "Besides, it's so sheltered here I bet we'll be warm in no time. Why don't we just try to groom as much water out of our pelts as we can and then try to sleep out this storm?"

"Okay." Peony nods back to Badgerheart- she was glad the cat wasn't giving her a foul expressioned look for once, but he did have other priorities than giving a pet a cold shoulder. "Dry moss, and lots of twigs and leaves." she could do that. She excuses herself and hurries out of the camp to search for the supplies.
She'd be fine, there were plenty of alcoves where such things would be dry, then she'd just come back, put the bedding in the den, go back and get the rest for the outside.

( Yep! I agree. But admins ditching a thread essentially kills it. I'm gonna have to agree that the clan is dead until/unless Nido comes back. I tried to keep the plot going but it just didn't seem to work out. )
( I really enjoyed RPing with all of you guys though. I'll be in Novices tribe and planning my own clan if you guys ever wanna get together for stuff)

( yeah, same, but we gotta face it at some point :S our admin is MIA and for the most part so are our leader and med cat. There just isn't any chance of keeping a clan together with all of those crucial roles missing. )
(I'd nearly suggest just remaking Twilightclan, but idk if it would be the same)
